How to edit a discussion

Ok, I wrote some expanded information for my faction in a friend's rp and put in the discussion tab (I started the topic). Later I found a few typos and some info I wanted to expand on. However I can't find the option to edit the post. Can someone tell me where to locate it?

Took a bit of work and I appreciate the input from Revenant and Martin which helped out a lot (Thanks guys). I've submitted the character for inspection. I'll work out formatting and images sometime tomorrow as I've pushed my limit tonight.

Naturally I logged back in, was taken to the main page but any attempt to move anywhere else, even to my message box logged me out. So I went to bed...
