Midnight vs anybody

The wind blows across the field making the grass sway side to side as a lone warrior sits in the middle of a field on one knee with his sword out the end on the ground as he waits for an opponet. He wears white robes with black trim. On his right breast he bears a symbol that says hes from the dragon clan. Under his robes he wears a pair of black cloth pants with the same symbol on his red belt and a pair of black leather shoes. He himself is 5'10 tall muscular with deep red eyes. He has short spiky black hair and a scar over his right eye. His sword is 5' long and a bout a foot wide (you know from one bladed side to the oposite side). The bladed side goes from a constent curve from the hilt to the top of the blade and the other side is perfectly straight from hit to top. On the hilt there is dragon scales that go up onto the blade but don't cover the sharp edge. In the scales is a dragon eye that is closed. The handle of the blade is steel wraped in leather for grip.

Soft foot steps begin to echo through the field as Gabriel walks towards the bowed soldier. A small smile crosses his lips as he sees the massive sword. It's been a long time since he's had a hand to hand battle. Time to sharpen his skills. He stops about three feet from Midnight and holds his staff up right. He bows to midnight.
"Looks like you're ready for a fight."
With a flip of the bo it's held in both of his hands with the left hand higher up from the ground than the right, showing that he's left handed.

Silently the warrior gets up holding his sword idly as he says, "My name is Midnight," Then he suddenly slides his left foot back and grabs the handle of his sword with his other hand right over left holding it straight out on his left side, "Prepare to die." Midnight just stands there waiting for Gabriel to make the first move.

Gabriel smiles as the large man speaks of death. Gabriel bows again to him before speaking.
"My name is Gabriel, and I just wish a spar, I have done nothing to deserve death."
Gabriel returns to his full height still gripping the staff before his eyes go cold. The warmth drains out of them almost instantly as he prepares for battle.

Now he looks at midnight through warrior's eyes. No feeling. No remorse. He tucks the cross around his neck into his shirt and a small smile flips across his lips as he becomes poised to strike.

He suddenly pushes his left foot sending him launching towards Midnight. He is fast. Very fast. He's not big so his hits won't count for much, but he'll get more than midnight.

Midnight sees this and charges forward using the strength that is required to swing his sword to launch himself into a flying tackle at his opponet.

OOC :: Sorry midnight, but I would like this to be an actually turnbased fight. Which requires atleast a paragraph describing your actions.

Now, if you would enjoy a speed fight, I would be more than pleased to rip your head off.
