Pokemon X and Y

Tips: 0.00 INK Postby Klein on Mon Sep 30, 2013 4:14 pm

Well with the release of X and Y around the corner I decided to make this little article to see if others are interested in getting it also, needed something to do on this site as to kill time. Now starting with some questions, what version are you getting X or Y..? And to your reasons why, after all it could be you merely like either of the legendaries better then the others, or even the color more.. heck I know some who are getting both of them, I myself am getting X because I liked its Legends Design.

Also what are your hopes for X and Y..? What would you like to be implemented into the Game..? And what is your favorite Non Legend of all time :3

Note, if you don't care for Pokemon|Or the series in generally please save yourself time and DON'T read this forum.. after all its pointless to just drop in say you aren't getting them as you hate Pokemon or try to hate on those who do :| Anyhow.

Weee! I preorder X from Gamestop and I'm eagerly awaiting the date like a pregnant mother (Never being pregnant before, I'm not sure how apt of a metaphor that is :/). I was torn which one to choose, but I only really had the money for one and Xerneas is what did it for me. He's all majestic and reminds me of the spirit deer from Princess Mononoke (granted, he doesn't have a people-face). I like how he's the "life" pokemon; It just all seems interesting to me. That said the Mega Mewtwo Y is way cooler, but oh well.

I haven't played a Pokemon game since Crystal so I'm really excited to relive the nostalgia while also checking out the new features. I love love love love the Pokemon Amie feature and being able to customize your trainer. I remember back when I played Crystal being ecstatic that I could finally play as a girl, so being able to really customize my character sounds pretty exciting.

My favorite pokemon is probably Vulpix/Ninetails, but I also love Eevee (and her many eeveelution), Teddiursa, Cubchoo, and I saw the a new X&Y pokemon is going to be a panda cub named Pancham and I'm excited for him as well.

I got Pokemon X as it had Houndour in it. I needed my Houndoom. B| And, in all honesty, I hope I finish this game. I got Black when it first came out and wasn't too impressed. X has been a huge improvement. I just need to... remember to play it. Maybe I'll play me some Pokemanz when I get home :D

Apt if you have a set due date where you will have the little one via c-section. Not so apt if you were like me and went almost two weeks over her due date to have a failed induction. Then again... release dates on games get pushed back a lot...

In any case, X and Y are great and everything, but coming from a girl who played the originals I have to say it's different now. I feel like the game is holding my hand too much... I dunno. Maybe I'm just weird, but that's my opinion.

You know, I can almost back this comment. There's just something... different about it. Maybe I'm just getting too old and it's too easy for me? Who knows. *shrugs*

XY have continued a trend I've been noticing since Emerald, namely that of making it easier and easier to get into the competitive scene. This is why they practically rush you through the main story.

(Of course, I haven't actually played the game yet, so feel free to ignore me on that point.)

What I'm excited for is the news that they can release patches for the game due to the 3DS's online connectivity, like with the game breaking bug involving saving on the circular boulevard around Lumiose City. Let's just hope they fixed Sky Drop while they were at it.
