"Ʋи∂ɛяиɛαтн тнɛ Ѧαƨκ"

ImagePᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ: ♃ Adaptable♃- Being a mystical creature and basically living on his own, along with constantly moving, its taught Falkor to be able to live and survive in any environment ♃ Fearless ♃- Believing himself unkillable, he charges into battle and everything completely calm and level headed ♃ Sarcastic♃- Falkor has a bad habit of turning everything into a joke, even really bad situations. ♃ Creative ♃- Being the only cook on the ship, along with being out at sea for long periods of time, Falkor has to get creative with the meals sometime. If you ask him whats on the menu, all you will get is " I'll never tell." ♃Frightening♃- Do to his sheer size and looks, not many people will talk to Falkor. To make matters worse, being the Pirate King, doesn't make people want to go out their way to help out. ♃ Pyschopath♃- To become a perfect assassin Falkor had literally become detached from social emotions, he never really knew how to act in public

Hɪsᴛᴏʀʏ: Growing up on a constantly waring planet and born into a commoners family, Falkor learned at a young age how to hunt with a cross bow and long bow. When it came time to clean the animals, that too was learned at a young age. See, Falkor's family members have always been butchers, because its a family business he had little choice when it came to jobs. Falkor so desperately wanted to join the military and learn how to fight, when Falkor was old enough to hunt on his own, he would often spend most of the time honing his skills with the Samurai sword. This is also when he learned how to transform into this glorious Garuda, the perfect assassin. After years of practice and training, he decided to test his mettle and became a "hired gun". the money and jobs were great, until he took the wrong contract. This when he became the hunted, so in the preservation of his own life, Falkor cashed in his contracts and took a 1 way ticket through the portal. After arriving on Earth Falkor met Seraphine, they spent every waking moment together. Falkor trained Seraphine and they became an amazing assassin team. During their final assignment, Falkor was forced to remove his heart from his chest in order to save both their lives. Ever since that day Falkor's heart has been forever bound to Seraphine. Even though they chose different crews, Falkor never stopped loving Seraphine. This is the only reason why Seraphine can control his heart, but she cannot cause Falkor any form of physical harm and he can't harm her either.

Wᴇᴀᴋɴᴇssᴇs: Hard Headed-Do to his past job on his home planet and the rigorous training, Falkor has become very stern and not easy to reason with.
☙ Unrestrained❧- When Falkor has made his full transformation and is completely filled with rage, he is very unpredictable and completely detached from reality.
Disorganized- Not much to say on this, his work station looks like a perfect storm came through and left no survivors. Its what Falkor calls "organized chaos."

Sᴛʀᴇɴɢᴛʜs: Leader- Falkor has an avid ability to take the lead in any and all situations that are very dangerous or even very chaotic. He lives and breathes discipline.
Action Oriented- When there's nothing of action occurring, he is always pacing or rambling on about the "Glory Days".
Observant- Honestly, nothing gets past Falkor's eagle eyes. He is always on the watch and looking for things that aren't normal

Qᴜɪʀᴋs:Fidgety- According to humans, Falkor has ADHD. No matter what he has his in his hands, he is always tapping it.
Humming- Whenever he is working on anything that takes a lot of thought or concentration, Falkor is always humming tunes that he finds catchy or calming
Scars- While Falkor was honing his assassin skills, he would manage to get some sort of what he called a souvenir.

Bᴇʟɪᴇꜰs: Every morning Falkor has a strict ritual he follows, meditate at first light, sharp all his knives starting from the smallest to biggest. He prays and makes offerings to Cernunnos.

Image
Seraphine can talk to Falkor by talking to his heart, he can only hear her voice in his head. He is unable to cause her any form of physical harm, vice versa.

So begins...

Te-Fiti's island was filled with people from all over the world, dancing and celebrating the 'Celebration O'Stara, the beginning of the starfruit harvest. Every year the celebration was on a different island, this time it was on Lilith's home, where even the pirate ships were intending. The celebration was a week long event on one of the many 'Safe Havens' for all parties, which meant violence of any kind was prohibited. Every member of the court, every Royal family member, every navy ship, every pirate ship and most importantly all of the people of the world were invited to this huge event.

Even when entering or leaving Te-Fiti's island each ship is escorted from open sea to the island's harbor. During this event, every party was allowed to come and go as they please, however any member of a Royal family got the opportunity to stay in the Yellowstone Castle, where Lilith and other members of the court lived. There was also three thousand royal guards and soldiers on the island alone at all time, with Lilith being the last of her bloodline it was very important she stayed protected. Which was why the court asked Constantine to be her personal guard during tonight's event.

Not only was this celebration a big deal but the harvest was also the start of the new year, and this pre-celebration was where Queen Lilith would give her opening speech, declaring the start of the celebration. The first couple of days Queen Lilith was to receive gifts and spend time with every party that was attending. The third day of the celebration was when fun activities and competitions were occurring, which would go until the end of the week.

The starfruit was the most popular fruit that grew all over the world, it was shaped like a star and had the sweetest taste. Te-Fiti's island was most known for the large marketplace trading, where everyone came to stock up on starfruit and other necessities. When digesting starfruit the person is left with a sensual and uplifting feeling, it was sort of like earth's happy medication, it was always a high trading item.

It seemed like a horrible time to have a big celebration, however this celebration was something that every member on earth could enjoy. It was the celebration of life in general, it didn't matter what species you were or if you were considered 'good' or 'evil'. With rumors going around about Azazel's crew seeking to destroy the treaty and Constantine's crew out to stop him the atmosphere was very tense. Even with the air so tense because both crews were on the island somewhere, there was not a sad face for miles. Candles, Bonfires, and torches were lit up everywhere, uplifting music filled the air as everyone prepared for Queen Lilith's speech.

There was no way that the Yellowstone courtyard could squeeze in every single person that arrived to the harvest. Royal members, member's of the court and as many people as they could fit in the courtyard waited patiently for Lilith to start her speech. The sky was just turning into night as Lilith appeared in the courtyard, high above the crowd of cheering people. Standing with Lilith was her trusting adviser, Viktor and the three head court members, all with stern faces, not showing much emotion for the event.

Lilith's hands were sweaty as she stood at the balcony over her courtyard. She quickly glanced at Constantine and then back at the ground, slowing her breathing and remembering to to stay calm. She waited for the uncomfortable feeling of Merlin-the oldest and crankiest of the head bosses. He would flick the back of her earlobe to signal her to start talking, if that wasn't bad enough Constantine would already be projecting her voice to be heard from all areas of the island. Which meant if she cried out in pain or cursed under her breathe every living soul here would hear it. She couldn't bare the thought of something embarrassing happening like that, so she took a step forward putting more space between Merlin and herself.

She wore a long red to black ombre dress, with lace floral across her chest to, just barely visible to skin underneath. The material was obviously silk like with small mirrored beads throughout the whole dress making the light in the courtyard reflect off of Lilith. Her hair was up in a bun and for once she looked the part of a queen. Lilith's love for her island and every living being on it she knew she could be anything they needed her to be. She smiled to herself as she looked down at the dress that was "picked out" for her to wear to this "life changing event". She knew that the people in the back might just be blinded by her dress as she cleared her throat.

As she placed her hands on the stone railing in front of her she started to speak, unable to hear herself projecting around the island but confident in herself."Thank you all for joining the annual Celebration O'Stara!" Lilith said excited, she gave the crowd a moment to cheer back before continuing.

"Tonight we are celebrating life while feasting on starfruit. I know the upcoming decade of the treaty has everyone tense, but tonight we forget about who we are and where we belong in the political eye. Tonight is about celebrating everything around us so take in the beauty of Te-Fiti and enjoy the starfruit! I, Queen Lilith Yellowstone, now pronounce the beginning of the harvest!" Lilith's arms went in the air as fireworks and light shows in the sky went off, the crowd cheered from below.

When Lilith turned around to face the people on the balcony with her they didn't look impressed. "That wasn't nearly the speech that we rehearsed." Viktor shouted at Lilith, she took a step forward, in fading his personal space.

"Excuse me, Viktor? Celebration O'Stara is about equality of life, the celebration of life. How many times do I need to mention that? It is the only day that my title in the courts doesn't define who I am." She backed up a bit and took a small breath. "Besides tonight your not my adviser, your just a regular person." Lilith told him, rising her arms up as she shrugged and started to walk down the large stone staircase down to the courtyard to enjoy her night before she had to be some what of a professional tomorrow.

As she walked around in the courtyard she saw faces she had never seen before and some she thought she knew. Hands were constantly being thrown in her direction to shake and hold. It wasn't long before the island horns blew in start of the new year and for once the attention wasn't on her. She looked back at Constantine, her personal body guard for the night. She decided that he shouldn't have to be here for her, nothing was going to happen that she couldn't defend herself for. She watched Constantine's head movements as she stood beside him in the crowd. After waiting for the perfect second, while he was looking in the crowd for anyone that would fit Azazel's character, the signature bandanna.

As Lilith slipped into crowd away from Constantine's grasp she smiled to herself taking a run for it when she saw him walking the other way. This was her one night, she had to make the best of it before Viktor or Merlin grabbed her and threw her in her room. Lilith smiled as she eventually escaped through the palace courtyard and beyond the bridge. From there she ran down hill, her crown had long fallen off of her head, her hair was a curly mess from the wind as her feet took her as fast as they would go to the water. She had always been a problem child for everyone, even after her parents died. She wanted to be at sea, not stuck on some island in the middle of nowhere. Even if tonight, this small island might something, she still wanted to be at the beach, where her favorite type of people hung out. Not stuck in some boring castle, she smiled to herself wishing she could see the look on Constantine's face right now as she kicked off her shoes, ripped her dress so she could run down the sandy beach, further away.

The amount of people that were around her now were slim to none as she stood by the water waiting for the last bit of people to fan out. She ran to the rock cove, she giggled as the cool water hit her warm legs. She ran faster, trying not to fall in the water as she finally jumped, down a waterfall into cave that not many people knew about. From above it looked like nothing but a waterfall into sharp rocks, however if one was capable to see into the darkness and vast waters into the rocks. They would see that there is a hole big enough for a person to fit through, if they have the courage to jump they would discover a cave. Lilith's head popped up after a couple minutes, gasping for air as she pulled herself up. She laid on the cavern floor, catching her breath from almost drowning. "That was exciting." She whispered lighting up the cave with the sound of her voice.

For the past fourteen days Constantine has spent all his waking moments helping Queen Lilith and the rest of Te-Fiti get everything in order for this years celebration. Not that he thought that Lilith couldn't handle it herself. Constantine was following an order sanctioned by the Royal Court, knowing that his crew could get an early picking of the starfruit, with the queen's permission that is. The first few days were spent drawing up plans of possible attack spots from the water and from the bridge. Then it was time to train the guards, then the navy and finally the queen's personal guard, which just happen this year to fall on Constantine's shoulders.

It's not very often that Constantine gets to spend more than a day at port or even anywhere in sight of land. Secretly, Constantine longs for these extensive stays on the white sandy shores. But mostly he enjoys the feel of wet sand between his toes. So, when these rare opportunities arise Constantine never turns them down, no matter how cheap the pay or how crappy the weather.

All fourteen of these previous days have led up to this one day, this one moment in time. His favorite student had grown into this amazing, fearless, yet silver tongued women. Keep calm and focus. Keep calm and focus. KEEP CAlmmmmm and focus, the mantra that Constantine had been telling himself for the past few days. The next few hours would define Lilith's legacy as the ruler of Te-Fiti, Would they respect her? Would they stand with her in a time of great need? Constantine couldn't get out of his own head to save his life. All those years mastering the arts of meditation and astral projection, forgotten, just because he was afraid of failing the Royal Court and Council.

Just before Lilith gave her first speech, she looked back and gave him this look. Immediately after Lilith turned back around, Constantine was washed over with pure calmness, everything up until this point meant nothing. Personally, he thought the speech could have used a little bit more, but who am I to judge, I can barely give a toast. The way the crowd reacted to to Lilith's speech gave him great confidence that Queen Lilith's would stand with her through everything good or bad.

Once the crowd died down and started to mingle among themselves, Constantine felt it was only right that he should join Lilith down the great stair case and into the mob, that was nothing more than a political gain for each royal that attended. About halfway down the stair case Constantine got this uneasy feeling in his gut, his eyes immediately turned to the ever gaining crowd of people, in hopes that he would catch a glimpse of Azazel before he was spotted first

Constantine had no clue how long it had been since he last saw Lilith. He began to freak out a little bit, but then calmed himself. Without making a big scene, Constantine quietly slipped away into the crowd, he went to every guard post, asking if anyone had seen anything unusual. All reported the same thing, nothing unusual. A huge grin appeared on Constantine's face. I trained her to always find a way out, that's my girl.

