Re: A Summer at Lake Kenforth

I understand Kaze. And I am sorry to split the time zones. My characters interactions were progressing a lot more fluidly and hardly had spaces of time. But the time I had gotten to the kitchen--no one had been interacting or talking no events were occurring so I just naturally thought that everyone...

Re: A Summer at Lake Kenforth

Yay! Congratulations! I remember the days when I was in active service and I was in ROTC, our honor guard was nothing short of extraordinary. I felt so proud when I brandished my saber. :D

Re: World War III: Legacy to End Wars

The character sheet is up. Its also bound to change as the roleplay progresses. Also, there is a lot of much needed information that details why this sets it apart from much of the other Rps.

Re: World War III: Legacy to End Wars

Greetings and welcome. I have read many of your questions--and as of this moment I am creating--what I feel feel to be a sufficient character template. Bromander Shepard, your question about "lazer guns and kinetic shield tech" first. I feel, that even though the techno logical barrier has...

Re: A Summer at Lake Kenforth

To be honest, Painkiller, I should have been more thorough--you see, it's more of a "part" than a whole roleplay. I believe people to be under the surmise that it is an entirely long, drawn-out story. If that is the case, then I perhaps haven't been wording myself as precisely as I had hop...

Re: Echo Legacy: Burdens of Honor

As I have stated before--this is your game and I will abide your rules. However Jag, I must add in my constructive and destructive criticisms as well. As is my right to do so. It is not entirely my fault the way my character became a failure. Your use of "hyper space jumping" had nothing t...

Re: Echo Legacy: Burdens of Honor

I certainly hope it was nothing I said. I was just going by with what I know, and what makes the most logical sense. Like I said, at the end of the day, its your game. I'm just the gamer. If you make a decision I don't agree with, I'm a big boy I can handle it. But if it was something that I mention...

Re: Echo Legacy: Burdens of Honor

Miles directs every junior NCO and can have direct command over any enlisted soldier that is a Marine period. It is the highest enlisted rank (I'm assuming Us Military because there was no set procedure as to how the military was actually set up, just that it was simple 'divided' in to the Navy and ...

Re: Echo Legacy: Burdens of Honor

You could in theory do that. I'm not the game master here. However, Miles would still more than likely hold seniority due to his sheer service record and combat analysis. He's referred to honorably as "Iron Mike". In Marine Jargon, Iron Mike is a term that simply put--means he passed his p...

Re: Echo Legacy: Burdens of Honor

Welcome back Korrye. We missed you. :) Realistically, every army through out history has inducted a draft at some point or another. War is a virtual numbers game. Doesn't matter how high tech you are, if you don't have the manpower to fill the lesser roles, your army is going to lose the fight becau...

Re: A Vow of Black and White

Interesting! Thanks Mute!

Well, sincve this is closed down for now--would anyone be interested in a WW2 era roleplay? It will be mostly based around a handful of characters, particularly mine which will be a Nazi German soldier.

Re: Echo Legacy: Burdens of Honor

Well, unless you know where he is or when he will next respond, then no, I don't expect you to know that. It was a question to the general public.

Re: A Vow of Black and White

I'm kinda back. My cancer has receded a bit but its still not gone. I've been moving and helping my dad move. Imagine only being able to use one arm and lifting/ carrying 200lbs of stuff at a time. xD That'll be me.

That's fine. :) Dyson REALLY doesn't care except when you step out of line when it comes to the conduct of a uniformed soldier. Then he'll curb stomp ya.

Re: Echo Legacy: Burdens of Honor

Congrats Korrye! :D Agafan: Its fine to joke. If you read my post, Miles makes fun of the Navy all the time, yet its a particular humor. He's not really a joking guy. The rest of the Marines are. But they know when he enters the room its all serious unless he cracks about the Navy or better yet, the...
