Zatani smiled at him trying to think of the right word to use. She was happy he was learning to speak so quickly. "You want me to teach you? Teach you what?"

He gave her a look that said," Crap" as he tried to think of the word. He'd hear it plenty of times on tv. But for some reason it was hard to get out.
"Speak?," he said almost questioningly. He tried it slowly in a scentence. "Teach...me...to...speak."
Yeah, that sounded right.

She looked at him for a moment then gave him a hug. She would be more then happy to teach him. "Ok! I will! So do you want to start here?"

He looked quite surprised when she hugged him. He'd show other people affection before, but they'd never show it back. He stared at her for a moment before her question registered in his head. He then nodded.
"Start," He repeated.

Zatani gave Hikaru a smile then tapped on the monkey bars. "These are called monkey bears." She said looking at him to make sure he understood what she was saying.

He pointed to the monkey bars.
"Monkey bars."
He seemed proud of himself, but then pointed to the swingset, then the slide, then the bathroom. He repeated Monkey Bars for each one of them.

She laughed at his enthusiasm then pointed to each of the objects. "That is a swing set, that is a slide, and that is a bathroom." She said looking at him to make sure he understood.

"Swingset, slide, bathroom,"He repeated. "Monkeybars."
He pointed to each object to make sure he was getting it right. It was a tiny bit harder than he thought.

Zatani smiled then clapped proudly trying to motivate him. "You are doing great! Now, grass." She said pointing at the green on the ground.

Hikaru was happyer than he had been in a long time. He jumped down from the bars and motioned for her to follow.

She laughed at his reaction then climbed off of the monkey bars as he motions for her to follow him. She looks at him with wandering eyes at what he was planning. "Yes?"

He gave her a grin and covered her eyes, pushing her to an unknown location.
"Special," He said. Another word he'd learned from the TV.
It didnt take long to get there, but he kept his hands over her eyes for a few minutes more.

With Hikaru covering her eyes she giggled at the thought of not knowing what he was up to and she liked it that he was going to show her a surprise. With a smile she looked straight ahead with her eyes closed. "Come on. What is it?"

He removed his hands from her eyes and watched to see what her reaction would be. He'd somehow gotten her into the abandoned school next to the park. They were in what looked like an art room. On the concrete floor were briliant colorfull chalk drawings. Hikaru walked over to his favorite and ponited to it. It was was a picture of him and a little blond girl.

Zatani looked around at the art room with a confused look but she was smiling. She thought it was pretty but didn't know where they were. She looked around at the art utnil Hikaru pointed to one specifically. She walked over to it taking a closer look. "Wow, that looks just like you. What is it about?"

He opened his mout to reply, but didnt quite know how to say it.
"Eto...,"he started. He knew more japanese than he did english. It didnt help him much though.

She tilted her head to him. She didn't know Japanese at all and wondered what he said. "That is you isn't it? Was she a former master of yours?" She asked smiling but then slowly she became sad wondering what could have happened.

"Hai," He said with a nod. Surely she understood that. He felt a bit odd showing someone this place, but he felt Zatani could be trusted. He pointed to the picture of the girl and said," Yuya."

She nodded her head at his first word looking to the ground. She wish he knew more english so that he could tell her what happened. Then he said another word as he pointed to the picture. She looked back at the picture then to him. "Her name is Yuya?"