Upon arriving on Te-Fiti, Falkor could hardly contain his need to be on dry land again. As much as he loved being the cook for Azazel and the rest of the crew, his "birdie" side needed that dry land. Without so much as a hesitation when Azreal's Fortune was docked, he was already down the dock and onto dry land. Trying not to make to much more of a fool of himself, Falkor gathered himself up and went back towards the ship to recover every tool, piece of clothing, each individual knife and lastly his coin pouch. Once that last coin was placed back into the bag, Falkor looked up and over his shoulder to make sure that no one saw his childish behavior. Dressed in what Falkor referred to as his finest cookware, nothing really made him look any different then his everyday outfits.

After all the antics were over, Falkor took a step back and looked up at the magnificent Yellowstone Castle. All the time and effort that was spent getting this celebration together, was just a huge waste of time. After all the whole reason Falkor agreed with Azazel on coming to this event, was to get some recon on the castle and kidnap the queen. But somewhere deep down in Falkor's forgotten memories, he some how felt right at home in the mix of all the primp and proper. But none of that mattered today, all he wanted to do was sit on the docks fish and then go shopping for goods to cook and for a resupply.

I hope I can can score my usual amount of nectar here. That's when it happened, that flash of 'butterflies' in the pit of his stomach, Falkor knew that some point he may bump into the women who stole his heart, his Seraphine. Falkor couldn't remember the last time he was this nervous, excited, queezy, yet so for of energy all at the same time.

When Falkor finally came back down to earth, he realized that he hadn't moved a single step from end of the docks. So, without hesitation Falkor transformed into his true form. He spread his shiny, jet black, eight foot wings, clutched his bag tight and took straight to the sky. Just when he was out of visibility, Falkor tucked his wings and dove straight back to earth, only pulling up right before he face planted. "Perfect landing," he shouted.

Setting up the shop wasn't going to be as easy as Falkor thought, there were so many more people then he thought would actually attend. He made his way to the only available area, pulled up an old, weathered fishing crate. Flopped the only usable piece of drift wood, built himself a little fire then finally began to prep and cook his specials that he saved for just this type of occasion.

Before Constantine realized what was going around him, he had travelled all the way down to the marketplace, just lost in his thoughts. I hope that Lily is behaving herself out there, wait what am I worried for these are here people and nothing bad is gonna happen. Banishing that thought from his mind Constantine decided to go check out the marketplace. All the sweet smelling fruits and the fresh smelling flowers reminded Constantine of his home and his parents.

If only my parents could see this, they would be so amazed at what all these people can do when they work together. He reached up and wiped a single tear from his cheek, with that happy memory still floating around his head, Constantine headed for his favorite area of the marketplace.

As he walked towards the northern part of the market, something very familiar caught Constantine's glancing view. Constantine stopped dead in his tracks, turned his head towards the harbor and exactly what he thought he saw, was right in front of him. Staring dead ahead, Constantine watched Falkor's every move. Not wanting to make a scene Constantine headed on his way after a few minutes of what he liked to call Bird Watching.

Only stopping at a few other vendors to take a quick glance at their wares. The last vendor he stopped at had some remarkably amazing things. There were chains adorned with rare gems and there were rings of all different shapes and sizes. Some with gems, some with seeds fixed into glass. But there was this one particular necklace that stood out. The chain was made from silk and titanium and adorn with three blue sapphires and two Eden fire opals.

This would make the perfect gift for Lily, how much fine sir? Constantine asked curiously.

The vendor replied For the great Pirate King, twelve bronze coins. A price that Constantine paid happily and gave a little extra for the amazing craftmanship.

After getting all the supplies set up and the fires started, all that was needed now is what to put the food on. Oh geez, what am I suppose to put the food in, think bird man, think. With that he started to pace back and forth. Ill go in search of items in the market place, thinking to himself.

All I need is someone to sit here till I get back. Taking the chance that no one will steal his stuff Falkor headed into the busy marketplace, hoping that he'd "accidentally" run into Seraphine again.

After a few minutes of serious looking, Falkor stumbled upon Mickey. All Falkor could think when he saw Mickey was He looks like a drunk hobo. So, he squatted down next to Mickey and with his nicest, most pleasant voice Falkor says Hey, Mickey will you come chill at my food spot so I can go get more supplies?

Not waiting for a reply Falkor started to head back to hit little spot, stopping along the way to peek and pick out the best looking fruits, vegetables and meats. Just before he made it back to his cozy, tight spot Falkor came across a merchant selling cloth. Gods, this is perfect to put the meals on.

As soon as Falkor sat down to start prepping all the supplies for cooking, Falkor realized that he had forgotten the one thing he needed most. Way to go bird brain, you forgot the stupid spices, how do you expect to make anything taste good without the goodness? Hmmmm you big clumsy pigeon.

'These white sand beaches and this celebration reminds me of the Glory Days. This particular celebration reminds me of the time my father and I slaughtered our unsuspecting foes. Caught them right in the middle of a festival just like this one. What I would give to have those back. All I need to do is get Queen Lilith to spill what she knows about the treaty.' Azazel felt like he had just been hit by a tree branch,'what the **** just happened?' He looks down to see Lilith, his whole reason for following these footsteps.

When Azazel had finally snapped back to reality, he saw exactly what drew his attention away from his reminiscing of the Glory Days, it was the last person he expected to see all by themselves. It was Lilith, almost as if the Gods had planned this all along."Are you okay? I hope I didn't hurt you Lilith?" While Azazel checked to make sure he didn't drop anything, he also noticed that Lilith had dropped almost everything she had been carrying. "Here let me help you with that, where are you headed in such a hurry young lady?" Azazel asked as if he didn't already know who she was or what she was doing.

Not wanting to come off as to forward or rude Azazel simply asked "Can I help you carry anything?" with a small yet pleasant smile. Staring into Lilith's eyes, Azazel nodded and accepted the star fruit from Lilith. Pulling out one of his smaller knives, Azazel sat down on a piece of drift wood, then proceeded to skin the fresh, perfectly ripe star fruit. Looking back up at Lilith, Azazel placed his right hand on the empty spot next to him and gently patted it and said "Please, join me in sharing this wondrous fruit won't you?" with his best manipulative smile. "I would love to get your side of this peace treaty and how you feel about this Azazel and his murderous crew."

Upon reaching the ship, she carefully walked up the bridge, careful not to drop anything into the sea below. The clicking sound from her heels got louder as she stepped onto the deck. She made her way to the kitchen to put away the last load of items she got. She kicked open her bedroom door across from the kitchen and dropped her bag on the bed. She kicked off her shoes, shoving them to the side of the room like most of the items she did. It just gave her something to clean up later when she had finished all the orders Constantine would give her when he got back. Usually he didn't just send them off to bed, there was usually lots of work to be done.

After Seraphine put the food she had gotten for Constantine, Yuna, Meirin and herself to eat later she started walking around the ship, making sure it was just her on board. Each room was as empty as her heart; she returned to the deck, it was cool against her bare feet. The breeze was perfect, her hair going up with the air as she twirled around the deck in her lonesome way. She danced around the deck, jumping up on rails, the ropes, the sails, even the captains personal chair. She jumped on everything that if another soul was there would yell at her to get off. The feeling of being free like that was the best feeling she had gotten in a long while.

It wasn't long before being alone was starting to bore Seraphine, her heart ached for company of some sort. She tangled her feet off of the railing of the ship, sitting impatiently for the rest of her crew. Constantine probably wouldn't sleep on the ship, the last fourteen days he had been in the castle with the pretty redhead. Seraphine wiggled her nose at what they could be doing and quickly removed the imagine from her mind as she stared at the ridiculous looking people wondering the deck, admiring their ship.

"When are they coming back..I'm so lonely." She said thinking about Meirin and Yuna. The two were basically her favorite people. Constantine was alright, but he didn't understand sometimes like Meirin and Yuna did. She thought of the dress she got and wondered if Meirin and Yuna would think it fit Seraphine's style or not. It was more of the 'good girl' and 'mature' type of dress. Up till now all Seraphine would buy is dresses her body could breathe in. Having nine tails made it hard to find good clothing which is why she really just covered the bits she knew she had to keep covered.

The blue orb that followed her around started to twirl in front of her. She grabbed the orb and held it, resting her chin on it as she peered through, blinking her eyes until she could kind of see Falkor walking through the marketplace before he disappeared into the crowd that became blurry again. Her vision wasn't that great, even if she was supposed to be a great Kitsune.

She pushed her hands into the orb it stung a little bit, making her entire hands itch. Resisting the urge to scratch it she held the heart inside bringing it close to her lips. "The smell of your cooking brings back memories.." She said laughing quietly. As she waited for her crew members to return to the ship she ran her fingers through one of her tails, making the fur soft to the touch.

❝Don't forget about me!❞
ɗιαƖσgυє cσƖσя:#CD96CD ♙ тнσυgнт cσƖσя #FFB6C1

|| Flaws || Bastille ||

Yuna smiled to herself, happy that she now had more than she started with. She was about to head back towards the food stalls when someone rushed up to her. "T-Tarun!" Yuna squeaked in surprise, cheeks quickly turning a vibrant shade of pink. "Are you here for the festival too?" She asked, her vibrant purple orbs sparkling in delight at having encountered an old friend. She blushed when he called her cute, hiding her new tinge behind her stuffed unicorn. "I-I've been doing well, I think. I'm still Constantine's navigator," the little unicorn had an eye for the stars, as many unicorns did. In ancient myths, it was said that animals like unicorns and centaurs were the guides to the stars, the gateway to the cosmos. It was why, in recent years, many centaurs were kidnapped and sold into slavery, working as navigators on ships and for royal families without ever getting a break. Many herds had moved into more populated places for additional protection, having once been free to roam the woods as they pleased.

"Look Run, I found a silver coin." Yuna smiled as she showed him, Tarun guffawing at her happiness for a mere piece of silver. "You don't have to give me money-" but it was too late, the boy emptied his change sack into her hands. "Oh u-um, thank you!" Yuna looked at the change he had given her, not quite the amount he had bragged about, but Tarun always had a way of spinning things to make him look to be in the best position, even if he wasn't. "Thank you," Yuna's smile was genuine. She placed the change into her pocket and was about to give him a hug, happy to have seen an old friend, when Tarun rushed off, leaving Yuna to stumble and fall into a puddle. "Wow, what a jerk," someone commented, holding out a hand to help the mud covered girl. Yuna reached for it, pulling herself out of the puddle.

"Hey, a unicorn, bet you don't see that everyday." He said with a grin, reaching out to touch her horn. Yuna stiffened, grabbing her plush and turning tail to run away. She bustled off, forgetting about her rumbling stomach and heading straight for the awaiting ship parked on the dock. By the time Yuna reached the Pirate King's vessel, her white dress was dry, albeit stained, along with her mud smeared arms and legs. She clamored up the rope ladder, panting as she finally settled down on the wooden exterior of the ship. "I'm... home," Yuna managed, rising on shaky legs to go find Serphine, whom she was certain was still aboard the vessel. "It smells yummy," Yuna said as she sniffed the air, her horn glimmering in the low light of the lanterns strung around the deck.

"I hope it's stew," the unicorn smiled to herself as she hugged her plush, her mouth watering from the tantalizing scents that filled the air. "I should get cleaned up first, Seraphine won't like it if I show up to dinner all dirty." Yuna could already hear their scolding her for being such a mess. The unicorn headed below the deck, to where the rooms were. She removed her filthy gown and placed it in the basket in her little room, able to see the town from her porthole. Yuna picked up a towel and pulled off her shoes, navigating down the hall and to the shared bathroom in order to remove the muck from her body. "Seraphine, if you're here, I call the shower!" She called with a giggle, knowing that there would be plenty of warm water to use.

Mickey was only slightly buzzed when Falkor popped over, asking him to guard his things. "I guess," he yawned, stretching his limbs towards the sky. He ran a hand through his colorless hair, reaching into his pocket for the small sack of nuts he had stolen off of a cart. "I really should buy some new clothes," he yawned, deciding that the rags he owned aboard the ship no longer suited him. Mickey pat his money bag, two giggling girls slowly moving closer. He grinned, figuring this was the perfect opportunity. "Excuse me, but my friend wanted to say hi." He nodded in acknowledgement, "Hello," he replied with a charming grin, pulling out his princely manners. "How do you do?" She was dressed in finery that Mickey would assume only a human of high status would wear. "I'm doing well and you?" She asked, holding out a hand. He bowed, bending over to kiss it, his other hand reaching into her pocket.

The two girls giggled as he right himself, slipping his hands into his clothes to stow the new found treasures. "Just fine, it's my first time at this festival." He replied with a wink, "and my first time meeting such a fine specimen." The two girls giggled once more, running off to find some other boy to tease no doubt. He reached down for his bag, tapping his foot impatiently as he waited for Falkor to return to relieve him of his good watching duties. "I'm gonna do a bit of shopping, I'll see you back on the ship," he winked, giving fake salute as he headed to ditch the ugly clothing that had been giving him a rather er... homely appearance he'll put it. Mickey hit the shops, bargaining with bits and pieces, stolen treasures, and returning with an armload of bags weighing him down.

