I've discovered that I can't fit in with a PbP roleplaying style: It just doesn't work well for me. Therefore I am formally announcing my departure from RPGateway.
I'm going to be out intermittently for about a week. I should be able to post sometime in the middle, but I just wanted to notify anyone planning on interacting with Samuel during that time...

Just wanted to post here to say that I like the work that everyone is doing. The RP seems pretty active and consistent in terms of high quality... But I'm starting to regret choosing a White Knight though. I feel like it going to be and Tyce's jobs to stand around ominously and say cryptic things at...
I think I might have messed things up in the way I explained my post. I already mentioned it in a PM, but just clarifying things in case people wonder why a huge edit wreck develops tomorrow...
I somehow always manage to get attracted to your games RM, and this looks even better than the F/SN thing! Personally, I think this works best as 10 different RPs done in order (with events from the first ones altering history a bit for the next section and so on), but since that would be a logistic...
Definitely interested. Any chance of having a character who works for the police but as an independent agent (as in an actual detective), or does the career track necessarily for officers only?
Err... Vio-Lance. Just posting to say that I was planning on enlisting in Delta Squad and so my post reflected wandering into your room as a mix-up (or due to there only being like 2 Deltas). If you don't want this to be the case, say so, and i'll go back and edit the post.
Well, that was mortifying to read. I have a few explanations, but now I feel like garbage for typecasting, so you're probably right: servants only from now on.
Yes, but it's one deliberately left nondescript so as to represent the faceless masses/NPCs. I don't think he/she wants us writing our PCs like that...
This looks interesting... In the short time i've looked at it, i've already thought of a character concept! But i'll wait until a proper character goes up so that I know what you want from a character sheet, Incognito.
Posting another character concept post: A magus who attempts to refine his control over magic by seeking out other magii and defeating them in a straight up duel of magic. To the extent where he considers it dishonorable to actually try to personally fight any other human beings, or even fight magii...
Okay, back to the drawing board then, i'm sure I can figure out something better...
But I am still wondering how things will work out without villainous characters: they have a tendency to drive the plot forward, whereas good guys tend to be more reactionary in nature
In reference to the question about character personality: Well... We've got too many good guys. As much as I like a Rousseau-ish "Everyone is good, but fundamentally misunderstood" plot, I figure I ought to submit a downright nasty character: perhaps a genial, but ultimately immoral and gr...
