Pᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ: ♃ Jealous ♃- Tarun spent his whole life in Meirin's shadow. ♃ Vengeful ♃- Run very much likes to pay other's back for what they've done. ♃ Determined♃- He's willing to do anything, even underhanded things, to win. ♃ Inferior ♃- The self hatred is strong because of how he always did lose to Meirin. ♃ Loyal ♃- He is very loyal to those who have never wronged him. ♃ Dry♃- He enjoys the occasional dry humor.

Hɪsᴛᴏʀʏ: From the Kingdom of Mithras to the north, Tarun Varsuvia was born to a lower level concubine than his half sister, Meirin. As such she was given favored education and care while he was left tot he side to try to prosper as he saw fit. He always received less than her and no matter how much he tried, he was never able to impress his father, King Medius Varsuvia. He was a rogueish rascal, getting in to trouble, acting out, he wanted attention and affection but all he got from his mother was the treatment of a political pawn. As long as he beat Meirin, she would gain more prestige as a royal concubine. Receiving nothing but dislike from all sides, even his own half sister who kept on beating him over and over, Tarun had enough. He would end up gathering the people in rebellion to assassinate the King who had hurt them so much. It was betrayal though as both he and Meirin were taken prisoner by the peasants. Tortured for years, they suffered until one day Konstantin found them and rescued them, allowing him onto their crew. The rival siblings worked hard to try to bury their hatchet but in the end, old wounds burst forth and Tarun once again lost to Meirin. This was unaceptable! And so he rebelled, he deserted and flew until one day he found a new ship and a new crew. Azreal's Fornatue.

Fighting- Thanks to the Pirate King, he learned how to fight with swords.
Brave Facade- Tarun is good at hiding his anxieties with bravado.

Qᴜɪʀᴋs:Wings- All harpies can summon wings to fly with.
Peekaboo Bangs- One of his eyes glows so he hides it behind his bangs.
Shoulder Roll- It eases the back muscles.

Bᴇʟɪᴇꜰs: Tarun believes in the Goddess Naga, Goddess of Mercy, represented by the Turquoise Dragon-stone tooth. He too believes in the idea of mercy, but he has a darker idea of it. If someone is suffering, they should be given mercy and killed to be spared of their pain. Every morning he prays to Naga to have mercy and be allowed to have the talent to one day beat his sister in something.

Te-Fiti's island was filled with people from all over the world, dancing and celebrating the 'Celebration O'Stara, the beginning of the starfruit harvest. Every year the celebration was on a different island, this time it was on Lilith's home, where even the pirate ships were intending. The celebration was a week long event on one of the many 'Safe Havens' for all parties, which meant violence of any kind was prohibited. Every member of the court, every Royal family member, every navy ship, every pirate ship and most importantly all of the people of the world were invited to this huge event.

Even when entering or leaving Te-Fiti's island each ship is escorted from open sea to the island's harbor. During this event, every party was allowed to come and go as they please, however any member of a Royal family got the opportunity to stay in the Yellowstone Castle, where Lilith and other members of the court lived. There was also three thousand royal guards and soldiers on the island alone at all time, with Lilith being the last of her bloodline it was very important she stayed protected. Which was why the court asked Constantine to be her personal guard during tonight's event.

Not only was this celebration a big deal but the harvest was also the start of the new year, and this pre-celebration was where Queen Lilith would give her opening speech, declaring the start of the celebration. The first couple of days Queen Lilith was to receive gifts and spend time with every party that was attending. The third day of the celebration was when fun activities and competitions were occurring, which would go until the end of the week.

The starfruit was the most popular fruit that grew all over the world, it was shaped like a star and had the sweetest taste. Te-Fiti's island was most known for the large marketplace trading, where everyone came to stock up on starfruit and other necessities. When digesting starfruit the person is left with a sensual and uplifting feeling, it was sort of like earth's happy medication, it was always a high trading item.

It seemed like a horrible time to have a big celebration, however this celebration was something that every member on earth could enjoy. It was the celebration of life in general, it didn't matter what species you were or if you were considered 'good' or 'evil'. With rumors going around about Azazel's crew seeking to destroy the treaty and Constantine's crew out to stop him the atmosphere was very tense. Even with the air so tense because both crews were on the island somewhere, there was not a sad face for miles. Candles, Bonfires, and torches were lit up everywhere, uplifting music filled the air as everyone prepared for Queen Lilith's speech.

There was no way that the Yellowstone courtyard could squeeze in every single person that arrived to the harvest. Royal members, member's of the court and as many people as they could fit in the courtyard waited patiently for Lilith to start her speech. The sky was just turning into night as Lilith appeared in the courtyard, high above the crowd of cheering people. Standing with Lilith was her trusting adviser, Viktor and the three head court members, all with stern faces, not showing much emotion for the event.

Lilith's hands were sweaty as she stood at the balcony over her courtyard. She quickly glanced at Constantine and then back at the ground, slowing her breathing and remembering to to stay calm. She waited for the uncomfortable feeling of Merlin-the oldest and crankiest of the head bosses. He would flick the back of her earlobe to signal her to start talking, if that wasn't bad enough Constantine would already be projecting her voice to be heard from all areas of the island. Which meant if she cried out in pain or cursed under her breathe every living soul here would hear it. She couldn't bare the thought of something embarrassing happening like that, so she took a step forward putting more space between Merlin and herself.

She wore a long red to black ombre dress, with lace floral across her chest to, just barely visible to skin underneath. The material was obviously silk like with small mirrored beads throughout the whole dress making the light in the courtyard reflect off of Lilith. Her hair was up in a bun and for once she looked the part of a queen. Lilith's love for her island and every living being on it she knew she could be anything they needed her to be. She smiled to herself as she looked down at the dress that was "picked out" for her to wear to this "life changing event". She knew that the people in the back might just be blinded by her dress as she cleared her throat.

As she placed her hands on the stone railing in front of her she started to speak, unable to hear herself projecting around the island but confident in herself."Thank you all for joining the annual Celebration O'Stara!" Lilith said excited, she gave the crowd a moment to cheer back before continuing.

