Nah, that was the fireball he shot that she sensed. Dragons Tongue is an extremely close range attack, so she would see that one as she is already turned towards him from the fireball that he shot earlier.

It's alright. I was going to make the fight short since its in a school and Allen uses fire which is... not the best place to use it. Yep, his light would be extremely useful at blinding the opponent allowing him to either go invisible or blink away. Really, he is the perfect character at 'advancing in the opposite direction'. His abilities are useful. Blink is incredibly useful against a ranged character as it makes dodging, really, really easy. As long as the opponent has vision then his moves are pretty useful.
