Mercenary Vs. Jago(Gwinguser)

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby Mercenary on Mon Aug 07, 2006 3:23 pm

Arena: Large concrete slab. An old airfield
Weapons: None. Hand to Hand.

Gwing User's intro was lost in scroll and could not be recovered, but he is playing the character "Jago".

The Mercenary , as he was called, was a large, yet lithe man. Standing at 6'2 and weighing in at 220lbs, his form carried a sleek, yet strong appeal. He crossed the tarmac in a slow stride, the sound of his combat boots being the only thing to announce his presence. The wind caught a wisp of his shoulder length black hair, blowing it back. With a smile, he shifted his right foot in front of himself, bringing his body into a "L-stance". His hands raised, palms open and even height with his eyes. His hands were pressed forth about a foot and a half from his face. His right foot elevated to touch only the toe of his jungle combat boot to the ground. He wore no shirt, so his battle scarred body was revealed. His pants were jungle camoflauge ripstop BDU pants. "Well...let's get this over with.." He said with a smile. Today, Jago would learn a little Muay Thai...<end>

-Jago nodded at his opponent. Quickly he ran at his opponent, his footsteps light and almost unheard. The distance between the two combatants quickly closed up and as it did Jago slowed down and eventually came to a stop when reaching striking rage of Mercenary, running merely to get the fight started quicker. When he did reach striking range of Mercenary, he quickly sidestepped to his right, Mercenary’sleft, and brought both his arms up in a classic style boxing block with his fists just above his forehead, his shoulders lifted and the tips of his elbows at about mid ribcage. Jago ducked down and planting his left leg, brought his right knee out towards to the back of Mercenary’s left knee to thus knock him off balance.-

The Mercenary watched as Jago ran toward him. His eyes carefully studied the movements of Jago's hips as he ran, and it was when he shifted to take the side step that The Mercenary moved. When The sidestep was taken to The Mercenary's left, he countered by stepping to his right while pivoting in the direction of his opponent, keeping him in front of him. When Jago went low to throw his knee strike, he would find that his target had simply moved out of the initial strike zone, and was no longer reachable. This would have put Jago directly infront of him, performing this knee strike. The Mercenaryresponded immediately by pushing off his back left leg and bringing forth his right knee in a strike aimed to slam into the facial area of Jago, taking advantage of his low position. His left fist snapped downward in a jab, aiming to strike jago in the soft area right between his right shoulder and his neck. <end>

* GWingUser With Jago’s knee hitting nothing but air he set it back down on the ground. Now head on with Mercenary’s right knee, headed for Jago’s face, and his left fist in between Jago’s shoulder and neck, he tensed up his arms, which had already been in front of his face in a boxer style defense. He pushed his legs against the ground, and with his left forearm, parried Mercenary’s right knee to the left, which would be Mercenary’s right and parried Mercenary’s left fist to the left also, which would be Mercenary’s right. He brought his arms back up to a boxer style defense. With the momentum in which he was getting up, Jago lifted his right knee from the ground, and brought it up in a diagonal angle to the left, which would be Mercenary’s right, to Mercenary’s now wide open left ribcage.

The Mercenary 's knee struck the forearm. When he felt that he had hit something other than a face, he put his right foot down in a swift stomping motion. Out of reflex he instantaneously brought forth his left knee in with the intent of slamming it into Jago's stomach. However, he met Jago's right knee on the way and the two collided together. His fist had been parried, but Jago was so quick to bring his hands back into his regular stance that he probably didn't realize that he placed The Mercenary's left fist between his own gaurd. The Mercenary retaliated with a fierce backhand that sought to strike the base of Jago's chin. The right hand remained waiting in it's original position.

* GWingUser Jago realized his mistake just as his right knee collided with The Mercenary’s own left. Thinking quickly, Jago slightly shifted his guard to his left, which would be Mercenary’s right. He simultaneously moved his left and right arms to the left, thus his left arm would make contact with Mercenary’s right to move it to the left, or Mercenary’s right, at the same time this would cause Mercenary’s left fis

(Cut, but I can understand what he's trying to do.)

* GWingUser Jago brought his right arm downwards, like an arm wrestling move, so his elbow would be outward facing the right, which wold be Mercenary2019s left, with his palm facing the ground, unballing his fist to thus grab The Mercenary2019s left wrist, and swiftly he leaned foreward some, and with his elbow already facing outward he moved it in a 201cC201d motion his right elbow moved swiftly towards the right side of Mercenary

(I'll respond ASAP, I need to go to work.)

The Mercenary's backhand had been thwarted and the Jago sought to seize his wrist. It seemed as though the ninja warrior was growing desperate. Since the intent of Jago was to strike the mercenary's right side by using his own right elbow, that would mean he was going to turn his hips all the way and expose his back by means of a 90 degree turn. The Mercenary jerked his right arm outward, removing it from the potential grasp while he lowered his center of gravity by swiftly crouching.

The Mercenary stepped forward, guiding his left foot toward the outside of his opponent while turning his hips and extending his left arm outward. This would not only carry his body around the backside of Jago, but also carry his right side so close to Jago that his elbow strike would land with barely any force, due to a lack of room to move.

Now the time had come to steal this man's breath away. The Mercenary's left arm curled, aiming to lasso around the neck of jago while his right arm threw a hard low hook toward Jago's right kidney. The moment of judgement was drawing near...