"Tonight we are celebrating life while feasting on starfruit. I know the upcoming decade of the treaty has everyone tense, but tonight we forget about who we are and where we belong in the political eye. Tonight is about celebrating everything around us so take in the beauty of Te-Fiti and enjoy the starfruit! I, Queen Lilith Yellowstone, now pronounce the beginning of the harvest!" Lilith's arms went in the air as fireworks and light shows in the sky went off, the crowd cheered from below.

When Lilith turned around to face the people on the balcony with her they didn't look impressed. "That wasn't nearly the speech that we rehearsed." Viktor shouted at Lilith, she took a step forward, in fading his personal space.

"Excuse me, Viktor? Celebration O'Stara is about equality of life, the celebration of life. How many times do I need to mention that? It is the only day that my title in the courts doesn't define who I am." She backed up a bit and took a small breath. "Besides tonight your not my adviser, your just a regular person." Lilith told him, rising her arms up as she shrugged and started to walk down the large stone staircase down to the courtyard to enjoy her night before she had to be some what of a professional tomorrow.

As she walked around in the courtyard she saw faces she had never seen before and some she thought she knew. Hands were constantly being thrown in her direction to shake and hold. It wasn't long before the island horns blew in start of the new year and for once the attention wasn't on her. She looked back at Constantine, her personal body guard for the night. She decided that he shouldn't have to be here for her, nothing was going to happen that she couldn't defend herself for. She watched Constantine's head movements as she stood beside him in the crowd. After waiting for the perfect second, while he was looking in the crowd for anyone that would fit Azazel's character, the signature bandanna.

As Lilith slipped into crowd away from Constantine's grasp she smiled to herself taking a run for it when she saw him walking the other way. This was her one night, she had to make the best of it before Viktor or Merlin grabbed her and threw her in her room. Lilith smiled as she eventually escaped through the palace courtyard and beyond the bridge. From there she ran down hill, her crown had long fallen off of her head, her hair was a curly mess from the wind as her feet took her as fast as they would go to the water. She had always been a problem child for everyone, even after her parents died. She wanted to be at sea, not stuck on some island in the middle of nowhere. Even if tonight, this small island might something, she still wanted to be at the beach, where her favorite type of people hung out. Not stuck in some boring castle, she smiled to herself wishing she could see the look on Constantine's face right now as she kicked off her shoes, ripped her dress so she could run down the sandy beach, further away.

The amount of people that were around her now were slim to none as she stood by the water waiting for the last bit of people to fan out. She ran to the rock cove, she giggled as the cool water hit her warm legs. She ran faster, trying not to fall in the water as she finally jumped, down a waterfall into cave that not many people knew about. From above it looked like nothing but a waterfall into sharp rocks, however if one was capable to see into the darkness and vast waters into the rocks. They would see that there is a hole big enough for a person to fit through, if they have the courage to jump they would discover a cave. Lilith's head popped up after a couple minutes, gasping for air as she pulled herself up. She laid on the cavern floor, catching her breath from almost drowning. "That was exciting." She whispered lighting up the cave with the sound of her voice.

❝Maybe if beat her the world will make sense for once.❞

The festival of O'Stara was starting. Tarun looked down at his hand, gripping his princely pendant firm in his fist as he balled it. Likely that damned happy-go-lucky Pirate King was here, and his crew of merry losers. He sighed, trying to enjoy the festival. His friend, Lilith, looked so happy as she delivered her speech and despite once being royalty himself, he still understood the burden it was. That same weight crushed his back the longer he remained alive on this realm. "Good speech, Lily." He muttered to himself, taking a few moments to check his reflection, making sure that all of his hair was in order, covering his bad eye. With a nod of satisfaction, he shrugged. Might as well have a little fun before it's time to head back to the ship.

Some newcomers seemed a bit perplexed as they wandered about the festival. Hey, why not make a good impression? It wasn't as if he hated everyone, and maybe he could do a bit of good too. Lily'd probably appreciate him being nice to tourists. Maybe that dumb unicorn wouldn't mind it either. No, he shook his head, trying to get her image out of his head. "You're so nice, Run, I admire you so much!" He glared at nothing, trying to wipe the scowl off of his face. Ignore it, ignore it, it wouldn't do to remember the past now. So Run decided to greet the strangers with his best smile, he had dressed nicely for the occasion too, his best blazer top and some nice dark pants to go with the look. "Are you two new to Te-Fiti's Island?" He asked with a pleasant smile.

"Oh, yes! Can you show us around?" The woman asked in that flouncy hat of hers, big and droopy. At her arm was a man and he held it protectively, scruffy beard marking his face as they looked to him, a hopeful tour guide. "Why yes, I am this Island's absolute best Tour Guide!" He could almost feel his nose extend a bit from the lie. Actually speaking to these people was a bit nerve wracking, but he had to do his best now that he was here. He grinned, did that impress them? Were they looking at him with admiration and interest? No, focus! This was work now, he had to do his job well. At least he was dong something, rather than lazing about like Mickey would. "Okay, please, show us around. My wife and I have been looking forward to this festival for quite some time now." He rubbed his beard and Tarun felt a bit irked. Going around, showing off his wife, who did he think he was, some hotshot?

Anyways.

"Sure, follow me." He waved them to follow and hopefully they did. It'd be nice if they fell too. "That's not nice!" The unicorn in his head spoke, chastising him for these thoughts. He shook his head and smiled. "Did you know? Once I tour guided so well that I helped an octopus learn how to fly!" They gave him a faint stare and shrugged. "You know, I think this man might be a bit insane." The wife said, backing away. "Let's find another tour guide, dear." They left quickly and he sighed. What an idiot, why could he never control that mouth of his? Why couldn't he be cool and mysterious like that Falkor guy?

❝Maybe if I save him he'll be a good brother again.❞

The Festival of O'Star was starting and Rin looked at her hand where she held a winged symbol locket, fiddling with the knobs and switches on the relic. She pocketed it with a sigh, shaking her head and pinching the bridge of her nose. Queen Lilith was a bit of a headache sometimes, she could tell from the advisors looking worried and unimpressed that this impulsive Queen was going on her own tangent again. Well, it wasn't really her business, what Lilith did with her time was for herself to handle, not for a random lost princess. If she knew anything about ruling, maybe things wouldn't have turned out the way they did. And, well, the people sure looked happy so that was a plus.

