Re: The Waiting Roleplay

I'm incredibly interested! This sounds like something right up my alley! Are you still looking for someone to do this with?

Re: Looking for a roleplay partner(s)!

I'd be interested in doing a good girl/bad boy type of thing. Maybe crime themed? Perhaps, murder? Perhaps, detective/suspect?

Literate, modern, gritty & realistic

I'm interested in starting an RP about life in a brothel. Wait, wait, wait, hear me out! Obviously, we all know the purpose of a brothel, but the sex is NOT the point of this. I repeat: The sex is NOT the point. In fact, I'd prefer if it was simply implied. Tastefully. Anyway, here's my idea: Every ...

Re: It's the End of the World As We Know It

Is this RP still up and running? If so, is there room for another character?

Re: Partner Search: Looking for someone who can handle me!

Okay, I just got an idea. One that is still in zygote stage, but could be much fun. I don't want to give away too much because I like the idea of the writer finding out as the character finds out. I think the reactions are more realistic that way. However, bear with me here. Scenario: My guy hires y...

Re: Partner(s) Search

I quite like the idea of post-apocalyptic pirates. I've got an amazing mental picture in my mind right now. Aside from that, post-apocalyptic RP is something that I'm really interested in. I'm struggling while browsing through the open RPs, though, because nothing exactly suits me. Perhaps I should ...

Re: Let's write stuff!

I might be interested in partnering up. I'm also interested in post-apocolyptic scenarios. I'm not too good at fantasy stuff, but I like to think my characters are realistic and deep. Granted, I'm new to the site, so I don't have anything to prove that I'm not utterly horrible at this. Did you have ...

Re: Partner Search: Looking for someone who can handle me!

I like the idea of a new island discovery... at least for my guy. I was toying with the idea of playing a guy hired to scope out the island, possibly a scientist or ex-military, hired by a rich guy with plans for a top secret development. Or maybe even sent to relocate or destroy the indigenous popu...

Re: Partner Search: Looking for someone who can handle me!

I have absolutely no problem playing a male lead. It kinda comes naturally. Since it has been so long since I've roleplayed, I almost want to do babysteps. I think I'm best at realistic. I might be up for a survival type scenario (desert/island/jungle/blizzard/whatever or post-apocalyptic or zombies...

Re: Partner Search: Looking for someone who can handle me!

Do you have anything specific in mind? Do you have a certain sort of character/genre/etc you prefer playing? I'm very similar to you in the sense that I typically build as I go with a general framework of an idea. I do the same with characters. I intentionally keep character profiles minimal. Just l...

Re: Returning to forums (New to gateway)

It feels weird to welcome someone when I, myself, am new as well, but welcome! I am also rusty with the roleplaying, but I look forward to getting back into it. What sort/genre/etc of roleplay do you prefer? Personally, I like the character driven, realistic stuff best.

Re: Literate Partner Search!

I can echo almost everything you said in your partner search. Sometimes I wonder if I'm too picky. Granted, it has been a very very long time since I've roleplayed, so I am a bit on the rusty side. However, when I do roleplay, I have to say that playing normal, everyday people is my favorite. I can'...

This is my awkward introduction

You know that kid that comes into school in the middle of a school year having just moved to town? The kid that shows up suddenly to your fourth period English class, looking around the classroom with nervousness masked with brave stoicism as he waits for the teacher to acknowledge him to find out w...