There, no longer would he look like a slovenly fool, now he could truly play the part of the prince from the sea. Running a hand through his hair, Mickey took another swig of the starfruit drink, warming his throat, the slight buzz increasing. He hopped over the side of the ship, landing on the dock and walking towards the beach to lay in the sand. It was a warm evening, a pleasant breeze rustling through his clothing that made him nostalgic for the sea. Was he still allowed to harbor these emotions of longing and nostalgia? In a sense, Mickey almost felt as though he had betrayed his parents. Was he still allowed to long for that undersea palace in which, through no fault of his own, he had been drawn from?

"F*** it," he rose, tossing the bottle into the water. "You stupid fish!" He yelled, kicking at the sand, careful not to get wet and reveal his merman form. "Why can't you do anything right!" Not an angry drunk per say, more a lonely one. Even with his new land and sky faring friends, Mickey couldn't help but long for someone who knew how wonderful the sea was.

"To be completely honest your highness, I'm just a lowly merchant. I trade in rare, antique, new and one of a kind items. I travel from port to port and market to market." Azazel said with a soft, giddy voice."But for today I am just here for the festival and to enjoy these amazing star fruit."

Azazel got up to brush off the pieces of peelings that landed in his lap. Not realizing how fast acting the nectar was, Azazel almost fell flat on his face when he stood up. Once Azazel steadied himself, he slowly leaned down to wash his hands and blade. Thinking to himself'I don't remember these star fruits being so juicy and potent, I can barely see straight.' Just as slowly as Azazel squatted down, he was just as cautious standing back up.'You got this Z, you've been worse off then this in the past, just stay calm and focus.' Azazel thought to himself.

Turning around slowly and confidently, Azazel looked Lilith square in the eyes with solemn look."I'm so very sorry to hear about your parents, I couldn't even imagine the pain you have gone through. Or how to deal with this murderer Azazel and his crew all while trying to keep the treaty in tack." Bowing and smiling Azazel said Please excuse me for over stepping my bounds, I meant no harm, it's the star fruit talking my Queen, again my humblest apologizes if I offended you." For the first time in as long as Azazel could remember he was blushing.'What is wrong with me, I can snuff out a life without blinking, but here I am acting like a little school girl!'

Reaching up to him mouth for his final bite, he finally realized what Lilith had gestured at. Azazel had juice leaking down his cheek and mouth. Doing what came natural Azazel reached into his coat pocket. Pulling out, what looked like nothing more than a piece of cloth, to wipe his face and knife blade, was actually Azazel's signature bandanna. The tattered, reddish orange, and blood stained bandanna.

After realizing that he forgot the spices, Falkor looked up to notice Mickey heading his way, thinking to himself out loud"Okay make this quick you exactly what spices he needed for now and the extras he needed for the ships supply." With that Falkor walked purposely towards the spice vendors.

After what he thought was the quickest he ever shopped for anything in his life."Guess I'll meet up with you on the ship Mickey, be there once i get all my stuff together." Laying out all the spices Falkor had just bought. Thinking to himself'I really could use a taste tester, I'd love to try out this new recipe I've concocted.' After careful examination of the cumin, paprika, garlic cloves, onions both green and white, sea salt, pepper and all the freshly cut vegetables Falkor began to mix his secret concoction. While reaching for his pestal Falkor heard that, familiar and long lost voice he dreamed about night after night, it was Seraphine. The biggest and brightest smile appeared on Falkor's face. With a tear in his eye Falkor whispered to himself"My dearest Seraphine, I miss not only cooking for you, but I miss you." Finally finding his pestal, Falkor began mashing and stirring the dry spices, all while adding the fresh spices to the steaming skillet. Once Falkor was convinced he got the spices and vegetables the way he wanted, next came the choice of meats. It was a tough decision, poultry or pork or beef or even seafood? ' So,many choices, so many matches, but which ones to choose.' Falkor debated this for a few seconds in his mind.

Without making up his mind Falkor decided to just "wing it." As soon as he looked up standing not four feet from him was this cute, little girl. She had the biggest grin and eyes that sparkled like the sky at night."Are you hungry my little lady?" Falkor asked with a childish tone."Oh yes sir, but unfortunately I have no money to pay you sir." she replied with tears rolling down her cheek and a quivering lip.

"No tears my beautiful lady, for this is O'Stara and you will eat till your stomach is about to burst." Falkor replied with a huge smile as he walked over and picked her up and placed her right next to him. Once the little girl had gotten her fill and Falkor had given her all the left overs, he packed up his stuff. Looking all over his spot, just to make sure that he didn't forget anything. Satisfied that he didn't leave anything, Falkor hopped onto the ledge and jumped. Falling towards the ground Falkor transformed into the giant bird and flew straight for the ship.

In response to the extra cash that Constantine gave the vendor, he wrapped the necklace in the nicest cloth he had. "You, sir have my business and my personal protection from this day forth. If you ever need to find me or get a message to me, Queen Lilith has the means to get me a message the quickest.' Bowing and bidding the vendor a "A most pleasant O'Stara."

Moving on towards his main objective, Constantine was beginning to worry about Lilith, she had been gone for quite awhile.
"Stop worrying old man, remember who trained her and taught her the ways of conversation and persuasion." Constantine had finally made it to the one vendor he was looking for, only known as Hephaestus. This was the guy that Constantine would hire to find the rarest and most valuable items.

Thinking to himself as Constantine walked up 'Hope Hep was able to locate the lost Yellowstone Pendant or better yet he has it with him. When Constantine arrived at the meeting point, Hep was not there and no one had seen him all day either. Disappointed and a little worried Constantine started to head back through the market."Hope Hephaestus is okay, you guard come here." He said loudly and forcefully. "Keep an eye out for Hephaestus, notify me immediately with any information or if he's seen."

After stopping by a few vendors on the way to the ship, Constantine had everything he needed, well at least from the portion of the market. Constantine was about to toss his bags on to the deck when a glimmering flash hit him square in the eye."What in the name of the Gods is that?" Constantine squinted and stared toward where the flash originated. While trying to focus, Constantine heard a familiar giggle, but only faintly.

" This is where my little apprentice has been hiding, I wonder who she is with? Without hesitation Constantine grabbed his bags and hopped on the ship. Dashing to his room Constantine tossed his recently purchased items onto his bed in exchange for his belt, ax and whip. There was no stopping Constantine now, he was getting that beach one way or another.

Lilith sat on the driftwood as the man explained who he was and what he was doing here tonight. She remembered her speech, ..it doesn't matter who you are tonight, we are all equal!... She smiled and took another piece from him, she savored the bite in her mouth, stuffing the whole thing in because she was so hungry.

He got up for a moment so Lilith looked up the beach where the marketplace would be, she wondered if it was too late to get some food. As she turned back to look at her company, he had just turned back around. He sounded so apologetic as he told her he was sorry for the pain she must of have felt. She looked down at her hands, her finger tips felt tingly and she can to wait to finish chewing and swallowing to answer him."Oh it's alright, it happened so long ago. I mean, yeah it ****'s but I can't change my past. I can only change my future."

Lilith stood up and grabbed the stranger's arm so he could balance himself with her help. She knew she wouldn't be of much help but the thought was still there. "I need to start heading back to the courtyard, would you like to accompany me to the marketplace?" She asked as he was wiping his knife, her hand from his arm dropped as she looked at the cloth. "Why does that look so familiar.." She whispered to herself, her head hurt trying to think of where she had seen that cloth from.

She suddenly started giggling like a mad woman, "I'm sorry, sir. The starfruit seems to be talking for me as well." She disregarded the uneasy feeling in her stomach as she tried to walk in the sand. Lilith was able to make it a good two hundred feet away before she slipped and fell. As she started to get back up she could start to see people, the two had made it a good distance heading back. Lilith reached into her bag and pinched her thumb nail into the top to slice it open. She peeled off the outside, throwing it in the ocean to feed the fishes, if anything it was a good fertilizer.

After it was peeled she handed it to her companion, when he started to cut it into slices she quickly flicked the knife handle out of his hands and gracefully caught it before she handed it back to him, handle first."Take bites Mister 'BigShot'" She said, after he took the knife back from her she pulled out another fruit and started to peel it for herself. "Just use your cloth thing to keep wiping your face, I guess." She told him as she just endured the sticky juice rolling down her neck. Her back really started to ache at this point, it burned in one spot in the middle of her back.

Joel was honestly amused with Run's little tantrum, he was happily laughing his butt off when Run yelled at him. Stating he wasn't funny and to stop laughing at him."The fact that you say not to laugh at you, makes you even more pathetic that I have to laugh more." He couldn't contain it, he laughed again. He whipped away any happy tears that were forming in his eyes and fixed his composer by crossing his arms, one hand over his mouth to stop himself from laughing any further. He took a deep breath and said "Hey Tarun, if it makes you feel any better, my life ****s too."

When Tarun ran off in a sad pathetic defend, his sister turned and looked at Joel."You shouldn't tease him so hard."

"What?! Come on! That's not fair, you know you want to laugh too." Joel stated moving closer to her. He was really thrilled to be with someone that he actually knows, he hadn't planned to celebrate this night because he wasn't anywhere near Te-Fiti's island. With the sudden change of events, he was going to have some fun at least. For the next three wishes of his life he would be attached to Rin's hips."The poor kid can't just live his own life." When she finally joined in on the laugh his only got louder.

Finally they both settled down and as Rin started to walk she told Joel "And don't worry, I'm saving the wishes." He started to follow her down the beach, unsure of what would be ahead, he slid his arm around the back of her waist, his palm on her opposing hip after she told him "It's nice to know you want to stick around, hmm?"

"There's no one I'd rather spend this holiday with. Joel told her bringing her close for a hug and a small kiss on her cheek before letting her go. He followed her to the docks, and then to a huge ship. The impression had to look terrifying from Rin's reaction to Joel. He looked over at some shoes that were just thrown onto the floor, Rin explained right away "That's Yuna. Well, that's her shoes. She's cute, tiny with a horn."

Joel's next look was his right eye brow raised and his lips puckered out before he said "Is that some fancy new age way of telling that 'she's' really a 'he'?" Joel asked honestly before smirking at her expression. "Just kidding. I'm sure I'll understand that 'horn comment later."

Rin called out for someone a couple minutes later."Sera? We have a friend, do you want to meet him?" Nobody answered though, Rin thought to herself for a moment. Giving Joel enough time to look around, this place looked so dangerous, it reminded him of Azazel's ship, he wondered if it was a pirate ship. "We - I mean, I have a friend. He's Joel!" Rin suddenly said, he turned to look at her, a big smile forming on his face when she met his eyes again.

"And I guess I'm something like a second in command?" Rin suddenly stated, Joel rolled his eyes at the comment.

"What? No way!" Joel said pushing her shoulder a little bit. When he realized she was serious he shook his head, his eyes going big. "Oh wow. You're not kidding. That's great. WOW!" He looked around again before asking her. "So I take it this is a pirate ship then?" He asked curious.

After a while of sitting on the railing peering down at people coming down the docks she decided that she should start cooking something now just encase someone was hungry when they got back. The small sampler she got from Falkor's stand wasn't going to be enough to feed two tiny bottomless pits and Constantine was kind of a pig himself too. Seraphine skipped down to the kitchen, she took some time to stare at the ingredients in her kitchen before she decided that she would make a cuisine meal for tonight. She used the blue orb to light the stove, placing the medium pan over the fire, she began to cook up the skinless and already cut up fish she kept in the cool storage, the one that always touched water so the walls were always cold.

Seraphine added spices in, she memorized which to use from her dear past lover. She learned a lot from Falkor, she was clearly still hurt by his betrayal. However tonight she wouldn't think of that, she would think of her new friends. They were her family for now, she had new priorities that were apart of her new life. Once the fish was done cooking she put the pan's lid over the fish and put it aside. She put the large flattop iron skillet on the stove top, dropping it fast so she wouldn't burn her finger tips. She moved quickly, reaching for a loaf of bread stacked in one crate in the corner between vegetables.

When she returned to the stove she had sliced the bread before placing them on top of the flattop, she flipped them occasionally. When they were done she moved them to a plate and put a white cloth over them to keep them warm. Next she made a sort of creamy broth, using the pan the fish cooked in she added honey milk and some water together, a pinch of spices here and there. She graded cheese up and slowly added it into the pan over boiling hot water. As the ingredients started to mix together into the creamy sauce she knew it was ready.

Seraphine heard someone as she started placing dishes on the counter to make plates."Seraphine, if you're here, I call the shower!" Little Yuna called from down the halls, Seraphine's fox ears pointed to the ground as she listened for Yuna while continuing cooking. 'One day I'll make the perfect mother for a liter of kids' She thought to herself, proud of her ability to multitask.

Even though there was only four people she always made enough food for six. She had put the sampler from Falkor's stand- noodles with the star fruit tangy sweetness taste to it- it kind of had a spicy after taste. Next was the fish meat, she divided it into six plates. Her smile was big as she poured an even amount of sauce over the meat and noodles. Finally she added two slices of bread to each plate. Not sure when they would be ready to eat she put metal plates over each plate of food.

