Re: The Gods of Pandeum

Like some eternal fire in a temple of the Zarathustrians this dynasty of roleplaying sputters on! Sorry, I just had to comment that I'm happy to see the Gods surviving in one form or another, it was always my favorite roleplay when I was on this site years ago, playing as the tempestuous and oh-so-h...

Re: Age of the Colossus

It makes sense. The kind of person who would join a band of mercenaries intent on facing eldritch horrors and certain death would probably not be a "people person." Also with the intros done, do we begin the banter in the chat or just pick it up post-by-post? If we're actually going to tel...

Re: Age of the Colossus: Fire-Side Stories

Wralandir - Blighted Woods - Kirkdale Abandoned Cabin, Hungry Friday - August 2 - 7961 - 3:11:07 AM Chanath Godeo : Hunter and Poet Chanath hadn't the heart for singing. More and more in traveling he'd lost much of the joy in music. Now a song was a tool, to be used to break a stone or blur one's t...

Wralandir ~ Cold Rock ~ Loch Morgh Mere Anarchy is Loosed Upon the World Thursday ~ January 8 ~ 7961 ~ 9:50:12 p.m. Chanath Godeo: The Bard Chanath had held closely to the floor as though it was his own mother. Re: Age of the Colossus

I posted on Thursday. The fact that Chanath may not actually be out of the building was left intentionally vague, as a testament to both the size and wrought-into-the-stone aspects of the fortress. He didn't leave the way he arrived, certainly.

Re: Age of the Colossus

I think a nautical romp would be fantastic, as well as the "gathering valuable scales/organs/poisons/etc" It's also totally different from our present situation, and definitely ups the "team" dynamic of keeping the ship afloat.

Wralandir ~ Cold Rock ~ Loch Morgh A Facsimile of Hell Thursday - January 8 - 7961 - 7:30:15 PM Chanath Godeo: The Taurian Bard So few poets came from the Northern Highlands, and why should they? Re: [OOC] Age of the Colossus

Quick question, are we breaking with tradition (read: people copying Tolkien) and having no predetermined strain between the relationship of Elves and Dwarves, or has something in the past made the already highly-traditional dwarves hold a grudge? Since we elves in this world are off the "leave...

Re: [OOC] Age of the Colossus

It's always been hit and miss with my character avatar pictures, and this one for Chanath is being particularly troublesome. I've tried cropping the image freshly over and over again, moving its location around, changing the format, and it refuses to stick. Obviously I'm doing something...

Re: Gods; A New Age

In the Deep Bosom of the Ocean Buried The Hall of Justice, Osialquienem Gairus led his party to the surface, where already there was too much noise for an otherwise austere and quiet part of the city. The Justicar were respectful people, but it was hard to tell, as all men tended towards animalism ...

Re: [OOC] Age of the Colossus

I'm ready (and had no opinion on the two beginning options, I could work with either). I certainly trust all of you to god-mod responsibly. Combat-wise, my character is more of a rush-to-help not rush-to-fight, so I'll generally be interacting more with the other players rather than directly combati...

Re: [OOC] Gods; A New Age.

Everyone is always convinced they live in the worst of all possible times in the worst of all possible worlds. On the more roleplay-relevent side of things, have we figured out which people are no longer with us? Also Saxious, I didn't ignore your letter to the Dendapim, it's just not going to arriv...

Re: Gods; A New Age

To Catch the Nearest Way The Avatar's Palace A young alchemist was bent over a set of vials. There was a persistent hissing from a kettle and the sound of crashing as his young daughter beat jovially on scattered metal pots. A day ago this room was filled with Alchemists, clambering over the pages....

Cry "Havoc!" The Perimeter, the Hills of Asphodel For a moment there was a breeze, as though a goddess himself had awakened him, or opened a window to the divine, letting a gust of wind to lighten the air of the mortal realm. It was a sudden silence and a sense of dread. He wavered, and n...

Re: [OOC] Gods; A New Age.

We can do that Ersatz, unfortunately I've got to get some food, so I'll have to delay my interaction until tomorrow.

I'm also not familiar with RPG Write, but then I'm not familiar with most of this sites resources.

Re: [OOC] Gods; A New Age.

I apologize in advance for my inability to write battle scenes. I'm a... Things They Carried, All Quiet on the Western Front war writer... I tend to get sick by the end of extended periods of violence... I'll make it up by showing you a montage of random scenes that have no immediate meaning, and do...
