Re: LORE: The Heroes Legacy Q&A

For a chat RP, that might be the case but on a forum where people like to write posts longer than 500 words and really get in-depth with descriptions and figurative devices, the RP simply moves too fast without an order in place. And at the moment, I see people who aren't online or are unable to wri...

Re: LORE: The Heroes Legacy Q&A

Precisely why we need an order of sorts. So that people have time to write something decent and the plot doesn't run away while they're getting it straight.

Re: LORE: The Heroes Legacy Q&A

Another good reason to establish a post order is that people like DuBois are going to get left behind.

Re: LORE: The Heroes Legacy Q&A

Might I suggest we establish a post order of some sort so we're not responding sporadically to individual posts, thus slowing it up and confusing the flow for those that follow?

Re: LORE: The Heroes Legacy Q&A

As fun as multi-charactering can be, I think I'll just stick to one. Mostly because I'm expecting to get a lot of work when I get back to Uni.

Re: LORE: The Heroes Legacy Q&A

If it were me, my character would be a handsome, dashing sort of fellow with a sabre and a sharp burgundy jacket. Definitely roguish though. :P x

Re: LORE: The Heroes Legacy Q&A

Psh. You'll have to convince the satyr to check for them. He might just let you walk into them for a laugh. Pallas is not the most amiable of folk.

Re: LORE: The Heroes Legacy Q&A

Oop. Completely missed the OOC. Howdy and hello to you all.

Now, where to put my character in your lovely little party. I figure I could fill the rogue-esque archetype. What do y'all think?

Re: Progress (A Medieval Fantasy with a hint of Steampunk)

Well, I pretty much have my character fleshed out. Waiting on the RP now. :D

Re: Progress (A Medieval Fantasy with a hint of Steampunk)

That could work, My guard character could know the palace, and offer to get her in if she helps him take down the source of the magi-tech.

Re: Progress (A Medieval Fantasy with a hint of Steampunk)

I'm speechless. This looks incredibly promising, and I'd be very interested about joining up. Character wise, I'm sort of entertaining the idea of playing a Watch-captain within the city, who feels somewhat disenfranchised by the fact that the new technology has basically rendered his job meaningles...

Re: XavierDantius32 vs Gasmask

Cai smirked as the paladin grabbed his blade, finding the man's descent into desperation rather amusing. As the fist closed around the double-edged arming sword, he brought his arm back across his body, angling the blade into the man's palm, slicing it to the bone. As the pommel clanged against his ...

Re: XavierDantius32 vs Gasmask

The blast of flame lashed out, forcing Cai to recoil, bringing up his left arm to shield his face from the heat, his vambrace deforming slightly against the whisp's ferocious heat, but protecting his eyes from any serious damage. As he pulled away from the spell, he sidestepped from it's path, refle...

Re: XavierDantius32 vs Gasmask

The momentum from the release of the chain allowed Cai to quickly flick the long spear, assisted by the weight of the heavy chain, over his right shoulder and into the soft emptiness of the open sky. He lamented the loss of it's considerable reach, but he had more pressing matters on his mind. The p...

Re: XavierDantius32 vs Gasmask

As the chain slashed out, Cai took advantage of his low centre of gravity to hurl himself backwards into one of the tower's merlons, bracing his back against the crumbling stone as he thrust his spear forward into the path of the chain. His armour clattered, his back-plate deforming uncomfortably ag...

Re: XavierDantius32 vs Gasmask

The wild swing sent Cai ducking low, his eyes flicking to his opponent's feet. The attack had shifted his guard, leaving him on shaky footing, the weight of the hammer pulling his centre of gravity up and outward. Capitalizing on this vulnerability, Cai struck low with the spear, the tip sailing bet...

Re: XavierDantius32 vs Gasmask

As the Paladin hurtled forward, breath billowing from his mouth like a bull, Cai struck. His left leg snapped forward like a bear-trap, the pointed toe of his boot connecting with the rim of his helmet, sending the steel bowl hurtling up at the charging man's face. Cai had timed the kick to interrup...