As she was cleaning herself up from the mess she had made she heard Rin, her heart fluttered with the happiest feeling as Rin spoke."Sera? We have a friend, do you want to meet him?" Seraphine wriggled her nose to the unfamiliar scent in the air with Rin's, her stomach felt uneasy and she had a bad feeling. When Seraphine finally found Rin, her face lit up with surprise and Seraphine raced to Rin. Seraphine picked up Rin and rubbed her own face to Rin's before suddenly dropping her."I'm so happy your home! Dinner is ready, I just finis-" Seraphine stopped dead in her tracks as she realized another person was with Rin, she looked up to see who he was and had a distant memory of how she knew him.

When she snapped back in realty she took a step back from the two of them and stared at Joel for a long time before looking at back at Rin."I'm going to go tell Yuna that dinner is ready." She said almost just as fast as she turned around and started walking away. All nine tails were big and fluffed up like she was scared or in danger. Before she went and looked for Yuna however she went back to her room to scream in a pillow.

Once she had gained her composure she continued down the hall to the showers. She knocked on the door and then entered, since it was a shared bathroom. "Yuna, I don't know what to do.. Rin clearly just opened the genie's bottle. He's the one that wouldn't even hand me a knife!" She cried into the showers, she couldn't visibly see little Yuna because of how steamy the room itself was, but Seraphine's ears were pointed to the floor and her tails fell lifeless to the floor.

The hot water felt luxurious on her skin, washing away the dirt and grime of the evening. Yuna hummed to herself as she scrubbed her purple hair and made sure her horn was squeaky clean. "Come here Uni, you need a cleaning too!" Yuna lifted her plush that was waiting just outside of the water and scrubbed the toy until its white fur gleamed. While washing, the door poked open, someone striding inside. [color=#CD96CD]"What's wrong Seraphine?" Yuna inquired, only able to half hear her. She turned the water off and stepped out of the shower stall, reaching for her towel. "He didn't hand you a knife?" Yuna wasn't sure she was getting the full picture here. She wrapped her toy in a towel too and began the arduous process of brushing out her hair.

"A genie?" Yuna's eyes sparkled. "Rin found a genie?" For someone who was technically a mythical creature, she sure was easily infatuated by others. Yuna finished drying herself and her toy off, her eyes sparkling in wonder. "I can't wait to meet him! Unless, he's the reason you're crying?" Her smile drooped. "Then we should... we should... kick him in the shins and run away!" The only defensive move the little unicorn knew, it seemed. She wriggled into her dress and took Seraphine's hand in her own. "Even if he was a bad person though, I bet it's nothing that your food can't fix." Yuna smiled hopefully, her hunger showing perhaps a bit more than she would have liked. "I don't know if it'll fix anything, but maybe talking to him would help?"

Yuna didn't know the entirety of the situation, of course, she did know that she was hungry and wanted to go and eat the delicious food before it became cold. "And if it doesn't work then we kick him out!" Or maybe in the shins if they couldn't kick him off the ship? "It's better to be closer to your enemies, isn't that some sort of saying?" Yuna mused aloud as she lifted her unicorn up. She was still holding Seraphine's hand as she opened up the door to the bathroom and led the two of them out and to the mess hall. "I started working on a new map, the stars here are so vibrant and easy to chart." Yuna said happily, wondering if changing the topic would help. Was it selfish to want to speak a little bit of her work? Did it bore the others? Yuna furrowed her brow. Okay, she wouldn't talk about it, just in case no one else found the constellations to be as interesting as the unicorn did.

Yuna poked her head into the mess hall, spotting Rin and a tall, dark haired figure. Was this the genie Seraphine had spoken of? Yuna released the kitsune's hand, her horn gleaming in the lantern light of the ship. "Okay, we just have to start with introducing ourselves. Maybe he won't remember you?" Yuna suggested hopefully. The poor unicorn was so shy though that her legs were trembling as she stepped into the dining hall. "H-hello," she pulled her toy up to cover the lower half of her face, squeezing the white plush against her. "Rin is-is this your fr-friend?" Yuna inquired softly, remaining by the door, too scared to walk any further into the room.

From the beach he stumbled back to the ship, collapsing on the hull. Where was the boss? How much longer was this going to take? Mickey sniffed the air, something tasty was brewing. His stomach growled something fierce. He had tossed the rest of the star fruit juice into the ocean, otherwise he surely would have chugged the bottle. A pleasant heat was in his stomach and face, more than likely from the alcoholic effects of the drink. Mickey sat up slowly, figuring that he wasn't doing anything for his self image by laying here. He picked up the bags he had dropped off and stumbled to his room, dumping everything onto his bed. "Let's see, ah, here it is." He grinned as he propped the jewel on his head, a crown visually similar to the one that had previously graced his head at prince.

The familiar weight was comforting and the home sickness eased. He made his way out of his room, a bit dizzy, the effects of the drink beginning to wear off. Mickey pulled his shirt off and tied it around his waist, feeling a bit too warm for comfort. "Falkor? Need any help?" He poked his head into the kitchen, his gaze falling onto the large pot. "Smells good, as always." He grinned, nostalgic mood completely erased. Mickey stepped into the doorway, hands on his hips. "So, what can I do? I'm only a little drunk, I could definitely wield a knife and beat up onions or something."

As Constantine ran as fast as his legs would, getting closer by the second, he stopped dead in his tracks and bellows and the top of his lungs"Lilith Rae Yellowstone, I need to speak with you right now!" As Constantine narrowed his eyes so he could this perfect sight to zoom in on Lilith and her strange companion. That's when he noticed something that he hadn't seen in over two decades, that bandanna. There was no mistaking it, Lilith was in grave danger, but now that Constantine had announced himself from half way across the beach, he realized that it may have been a mistake.

Noticing that they were starting to head his direction, Constantine decided to slowly walk towards them, the whole time thinking to himself'Be calm about this, after all it would be foolish and a guaranteed death sentence to try anything rash.' So, Constantine kept slowly walking towards Lilith and her secretive companion. Looking back up the beach from the ocean, Constantine saw it again, that bloody, reddish orange bandanna. There was no mistaking it this time, they were getting closer. Without hesitation Constantine white knuckled the handle of his bone whip and with his left he reached for the khopesh. Constantine was ready for anything. Repeating his favorite mantra to himself"nigh thu sàmhach air do shon mar tonnan a 'chuain." Once he felt calm enough, Constantine released his death grip on his khopesh and reached into his pouch that was hanging on his belt, retrieving his first bottle of nectar.

Popping the lid Constantine held the bottle up to the sky and said with a calmest and semi begging tone"gu na diathan agus is dòcha gun dìon iad sinn uile." With that he downed the whole bottle. As the last drop fell into Constantine's mouth, he lowered his arm. Looking at the bottle an idea came to him.
'I'll fill the bottle with sand water, to celebrate the ten year anniversary of the treaty.' Not wanting to waste an opportunity to make new memories and hopefully good ones this time.

"Who is that yelling your name your highness?"Azazel asked an inquisitive tone. Hiding a smirk, because Azazel knew exactly who it was. He reached down to cut another piece of this intoxicating fruit. After he was done chewing, Azazel reached into his pocket and removed his bandanna to wipe his face once more.

"This star fruit is amazing, but i could really go for some grilled meat and vegetables, are you hungry your majesty?" Azazel asked as he stuffed another big bite into his mouth.

Quickly spinning around Azazel noticed the "figure" getting closer, which made Azazel very nervous. No longer pretending that he wasn't worried about Constantine making a big scene and throwing out accusations, Azazel quickly looked for a place to disappear too. Looking to his immediate left, right, front and even to the rear, Azazel realized that his only escape was to the water.'How do make this look like I'm trying to hide something and more like I'm a scared merchant, what to do?' Azazel thought to himself with a worried face."Aha I've got it!" shouted out loud with a high pitched screech. Not bothering to wait for Lilith's reaction, Azazel immediately threw is hands straight up into the air and began to scream"He's coming right for us, he's coming right for us, run for your lives, Azazel is coming to kidnap us my Queen!"while running straight towards the surf. Azazel jumped into the waves and disappeared from sight.

While heading back towards the ship Falkor decided to take a slight detour. He made a quick adjustment and soon he was headed around the harbor to scout for potential targets after the celebration had ended. Upon review of all the docked ships, Falkor caugh the glimpse of what looked like Azazel running and flailing his arms, then he just disappeared into the waves. Laughing and shaking his head Falkor said with a laugh in his tone"Good old Azazel, never a dull moment when hes around, I'm definetly going to have to seriously mess with Azazel when he returns." Upon further inspection of the situation Falkor noticed Constantine swiftly making his way towards Z and the Queen. landing on the main deck, Falkor jumbled the crates so he wouldn't spill all the contents all over the place. Once he steadied himself and placed the crates Falkor headed straight for the galley.

On his way to his room Falkor passed Mickey, stopped for a quick to answer Mickey's question,"Mickey I could always use help, meet me in the kitchen in ten minutes." Finally alone Falkor began to sort his personal items away, starting with the new custom forged set of butcher knives. Attaching them in proper order, Falkor began to hum his favorite tone from home."If only my parents could see me now, they would be so proud at what I've become. But enough nostalgia, there's cooking and storing to be done." He said to himself standing tall with his new knives at his hip. Not really caring when the rest of the items fell, Falkor rushed out of his room and into the kitchen. Thinking to himself'Hope the pots and pans are hot to start cooking.' Not really knowing how long he'd been in his room, Falkor decided to carry on with his daily routine.

Looking up for a quick second Falkor caught sight of Mickey standing in the door poking his head."First things first my inebriated friend, take a seat. I need you to help me put the spices into my jars. It's not gonna be fun, but it needs to be done. I will join you as soon as I finished steaming the vegetables and seasoning the meats. It's always more fun to have someone in here, get's really boring when you have only yourself to talk to." With that Falkor handed Mickey the jars and the spices."I almost forgot, better put on a bandanna, some of those spices are really potent." Turning back to his meats an veggies Falkor started humming again.

When the time arrived for Falkor to use his new cutlery, he couldn't wait to see how amazing they were. Falkor couldn't get over how detailed the handles are. The way the metal twisted into the perfectly shaped talons that held the only heirloom his family had. It was a combination of a lapis stone mixed with a tigers eye and had the finish of a fire opal."Let's see what this baby can do." Falkor yelled with a high pitched girlish voice. As Falkor made his first cut into the fresh ham, a memory of Seraphine played in his head. After entertaining this memory for a moment, Falkor took that new butcher knife and stabbed it into the counter top with all his mite."Seraphine where ever you are I still love you!" Falkor screamed at the top of his lungs, falling to his knees with tears running down his cheeks, he looked up to see Mickey still sitting there."****, Mickey I thought you had left, you weren't suppose to hear that. Pretend like this whole thing never happened."

Not really embarrassed, more pissed, that he let himself get that out of control on the ship Falkor stood up and went back to slicing the ham.

❝Maybe if beat her the world will make sense for once.❞

Tarun glared at his crewmates as they entered the ship, getting ready to go. Mickey was here, Falkor was here too, and he didn't get along with them really. They were just more examples of talented people, not insignificant weak people like him. Some people just weren't meant to be skilled - and Tarun hoped that he wasn't one. They ignored him and he ignored them too, too hurt by his failure to really try to make friends. It would've been nice if he'd been able to say goodbye to Lily before they had to head out again, but it was too late for that. She couldn't even say he was sorry to Yuna either, for what he did. "Not that you deserve it anyways." Fake Yuna laughed in his ears, prancing about in his mind. He tried to wave her out.

Well, he might as well go practice with his swords then. Ignoring the delicious food Falkor could do, Tarun decided to try to make use of the training he received from his old boss. Under the poop deck of the ship he retrieved his two swords from his quarters, then began to train. Hard at work he did the drills to sharpen his movements, his footwork, his speed and accuracy with his dual blades. He wasn't bad, but he could feel Rin giggling at him and teasing him for not being good enough, not being fast enough. If he was anything it was persistent and he kept on trying to kill the image of Rin in his head that took her own sword and practiced against him. He would win. Next time he met her, he would win at any cost.

❝Maybe if I save him he'll be a good brother again.❞

"No, Yuna's a girl." Rin assured her new old friend as they entered the ship, a nice smell wafting about the place. "Don't be so dirty in front of her, she's too innocent for that!" The former princess said with a giggle, enjoying having him back. It all just felt so nice. If only Run could go back to his old self from what felt like thousands of years ago when he was nice and a bit shy, preferring to read books rather than learn how to fight, if only she could bring that brother back then maybe everything would be okay. Would they like him? Rin sure hoped so! Joel always did his best within the constraints of his rules, and that was something to be admired in someone.

