Everett stood still in his tracks as his eyes darted to the source of the sound. He stared fixated on the person. "Of course they don't speak English." He groaned to himself before keeping quiet and trying to make out the language. "You understand him?" He muttered under his breath. A moment later he nodded to himself before raising his right hand slowly. He waved to the man and spoke. "Do you understand me?" He glanced around himself looking for anyone else. And so did the other entity.
"..." Everett was speechless as he stared at the city and the sky. To him it felt like he was in a movie or a dream. A shiver running down his spine he pulled off the mask, setting it to his side. He rubbed his eyes and shook his head with some form of hope that the world would return to normal. No luck befell him. "What." The first sound he made before looking around his surroundings. "Take us back." His voice grew bitter as he talked to himself. "What do you mean you can't take us back?" He growled before fishing out his phone and checking it. "Why did I even think I'd get service here..." Everett muttered put it back in his pocket. "... You'll be able to take us back eventually right?" He asks his voice growing weaker.
A deep breath and a sigh his hand reached down and pulled up the mask. "Do you even know where we are? Is this the future?" He asks staring up at the sky. "Well I suppose my guess is better than yours in this case. Did the king tell you to take us here?" His eyes gazed over the patterns in the star before descending slowly towards the city. "So it was an accident is what you're telling me. Well fucking hell, this isn't just a small one." He groaned momentarily as he started walking forward. "Let's hope they don't think I'm some form of evil alien. And hope there's someone who speaks some form of English or... Earth... Language..." As he started moving forward he glanced around. "Give me a heads up if someone is walking up on us." He whispers.
He glanced up at the sky for a moment before shaking his head and getting into the car. "I apologize for my untrusting nature..." His voice grew quieter as he removed the mask once inside the car and put it between his feet. "Honestly I have no clue where I am. Though considering all the facts I see before me it wouldn't surprise me if the people of this world can 'detect' me." He glanced out the window.
"I assume I've gotten myself into quite a situation..." He had started to feel this whole adventure might end up being the largest mistake he has made yet. Even though he blamed the other one for this trip. "It might be a day or two before I can leave under my own power if I'm truly that unwanted here. Can you tell me what exactly I stepped into?"
