Holoscreens blinked and splashed their myriad of colors on ToolBox's face as his fingers flew over the interface panels built into his legs, rapidly running systems checks and scanning the surrounding area for any survivors. Buildings could be heard crumbling to the ground in the distance and the bio-man neared the subway's entrance fragments of concrete and brick strewn throughout the landscape. Shattered office machines left only the shadow of what was once a headquarters for a top banking establishment. The sun beamed down hotter than inferno as the blazing ball in the sky seemed to have no remorse for those that felt its heat and if it wasn't for his bio implants and metallic parts ToolBox would definitely be feeling the heat.

As ToolBox drew ever closer to his destination he thought about what this new world would be like. It couldn't be any worse than the one he is used to could it? Most definately not.

The day seems quiet enough I guess.

Suddenly as if by fate ToolBox's HUD fired up, warning sirens blared, but different warning sirens than those that alerted him that his systems were damaged. Two small blips appeared on his HUD they were approaching him from behind, presumably heading for the same destination he was. Stopping ToolBox turned to face the newcomers.