With anticipation Rin nodded, almost hopping on the balls of her feet as she did so. She told him about her position on this ship, earning exactly what she expected from the enigmatic genie -a mixture of excitement, disbelief, and maybe even a bit of pride, if she wasn't overthinking this of course. "Our goal is to defend the treaty." Rin explained to hopefully clarify what her purpose here was. She herself didn't care too much about it - her main wish here was to protect the smiles of her friends on the ship and repay the debt she owed to Constantine, her savior and big brother figure. Sera exclaimed that she was going to go tell Yuna that dinner was ready so Rin decided to get herself ready to eat too, removing her specially-made shoes that could fit her talon feet and brushing off any extra sand from her now ruined dress.

Eventually Yuna and Sera, both cleaned up, were spotted by Rin and Joel as she was showing him the place, following the smell of their food. Yuna, the tiny adorable unicorn, began with her introductions. "See, she's adorable!" Rin nudged Joel with a tiny cracked smile. "Yes, this is my friend. Don't worry, he's bound to my wishes and won't hurt you. His name is Joel!" Her eyes told the genie to play nice with little timid Yuna, she was a little bad with people but as Joel was her friend she wanted everyone to get along. "And the fox girl is Sera. Which, by the way..." Pulling out her second bottle, Rin grinned at everyone. "I have Starfruit Nectar ready for after the meal! I don't know what it does, but I heard it's a delicacy of the island." The bottle was very well contained and the liquid inside was almost begging for Rin to drink it.

❝Maybe if beat her the world will make sense for once.❞

Run was busy imagining killing Rin by cutting her head off after beating her in a duel - no, just kidding. Even though he was working hard his mind always failed him, as if it couldn't fathom the idea of being able to beat Rin in a duel of blades. He had fallen over onto his back as the imaginary Rin jabbed and now her imaginary rapier was at his throat. "Now what a surprise, you can't even beat a fake version of her." Yuna giggled, laughing at her and his ears burned red in shame and misery. "I'll never be good for anything." He murmured, shaking his head, trying to get it out of his system. That was when he heard the call, Mickey's voice. Must be nice to have talent. Too bad he had none - anything he tried, Rin did better. The only thing he was ever good at was reading, but when did that ever matter?

"Yeah, yeah, I'm here." The food was delicious and he dug in, giving Falkor a grudging scowl of approval for the food. Not that he needed them. Falkor's wings were probably better anyways. Ugh, all of this negativity was getting annoying! He just needed to keep trying, that was all he needed! But that dumb Genie's laughing kept itching in the back of his mind despite it all. "Food's good." He eyes the starfuit nectar greedily, wishing for a bit of respite from his own hopeless head. Mickey and Falkor were swapping tales, but Mithras, Run's home, was nothing but pain and failed expectations and disappointment. He probably didn't even have any cool stories to tell. Oh, if only Rin was here for real, then maybe Mickey and Falkor could beat her and he could cut off her legs or something.

Oh, the food was really good.

...

When would he get to stop being a burden?

❝Maybe if I save him he'll be a good brother again.❞

Rin was all smiles as Joel tried to make nice but the second in command didn't earn that position because she had a good smile. "Um, one second, Joel. We - I need to talk to them." There was something wrong, maybe more than Yuna's normal anxiety and Sera wasn't her usual touch feely self. Sure, Rin didn't exactly enjoy contact, but still, something was wrong when Sera didn't at least try to touch her wings once a day. Constantine was babysitting, so it was up to her to take care of the crew. "Hey, Yuna, Sera, is something wrong?" Still holding the bottle, she approached them so Joel hopefully wouldn't hear. "Is it my friend? I can tell him to wear something nicer, if you want?"

Yuna was a bit too much stammering than her normal shyness, and Seraphina was being odd with, but for the fox girl it was a bit harder to place. Her eyes furrowed, was it the nectar? "I'm sure it's just juice?" She never heard of Starfruit nectar being anything but just normal juice, right? The guy at the stall said as much anyways. After trying to find out what was bothering them, she decided to give in and give Yuna and Sera both a hug, despite the chills running down her spine. "I'll listen to anything you need." She told them, before skipping back to her seat next to Joel to dig into the delicious meal Sera had so kindly made for them. "I don't know what you mean by party, but this does look good." She gave Joel a strange stare.

Well, whatever. Food finished, it was time to drink! Rin poured some into a glass for herself, the sparkling of the nectar very nice to the eye. She downed it... and then she felt loopy and strange. Her head was spinning and so Rin stood up abruptly. "Poison? Was I poisoned?" She asked in the haze of confusion and happiness. Wait, happiness? Rin was so lost that she tripped over her own feet, landing face first on the wood of the ship. "Joel, help, I'm poisoned! But it's a happy poison?" Cheeks flushed, mind going in fifty circles at once, Rin flopped around, wings exploding out of her back, then she sat down, trying to make sense of anything.

A strange energy was welling up inside of her.

Rin decided to dance. That was a bad idea, of course, because suddenly she tripped over Joel's head somehow and fell over again. Whatever this poison was, it was going to kill her! "H-help?" She asked, crying. "Poison?" What even was going on anymore? Why was no one helping her?

"Okay Mickey, I'll tell you a story of love and loss. But if you back out of your share, I promise you will fly higher than you ever have before." Falkor said promisingly.

"Only because today is a special day I will humor you. Grab a chair and that nectar. I'll grab the mugs." Falkor yelled as he headed to his room to grab his custom mugs. The only time these mugs ever get brought out is for special occasions. Upon returning to the galley, Falkor placed the mugs on the prep counter."Up until this day only two other people have seen these mugs. I brought these mugs all the way here from my home planet, where I obtained after I slit the throat of the highest ranking general of the rebellion." Falkor bragged as he filled the mugs to the brim. After downing the whole mug in one gulp, then refilling once Falkor cleared his throat, looked at his feet. Raising his head with a big sigh, Falkor began his story.

"After I came through the portal and landed on Eden, I spent the first few months adjusting to everything, but once I found my way I began to head towards the markets that i knew of. After bouncing from market place to butcher shop, I came across the most beautiful I had ever seen in the entire universe. When i came across her, she was frightened and full of rage. I talked her into joining me for some food down by the water, away from humans. That's where my solo journey ended and our journey began. I introduced my self and asked her name, where she came from and why she was alone. Her name was sweeter than the star fruit's pure juice, Seraphine and she had nine tails that were absolutely perfect. She told me that she had been created by humans. As some sort of sick experiment, to see if they could cross breed a human and a fox. She spent her whole life in a science lab, being tested and tortured." Falkor had stopped suddenly stopped talking at quickly turned around. Grabbing a bandanna out of his pocket he wiped his eyes and mouth.

Turning back around, Falkor poured some more nectar into both mugs."Where was I, oh yeah. So, after years of torment and abuse she manged to use her strength and over power the guards and kill the scientists that did this. Escaping and running as far and fast as she could, she ended up in the market place where I ran into her. I told her that I wasn't human either, but being through everything she had been, Seraphine wasn't buying my story. So, I proved that I wasn't human, other than this appearance that I have. We walked down the beach a few hundred feet and that's when I showed I true form. I climbed the cliff side and jumped, transforming into my "raven like" form. After that Sera and I were inseparable. We opened our own butcher and food shop. I taught her everything there is to know about being a butcher and chef." Falkor exclaimed with a smirk on his face. Followed by downing his whole mug again. Feeling a little tipsy and nostalgic Falkor looked back at Mickey,"Your turn 'fish man,' lets here the tales of your home."

Constantine stopped dead in his tracks as he watched Azazel running around like a little child. HE couldn't help but chuckle just a little before heading to Lilith. As he got closer Constantine began to talk rather loudly, so that Lilith couldn't say she didn't hear him."Do you know who that was Lilith? I'll tell you who that was. That was the one man that I fair warned you about. Did you not notice the bandanna? What have you done to the dress that I picked out for you"

By the time Constantine reached Lilith he was mad, but curious as to what those two talked about."My little apprentice, I have finally found you. We are heading straight for my ship, where I can keep an eye on you. We also have a lot to discuss." Constantine said sternly, but he also gave Lilith a big hug and whispered in her ear"I was so worried about you, I thought maybe Azazel had kidnapped you or that you were hurt. Please don't run off like that again." As he let go of her he gave Lilith a kiss on the forehead. Together they headed for the ship.

After a long awkwardly silent walk to the docks, Constantine pulled down the rope ladder and said"Alright climb up." Following Lilith, Constantine climbed. Once he reached the deck, he led Lilith toward the mess, assuming that Lilith was hungry. Along the way to the mess, Constantine stopped Lilith saying"I have something for you my Queen. I hope you like it, I had it made special for this occasion." Reaching into his coat pocket he pulled out the necklace that he picked up at the market. Showing it to Lilith he quietly asked" Do you like it?" As he reached around her neck to put it on her.

Finally reaching the mess after Constantine's many stops, they came upon everyone in the mess, plus a brand new member."Rin, Yuna, Sera, I have orders for you all. You all know Queen Lilith, from now till we leave, the Queen will be our guest. She is by no means to be out of anyone's sight till" Azreal's Fortune" has left port and is out on the high seas. Do you all understand my orders. Your majesty I must excuse myself, I must do my rounds. My crew will treat you well. Have a pleasant evening all, I shall see you at first light." Constantine instructed.

Running and screaming like a little child as he jumped into the water, was the last thing that Azazel wanted to do .But it was the only way to avoid detection and a confrontation from Constantine. Thinking to himself as he drifted through the water,'I missed this so much, I need to do this more often. As Azazel closed in on his ship he pushed himself towards the surface. Once he was above the waves he skied across the surface. Using his ability, Azazel had the water place him on the deck.

Once his feet were back on the wooden planks of the main deck, Azazel let out a sigh of relief. Not because he's scared of Constantine or Lilith and her Royal Guard, but because he was home again."I really need to shower and get something to eat. All this star fruit has my head all messed up. ONWARD to the showers." Azazel screamed as he stumbled towards his quarters.

When Azazel reached the top of three stairs,he almost face planted. But that didn't stop him from walking and disrobing simultaneously. Eventually making it to the shower, Azazel turned the water to scolding hot, grabbed the nectar bottle and disappearing into the steam. Finding his way through the steam was a lot harder than Azazel anticipated,"You're turning into a little weight old man. Getting Lilith to come easily, is no longer the plan. We are going to kidnap her after Constantine and his merry brats leave tomorrow, yes that's what we will do KIDNAP LILITH!" Screamed Azazel as he laughed maniacally.

After his refreshing and sobering shower, Azazel dressed in his favorite outfit. Wrapped across his face was his bandanna. Looking in the mirror,"No one can stop this plan, not even the Gods themselves, hahahahaha." Azazel laughed as he made his way to the mess."Man am I glad to have Falkor cooking again, I maybe be a King but whatever they were cooking on land was definitely not fit for anyone."

When Azazel was only a few feet from the mess, he over heard Falkor talking."After that Sera and I were inseparable. We opened our own butcher and food shop. I taught her everything there is to know about being a butcher and chef." Falkor exclaimed with a smirk on his face. Followed by downing his whole mug again. Feeling a little tipsy and nostalgic Falkor looked back at Mickey,"Your turn 'fish man,' lets here the tales of your home." Not wanting to miss out on any of the story that he had heard a few times before, Azazel leaned up against the wall peering in, he saw Mickey sitting there quiet and contently listening. Seeing Mickey, Azazel decided to waited for Falkor to finish his story before bursting in.

After being dragged around with Constantine lecturing her this way and that way, she was finally able to come to her senses. She stood fast, slamming her palm on the table to stop Constantine dead in his tracks."Excuse me? There's important business I do need to attend too at the castle. I can't afford to just sit here on your ship with a bunch of drunken pirates." She stated, gesturing to the group at the mess hall table, drinking the nectar. She grabbed the glass that Seraphine slid to her and drank the small amount inside.

"Please, continue to enjoy the celebration for as long as this old fart will let you." Lilith said to the group before turning to look at Constantine."Since you have your rounds to do, AT THE CASTLE. Then you can keep an eye on me." Lilith said, taking his hand. She waved one last time to everyone else who seemed puzzled by the scene of events. "No, but really I have a lot of stuff to do." Lilith told Constantine as they walked off the wooden plank that was attached to the docks and his ship.

They walked in silence to the castle, Lilith would occasionally fidget with the necklace Constantine had just given her. On her way back to the castle, she was stopped by many people. She would hug them and tell them to enjoy their night before carrying on. Finally when she made it to the courtyard she said goodbye to Constantine as Merlin and Viktor came to retrieve her.

"Queen Lilith! Where the .... have you been?" Merlin yelled at her, making her cringe as she walked in between the two.

"Excuse me for enjoying the holiday." Lilith muttered under her breath.

"You don't get to enjoy any holidays! You are the queen!" Merlin answered her, yanking her arm all the way to her office where she was left alone to sign papers.

Lilith carefully went over all the orders making sure every last item was on the correct list, then signing them and using her magic to send them off to their corresponding parties. After a while of boredom she would start dancing while she read the books, letters and respond to allies in need of either men or materials. Hours went by before she was done, as she exited her office she found it strange that the halls were so empty but outside there was still laughing and singing from all the night owls still partying. She found it strange that no guards followed her to her room, wondering where they could all be.

