Re: Knowledge of Other Beliefs

Unless you misread question number 4 Fallacy, then you believe that Paganism has something to do with Satanism. Wouldn't have expected that from you. You asked if I disagreed that Paganism has nothing to do with Satanism, to which I said no, which means I agree that it doesn't. It looks like you ev...

Re: Knowledge of Other Beliefs

1. Did you know that there were other belief systems than Abrahamic religions, Hinduism, Buddhism and Wicca? Yes, I realize that there exists more than four ideologies worldwide. 3. What do you think Pagans/Neopagans believe in? (if you arent one yourself) Not really sure. I think that it has, or a...

Re: VooDoo, too far or not far enough?

Macabre Legion wrote:Belief is key in most things, such as a voodoo doll. If you believe it'll work, then it will.

That's asinine.

Stop giving two bits about it, and it'll just be an inanimate object that someone will use to vent their frustration upon.

But that's pretty decent advice.

Re: Reincarnation: Possible?

@Fallacy Read more, and research it for yourself. Everyone, from all over the world, can't all be in on the conspiracy of acting out that they are reincarnated in some way. You're deliberately missing my points. Why does it have to be a 'conspiracy'? People's brains work in ways that they're able t...

Re: What makes you the most cross in RPs?

Please for the love of bitter sweet fuck don't call them a neko. I didn't intentionally pick a racial type crippled by living in a world not for them just so you can go 'Oh a catboy nyah', and expect to shake their paw without having a set of claws curled into your palm as they try to grip you. Wha...

Re: VooDoo, too far or not far enough?

Why would you even want to be friends with someone who thinks you 'stole' her boyfriend (a reprehensible notion) and that sticking into needles into a doll modeled after a person will hurt them?

Re: Reincarnation: Possible?

... there is nothing, no evidence, to support the Xian and Atheist claims of what happens when we die. The evidence that nothing happens when you die besides bodily decay is that there is no evidence otherwise. http://www.reversespins.com/proofofreincarnation.html This link shows of how a little bo...

Re: What makes you the most cross in RPs?

Inconsistency happens to the best of us, TW. Just the other day I was in a fight and neglected to acknowledge the fact that my opponent came in from the front of a shop, not the rear. This is not the result of a lack of skill, merely a lack of attention. People are caught up in what they want to do...

Re: What makes you the most cross in RPs?

I calmly disagree by saying a typical 'Good vs Bad' story isn't always shallow. Maybe not, but to me the epitome of shallow morality, thinking, and storytelling is to just simplify everything to: 'here are the bad guys -- they are bad. Here are the good guys -- they are good. Good guys defeat bad g...

Literally all of those points are disputable. Are you able to offer good evidence for any of them?

Re: What makes you the most cross in RPs?

This is just a pet-peeve, but I hate it when people say 'bad guys' and 'good guys' instead of antagonists and protagonists, respectively, for serious works. It just ends up making the story sound shallow and simplistic.

Re: Souls

Fallacy- Depends on what you see as evidence. It seems to me that the evidence I find factual alot of non-christians don't count it, but for me that is enough. If you are seriously looking for evidence and all you could check out creation.com Just a thought, they convinced me <shrugs> You can't jus...

Re: Creation vs. Evolution

Umm, everyone seemed to be confused by my past example with the dogs. I'll see if I can make it clearer: When the dogs loose the short haired gene (and mid haired gene), there is an overall loss of genetic information, no gain or evolution. And for a while that is fine, they don't need the extra in...

Re: Creation vs. Evolution

The human race seems to be deteriating, not evolving or getting better. More and more people are being subject to genetic disorders and every generation results in a loss of information. For example there are two dogs <> Each has a long haired gene * and a short haired gene #, they give birth to th...

I wasn't trying to be an ass. I was asking what you meant. I don't understand what you meant by that statement. Oh! Never mind. I just reread it again. I am a little off. It's getting late. Ah, I thought you were making fun of grammar/noun choice. Also, I wasn't asking you to give a definition that...

Re: Souls

My guy's job to define what a soul is? What do you mean 'my guy's'? Don't be an ass. As for the definition, I meant, what makes a soul? Okay so we have it being supernatural and immaterial. Is that the only 'ingredient' for being a soul? There are many things we can prove and disprove by simply lis...

Re: Souls

As I said above, we don't have the tools yet to really decide if souls exist or not. In the future years to come, we may develop new studies to really question this and provide evidence for it or against it. We don't have that right now since we can only really speculate. And who is to stay that Sa...