"I guess I'll have some fun." She wanted to buy a little something to bring back and show Yuna and Seraphine, maybe even a souvenir for each of them, and one for herself as well. She reached for her pouch to see how much money she had left - there was still enough for some small things. As the hem of her skirt swished against her legs, Rin walked about the courtyard, careful not to accidentally touch anyone. Was it rude? Probably, but she wasn't the best with contact. "Hello." She gave a polite wave to one of the stall keepers. "Do you know what I could get as a souvenir for a friend?" She gave her best royal smile to hopefully brighten this guy's day. He was manning a booth instead of dancing, so he was still at work, wasn't he?

"Well, we do have some things here and there. It's odd though, why not just go get a bottle of Starfruit Nectar?" Rin shrugged helplessly. "Um, I don't know if I have enough for that." Honestly, celebrations kind of bothered her. She didn't really like spending time off when there could be work to do, crewmates to help, skills to train. But she could almost hear the Captain's voice in her ear, telling her not to worry and just take a break. "Then how about you give that lady there a special password and she'll give you a discount." The stall guy said with a conspiratorial grin. Rin gave a slow nod of understanding. "Okay, I guess I can do that. Thank you, don't get too bored watching people at dance!" He snickered, shaking his head. "Nah, I like watching. Saves me the trouble of falling and entertaining people with my bad leg."

So Rin found herself telling the lady the password. As a result she could afford two bottles, each with it's own liquid within. "Thank you so much!" The lady was busy blushing and making moony eyes at the stall guy to really pay attention to what she was saying. So the harpy princess shuffled through the crowd, hoping to get some privacy as she looked into one of the bottles, hoping to share the other two with Seraphine and Yuna. With a bit of effort Rin uncorked it, finding a note to be inside. What could this be? Her heart began to beat a little faster with the anticipation.

"Zocker Cookie." She murmured, reading the words on the note. Was it silly to do such a thing? Who knew what kind of magic it could hold! But... well, she would just work extra hard for everyone once she was back on duty then to make up for a bit of a flight of fancy.

From the moment that Azazel and his crew arrived, he couldn't wait to get back on the water. With today being the big day, the infamous speech by Queen Lilith, Azazel thought to himself out loud "I deserve some time to myself", with that off came the bandanna and he blended in with the common crowd members. Once he was sure that he wasn't being followed anymore, he took off for the beach, only stopping on the way to get some food and nectar.

At the beach Azazel kicked off his boots and made himself comfortable. Since the speech hadn't started yet, he figured he could shut his eyes for awhile. With a loud screeching noise, Azazel was wide awake and still very intoxicated from that jar of nectar. After a few minutes to regain his composure, Azazel was dressed again and on his way back to the festival he noticed Lilith running towards the beach, but by some hidden route.

Now's you're chance to Azazel, follow her and try to persuade her to join your cause. Teach her on why there can be only superior race, not equals. With that thought going through his mind, Azazel began to follow Lilith. He had been dreaming of this day for many, many years, but now that it had finally arrived, Azazel didn't know if he could put his obsession aside and deal with this rationally. If only Run was here to help with all these new age royal stuff.

Staying as close as her could so he wouldn't get lost, but not so close that he is seen or heard. Over these tree roots and down these rock walls they went, with Azazel not to far behind. When he finally reached the sand again, Azazel had to regain his composure once again. By the time he was good to carry on, all he had to go on was foot prints heading away from him. "Great Azazel, way to keep an eye on the one girl you couldn't stop staring at your whole life."

Seraphine groaned as she laid on the ships deck, the crew had been here for fourteen days already and she really didn't want to stay here another second longer. She had restocked their kitchen almost triple the amount, mostly with vegetables and fruit. Seraphine had also helped the island set up various events and games all over the island, using her Kitsune ways. She propped herself up as she realized the whole thing tonight was about to start.

Seraphine didn't exactly care to be present at this event, and since Constantine was really the only one that had to be there, she saw this as a chance to do some free time. Now that the night of the event had finally come, she was left with the worst boredom she had ever felt. She stood suddenly, deciding if she tried to stare at the stars all night she would get sick. Her stomach growled and for the only night of the year she wanted a meal she didn't have to cook herself.

Seraphine bounced the orb around as she sat on the edge of the Fancy This ship, smelling the air for something worth leaving the comfort of her home. Faintly she smelled something that made her nose tickle, it was almost familiar like something from her childhood. She jumped down onto the deck, instead of taking the much obvious route, avoiding the bridge. As she bounced through the decks to the market she found herself buying weird and quirky items for her room on Constantine's ship.

Seraphine had stopped to browse through some dresses she had found, one spoke her name more than the others. It was emerald green with yellow beads around the bottom of the long dress. She didn't waste time purchasing it and changing in their fitting rooms for one, she had to cut a hole in the back and carefully wive her tails through the small cut hole. As she left the little tent she looked straight ahead to lock eyes with her once beloved, his eyes quickly shifted away made her wonder if he noticed her at all.

Curiousness for the large crowd in front of his stand caused her to linger on the side for a moment, she smelled the air and her stomach growled. The distance thought of Falkor betraying her, removing his heart for some "greater purpose". It was a selfish act, that he tries to justify with love. Seraphine frowned as the crowd slowly started to disappear, she took the last small bowls of food he was serving, leaving a more than generous tip behind. Seraphine winked at Falkor before she turned her back to him and started for the docks. She hoped to share this food with Yuna and Rin when they got back from their fun night.

It was relaxing to get away from being a royal, even if it was just for an hour or two. Really she could have only been gone for thirty minutes, but it felt like forever. The cave ceiling glisten with the water pond, the loud crashing of the waterfall falling into the pond echoed throughout the cave. Lilith had her own secret stash of starfruit in the cave, as well as other fruits.

She picked up the starfruit she thought looked the ripest and started to peel back the rime. She took a bite off of the top, the juices squirted everywhere, mainly down her chin and neck. She quickly wiped away the juices to keep them from drying on her skin, they always left a stinky residue. The tangy sweet starfruit made her stomach twirl with butterflies. Her vision got a little hazy as she continued to eat. She never understood how the fruit itself was more intoxicating then the juices one could buy or the meals with starfruit added to it.