As Lilith turned down the hall that would led to her room she saw a servant pulling a small wagon of nectar juice. She stepped in front of him, stopping him."Is there a way I could get you to take this to my room?" She asked softly and sweetly. The servant stuttered his reply."Y-Yes, your majesty! Of course! A-At once!" He said, that made her smile.

She closed her bedroom door after he left and grabbed one of the bottles. "Time to enjoy my night in the safety of my own home." She said as she walked to her balcony. Below was a cliff into the water, out in the beyond was nothing but the sea for miles. Lanterns were being released from the ocean by many people on boats of all sizes. Lilith smiled to herself as she took a big gulp of the nectar.

After finishing the first bottle she entered her room, and then her closet. She put on her bedtime robes, a purple shear dress that should really not be seen by anyone but her lover. "If I had someone to call mine..this one's to you, where ever you are." She said as she popped the screw off the next bottle. She took another big gulp, swallowing her loneliness and sadness in the sweet nectar.

"Um, one second, Joel. We - I need to talk to them." Rin told Joel, he nodded turning around and walking out the way they had came in. He wasn't too sure what was going on, but he really didn't care either way. He wasn't there nearly long enough to slightly care if something was wrong or not. He decided after a while he would go back in and just sit down in the spot that Rin had pointed out earlier.

Joel laughed when Rin didn't understand what he meant about the word 'party'. He shook his head, deciding if he remembered later he would explain to her. As he ate, he realized that Rin tried some of the nectar. "Poison? Was I poisoned?" She suddenly said, making Joel laugh loud. "Joel, help, I'm poisoned! But it's a happy poison?" Joel took the bottle from her hands and downed the rest of it!

"This is normal Rin. Calm down, your freaking out for no reason. This is what I meant by partying. This juice makes you feel silly. It's a good type of poison. I'm sure even Azazel is all wacky right now because of this stuff." Joel said as he held out his hand, within seconds a bottle just appeared there in his hand.

Rin started freaking out again so Joel walked over to her after she asked if it was poison again. "Rin, your being dramatic. It's supposed to do this to you."

The fox lady was not helping as she cracked up at her companion, she was probably making the little unicorn girl confused and scared. Joel looked up at them and shook his head. "Seraphine, right? Your not helping!" He roared at her, however she just kept laughing.

It wasn't until Constantine coming in with Lilith right behind until everyone was silent for a moment. When Constantine suddenly said that they had to watch Lilith, Seraphine made a groaning sound but then lightened up when Lilith said she had to go.

"What just happened?" Joel asked confused after the two left just as quickly as they showed up.

Seraphine stood up and walked around the table, grabbing the dishes that were empty."Those two are impossible. They are both royals, and pain in the .... They constantly are at each others throats. However Constantine doesn't really have the high ground since he works for Lilith." Seraphine said the last part as she was leaving the room. She held up the dishes as a way of excusing herself.

Joel shook his head and looked at Rin."You okay Annie?" He said, an old joke that would fly past everyone's heads.

Image

Seraphine smiled at Rin as she reached over to pinch her cheek."I am fine my dear, I have a bad past with your genie but it's okay." She told her friend honestly, before stuffing her face with noddles and fish. She enjoyed her own cooking so much, call her cocky or arrogant but she would only eat her own cooking, or Falkor's.

Seraphine couldn't help but to laugh uncontrollably as Rin tried the juice."It's okay Yuna, we are off duty tonight. You can have a little sip just to say you've tried it." Seraphine told her as she grabbed the bottle and poured Yuna a shot of the nectar. She smiled at Yuna, letting her know it was okay as Seraphine took a small sip herself.

Suddenly Constantine came back, as she greeted him her smile soon turned to a frown as Lilith came in behind him, making Seraphine groan. She was forced to take a seat at the table with everyone else. Seraphine poured her a shot of the juice and slid it down to her, even though Lilith didn't see it coming she still caught it. Lilith turned to give Seraphine a strange look before she stood and slammed her palm on the table making Seraphine jump.

"Excuse me? There's important business I do need to attend too at the castle. I can't afford to just sit here on your ship with a bunch of drunken pirates." Lilith told Constantine. Seraphine smirked and whispered."You go girl!" under her breath.

Seraphine stood up after Lilith turned and told all of them to enjoy the celebration."Thank you, your majesty." She said bowing to the queen. When the two left, and she could only smell their scent faintly she turned to the rest of her companions and laughed."I think it's great that Lilith has Constantine wrapped around her little finger. She puts that cranky old pirate into line." Seraphine laughed before she got up.

Joel asked what was up with those two and Seraphine replied with "Those two are impossible. They are both royals, and pain in the .... They constantly are at each others throats. However Constantine doesn't really have the high ground since he works for Lilith." She had all the empty dishes in her hands now, she motioned the dishes upwards at the group as she left the mess hall.

Once she made it back to the kitchen she washed each of the dishes instead of putting them away she kept them out as she started to cut up a couple different types of fruit, including the starfruit. She mixed all the fruit together and sprinkled sugar on the fruit. Next she divided the whole fruit mix onto the four plates and then carried them back out to the mess hall. "I made a healthy dessert." She stated, she put three plates down and put a special plate down in front of Yuna, that didn't have much star fruit pieces in the fruit salad.

❝Maybe if beat her the world will make sense for once.❞

Listening as Falkor spoke about love made his chest twinge. Yuna, Run wanted to see her again. Would they ever get to meet as something other than enemies? Sure, it was partly his fault - mostly his stupid sister's fault really - but still, it was pain anyways. Falkor sounded as if whoever he was in love with, this Seraphine who Run vaguely remembered from the ship with the old losers back with the Pirate King and his overly happy team. "Must be nice to have had someone." He mumbled as he ate the way too delicious food, trying not to feel jealous as he always did. Skill with cooking, why couldn't he have had any skill with which he could use to seduce Yuna? "What skill? You were never good for anything, it's silly to think I could love you."

Next Mickey told a tale of home after trying to get him to slow down his stuffing of his face. As the fish told him that he began to cough, almost choking on the food he was wolfing down, his plate pretty much all but consumed now, nothing but tiny little remainders of what used to be a dish left. Mickey began to regale them with tales of home under the sea, Run feeling somewhat sick as this only brought back reminders of his own life back in Mithras. "My son, your job is to earn me the title of Queen and become the promised Heir." Every night his mother sang into his ears. "You worthless brat, is it so hard to beat that girl? She's just a girl, why can't you show her up!" Run rubbed his cheek, still feeling the sting of the slap he received after every failure. All he wanted to was please her and show that he could be a good son, why couldn't win just once?

"It's because you're not good enough." Rin said one day, offering him a worm pie, two children who were playmates. "You need to get stronger and then I'm sure you can beat me." Run remembered asking her why she couldn't just let him win, why she couldn't go easy on him for once. He just wanted to read, to bury his nose into the pages of a book. It was only his mother's prodding that pushed him onto this path of ruin. "Because then it won't feel like a real win, right?" Even a fake win would feel better than endless losses, than disappointing his mother and getting beat again and again.

Mickey noticed the captain, so Run looked up at him, frowning slightly. He stood up, trying to shake the despair out of his worthless little mind. "Captain." He said as Mickey showed him the best seat at the house. "When can we fight the Pirates?" Suddenly he had an idea, he knew how he would be able to beat his sister. He just wanted a chance to show it off for real, this secret plot for victory. "I want to bring her back and then we can all share the torture, it'll be fun." He could see it, the clear path to winning.

"I think I know how to beat her."

❝Maybe if I save him he'll be a good brother again.❞

Rin was something between dizzy and nauseous as she sat back down, trying to listen to the swarming of voices buzzing around her head. Something similar to Joel telling her that wasn't poison, someone laughing her head off, loud and bright like Sera's voice, even the sound of a child enjoying the nectar and telling her that it wasn't poison. Now that was just embarrassing, Rin had an even weaker constitution for this than Yuna? Did it have something to do with her being a unicorn and Rin being a harpy? She tried to fight it off and regain her composure because this was just undignified, really. Still, a part of her did like the chance to just... be stupid for once. "My head's whirling." She mumbled, almost stumbling over the words as her wings flapped aimlessly.

It was around then that two new people joined the party. The captain, Constantine was here. Rin tried to rub at her eyes and sit up straight to look as dignified as she could with her flushed cheeks and slight swaying as she sat. The nectar, it was so amazingly good but at the same time she really was not sure she liked losing control of herself like this. It reminded her of one incident in the past where she and her brother were both given a shot of alcohol by father. Run was able to handle it of course, taking it like a man but Rin flopped over in moments, unable to hold it in the slightest. "Captain, Meirin ready for duty, I'm not - We are perfectly okay, we - I mean I - I'm..." She stammered into silence, wondering why she couldn't even say the slightest of words. Worst of all, Lilith was here, the irresponsible Queen! At least Yuna and Sera were okay, there was some history but that was for Joel and Sera to work out, it wasn't Rin's business. Meanwhile Yuna was just being her shy self.

As Lilith was about to leave Rin took a deep breath to fortify her mind. "Have a nice night, Queen." She said in her usual professional manner, then she grinned proud of herself before she could understand what even the heck an Annie was. "Joel, I wish that - no, no, I don't actually?" She was about to wish to not be drunk anymore but she luckily caught herself before it was too late. She had to save them, wishes were precious resources! Yuna too, was checking up on her. "We're okay." She said, slipping back into the royal 'We' as she took Yuna's hand and gave it a comforting squeeze. "Just tipsy." At least she could string together words now, maybe the worst of the buss was over and done with.

The salad was wonderful! "Ish really good!" But now there was one problem - now Rin was feeling a spike in the buzz and she held her head before falling overlanding on something that did not feel like hard wooden floor but rather like Joel's lap instead.

After Falkor was done reminiscing about the past, he dove into his plate of pork and vegetables. In between shoveling food in his "beak," Falkor downed many more glasses of nectar. Though he didn't seem like Falkor was paying attention to Mickey, he was very intently listening.

"Seraphine and I broke do to the fact that we had apposing views on which crew to join. I personally wanted to have a life of adventure and over taking smaller ships. Seraphine didn't want any of that, she felt her calling was on Constantine's ship protecting people and making sure the treaty is never broken. I've seen first hand what Royalty call "protecting" it's people. What a joke, all they care about are themselves. That's why up till I met our Captain here, I hated and purposely took missions that dealt pain and suffering to the rich, pompous Royals of my planet and here too." Falkor spewed angrily. Stopping himself before he said to much more, he looked over at Mickey with an inquisitive expression.

"So, Mickey besides the pure beauty of your castle, what was it like to be a fish with arms and legs?" Falkor muttered laughingly, barely being able to keep himself in his chair."No, but seriously Mickey, did your father treat as an equal or his heir or were you exiled from war strategies and all the planning it took to run a country? I ask because if we end up paired on a mission, I need to know you can come up a plan if and when things hit the fan." Falkor expressed concernedly."This may just be the nectar talking, but did you ever date any "real" fish Mickey?" Falkor joked.

"What's good Captain? I made grub if you're hungry." He said nonchalantly moving from the counter over to the table. Flopping down in his usual chair, Falkor looked over at Azazel holding up a bottle of nectar."Can I top off your glass, your majesty?" Falkor asked unsteadily."I know you were standing on the other side of the wall since I started my story about Sera, I heard you heading this way all the way from your room. So, what's your story sir, do you have a lost love?" Falkor asked pryingly."Come on sir, it's a night of celebration, plus I already your amazing show on the beach earlier," Falkor spoke eyeing Azazel over his plate.

"Don't think you're getting out of this either Runt. Since, everyone was so intrigued to here my sob story, you gotta spill your guts too." Falkor stressed sternly."We've all dealt with love, loss, anger, hatred and misfortune. I'll let you decide between your lost love or how you came to this ship." Falkor managed to fumble out of his numb lips

Standing outside the galley, Azazel heard everything Falkor was saying, even though he heard this story quite a few times. Azazel thought to himself'This never ends well, which I use to my advantage.'

"Azazel, you don't have to hide, this is your ship!" Mickey said as he hiccuped. "Want some grub Captain?" Mickey offered, sliding a plate towards his seat at the head. Before entering the galley Azazel put his bandanna back over his nose and mouth. He walked over to his "throne," this enormous chair looked more a decorative piece, rather than something you actually sit in. Azazel had brought his "throne" with from his home world.' Being king has it's perks.' Azazel thought to himself as him slumped into his chair. Grabbing the plate Mickey had slide him, with out even looking Azazel started grabbing handfuls of meat and vegetables and stuffed his mouth. After listening to Falkor speak of his split from Sera.

Azazel couldn't help be rethink the time he spent with Lilith, with out realizing it he had a crooked smirk come across his face."Can I top off your glass, your majesty?" Falkor asked unsteadily."I know you were standing on the other side of the wall since I started my story about Sera, I heard you heading this way all the way from your room. So, what's your story sir, do you have a lost love?" Falkor asked pryingly."Come on sir, it's a night of celebration, plus I already your amazing show on the beach earlier," Falkor spoke eyeing Azazel over his plate.

