Pom purred at the sound of Luciâs voice. She paid no mind to the words he said. She did stop her purring before she got too close to him. Pom couldnât let him hear that now. Her smile grew as she saw him look at her
heels. They were rather lovely. However, her eyes narrowed when he looked off to the side. She flexed her fingers as she took a couple more steps closer to him.
âLuci, I know you saw me. It isnât polite to ignore a princessâŠyou should admire the rest of my outfit as well,â she said before she placed both her hands on the wall with Luci in between. She leaned in closer to him, allowing some of her hair to fall forward towards him.
âI know you like being called Luci as well, maybe even love itâŠâ she paused as she heard the music start,
âAnd if we donât start dancing soon, I will make you dance with me for the entire night when you attend my ball, or I can ask Snow to restart this song as well if we donât get to dance to at least half of it.â Her smile was playful and a bit mischievous as she straightened her arms out. Next, she took a hand off the wall and held it out to Luci. She wiggled her fingers at him as she waited for him to take her hand.

âThe honor is mine, Ursula,â she said before she took his hand just as the music started. Snow danced in silence for a few moments as she took in her surroundings. Her eyes returned to Ursula after, and she gave him a soft smile.
âI am glad you are here with me, and I do want to remind you that we can leave early if you wish,â she said. Her gaze returned to the crowd. Amusement filled her eyes as she saw Pom-Pom had Lucifer trapped. When her gaze returned to Ursula, her eyes were still filled with amusement.
âRemind me to introduce you to Pom-Pom before we leave. She is my only other friend. I should warn you though that when she doesnât get her way, she can be a menace. Pom actually wore me down until I taught her how to dance years agoâŠI am glad she did as she is a wonderful addition to my life,â she paused as she looked over Ursulaâs face once more,
âJust as you are, Ursula.âSnow was glad she met Ursula. It had been fun to live with her seven dwarfs in the castle on the beach, but they were gone often. They were thieves. It was how they helped make sure Snow had all she needed when she couldnât rely on her family after her mother passed. Her father forgot he had children when his wife passed. He hadnât even cared that Snowâs sister wanted to harm her for being the fairest of them all.