"Great" Lilith said sarcastically as she tried to focus on the cave walls in front of her. Her stomach growled suddenly, even from inside the cave she could smell food being made from her island above. She thought of Constantine, and knew she would get a mouthful when she eventually did return. She hoped for a brief moment that Constantine was enjoying himself, not out looking for her. She knew he wouldn't cause panic, that's the one thing Constantine always avoided.

Once Lilith was sure she had enough control over her own body to climb the rope ladder she packed up a small bag of starfruit so she could eat it on her way back to the palace. Though she knew she would make a couple stops before she went home. As Lilith started climbing the moldy rope back through the waterfall, she had to keep her head out of the way of the water. Her hands hurt as she grabbed onto the rope. The calluses on the palms of her hands made it easier to climb, as she reached for the next set up rope to pull herself up out of the cave she missed her grip.

She tried to grab onto something but with no luck she fell to the bottom, into the pond. She didn't have time to breathe in air before she hit the water so she had to fight to get herself to the top. She spit up water once she was able to grab onto the rope ladder and pull herself up over the water.

"Well that was great Lily. Let's try that again, and try not to mess it up." Lilith tried giving herself a pep talk as she climbed the rope later.

This time when she got to the top she waited for the rope to come to her before reaching for it. She lunged forward, when she felt the rope she squeezed and held on as her body was pushed down by the water she slowly pulled herself up and started swimming faster so she wouldn't get pulled back into the cave. Once she was save on the beach she started walking back, pulling out her backpack full of fruit. She was counting the fruit and walking when she ran into someone, falling backwards on her bottom.

"I'm so sorry! I wasn't watching where I was going." Lilith stated as she tried to get up, she took the help of the stranger. When she locked eyes with him she smiled at him and offered him a starfruit. "Happy O'Stara" She told him, not realizing this was the one person Constantine didn't want her alone with.

One moment Joel was on Ywern, talking to a pair of beautiful eyes and long blue sky hair. She was his previous owner, and had just used her last wish to give herself magic powers. As he was being pulled away from her beautiful face he started screaming a very high pitch scream as he was being flung towards the time and space in between the dimensions. His heart beat rapidly in his chest as a magical force was grabbing him by the back and dragging him to his next destination.

When he was dropped into the right time, right place and right setting he coughed and fell over. Blood came up with with some disgusting green slime, he rubbed his hand on his leg and made some disgusted sounds as he looked around. He could tell he was on a bigger island, that was crowded with people. He turned suddenly, only to have a look of pure disappointment. "There should really be a rule somewhere one phrase per life." He told Meirin, he knew her from her past. She looked different now though, she didn't look like some helpless little girl anymore.

"Well it's nice to see you again Meirin, I hope your just as excited as I am." The sarcastic tone was easily noticeable as he cleared his throat loudly.

"Congratulations for finding one of many genie bottles. I am Joel the genie. I must grant you three wishes now. I am not a miracle worker, there are some things I cannot do. Which includes but is not limited to: Reviving the Dead, Blowing up Earth, Killing People. I cannot drastically change a person's life which basically means you cant suddenly wish to be King of the world, Can't wish for immortally, No Portal Hopping or Time Travel and finally Not more wishes."

Joel then bowed after he gave her his speech he had to give everyone. Over the years he has become more sloppy with his work, however he was becoming utterly upset with his life right about now.

Joel looked around, trying to figure out why there was so many people here. He smelled the air, a sweet scent of starfruit and nodded his head. "Celebration O'Stara. A pointless celebration where everyone is considered 'equal' today." He put his hands up to make a quotation for the word 'equal'. He didn't necessarily thing that this was a good thing to celebrate and why was it a week long?

Joel looked around the marketplace looking for Run. "What happened to your brother?" Joel asked, the last time he had seen Rin and Run was when Rin called for Joel while before the rebellion she had started.

❝Maybe if I save him he'll be a good brother again.❞

Something seemed to explode out of the bottle and then a very familiar face was there. In her surprise Rin let her wings out, large and shimmering black as they burst out of her dress, the cloth once again tearing like they always did whenever this happened. "Oh, it's you. Are you okay? That blood doesn't look good." She had a silly grin, it was nice seeing an old face again, even if he looked as if he'd had better times. Sure, her wish did end up backfiring but she was still thankful for the help nonetheless. "Oh, are you saying you didn't want to see cute me?" She giggled, knowing full well that she wasn't cute. Breasts too small, wings too large, she was disproportionate for a harpy. Joel gave his sale old dry speech, sounding very bored of it all.

"I don't really know where he is. He left a while ago and never came back." Rin took Joel's hand, careful not to say anything like 'I wish' or anything considering how easy it'd be to interpret something as a wish. As such she lead the Genie somewhere with a bit more privacy, out of view of most people and the celebration as a whole. They went closer to the beach and calm tides. Well, she might as well tell Joel about what happened. Surely it'd make for an interesting story, right? "I used the shield barrier you gave me to lock Run inside of it and keep him safe, because I thought we'd be able to work together after that!" But, well, that clearly didn't work. Considering how he had glared at her that day, it did the opposite. "It only got him madder? Sorry, um, I kind of wasted the gift you gave me. I'm only free because someone rescued us." She kicked her feet, dust picking up.

Well, she knew he was still out there. There was nothing she could do about it for now anyways, so she might as well get headed back to the ship. The former princess was a bit tired of the celebration by now anyways. As grumpy as he was, Rin did like having a friendly face around again, it was like seeing an old friend after years! "How have you been? I hope I wasn't interrupting anything serious." She locked eye contact with him, sincerely hoping that she hadn't. "I didn't expect you, so it was a bit of a surprise." She sighed at her dress's tattered state. Even if she put her wings away it was too late to save it now, wasn't it?

Then she gave him not her royal smile, but a genuine one, eyes crinkling up. "Happy O'Stara!"

❝Maybe if beat her the world will make sense for once.❞

Still muttering in frustration, Run grit his teeth. Everything was going wrong. Why couldn't he even just be a tour guide? Why did he have to fail at everything! It was probably Rin's fault somehow, she was probably mocking him nearby jinxing the whole thing. She just wanted to go back to the ship now, a bad taste in his mouth, when he saw something he thought he'd never see again. "It's probably not her, you should just ignore her. She hates you now anyways." The fake Yuna said with that sickly sweet smile of hers, looking positively evil as she snickered at his malcontent. For once, Tarun ignored the delusion and walked towards that figure who had just bent down to pick something up.

