Rewritten

Places/Contribute to the World!

At the end of the tale comes "happily ever after". But what if there's more to the stories than just that? What if the tales we knew could be changed, REWRITTEN...

Hello, everyone :) In this topic, you will be able to view the many places of the world and even add places of your own. They can be small things like taverns and houses, or large areas such as mountains, forests, and entire kingdoms. Hopefully, this will allow for more interaction during the roleplay, and will inspire more creativity, goals for characters, and events.

Image

Before creating your place, it would be an extremely wise decision to read the Places Tab first, as some of the instructions you will find here may not make sense if you don't...
Once understanding everything, you can post your idea for a place here in this thread. It is required that you have a title for your place, and a description of some sort. You must also include where in the five zones your place is located, or if it resides in another dimension. (or alternatively, if it IS another dimension.) Pictures would help TREMENDOUSLY, but are not necessary.

I will be posting an example of a place below. It will actually be used in the roleplay, and your characters are free to interact in it once this roleplay starts. If you have an idea for a place you'd like to see included in this roleplay, by all means, don't be shy :)

The Dancing Dragon is an inn and a pub located just outside of the forest of the rural south. Many people, young and old, come to feel the warmth that the tavern provides. With enchanting music, warm fires and ice cold tankards of ale, it is sure to give anyone a good time, if only for a night. However, don't let the quaintness of the pub fool you; many roguish types lurk inside. As well as good food, dirty gambling, wanted criminals, vicious bribes and brutal brawls are sure to be on the menu in this place. If entering inside, it'd be wise to bring caution (and perhaps a weapon or two...)

Dark and foreboding for but the most adept of survivalists, The Hangman's Forest is full to the brim with horrifying creatures that would rather kill or eat rather than talk and gnarled trees that trip and grabs at unsuspecting passerby if they get too close. It is not a good place to be, as the howl of werewolves and the crackle of witches can clearly be heard at night. There is a good reason to enter these lands, however, as many legends are said to inhabit the vast forest, and games are indeed plentiful there...

Stout and well built, this small cottage are empty from dawn to dusk in most of the times, only inhabited by its owner at night. From it's chimney smell the mingled and a surprisingly pleasant smell of burning wood and delicious smelling meat stew and from its back posh the strong smell of blood can be noticed. Expertly made, the interior has a great bed of wood and furs, a sturdy table of wood with its strongly made chairs and finally a massive chest of buckled iron and mahogany, no doubt hiding some valuable... If you are fool enough to enter its proprietor, of course.

In the northernmost point of the region sits Castle Meridian. The home of Prince Eric and Princess Ariel, as well as the region's sea-traders, fishermen, pirates, and sailors, sits atop a small island just off the coast. The mainland is connected with a large draw-bridge, reaching to the town square. This can be pulled apart at any time to allow ships to float under, or to deter invasion by way of land This kingdom is not on the mainland, and by all laws is not governed by either the East or West. It is ruled by Prince Eric's father, the King. Meridian boasts the greatest navy in all the land, and also an alliance with Atlantica, the home of the Merpeople.
All hail John Rzeznick!

Prince Eric's pride and joy, and the fastest ship in Meridian, The Melody of the Sea is a sight to behold. This is Eric's personal ship. Each and every member of the crew Eric would trust with his life. The Melody of the Sea is the main diplomatic vessel of Meridian, as well as the first ship to go into battle. The Melody has proven time and time again that you do not need bulk and hundreds of weapons to be the best. All you need is a good captain, a good crew, and a good strategy.

Granny's cabin is one of the favorite places in the world for Scarlet (Little Red). It is located in the woods very secludedly from pretty much civilization itself. It is no secret that the woods are a tricky place even for those who have grown on them. To try to find Granny's is a arduous task itself. Battles have taken place not too far from the place, other strange and dangerous creatures also live nearby but have never really gotten too close

The cabin itself is a beauty both inside and outside. The rustic interior give it a welcoming touch; once inside the cabin consists of 4 large bedrooms, a guests room, 2 bathrooms, an attic full of antiques and vintages, what seems to be a post-apocalyptic basement (full of non-perishable food & water bottles) and much more.

Prince Adam’s Castle

Location: TBA

Prince Adam’s castle remains as a subject to wicked tales and sheer rumour. It is said to once be a grand place and one of the most marvellous castles in the land, to which the owner was rich in gold, silver, treasures and other fine things. However, since the explosion, the Prince’s estate is now beginning to slowly relapse to an old curse. The Enchantresses’ spell seeps into the cracks of the castle’s stone walls. Wolves, giant spiders, and other dark creatures infest the woods surrounding the castle as the branches of the trees close together for an everlasting black night, and howling blizzard.
