Random Quick World Built

So I came up with a quick idea for a state in a random world. Enjoy!

Name: Litorian League (Raigio te Litória)
Population: around 1,000,000
Government: A league of three aristocratic republics and one petty kingdom (Ciavelo).
Capital: de facto Slata (pop. 70,000)
Races: Mainly humans, tall, olive skinned and dark-haired, proud and diplomatic. Other races can be found in the cities in rather large numbers, because of the cosmopolitan nature of the trading league.
Other member cities: Ruogaso (pop. 40,000), Ciavelo (pop. 30,000), Sereci (pop. 30,000)
Commander of the League: Race (High Noble in Litorian) Nuccolo Gracia of Slata, with the help of the Litorian Chamber of Elders, which consists of 10 high ranking warlords and diplomats, hailing from each member city.
Army: 40,000 maximum at war, 2,000 during peacetime as the Racian Guard. Employs also mercenaries when needed. Fleet 200 triremes at maximum. Usually a reserve fleet has around 30 to 40 ships at any given time.
Language: Dialects of Litorian, which some were mutually unintelligible. Old Foron (Tradua Foro) was the lingua franca.
Calendar and Religion: Foronian Calendar, which divides the 365 days of the year into 12 months. Current year: 645. Litorians revere the zodiac sign Cancer above all, and it can be seen in their flags, banners and armours. They hold the star Mur-di (Altarf, Beta Cancri) as a bringer of good luck. The religions reveres the ancient saints of the cities and they are oft asked for guidance and prayed upon. Magic is considered heretical and barbaric craft, and has been for hundreds of years, which has resulted the Cancri Gem to disappear completely from history writing; no living man knows the location of the gem.