No, it was definitely her. It was Yuna, why was she here? "Yuna?" Run called out her name, almost wishing that it wasn't. But everything was the same, her adorableness, her big naive eyes, the plush unicorn toy that made her just so innocent. His hear thumped painfully against his chest. No, stop! Think, how to be cool? How to not get stupid and blushing? He tried to channel his inner Mickey, to be both casual and a womanizer at the same time. "You're cute as ever. How have you been?" He made a cool grin her way, stepping into the tiny unicorn's view. "So happy about a few coins. Look how rich I am! I guess I'll give you some charity." He opened his pouch and realized he didn't have much money at all.

...But he couldn't back down now, that would just be embarrassing! "Take it all, I've got plenty of cash." He put the money into Yuna's hand and tried to be all cool and smooth and awesome. Already the instinct to talk about all the amazing things he never did was rushing into his brain. That was when he realized that something was wrong. If Yuna was here... then clearly his utterly evil sister was here too. The smile turned into a scowl and then he saw it, a flash of energy. Someone had just let their wings open!

Time to do a sneak attack! Maybe then he could finally be strong! So Tarun snuck behind in the shrubbery, ready to jump out and punch his stupid sister right in her stupid smug face. And that's exactly what he did, bursting out to - wait, why was he being flipped into the air? Why was he on his butt on the sand of the beach? Rin had easily used his momentum against him, putting her hand against his side as he rushed at her, flipping him over with his own strength. "No violence on the island, brother." Rin said coolly, looking down at him. "Do you want me to help you up?" Run glared at her, cheeks flushed with embarrassment. Why was she here, and what was this stupid Genie doing here too? "No! Screw off! I let you beat me, that was just a warning attack!" He stood up, still dizzy from the judo-style throw.

Joel smiled as Rin grabbed his hand, in return he interlocked their fingers together and walked with her down the docks to the beach. She explained what had happened. "I used the shield barrier you gave me to lock Run inside of it and keep him safe, because I thought we'd be able to work together after that!"

"Oh jeez." Joel muttered rolling his eyes, he laughed at the stare he got for his comment.

"It only got him madder? Sorry, um, I kind of wasted the gift you gave me. I'm only free because someone rescued us." She continued, kicking her feet in the sand.

Joel felt sort of bad for a split second."Hey, it's uh-it's okay." The feeling suddenly went away."The wishes don't always work like how you think they will." Joel said before trying to awkwardly pat the top of her head to make her feel better.

She locked eyes with him and he almost blushed, nobody had ever truly locked eyes with him. She wasn't exactly the type of girl he'd go for but she had an irresistible charm to her, however he knew better. She said that she didn't expect to see him, however it was a nice surprise."I was talking to a pretty girl, but whatever. I'm still talking to a pretty girl so it works I guess." He shrugged his comment off, not really thinking about what he just said as he continued.

"I've been alright I guess. Please tell me you plan on saving your wishes this time? Last time you used them right up and that's probably why you had to be rescued in the first place." Joel stated the last part in a whisper. Instead of replying to him she almost looked annoyed by his comment as she walked over to the shadows beside them, she grabbed into the darkness and flung Run over her shoulder. The two had some words before Joel couldn't hold back his laughter."Oh man, Run. It's good to see you. Your so hilarious." Joel said between laughter, tears of joy spilled out of his eyes.

Yuna smiled to herself, happy that she now had more than she started with. She was about to head back towards the food stalls when someone rushed up to her. "T-Tarun!" Yuna squeaked in surprise, cheeks quickly turning a vibrant shade of pink. "Are you here for the festival too?" She asked, her vibrant purple orbs sparkling in delight at having encountered an old friend. She blushed when he called her cute, hiding her new tinge behind her stuffed unicorn. "I-I've been doing well, I think. I'm still Constantine's navigator," the little unicorn had an eye for the stars, as many unicorns did. In ancient myths, it was said that animals like unicorns and centaurs were the guides to the stars, the gateway to the cosmos. It was why, in recent years, many centaurs were kidnapped and sold into slavery, working as navigators on ships and for royal families without ever getting a break. Many herds had moved into more populated places for additional protection, having once been free to roam the woods as they pleased.

"Look Run, I found a silver coin." Yuna smiled as she showed him, Tarun guffawing at her happiness for a mere piece of silver. "You don't have to give me money-" but it was too late, the boy emptied his change sack into her hands. "Oh u-um, thank you!" Yuna looked at the change he had given her, not quite the amount he had bragged about, but Tarun always had a way of spinning things to make him look to be in the best position, even if he wasn't. "Thank you," Yuna's smile was genuine. She placed the change into her pocket and was about to give him a hug, happy to have seen an old friend, when Tarun rushed off, leaving Yuna to stumble and fall into a puddle. "Wow, what a jerk," someone commented, holding out a hand to help the mud covered girl. Yuna reached for it, pulling herself out of the puddle.

"Hey, a unicorn, bet you don't see that everyday." He said with a grin, reaching out to touch her horn. Yuna stiffened, grabbing her plush and turning tail to run away. She bustled off, forgetting about her rumbling stomach and heading straight for the awaiting ship parked on the dock. By the time Yuna reached the Pirate King's vessel, her white dress was dry, albeit stained, along with her mud smeared arms and legs. She clamored up the rope ladder, panting as she finally settled down on the wooden exterior of the ship. "I'm... home," Yuna managed, rising on shaky legs to go find Serphine, whom she was certain was still aboard the vessel. "It smells yummy," Yuna said as she sniffed the air, her horn glimmering in the low light of the lanterns strung around the deck.

"I hope it's stew," the unicorn smiled to herself as she hugged her plush, her mouth watering from the tantalizing scents that filled the air. "I should get cleaned up first, Seraphine won't like it if I show up to dinner all dirty." Yuna could already hear their scolding her for being such a mess. The unicorn headed below the deck, to where the rooms were. She removed her filthy gown and placed it in the basket in her little room, able to see the town from her porthole. Yuna picked up a towel and pulled off her shoes, navigating down the hall and to the shared bathroom in order to remove the muck from her body. "Seraphine, if you're here, I call the shower!" She called with a giggle, knowing that there would be plenty of warm water to use.

