Kyle wiped down the counters as he always did this time of day. It was the first day of summer vacation and he was bumped up to taking orders, cashiering and answering phones this year. He was looking forward to not having to do dishes this summer. The place was still kinda empty as it was just the first day of summer and business didn't pick up for a few days. Also it was only noon so they had just opened. As his parents got the back end of the restaurant ready the phone rang. Kyle got it on the first ring."Bates' Pizza, how can I help you." He answered in his 'customer service' voice. The voice on the other end sounded like any other customer and he took the simple order of a large all meat and a medium Hawaiian. "Okay that'll be $21.50 and it'll be ready in about 45 minutes." He told the customer before running the credit card through. The restaurant didn't do delivery so all of the call in orders were take-out. Kyle leaned on the counter, his blue hair falling in front of his right eye as he didn't take the time to spike up his mohawk today so it all kinda flopped to the right side.
