I have to agree with that. What little I know of Japanese honorifics suggest they are very context sensitive, and I'm going to take a wild guess and say most of us haven't studied the language enough to use them in any way that doesn't seem superficial.

Hey I got a quick question for our GM. Was there an exact date that the first awakening happened on? I just want to know for filling in some flavor for Bardon's history. And since were talking about character relations, I've been thinking of also making bardon pull double duty as the school guidance...