Mickey was only slightly buzzed when Falkor popped over, asking him to guard his things. "I guess," he yawned, stretching his limbs towards the sky. He ran a hand through his colorless hair, reaching into his pocket for the small sack of nuts he had stolen off of a cart. "I really should buy some new clothes," he yawned, deciding that the rags he owned aboard the ship no longer suited him. Mickey pat his money bag, two giggling girls slowly moving closer. He grinned, figuring this was the perfect opportunity. "Excuse me, but my friend wanted to say hi." He nodded in acknowledgement, "Hello," he replied with a charming grin, pulling out his princely manners. "How do you do?" She was dressed in finery that Mickey would assume only a human of high status would wear. "I'm doing well and you?" She asked, holding out a hand. He bowed, bending over to kiss it, his other hand reaching into her pocket.

The two girls giggled as he right himself, slipping his hands into his clothes to stow the new found treasures. "Just fine, it's my first time at this festival." He replied with a wink, "and my first time meeting such a fine specimen." The two girls giggled once more, running off to find some other boy to tease no doubt. He reached down for his bag, tapping his foot impatiently as he waited for Falkor to return to relieve him of his good watching duties. "I'm gonna do a bit of shopping, I'll see you back on the ship," he winked, giving fake salute as he headed to ditch the ugly clothing that had been giving him a rather er... homely appearance he'll put it. Mickey hit the shops, bargaining with bits and pieces, stolen treasures, and returning with an armload of bags weighing him down.

There, no longer would he look like a slovenly fool, now he could truly play the part of the prince from the sea. Running a hand through his hair, Mickey took another swig of the starfruit drink, warming his throat, the slight buzz increasing. He hopped over the side of the ship, landing on the dock and walking towards the beach to lay in the sand. It was a warm evening, a pleasant breeze rustling through his clothing that made him nostalgic for the sea. Was he still allowed to harbor these emotions of longing and nostalgia? In a sense, Mickey almost felt as though he had betrayed his parents. Was he still allowed to long for that undersea palace in which, through no fault of his own, he had been drawn from?

"F*** it," he rose, tossing the bottle into the water. "You stupid fish!" He yelled, kicking at the sand, careful not to get wet and reveal his merman form. "Why can't you do anything right!" Not an angry drunk per say, more a lonely one. Even with his new land and sky faring friends, Mickey couldn't help but long for someone who knew how wonderful the sea was.

❝Maybe if beat her the world will make sense for once.❞

Run's cheeks lit up even worse when this dumb genie started laughing at him! What did he do to deserve this? All he wanted was to prove that for once he could beat his sister, but everything went wrong! "I'm not funny! Stop laughing at me!" If the genie was at least a cute girl then maybe he could try to play it off - but no, he glowered, biting at his cheeks to try to control his anger. "You moron, you can't even do anything right. Should've just stayed with me instead of chasing your always-better sister!" All she did was mock him, both Rin and the fake Yuna both. Maybe he could have taken her back to the ship, wouldn't that be something? But no doubt Rin could have smugly saved the unicorn that rightly belonged to him and not her!

"I don't know what you're doing, but you should stop it." Rin said quietly, brushing off her hands, her wing returning to her body. She gave Joel a bit of a smile but didn't laugh. Run would have preferred that she did laugh, like this it was almost as if she was saying that he wasn't even worth laughing at. Of course he wasn't, she probably saw him as nothing more than a bug, someone to cruelly kick at every chance he got. "Just whatever. Wait til next time, Rinny, I'll beat you up." Rin sighed heavily, as if all of this was tiring to her. "You don't have to keep trying." She told him, verbal daggers shooting right at his throat. "It's not worth anything anyways." No, he had enough, he was just going to go back to the ship.

So Run went off, not in the mood to try to even chat up Lilith anymore. He'd come back to the island again some other time and regale her full of stories and tales of things that didn't happen so that at least there was one person in the world that didn't despise him. Was he the first one back? Well, it didn't matter. "You try oh so hard, but all you do is fail." Yuna mocked him with a big smile. "It's funny. I hope you keep entertaining me." He tried to ignore it, but even as he tried the image of Yuna just tugged at his heartstrings more.

He even forgot to apologize knocking her into the mud. Shame broiled up in him and so he clung to the side of the ship and smacked his head against it as atonement.

❝Maybe if I save him he'll be a good brother again.❞

As Run ran off Rin sighed yet again. This was all so tiring but at least he was still full of energy. "You shouldn't tease him so hard." Rin said but she couldn't quite seem the giggles off her face either. It took all she had to control it. Not that it was fun to hurt her brother or anything, but because Joel's sudden outburst of laughter was so infectious she couldn't resist the urge to join in. "And don't worry, I'm saving the wishes." She grinned a little as she began to walk, feet pattering against the sand. It was about time to go back to the ship regardless. "It's nice to know you want to stick around, hmm?" It was mostly a just a harmless joke - she was grateful that he seemed to have concern for her.

"Follow me to the ship? I'll show you my new friends!"

And so Rin took the Genie over to the boat. She didn't know where Constantine could be but she did see two of her friends here, Seraphine and Yuna, they had arrived before her. Well, she didn't really see Yuna, but she saw her shoes. A tempting aroma wafted through the air, Sera was cooking something again, wasn't she? The harpy dipped her feet in the dock's water before stepping up aboard with an inviting hand to give Joel permission to board the ship as well. "That's Yuna. Well, that's her shoes. She's cute, tiny with a horn." A part of her was excited, really. Was it conceit to want to show off her far she'd come since the last time she and Joel met?

"Sera? We have a friend, do you want to meet him?" Rin asked, wondering where the fox girl could be. The poor harpy was almost wriggling in anticipation, which was very unlike her. Usually she was poised and in control but now she was like a child again. It was probably more than a little strange - but hey, at least all of her time in second in command has helped her to stop using the royal 'We' so much, right? Oh, wait. "We - I mean, I have a friend. He's Joel!" She gave Joel a strangely anxious grin, twiddling her thumbs. "I'm a part of a crew!" Why wasn't her usual calm collected face coming through? Why was she being so awkward? Rin took a deep breath to try to steady her nerves. "And I guess I'm something like a second in command?"

Okay, it was okay to take just this one day to be silly. After this she would have to buckle down and get back to work super rigorously to make up for it!

