This tax does not apply to Colony leaders or other government officials. If you're not 100% if you have to pay this tax, ask me before you are forced to suffer any consequences. Now on to the actual tax information:
Due to increasing demand for residency in space, over population has become a concern. In light of this possible crisis, a new tax is in effect for ALL colonies, including the MO-V Asteroid colony. Specific MO-V Asteroid Colony details listed further below.
Any new residents OR visitors MUST pay a 250,000 credit tax. For those who claim residency in the colonies, this will be a once per year tax and no other visitor or residency fee applies unless specifically stated. For Visitors, 250,000 credits pays for one month's worth of unlimited transit between the colonies and between any of the colonies and earth. For those in business, a deal can be worked out with the business for people who need to ship back and forth frequently.
Opposing rebels, opposing political parties, and opposing political party supporters, who enter the colonies for brief periods of time must pay fees of 500,000 credits upon entry, per entry. If they do not comply, more drastic measures at the discretion of the Colony Leaders or the Global Colony Leader may be applied. This includes visits from Earth's officials unless previously cleared by General Sin.
From now on, every bay in all the colonies, including private ones, will use already existing sensors to relay information back to central stations scattered all across each colony. Every resident or visitor who has paid their fine must carry around a passport card that will be scanned to gain access into the colonies, which verifies their payment.
Anyone attempting to enter the colonies without payment will be fined a substantially higher amount of money. If they do not comply, measures will be taken to ensure that ALL their assets are seized. Slavery is the only option available for those caught with insufficient funds and assets to pay.
MO-V: Sudara Okami, currently running for election of the MO-V colony, will also be waived from these expenses and regulations for now. However, those who wish to visit or reside in the MO-V colony will be regulated under the same policies as the rest of the colonies.
A list will be made here of people who need to pay, people who have paid, and date they have paid along with details of their payment.