"My story isn't that interesting. But since we are planning this game on the one night we can't do anything fun, I will humor my crew this one time. Before I start this story we are gonna need a lot more star fruit and nectar." Azazel exclaimed as he held up his glass."To the craziest, most loyal, down right savage crew of mine!" He screamed at the top of his lungs.

After downing five straight cups of nectar, Azazel felt that he was the right amount of drunk to tell this story."Alright my scurvy crew, you talked me into it. My story is a bit more twisted then a disagreement or being kidnapped and whatever happened to you Runt. I grew up on planet that only knew war and famine. Being the only heir to the throne of the planet, I was thrown into battle before I could fully use my powers. My father was the king and his greedy, ungrateful brother was trying to over throw him. I wasn't aloud to be alone ever." Azazel paused for a second to down another cup.

With the final swallow of the nectar" The day finally came where the king and his brother faced off in open combat. Since I was the heir to throne I was placed next to my father as we charged head on, into the opposing army. With extremely heavy losses on both sides, my uncle wanted to settle this war with a one on one fight. My father being the brave man he was accepted the challenge. My father lost his life that day, but I avenged him. I snuck into my uncle's tent while he slept, I drew his own dagger and slit his throat. Feeling like my father had avenged, I grabbed the crown, placed it on my head and walked out the front of the tent. The guards came charging at me, but it my culture if you kill the king you become king, only if you come from royal blood that is. From the age of ten till I abandoned my people when I turned one hundred twenty, I ruled that planet with an iron fist. Then one day a mystic appeared, offering me a magic spell to open a rift where I could spy on whoever I chose. All he asked for in return was lodging for the night." Once again Azazel paused, but this time to eat more.

"With the magic spell I opened a rift to spy on the Royal family for the Island of Te-Fiti. More specifically, Queen Lilith. I watched her grow up, but that wasn't enough. I wanted the throne. So, I murdered her family, but little did I know that Constantine was already in the picture. I was forced into signing this stupid treaty and also being exiled following the treaty. My heart belongs to Queen Lilith, but my only true loves are War and the Ocean." Azazel exclaimed as he got up from his chair and left the galley with out another word.

❝Maybe if beat her the world will make sense for once.❞

Suddenly the attention was on him. Run squirmed, not really wanting to talk about his pathetic past. He really just wanted to escape to his room and read the same old book over and over again because at least in the world of books, no one could bother him. It was like escapism, wouldn't you say? Luckily he was saved by the Captain who decided to quite figuratively spill his guts on his past and his story, a lot of which revolved around probably the only friend he had anymore. He told his story of war and then he just suddenly left before anyone could say anything about it. It was illuminating to say the least. But how was he supposed to tell his own story after something like that? Not that there was much to tell, his just wasn't interesting like everyone else. But he had a feeling Falkor wasn't going to just let him escape, either.

He looked away, pulling at the collar of his shirt in an attempt to be tough. "W-well, um... I don't know if any of you have heard of Mithras?" The Kingdom of the Harpies in the land far north of here in the frigid arctic circle, above where Russia once was back before it existed. "I'm the prince. Or used to be the prince. Or something." He paused to give them time to laugh if they wanted, to laugh at such a weak person being a prince. "Father was quite the womanizer, ending up with getting two kids from different mothers. Then he had the bright idea to have them both compete for the throne. Of course, which kid won, their mom would get to be Queen." He made an awkward sort of laugh then, remembering the past. "Rin and I were friends back then, almost? I liked to sit in my room and read books and she would come with me and watch."

But the competition got worse and any chance they had of a good sibling relationship was ruined. "But Father's idiocy continued, the two concubines kept on squabbling and using us as political pawns and Rin had always been better than I was." A twisted sort of smile came to his face as he remembered the next moment. "I was sick of it, so I decided to change everything. You see, everyone hated the King, he was a tyrant, he brutalized the commoners! So it was easy to rile them up into revolution, so they destroyed the place, Rin and I ended up on the Pirate King's ship for a while..." His stomach churned as he tried to get rid of Yuna's image in his mind. "But they were too happy and dumb for me so I left and now I'm here." The former prince looked away, knowing his story wasn't all that cool and impressive.

There was a lot more he could have talked about, like being tortured by the commoners as revenge against the Monarchy, of being put in a strange shield magic by Rin because she pitied that he couldn't defend himself from the betrayal, or how he had to be trained by Captain Constantine in order to once again compete over the position of second in command, or of the fleeting childish crush he had on Yuna... there was no need to tell any of that, was there?

The whole day played in Lilith's head, on a constant replay, she remembered what Constantine said as he dragged her to his ship before she had returned home. The bandanna. The one guy she wasn't supposed to be alone with. The whole conversation she thought she was having with a local merchant turned out to be the one person she wasn't supposed to be alone with..

Lilith sunk down to the floor of the balcony, all she could hear was her heart pounding in her chest. "This is a panic attack.." She told herself as the bottle of nectar fell to the floor, an high pitched 'ping' sound brought her hearing back to realty as she took deep breathes trying to calm her own heart rate. She had an uneasy feeling like she was being watched, even if she wasn't.

Lilith leaned her head back against the stone railing, looking up at the stars that shined down above her. Her heart was somewhere in the sea, constantly calling her while her title kept her on the island. She didn't want to be the political queen, what good would that do if she wasn't out there fighting for her people? What was the point of having three thousand guards on the island to ensure the peace if she couldn't leave? "If you want to be out there fighting for your people, you need to learn how to deal with the court first." She told herself, trying to remember the many lessons her mother had taught her.

Thinking of her parents was just something she couldn't handle right now, it just made her think of being on the beach alone with Azazel. Then after that she thought of Constantine, and her head just hurt when she thought about him. She had this horrible sick feeling in the pit of her stomach. Feelings of pain, happiness, and confusion set in and she groaned angerily. "That stupid pirate!" She screamed, picking up the nectar bottle and throwing it off the balcony somewhere into the sea.

It wasn't even three seconds later she heard a knock on her door, then it opened. It was the stupid pirate she had literally just yelled about. There's no doubt. He heard that. Lilith groaned as he announced his self, suddenly feeling like a stupid queen. Lilith picked herself up from the balcony floor as she heard Constantine stepping into her room. She didn't see him before the black sheer curtains that blocked her view from her bedroom door. It was a warning to the servants if they crossed that line of the room while the curtains were closed she would throw a knife at them.

Lilith looked to the floor as she heard Constantine's voice through the curtains as she walked to the wagon of nectar she had the servant bring to her room. She popped the bottle, and took small sips as she listened to want he had to say."Lilith, I am so sorry for the way I treated you this evening. I had no right to try and control you like that. I'm not making excuses, but I was very startled after seeing you with you mysterious guest, which I have yet to tell you who that was. Yes, I know him and so do you."

'You said keywords, Constantine.. He isn't very mysterious.. Lilith thought to herself as he continued making her smirk with his next comment almost to the point she forgot how mad she was at him because of how clueless he thought she was. She could get away with murdering his entire crew and he wouldn't think she was capable of doing it. Of course this would probably never happen but if she was suppose to be an airhead because she wanted to escape her political life then what else was she supposed to compare it too?

"Okay, I was actually mad at you." Lilith said as she paced on the other side of the curtain."For some really valid reasons. First reason, you constantly treat me like some little kid that is a horrible burden to you." She took a short pause to take another sip of her drink.

"Second reason, you dragged me to your ship and humiliated me in front of your entire crew, making me out to be some clueless airhead. Thirdly, you still think even though you mentioned keywords, like, oh I don't know... How about.. 'bandanna' and still have the nerve to come in here and think I still don't know who you are talking about." Lilith shook her head as she gulped down the rest of the bottle, her head felt silly afterwards.

"Lucky for you however.. The perks to being Queen, is you can talk a servant into bringing a largely unnecessary amount of nectar juice to your room no questions asked." She told him as she opened up the curtains a tiny bit.

She didn't get a good look at Constantine, she quickly retreated to get more nectar juice."The conversation I had with Azazel honestly wasn't as bad as you would think. Now he's way more cockier than I originally thought, his 'big retreat' plan when you showed up was pretty pathetic." She said as she struggled to open the third bottle, after almost giving up she grabbed one of her many star daggers and shoved it on the cork before pulling it off, the blade slipped out of her hand and stuck on the wall behind her. She turned to look at the dagger and then turned back to Constantine."......" She cursed eyes bug eyed.

Joel tried to choke down the laugh as Rin almost made her first wish."That was a close one." He muttered as he helped Rin steady herself in her chair. His eyes shifted from Rin to Yuna when she asked if they were okay, luckily Rin answered her. Joel didn't feel like trying to explain it to a child."How does a kid get a job as a pirate?" He asked out of pure curiosity.

As Joel started eating the dessert that the fox brought out, he started to dread giving them even more nectar. Everyone expect the fox was acting strange. Joel could suddenly see this all going a different way then he intended. He knew he had to get them in bed soon. Then he'd figure out what the fox's deal was..

As everyone was laughing and having a great time, eating the fruit salad somewhere in all the fun Rin's head went from almost having it under control to having her head in his lap. Joel blushed, and looked away, putting his hand in front of his face while he got his ... together. Once he was good he laughed it off, standing and scooping up Rin as he did, tugging her wings into his arms as well. He tried not to hold her too rough in fear of breaking her wings. "Alright, let's get you to bed."

Joel remembered where Rin had showed him her room before they went to eat dinner. He slowly made his way back to her room, as he walked carrying Rin so she didn't have to worry about falling and face planking the floor. "You'll be okay, you just need to sleep." Joel told Rin as they came into her room, he helped her down onto her feet.

"Is there anything else I can do for you? I want to talk to the fox lady and figure out what her issue is after the unicorn goes to bed too.." He explained to Rin honestly."Don't worry I won't be mean. You women are just valuable things, she'll take it the wrong way if i ask her what's wrong in front of everyone."

The flavors danced on Seraphine's tongue as she slowly devoured each piece of fruit, she ate slowly as her heart longed for the one person that would understand why she didn't want to be around Joel. She ate quietly, not really sure what to say as she waited for everyone to finish eating. Before she had finished her own meal, Rin fell over into Joel, making Seraphine laugh out loud.

"That's great, Rin. You should probably go to bed." She said, Joel just slid his chair back and stood up, scooping Rin in an awkward way. Her wings looked all cramped up against Joel's chest.

Seraphine looked over at Yuna and smiled at her."I think it's almost your bed time too." She said pointing to Yuna with her fork as she pushed herself away from the table and got up. She used her foot to put the chair back at the table as she walked around the table picking up the plates and silverware.

"Do you want some milk before you go to bed?" She asked as she was walking out."If you need anything, you'll have to get yourself. I'm going out.." Seraphine told Yuna, patting her on the head with one tail as she walked by, a couple more tails tickled her cheek really quick before she left to go put the dishes away.

The Blue orb suddenly got bigger, she reached up and grabbed the heart from within side."Can we meet up after everyone goes to sleep? She whispered into the heart so only Falkor would hear her. She needed comfort, even though things between them were over she knew that their job differences weren't enough to keep her away. This was just like the time she stopped talking to Falkor when he gave up his heart, he didn't have to do that, she was going to give up a tail, but he wouldn't let her.

Yuna smiled, "I'm not a kid," she giggled. Sure, she might look like one, but most unicorns looked younger than their true age. In truth, Yuna wasn't even sure how old she was, she had lost count sometime ago. She could be much younger or older than everyone thought, but Yuna didn't mind. Age was just another number and honestly, it was better to not count the years that flew by in captivity. She smiled at Joel, feeling more at ease with the Starfruit juice in her system. It was incredible how just one sip could change someone so drastically. It seemed to have calmed her nerves and for Rin, well, it seemed to have the opposite effect. She walked around in a drunken haze, laying her head on Joel's lap and slurring her words together. If Yuna didn't know any better, she would think that Rin was being a bit brazen, laying her head on a stranger's lap.

She pouted when Seraphine told her it was time for bed. "Fine," Yuna said, picking up her unicorn plush, whom she had been trying to feed fruit salad to. "No, that's alright," Yuna yawned, her adventures tonight had tired her out. "I'll just go to bed," Yuna pushed back from the table and picked her unicorn up. "Goodnight Sreaphine," she said with a wave, nearly stumbling over. The room was spinning, it seemed that the Starfruit had effected her more than she had realized sitting down. Yuna carefully made her to her room, the last bedroom on the left, a small, but cozy space. The bed was a hammock, on the walls were pictures of maps and charts of stars. There was a desk cluttered with papers and pencils, a lantern flickering in the dim light of evening. The porthole was open to allow the cool night air to drift into the small space, the fake grass carpet fluttering in the breeze.