Lilith sat on the driftwood as the man explained who he was and what he was doing here tonight. She remembered her speech, ..it doesn't matter who you are tonight, we are all equal!... She smiled and took another piece from him, she savored the bite in her mouth, stuffing the whole thing in because she was so hungry.

He got up for a moment so Lilith looked up the beach where the marketplace would be, she wondered if it was too late to get some food. As she turned back to look at her company, he had just turned back around. He sounded so apologetic as he told her he was sorry for the pain she must of have felt. She looked down at her hands, her finger tips felt tingly and she can to wait to finish chewing and swallowing to answer him."Oh it's alright, it happened so long ago. I mean, yeah it ****'s but I can't change my past. I can only change my future."

Lilith stood up and grabbed the stranger's arm so he could balance himself with her help. She knew she wouldn't be of much help but the thought was still there. "I need to start heading back to the courtyard, would you like to accompany me to the marketplace?" She asked as he was wiping his knife, her hand from his arm dropped as she looked at the cloth. "Why does that look so familiar.." She whispered to herself, her head hurt trying to think of where she had seen that cloth from.

She suddenly started giggling like a mad woman, "I'm sorry, sir. The starfruit seems to be talking for me as well." She disregarded the uneasy feeling in her stomach as she tried to walk in the sand. Lilith was able to make it a good two hundred feet away before she slipped and fell. As she started to get back up she could start to see people, the two had made it a good distance heading back. Lilith reached into her bag and pinched her thumb nail into the top to slice it open. She peeled off the outside, throwing it in the ocean to feed the fishes, if anything it was a good fertilizer.

After it was peeled she handed it to her companion, when he started to cut it into slices she quickly flicked the knife handle out of his hands and gracefully caught it before she handed it back to him, handle first."Take bites Mister 'BigShot'" She said, after he took the knife back from her she pulled out another fruit and started to peel it for herself. "Just use your cloth thing to keep wiping your face, I guess." She told him as she just endured the sticky juice rolling down her neck. Her back really started to ache at this point, it burned in one spot in the middle of her back.

Joel was honestly amused with Run's little tantrum, he was happily laughing his butt off when Run yelled at him. Stating he wasn't funny and to stop laughing at him."The fact that you say not to laugh at you, makes you even more pathetic that I have to laugh more." He couldn't contain it, he laughed again. He whipped away any happy tears that were forming in his eyes and fixed his composer by crossing his arms, one hand over his mouth to stop himself from laughing any further. He took a deep breath and said "Hey Tarun, if it makes you feel any better, my life ****s too."

When Tarun ran off in a sad pathetic defend, his sister turned and looked at Joel."You shouldn't tease him so hard."

"What?! Come on! That's not fair, you know you want to laugh too." Joel stated moving closer to her. He was really thrilled to be with someone that he actually knows, he hadn't planned to celebrate this night because he wasn't anywhere near Te-Fiti's island. With the sudden change of events, he was going to have some fun at least. For the next three wishes of his life he would be attached to Rin's hips."The poor kid can't just live his own life." When she finally joined in on the laugh his only got louder.

Finally they both settled down and as Rin started to walk she told Joel "And don't worry, I'm saving the wishes." He started to follow her down the beach, unsure of what would be ahead, he slid his arm around the back of her waist, his palm on her opposing hip after she told him "It's nice to know you want to stick around, hmm?"

"There's no one I'd rather spend this holiday with. Joel told her bringing her close for a hug and a small kiss on her cheek before letting her go. He followed her to the docks, and then to a huge ship. The impression had to look terrifying from Rin's reaction to Joel. He looked over at some shoes that were just thrown onto the floor, Rin explained right away "That's Yuna. Well, that's her shoes. She's cute, tiny with a horn."

Joel's next look was his right eye brow raised and his lips puckered out before he said "Is that some fancy new age way of telling that 'she's' really a 'he'?" Joel asked honestly before smirking at her expression. "Just kidding. I'm sure I'll understand that 'horn comment later."

Rin called out for someone a couple minutes later."Sera? We have a friend, do you want to meet him?" Nobody answered though, Rin thought to herself for a moment. Giving Joel enough time to look around, this place looked so dangerous, it reminded him of Azazel's ship, he wondered if it was a pirate ship. "We - I mean, I have a friend. He's Joel!" Rin suddenly said, he turned to look at her, a big smile forming on his face when she met his eyes again.

"And I guess I'm something like a second in command?" Rin suddenly stated, Joel rolled his eyes at the comment.

"What? No way!" Joel said pushing her shoulder a little bit. When he realized she was serious he shook his head, his eyes going big. "Oh wow. You're not kidding. That's great. WOW!" He looked around again before asking her. "So I take it this is a pirate ship then?" He asked curious.

After a while of sitting on the railing peering down at people coming down the docks she decided that she should start cooking something now just encase someone was hungry when they got back. The small sampler she got from Falkor's stand wasn't going to be enough to feed two tiny bottomless pits and Constantine was kind of a pig himself too. Seraphine skipped down to the kitchen, she took some time to stare at the ingredients in her kitchen before she decided that she would make a cuisine meal for tonight. She used the blue orb to light the stove, placing the medium pan over the fire, she began to cook up the skinless and already cut up fish she kept in the cool storage, the one that always touched water so the walls were always cold.

Seraphine added spices in, she memorized which to use from her dear past lover. She learned a lot from Falkor, she was clearly still hurt by his betrayal. However tonight she wouldn't think of that, she would think of her new friends. They were her family for now, she had new priorities that were apart of her new life. Once the fish was done cooking she put the pan's lid over the fish and put it aside. She put the large flattop iron skillet on the stove top, dropping it fast so she wouldn't burn her finger tips. She moved quickly, reaching for a loaf of bread stacked in one crate in the corner between vegetables.

When she returned to the stove she had sliced the bread before placing them on top of the flattop, she flipped them occasionally. When they were done she moved them to a plate and put a white cloth over them to keep them warm. Next she made a sort of creamy broth, using the pan the fish cooked in she added honey milk and some water together, a pinch of spices here and there. She graded cheese up and slowly added it into the pan over boiling hot water. As the ingredients started to mix together into the creamy sauce she knew it was ready.

