How to write an interview
An interview is a survey with the aim of finding out interesting, new and exciting things about and from the interviewee. Besides being a form of presentation, the interview is also a research method.
If you want to reproduce interviews, two forms are available: the report and the wording interview. While in the wording interview there are questions and answers, in the report the author interweaves quotes from the interview with further information or a story. A report is also referred to as a constructed interview. The author inserts the quotes in the form of direct and/or indirect speech.

Both forms of presentation have their strengths and weaknesses. One strength of the report is the possibility to include additional researched information within the text. Furthermore, the report form enables the narration of a story.
