It annoys me when people make assumptions. I laugh almost every time I speak and grin almost as often, though my normal smile apparently looks like a pout. I care about animals, full stop. Within this I count humans, because we separate ourselves too much. I find it hard, almost impossible to understand when people must do things for something in return. Or when they say "They wouldn't do it for you" What does this matter? It's not about them returning a favour, it's about you doing something because another living being asked for your help. We need each other, this has never been more or less true. Compassion is the greatest power, the best form of happiness: knowing you've made some tiny difference. Not wealth or possession, just simply knowing you've carried out your DUTY as a human being: to love. Some have called me a push over, but they don't understand the significance of compassion. And you know what? That's not their fault, their only human.
