The only difference from tonight and any other night was that while he appeared calm he was being hyper vigilant avoiding any crowded street with back roads making his normal trip home take about an hour. This didn’t bother him though. It gave him time to think as the scene he just escaped replaying in his mind on repeat. If it wasn’t for the fact that he could still feel the blood drying on his skin, he might have been able convince himself that what he had done and what he had witnessed after was all fake. That the beautiful boy didn’t just save his life in a way that only Minkyu could find beautiful and enchanting. Truthfully speaking the fact that he was interested in this random beautiful man who had brutally but efficiently handled anyone who so much as LOOKED there way when all hell broke loose after Minkyu fired the gun was still slightly alarming. I'm being interested in someone is one thing but the interest doesn't normal increase once your covered in someone else's blood, or blood in general.Somewhere along the way he remembered his phone and that he was bound to so many missed calls from his friends. He pulled out his phone and went to go turn it on. Nothing. Minkyu groaned and tried again. Once again nothing. This was not something he needed right now. As his building came into view he made a mental not to ask his boss for more shifts so he can afford rent and a new phone. He silently vowed not to tell Mack about the broken from because he knew she and her mom would get him a new one , and Minkyu couldn't let them do that for him. They've done so much for him already. As he reached his front door he silently slipped his broken phone in his pocket while mentally preparing for the new horror he was about to face. While he lives alone he is well aware that if he didn’t already have a guest, he would rather quickly. Looking at his current state he was REALLY hoping for the latter. This hope was not answered. As he opened the front door, he could see the soft light from his tv coming from the other room. He sighed and braced himself for what was about to come........|||||---------------- ▭▭▭▭▭▭▭▭▭▭▭▭▭▭▭▭▭▭▭▭ -------------GOES BY: Kenzie/ Mack--------LOCATION: New York City--------DIALOGUE: #339966--------MACK'S DIALOGUE: #663399———-—-------- ▭▭▭▭▭▭▭▭▭▭▭▭▭▭▭▭▭▭▭▭ -------------|||Kenzie had been here for what seems likes hours though in all actuality it couldn’t have been more than 30 minutes to an hour. She had tried not to worry she really did but Min had brought out her over protective nature. Truthfully speaking she is well aware that her overprotectiveness was due to fact that she had been there with him when everything bad happened to him while growing up. So her awareness of his past coupled with the fact that she hasn’t been able to reach said boy has been driving her insane. When they had last spoke she could here that he was in fact on the street heading their way but the boy never arrived. The birthday celebration was in full swing when she first stepped outside to call the boy again. When he didn’t answer this time she bit her lip nervously and 10 minutes later she excused herself from her friends to go look for him. After she walked through the line just making sure he wasn’t waiting there already she decided to take off on foot. Ten minutes in to this however she decided to call a taxi taking it around for a bit before finally giving the driver the address to their building. This cost her a pretty penny but she needed to make sure he was laying in the street somewhere. When she arrived to the building she ran to his door. Once she realized he was home she sent Min another text begging for him to let her know he was alright before decided she wanted to change clothes. She left his apartment for a few moments to grab clothes from her place before returning to his. At first she was just going to change at her place but the need to be present if and when he arrived home struck her so she decided to just change there.Once changed she turned to tv on and began to not so patiently wait. The sound of the door reopening pulled her out of her thoughts. She began to make her way toward the sound as she said, "There better a damn good reason as to why you didn't show tonight and are only return now! Don't you how worried a wa- Her rant was stopped prematurely as she made it to the entrance of the living room and saw Min staring at her calmly with an alarming amount of blood on him. " What happened to you Min? Are you okay? Why is there so much blood?" She was about to continue her questions but Min cut her off saying, " I guess it wouldn't make you feel any better if I told you none of this blood is mine," while chuckling. She stared at him incredulously replying ,"I don't want to hear any of your jokes right now. What I need is for you to go get cleaned up and then come back here prepared to tell me what happened tonight." Kenzie heard her voice break as she held back the tears that had been threatening to fall all night. The room was silent for a bit minus mumbles coming from the tv and then she heard a sigh before Min turned toward his room. As soon as the door shut she sat back down on the couch with her head in her hands and waited knowing he would tell her about his night when he came back. She only hoped he was going to tell her the truth because she knew she needed to know exactly what happened if she was going to protect him.
