Pokemon Gijinka: The Visitor

The soft ambiance of trees being billowed by the wind stirs Thomas from his sleep. Laying upon a large pile of leaves he sits up instantly placing a hand to his forehead. It as in pain, the pounding felt like someone had drove a lamp post through his head. Slowly standing to his feet nothing felt broken or sore. With a strange luck he managed to land upon a very soft pile of leaves. What had happened though? Why couldn't he remember? Thomas Wyse was a novice Pokemon Trainer. One that hadn't even gotten his starter Pokemon yet. That was right! He was traveling through a forest to get to a town to claim his own Pokemon!

Stupidly he had wandered off the beaten path and stumbled upon an angry Urasring. The next bits in his mind wouldn't fit together. Thomas remembered being chased and moving around a large boulder but the rest had drawn a blank. He would soon discover that he had accidentally tumbled into one of the portals created by the Pokemon Hoopa and was transported to another world completely. An alternate world where Humans were a rarity and Pokemon were Human themselves!

The forest seemed to stretch on forever and the air felt more pure. Wherever he was it felt refreshing, like there was some kind of strange aura surrounding and protecting the forest. Thomas trudged along blindly kind of hoping not to be ambushed again. He had no protection, other than the back pack full of a few odds and ends he brought for his journey. The air around him was warm and inviting and the forest lay silently still except for the light crunch of leaves and twigs below his feet.

It was strange...normally you would hear the cry of a Pokemon, or you would almost step on a Weedle or Caterpie. Something didn't feel right. Something felt...off. A chill ran down his spine as Thomas stopped walking. Was he even in his own region? Most tropical forests didn't stretch on for endless miles like this one. Nah, he was just nervous. He had to fight his own father to go out on his own and see the world. To leave his small island breeder town and become a legendary Pokemon Master.

That, and discovering mysteries yet to be uncovered, was his dream. He was so excited when he first started that morning but now he wasn't so sure. Thomas wasn't the bravest of person and he figured his journey would be alright as long as he had some strong Pokemon to protect him. He was willing to go out and face the world upon shaking legs of fear for his dreams. Weather it was determination or foolishness Thomas couldn't decide. His mind right now had shifted back to the forest.

There was a rustle and suddenly he was surrounded by a group of punk kids. "Well ain't this a surprise! A Human!?" one of them exclaimed in a curious, playful, yet threatening tone. These kids looked so odd, were they some kind of cosplaying punk group? Why did some of them look like they had hair styles and body parts of some of the more Poison Type Pokemon he had seen in books.

"How about we take it to the boss! A human just falling in our laps could land us some serious cash!" another punk stated 'summoning' what appeared to be some kind of vine.

Thomas felt uneasy, he stood there unsure what to do. His mind screaming at him to run but his legs felt like they were made of cement. More of these punks suddenly appeared too, blocking any and all escape routes. He was so confused, but he needed to find a way out! There was always a back door in these kinds of situations right!? Hopefully or things were probably going to get ugly very quickly.