Yuna changed into her nightclothes and set her unicorn down, sliding onto the hammock and curling up into a ball. Yuna pulled the blanket up over her head, poking her face out and snuggling her unicorn. "Goodnight Uni, goodnight moon. Goodnight Rin, goodnight Seraphine, and Captain, and Joel, and um, everyone else." Yuna closed her eyes, feeling the pull of sleep. It made her lids heavy and her breaths lengthen, her muscles unwound, no longer tense, and towards dreams she leaped, dancing on the clouds of the mind, a place she could become anyone and do anything, the limits being only her imagination.

Mickey tapped a finger against his chin in thought. "My Father treated me as an equal. He respected my decision and we had never had a war, so there was never any strategy meetings or anything of the sort. For the most part, the merfolk are peace keepers." That's right, the ocean was a harmonious place in which creatures of all shapes and sizes could coexist no matter their origin. "I'm told my Kingdom was particularly large, although I can't say whether or not this is true considering I'd never ventured outside of the walls of my home before." At least until he was captured. He had never had to leave city limits, his explorations had taken him close, but upon requesting to leave his inquiries were always denied. After all, the Prince didn't need to know of the outside world, only of the home he was soon to rule.

Mickey grinned, "I kissed a shark once on a dare, but I don't think she considered that a first date. Albeit, she was rather nice about it." It was a joke of course, Mickey had never kissed a girl, he had never laid with another. The fish and merfolk coexisted, they had a symbiotic relationship, just like any ocean organism. What did merfolk eat, you might wonder? Mostly kelp, seaweed, and various small, none intelligent sea creatures like sea cucumbers or jellyfish. Their eyes were drawn towards Azazel, their Captain, who strode in and took a seat. Mickey went back to his plate as Falkor topped off Azazel's glass. Until he had come to the surface, he had never really tasted meat. Now, Mickey wasn't sure he could go back to the ocean without it. How could he raise a sea cow? That was a question for the ages.

Now it was Azazel's turn to tell his tale and Mickey leaned in, intrigued. The man that called himself the Pirate King thought he was the most tough thing in the ocean, wait until he faced Azazel! Mickey grinned as they slugged back their cups, drinking Starfruit juice and eating until their bellies were full and their minds were a haze. At last, it was Run's turn to recount the tale of his childhood, a grim one that Mickey didn't envy. Mickey had seven brothers and ten sisters, of which he was the oldest. As the crown prince, he was often made an example of, so he partially knew of the struggle that the Runt had gone through, not that he would ever admit to them having anything in common. He could sympathize of course, but he truly didn't want to ever admit that the two of them could possibly have something they could relate to one another.

The room was spinning at a million miles per hour as Lilith's eyes fluttered open to the sunlight coming in through her open balcony. As she sat up in her bed, her head felt like it was about to explode. Groaning she rubbed her face until she could see clearly, her room was trashed. Curtain's ripped in half falling from the ceiling, fluffy feathers all over the room. "What happened last night?" She asked herself out loud as she continue to look at the damage done to her room, she knew this wasn't going to look so good on the pre-celebration from O'Stara. She didn't know how she was going to explain this to her adviser.

She noticed her family portrait was the most destroyed item in the whole room, it looked as if someone had tried to climb it multiple times before releasing it wouldn't hold them. She walked over broken wood, books and the ripped out pages, pieces of furniture before she got to the wall across from her bed. She reached out to touch the soft family portrait, as she did the whole thing fell, revealing a weird stone wall. Her jaw dropped at the ancient carvings within the wall, markings carved into the wall in the shape of a door. She pushed on the stone wall to try to get it to move, unfortunate it didn't work."What is this.." She said as she started running her fingers over the writings trying to find a weak spot in the wall.

As her index finger ran over the middle of the door her finger got pricked by a needle, she retreated her hands from the door as she knelt down to look at the spot on the door. A small sound from a mechanical system came from behind the door and the middle of the door slid open a small compartment. As Lilith looked at the shape now in the middle of the door, she recognized the shape from her childhood. Her eyes watered as she thought of the necklace her mother use to wear. The old Egyptian amber beetle that was encase with silver liquid. Quickly she ran to her desk to pull out a wand that she used for guidance with spells. She waved it across the portrait, waving the wand towards the ceiling as she watched the portrait go to it's once beautifully sewn curtain."Nobody can know of this, for now.."

Sweat dripped from her forehead down her chin as she wasted through what little energy she had left, by the time she was done fixing her entire room it was time for her to start getting ready for the day so more sleep wasn't an option. As she was about to head to her bathroom to get ready she saw Constantine's necklace he had gifted her last night laying on her bedside table. She smiled to herself as she reached for it, putting it around her neck as she got ready for the day. Lilith took an extra hour in her closet coming up with the perfect white colored combo for today's attire.

As soon as she opened her bedroom doors she expected the hallway to be empty, however she was sadly disappointed by the unpleasant welcoming of Viktor her adviser and his four servants. He eye'd Lilith's attire before smiling in approval. "It's great to see you are finally getting the hand of a queen's fashion senses."

"What? I never lost my royal fashion sense. There's a fine difference from fashion senses and fashion taste." Lilith explained as she exhaled, walking out into the hallway. The whole crew that had greeted her at her bedroom door followed behind her heels. Her shoulders were grabbed by Viktor as he started guiding her away from the dinning hall and towards her throne room.

"Sorry, your Highness. There's no time for breakfast today, straight to the throne room. We already have a line from the front gates to the docks awaiting to give you their gifts." He stated as she began to argue her case, Lilith shut her mouth, rolling her eyes as she continued towards the throne room. Before she was to enter she had to switch crowns from her little headband to the large silver and diamond plated crown that she had learned over the years to hold steady on her head.

As she walked outside the cheering begun, making her recall last nights speech. This morning everything was to be done fast, no big speech. Her job was to walk all the way down to the docks to wish all the navy seals a safe trip and to personally open the shields so every navy ship could leave together. The list of every family she would be talking to was quickly shoved in her hand. She looked down at the list and groaned at the name 'Azazel', she had forgotten that he was first to give her his gift.

As she made it down the long tedious stone staircase she greeted Azazel with a hug, putting on her famous smile. She kissed both his cheeks before stepping back, she noticed how the three crew members wore bandannas just as he did, hiding their faces. She honestly thought she didn't know any of them, even unable to see the color of their eyes. "Thank you, Azazel and your fearless crew for joining us last night. Your company was refreshing at the beach also. I am here to personally accept your gift for the island of Te-Fiti, what will you be offering us this year?" Lilith asked him cocking her head to side, she watched as he pulled out a folded piece of paper and handed to Lilith, he didn't say anything, his eyes appeared to be locked on hers the whole time.

Lilith's face blushed as she noticed this, taking the paper to break the eye contact. As she read over the paper she took a deep breath in, trying to recover any immediate stress she received from reading Azazel's letter. "You are giving me your oath to serve under the Captain of my Navy. Wow, that's such great news. As O'Stara's festival rules I'm sure your aware that I cannot deny such an offer to another royal member of the court. I trust I will see you at dusk at the docks, I trust you now know you must lead the journey out of the docks." Lilith passed the letter to Viktor who read it over quickly, he took a deep breath, his eyes going wide as she leaned over and whispered what her next response should be.

Lilith looked Azazel in his red eyes as she reached for his hand, giving him a firm goodbye hand shake. "Thank you for taking on this responsibility Captain. I will send word when I have orders. Please enjoy the rest of the festival." She smiled as she walked down the road away from Azazel and his crew, to the next crew that had gifts for her. A foreign crew that she didn't know to much about, she waited patiently for the language adviser to explain what the Captain was giving her.

Upon awaking with the sun peaking up through the water, Joel sat up, realizing he had gone up to the decks to sleep instead of down in the bunker with Rin. There was something uneasy about the island last night that had him on his own personal lockdown. As he rose to his feet he saw the bridge wasn't connected to the docks anymore and Constantine was coming up the rope ladder. "I guess we're leaving pretty early then?" He asked, though Constantine really didn't answer him. Joel wondered if he was in ghost form or if Constantine was just focused on something in his head. He disappeared behind his Captain's courtier doors.

As Joel was headed downstairs he past Rin, coming up. "Enjoy chores, I guess." He said as he disappeared into the mist of realty, his spirit floating over the ship that was starting to sail away from the docks. He watched as everyone fell into their positions, he decided to stalk Rin, watching her work. He wanted to observe her to understand exactly what type of person she had grown up into since the last time he had granted her a wish. Although back then he was only granting one wish per person now he was up to three wishes, like the true genies before him.

He leaned back, leaning against gravity to take the weight off of him. Joel wasn't sure if he could remember where he came from and what his childhood was like, however he didn't care too much. All he knew was his life now, granting wishes and moving on. There was no way out of it, it was hard to permanently kill a genie, he had heard of it being possible but he had tried to off himself so many times, nothing worked yet.

After a while of watching Rin, she just kept mopping, it became to bore him so he decided to go stalk someone else. He tried to enter Constantine's room, when he couldn't walk through the door it suddenly opened and Constantine looked at him dead in the eye. "Even in the spirit world you cannot enter without my consent." He shut the door in Joel's face after saying that.

"Well okay then!" Joel screamed at the door, knocking over all the swords that hung on the wall next to the door. He looked back to Rin who looked spooked by the sudden disturbance and nobody around. "Well.. Eh, I don't care." Joel muttered turning to go see what the cook was doing.

As he turned to face the hallway he had walked into he screamed loudly as a horn impaled him... Well not really, since he was a ghost. He turned to see Yuna running up the stairs to the deck that he just came from. "I thought I was sneaky." Joel whispered to himself as he clung to his shirt, his heart pounding from the sudden event, where did that kid have to go in such a hurry? An imagine appeared in his head of Yuna falling and getting her horn stuck in the deck flooring, that instantly made him feel better hoping he'd actually be able to see that one day.

Joel stepped into the kitchen, he expected Seraphine to be dancing around making food, but she was reading a book at her small kitchen table. She wore a brown tattered shirt and blue shorts, it was obvious she had messed with the shorts to make room for her tails to come out a custom made hole. It actually worked the more Joel thought about it. Seraphine didn't look so good, sick or sad, he couldn't really tell her emotions. She looked like she was rolling around in flour and oil, breadcrumbs stuck out in her hair and her blue orb was a black color, something he hadn't seen yesterday.

Not wanting to get caught up in whatever drama was happening in the kitchen he slowly backed out and retreated back to the docks to sit on the deck railing and stare at the water while the crew members all played their part on the ship that was well out of few from the little island.

Image

It started like a normal day for Seraphine, or so she thought as she started to get up. The last thing she could remember was leaving the ship long after everyone had gone to bed. She remembered getting into a debate with Falkor, however getting back to the ship was all a blur. She rubbed her stomach, it felt tight and sore. She ran to the bucket in her room to throw up anything she had eaten before she went to bed. She never got sick, what was this? Suddenly she was all better, she took a deep breath before she grabbed her toiletries and went to the bathroom.

Her shower was long and relaxing, her tails took forever to wash mainly because the feeling of water on her fur was an uncomfortable feeling. Not to mention it put so much weight on her hips and lower back. She hadn't successfully found a way to 'work out' her tails besides throwing stuff with her tails, which didn't come in handy like she thought it would.

After getting ready for the day Seraphine quickly got started in the kitchen, lightening a fire for the stone oven and started to boil some water for warm tea to serve with at the breakfast bar she was going to do. Everyone had a busy day of chores, so during the morning real breakfasts weren't really a thing. However she always delivered breakfast to Constantine, it was how she got what to make for lunch and dinner. He would sip on his tea and pick at the food she would bring him. Then he would tell her what to make for lunch and dinner and to be on her way.

Seraphine carefully cut up a bag small bag of potatoes into small cubes, she rinsed them over cool water and then placed them in a basket. She added three more pots of water over the fire stove top, dumping the potatoes in one of those pots. She then placed a bag of eggs into the other pot and a handful of fruit in the third pot. As she could hear the water within the large iron kettle pot start to boil she grabbed the large wooden tray she normally put Constantine's breakfast on and placed it on the table. As the kettle started to whistle she had placed freshly peeled hard boiled eggs, bread, cheese and a cup on the tray. She split the boiling water in two tea pots, placing one on the tray and the other on the counter in the kitchen. If Yuna or Rin were hungry they would know to fix their selves a plate from within the kitchen.

Seraphine fixed some dough up and placed it in her metal dish. Next she cut up the boiled fruit and put them in a bowl, she mixed honey, sugar, and cinnamon in with the fruit before placing it in the middle of the dough. She covered the whole thing in oil and placed it inside the stone oven. As she waited for it to cook she decided to read the next chapter in a book that she had been reading over the last two months, rarely did she ever find time to read it. It took her three days to read one chapter because the baking process of breakfast only ever took ten minutes and it turns out she was in fact a super slow reader.

After her fruit creation was done she took portions and separated them on plates, one of those being on Constantine's tray. Seraphine knew the Captain liked fruit so she gave him more than she normally would. After his tray had the right amount of food on it she grabbed Falkor's recipe book and the tray she happily walked up to Constantine's corridors.
