Making It All Come Together : A Multiverse Discussion

As the title says, this thread itself I would like to discuss how fellow GMs tend to build their multiverses or make them work well within their games. I understand that this opening post is rather bare, but let me pose the first question for discussion: How do you as a GM set the stage for a Crosso...

Re: Pathfinder: Anyone up for some Fantasy?

@Shanatos: Whatever class and race you want to play, my friend. Provided they are on the site of course. I might entertain the thought of houserules in a later juncture for a future game of Pathfinder, though. While I'm not going to be rigid about interpretations of rules (aka a "Rules Lawyer&q...

Re: Pathfinder: Anyone up for some Fantasy?

@Shanatos: That one would be perfect actually! It seems to auto-calculate scores and puts various numerical values needed (such as carrying capacity, modifiers, skills, etc). Would anyone be opposed to using the Myth Wavers sheets? I noticed all you have to do is sign up and you can create a charact...

Re: Pathfinder: Anyone up for some Fantasy?

@Dae Mec: I believe that the Red Dragon Inn dice roller would be superb for us to use! That way, results will can be sent to email and from there we can still have a somewhat reliable die-rolling system for stats, actions, etc. As far as that character sheet, perhaps we can come to a consensus on th...

Re: Pathfinder: Anyone up for some Fantasy?

@Shanatos: Any combination to get to the Prestige Class is fine with me. I'm fine with any class on that site if anyone wants to play them. From Barbarian to Gunslinger to Magus to Ninja. @Dae Mec: Human witch is fine, as are the options you've chosen. As far as character sheets go, I don't have any...

Re: Pathfinder: Anyone up for some Fantasy?

@El_Gringo: I prefer to start at level 1 for all of my games. While I understand there is a preference to play higher level games because you can do "tons of kick-ass stuff", I like to see characters get built up from level one and onward. Remember that guttersnipe you gave a coin to in th...

Re: Pathfinder: Anyone up for some Fantasy?

@Shanatos: Totally possible at your character's 6th level! What route might you take to get to the Chronicler? I think that prestige class aspiration would work well especially in a Guild-style game with all the knowledge that they could have the opportunity to seek.

Re: Pathfinder: Anyone up for some Fantasy?

@Dae Mec: Anything on Paizo. So if you wanted to play Orc, or Strix, or Oread I'd be fine with it. As long as it is in the Advanced Race Guide or the Core Rulebooks I'm fine with any race. I was wondering if perhaps we could take this time to brainstorm some character ideas as I'm really eager to ge...

Re: Gundam Wing roleplayer wanted!

That seems like a very good premise for a game! A sort of "Zombie Apocalypse meets Gundam Wing". It would be interesting to see how the scavenging aspect of survival would go with the mobile suits. On a suggestive note: As awesome as it would be to play canon GW characters (I myself would ...

Re: Pathfinder: Anyone up for some Fantasy?

@The Professor: I'd prefer to only use the information on the Paizo reference page I posted. When they add those things (as they eventually will) then I think they'll be allowed in my game.

Re: Gundam Wing roleplayer wanted!

It's been so long since I've watched Gundam Wing! Still a huge fan of it of course (if my username hadn't hinted to that!)

What exactly were you looking to do specifically?

Re: Batman Beyond: Birth of Heroes

Heroes eh? Possibly other DC ones I assume? Albeit futuristic ones.

Re: Pathfinder: Anyone up for some Fantasy?

@Dae Mec: And that is just what I was thinking. A small group of 4-5 characters would be more suited to be a guild or mercenary company. At least with the guild idea, party members have that obligation on their shoulders to finish a job given to them by a higher up. Not that a party WOULDN'T do what...

Re: Pathfinder: Anyone up for some Fantasy?

@El_Gringo: I've used the Wizards Roller before. It works fairly well under some circumstances. If we could find one that could send the rolls to my email, that would be ideal. Otherwise I'm rolling dice on my end of the screen, haha! @The Professor: Oh it WILL happen. I like to model my worlds arou...

Re: Age of Heroes

Seems interesting.

I would like to know your thoughts on Spawn as a character choice, given that he is not DC or Marvel. If he's not allowable, might I reserve Logan (Wolverine) as my hero?

Re: The Clash of Realms

EDIT: Ah I see that now.

I had a better idea for one of the other sins, but it appears that's already been taken. I may have to pass on this in that case, sorry to have been a bother.

Re: Titans 2.0 Go!

I'm rather stuck on whom my character should be the child of. I had a few ideas, still very unsure of course and open to suggestion: Hawkgirl/Hawkman - For a more unique teen hero/villain. Different powers than others might have. Livewire - Again, a unique choice. Haven't seen many with electric pow...

Re: Titans 2.0 Go!

@InakoUchiha: Okay, I was just confused is all. I'll have to work on the character a bit. @CyberGlowfly: Not that I would have minded! I just didn't have that type of character in mind when I saw this roleplay. It's fine to have preferences for your character to be paired off with, it just didn't ha...

Re: Titans 2.0 Go!

@InakoUchiha: Gajeel Redfox? From Fairy Tail? I really don't think that would fit the character I would have created in any case.

Why would I want to create a character around a FC to pair with someone else? I'm confused...

Re: Pathfinder: Anyone up for some Fantasy?

I would love using actual dice provided I could find a dice roller that was fairly balanced online. I had toyed with the option of rolling stats for players, giving each of them a set to choose from and then performing rolls based upon their successes or failures. EX: Tomas the Paladin swings at the...
