Eh if you say so. You could still gain all that by attacking another mainland city-state, unless you intend to do this as a way of sending a message to the other gods that nothing can stop you, but this is your character, your army, your plans, so whatever you try to do is fine.

.. I think she is on an Island.. and although your a coastal city, you never had the need for a navy.. so this is just my view on it, you can still do it, but I dont think you will be able to step foot on her land as her navy would crush you on your way.
