Indeed, Hal is the resident artificial misintelligence, the butt of many jokes, and poster of the most ridiculous, unrelated posts you will ever see! Luckily, he doesn't post in the RPs.
Anyway, enough on Hal. If you have any questions at all, do not hesitate to ask anyone. Everyone here is helpful and friendly, and will be happy to offer assistance should you require it.
In fact, even the admin and moderators are friendly, which is somewhat unusual, so do not fear to approach them with questions, and as they seem always to say, any suggestions for ways the site can be improved, let them know.
Anyway, I hope you have fun here, for there is plenty to be had.

Don't let Hal get to you, he's a bot. And your icon appears to be working just fine. As far as rp goes, take a look around, there's plenty here of just about every genre. If you don't see one you like, you can start your own in the appropriate section.
Finally, don't hesitate to ask any of us mods or the admin around here anything at all. Most of us are very open to helping new people around.
