Re: Memories of An Oldie: A Veteran RPer's Auto-Biography

I used to use T1 for a couple of years. T1 got a little heady, needing good insight into what's going on, so I switched to T2, always ended up being a little slower than I wanted to keep up. HATED, DESPISED, UTTERLY LOATHED T3. One word attacks that needed to be sealed before your opponent could typ...

Re: So, Ace Darkfire is still around. . .

Which is why I'm still posting, right? Might not be full-on, but I do pop-in from time to time, even if I don't post.

Oh, and we have a new drawing:

Re: So, Ace Darkfire is still around. . .

Light/rough line work is done by a 2H Wood Pencil, just so I can rough everything in, from there I use a super-sharpened 0.5 Mechanical Pencil to finalize everything.

Shading is done with a 2H Pencil as well. Though I'd like to get a 4h or 6h pencil for it instead, just to lighten it up a bit.

So, Ace Darkfire is still around. . .

And doing artwork. Non-3D, I don't have access to the computer I do those on. Pardon the darkened nature of the scans, I'm in a situation that does not permit me to use a scanner other than one at a Public Library, so the images are non-resized - just click the pictures when the page loads to get th...

Re: A few of my favorite quotes - What's yours?

Carter: "Control? This is Noble One. Spire One is green, and you're free to engage. Have a nice day." [Halo: Reach]

There's also on "The Package" where he tells Colonel Holland that they need to thin Sword Base out a little bit, or "we'll be way too popular."

Re: LARP?

Unfortunately, a lot of people rip on people who LARP, but they love action movies (or God's forbid, "Twilight") when the majordifference between a LARPer and an Actor/Actress. . . is one of them gets paid money - and it often tends to be a lot. (The other difference being that the actor/a...

Re: Who is old enough to remember...

Hah, Evercrack. The WoW before WoW ever actually existed, and that the uneducated types say is ripping off WoW. (Kinda like, you know, a 1990's movie about Vampires is ripping off a 2000's movie about a Sparkling Fakepire and a Shapeshifting Humaniwolf - Jacob is NOT a Werewolf. Edward is NOT a Vamp...

Re: Google Your Username!

A lot of stuff is me, quite a bit of stuff isn't me, by me or even about me. Such as the bull on "ThePowderToy." And a lot of the Google image results. Mostly drawings and 3D stuff from my dA... maybe a few from SA mixed in there, despite never going there anymore. And a lot from World of ...

Re: Is it okay to smoke marijuana while pregnant?

It's funny, Ace, I asked the same questions. However, it is definitely not uncommon to have your menstrual cycle regularly through pregnancy - it does happen a lot. She claimed she thought she was just getting fat, and even though she's a heavy-set girl, you can tell it's not 'fat', there IS a baby...

Re: Is it okay to smoke marijuana while pregnant?

I have to ask... did she not have a bout of morning sickness? Or for that matter, non-normal urges over the last 8 months - like increased appetite over normal, a change in desired foods (Banana, pineapple and peanut butter sandwich)? Maybe the lack of a period would have told her that something isn...

Re: Has your Zodiac sign changed?!

It's unlikely those born under the previous understanding of Constellation positions would be effected, as at the time you were born, the represented constellation would have been in the sky at that time, rather than a different one proposed because of an assumed change in Earths' position that only...

Re: AceDarkfire/Renegade581's Art Thread

I wanna be the very *shot* Good to see you haven't lost your touch, Ace. ^^ I don't intend on losing, but it may end up being inevitable that it happens. I haven't had much interest in doing anything artistic lately, and if I do, I just end up screwing it up something bad. Kinda kills the drive whe...

Re: The Internet Blockade

Unsurprising piece of crap of a bill. People didn't buy much into the Net Neutrality Campaign that was going on some years ago. This is proof of why people were wanting it in the first place. Personally, I'd be surprised if it passes, while at the same time ticked off. But even if it does, a new sen...

Re: AceDarkfire/Renegade581's Art Thread

If only to bump this back on the first page.

A few months old (around the beginning of this year):

And only a few weeks old, not considering the modeling time (just the time it was uploaded to DA):
