Re: Body modification. Good, bad, indifferent?

Honestly, I'm indifferent. It's not up to people to appear attractive or pretty to me, and I really don't feel that I am allowed to judge people who want to change their body. As long as the choice is theirs, I don't care what they do.

Re: Good Guys and Bad Guys

My guess is that there's multiple reasons why the leaders or masterminds of the different factions almost always come off as completely incompetent. Firstly, the lack of evil masterminds. It's almost certain that when you go to look at a roleplay with two opposing sides, one is described as good, an...

Re: Home

Hey there, I submitted a character yesterday, and I just wanted to say that it still needs some work. I haven't been able to find a picture that fits yet, so until I do, would it be allright to just add a written description?

Hope I get accepted, this rp looks really promising. :)

Re: Favourite Philosophers

Ever since I got a top grade for talking about Kierkegaard and Machiavelli at my philosophy final, I've had a soft spot for those two, I was also very fascinated by Plato's Allegory of the Cave. But that might be because our teacher used The Matrix to explain it to us. He was very flexible in his te...

Re: Friendship

An unhealthy relationship is one that drains you of emotional energy. I remember reading a book a while back, and stumbling onto the expression "emotional vampire", which, in short, is a person who lets out so much negativity that it drains those around them of positive feelings. I was fri...

Re: Comedy and the line

Oh gosh. (Warning: personal opinion incoming) Honestly, I think comedians can go too far. I think everyone can go too far. There's a lot of jokes I find repulsive and sickening, and not at all funny. Dead baby jokes, rape jokes, things along those lines. I don't think something is funny just because...

Re: nice guys finish last

So long as we're turning the board into reddit check out this example of one poor losers descent into utter friend zone induced madness What do you mean so as long as we're turning the board into reddit. This will probably come off as really aggressive but just a heads up, if you don't like the con...

Re: nice guys finish last

That's pretty extreme but if you ever see a really cheesy disney movie, or a chick flick I noticed this pattern where the main character is dating a guy that is a haughty narcissistic stuck up jock, and she ends up falling for the geeky shy best friend who worships her from afar. I disagree with yo...

Re: nice guys finish last

I'm guessing that you're asking whether or not we agree with this guy, and I've gotta say, I do. Completely. I find these self proclaimed 'nice guys' absolutely repulsive. I gag and throw up in my mouth every time I meet one of them. And that's not because I have a problem with nice people. I love t...

Re: Killer Dog

Get the dog catcher in. Or someone with authority or anything like that. Don't kill a dog because you think that it's going to continue to kill cats or eventually injure a child. I completely second what Lifecharacter is saying, even though it sounds like you've already spoken with the owners. I'd s...

Re: Looking for a Someone to Share a World with!

Could this possibly turn into something for a small group? If not, I'll back off, but this sounds pretty interesting, so I thought I'd at least ask.

(Also: Doctor Who, yay!)

Re: Return of Camelot

Hello. I'm assuming you're asking for posts. I'd like to write one, but well... If she just walked up to them right now it would seem terribly convenient. And not in the cool way, so I was just waiting for someone else to write something first.

Re: What makes you the most cross in RPs?

Oh my god, Clint Eastwood. Cherry on top of a lovely day. I once experienced a variation of the previous two things, on a different site though. There was a minor RP forum, where I hung out quite a lot, with different rps and so on. In each and every single one, a certain person joined, with the exa...

Re: What makes you the most cross in RPs?

I think everybody hates that. You'd be lucky to find a RP that actually concludes. Something I've come to really loathe is when the GM abandons the play, and the players are left on their own. It's happened to me quite a few times, leading me to always check the statistics of the GM behind what I'm ...

Re: Bronies: Let's Hear Everyone Thoughts

Bronies. What I honestly think about them? I'm not sure. I've never been interested in the show myself, since Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni already taught me how cool having friends is, so I haven't seen any of it. I've seen the figures (can you call them action figures?) in the shops and such, but neve...

Re: Van Helsing Academy: Warriors of Daylight

Of course you can join up. ^^

I'll shoot you a pm, and we can work something out. You can also just put up a character that you think would fit in, and I'll be more than happy to take a look.

Re: Van Helsing Academy: Warriors of Daylight

Well, as the introduction states, a werewolf only changes when the moon is full. Someone who can become a wolf at their own will is a shapeshifter. Should a vampire bite a person, there are three possible outcomes. One: They die from loss of blood. Two: They contract the vampire's illness through th...