Seraphine heard someone as she started placing dishes on the counter to make plates."Seraphine, if you're here, I call the shower!" Little Yuna called from down the halls, Seraphine's fox ears pointed to the ground as she listened for Yuna while continuing cooking. 'One day I'll make the perfect mother for a liter of kids' She thought to herself, proud of her ability to multitask.

Even though there was only four people she always made enough food for six. She had put the sampler from Falkor's stand- noodles with the star fruit tangy sweetness taste to it- it kind of had a spicy after taste. Next was the fish meat, she divided it into six plates. Her smile was big as she poured an even amount of sauce over the meat and noodles. Finally she added two slices of bread to each plate. Not sure when they would be ready to eat she put metal plates over each plate of food.

As she was cleaning herself up from the mess she had made she heard Rin, her heart fluttered with the happiest feeling as Rin spoke."Sera? We have a friend, do you want to meet him?" Seraphine wriggled her nose to the unfamiliar scent in the air with Rin's, her stomach felt uneasy and she had a bad feeling. When Seraphine finally found Rin, her face lit up with surprise and Seraphine raced to Rin. Seraphine picked up Rin and rubbed her own face to Rin's before suddenly dropping her."I'm so happy your home! Dinner is ready, I just finis-" Seraphine stopped dead in her tracks as she realized another person was with Rin, she looked up to see who he was and had a distant memory of how she knew him.

When she snapped back in realty she took a step back from the two of them and stared at Joel for a long time before looking at back at Rin."I'm going to go tell Yuna that dinner is ready." She said almost just as fast as she turned around and started walking away. All nine tails were big and fluffed up like she was scared or in danger. Before she went and looked for Yuna however she went back to her room to scream in a pillow.

Once she had gained her composure she continued down the hall to the showers. She knocked on the door and then entered, since it was a shared bathroom. "Yuna, I don't know what to do.. Rin clearly just opened the genie's bottle. He's the one that wouldn't even hand me a knife!" She cried into the showers, she couldn't visibly see little Yuna because of how steamy the room itself was, but Seraphine's ears were pointed to the floor and her tails fell lifeless to the floor.

The hot water felt luxurious on her skin, washing away the dirt and grime of the evening. Yuna hummed to herself as she scrubbed her purple hair and made sure her horn was squeaky clean. "Come here Uni, you need a cleaning too!" Yuna lifted her plush that was waiting just outside of the water and scrubbed the toy until its white fur gleamed. While washing, the door poked open, someone striding inside. [color=#CD96CD]"What's wrong Seraphine?" Yuna inquired, only able to half hear her. She turned the water off and stepped out of the shower stall, reaching for her towel. "He didn't hand you a knife?" Yuna wasn't sure she was getting the full picture here. She wrapped her toy in a towel too and began the arduous process of brushing out her hair.

"A genie?" Yuna's eyes sparkled. "Rin found a genie?" For someone who was technically a mythical creature, she sure was easily infatuated by others. Yuna finished drying herself and her toy off, her eyes sparkling in wonder. "I can't wait to meet him! Unless, he's the reason you're crying?" Her smile drooped. "Then we should... we should... kick him in the shins and run away!" The only defensive move the little unicorn knew, it seemed. She wriggled into her dress and took Seraphine's hand in her own. "Even if he was a bad person though, I bet it's nothing that your food can't fix." Yuna smiled hopefully, her hunger showing perhaps a bit more than she would have liked. "I don't know if it'll fix anything, but maybe talking to him would help?"

Yuna didn't know the entirety of the situation, of course, she did know that she was hungry and wanted to go and eat the delicious food before it became cold. "And if it doesn't work then we kick him out!" Or maybe in the shins if they couldn't kick him off the ship? "It's better to be closer to your enemies, isn't that some sort of saying?" Yuna mused aloud as she lifted her unicorn up. She was still holding Seraphine's hand as she opened up the door to the bathroom and led the two of them out and to the mess hall. "I started working on a new map, the stars here are so vibrant and easy to chart." Yuna said happily, wondering if changing the topic would help. Was it selfish to want to speak a little bit of her work? Did it bore the others? Yuna furrowed her brow. Okay, she wouldn't talk about it, just in case no one else found the constellations to be as interesting as the unicorn did.

Yuna poked her head into the mess hall, spotting Rin and a tall, dark haired figure. Was this the genie Seraphine had spoken of? Yuna released the kitsune's hand, her horn gleaming in the lantern light of the ship. "Okay, we just have to start with introducing ourselves. Maybe he won't remember you?" Yuna suggested hopefully. The poor unicorn was so shy though that her legs were trembling as she stepped into the dining hall. "H-hello," she pulled her toy up to cover the lower half of her face, squeezing the white plush against her. "Rin is-is this your fr-friend?" Yuna inquired softly, remaining by the door, too scared to walk any further into the room.

From the beach he stumbled back to the ship, collapsing on the hull. Where was the boss? How much longer was this going to take? Mickey sniffed the air, something tasty was brewing. His stomach growled something fierce. He had tossed the rest of the star fruit juice into the ocean, otherwise he surely would have chugged the bottle. A pleasant heat was in his stomach and face, more than likely from the alcoholic effects of the drink. Mickey sat up slowly, figuring that he wasn't doing anything for his self image by laying here. He picked up the bags he had dropped off and stumbled to his room, dumping everything onto his bed. "Let's see, ah, here it is." He grinned as he propped the jewel on his head, a crown visually similar to the one that had previously graced his head at prince.

The familiar weight was comforting and the home sickness eased. He made his way out of his room, a bit dizzy, the effects of the drink beginning to wear off. Mickey pulled his shirt off and tied it around his waist, feeling a bit too warm for comfort. "Falkor? Need any help?" He poked his head into the kitchen, his gaze falling onto the large pot. "Smells good, as always." He grinned, nostalgic mood completely erased. Mickey stepped into the doorway, hands on his hips. "So, what can I do? ❝Maybe if beat her the world will make sense for once.❞

Tarun glared at his crewmates as they entered the ship, getting ready to go. Mickey was here, Falkor was here too, and he didn't get along with them really. They were just more examples of talented people, not insignificant weak people like him. Some people just weren't meant to be skilled - and Tarun hoped that he wasn't one. They ignored him and he ignored them too, too hurt by his failure to really try to make friends. It would've been nice if he'd been able to say goodbye to Lily before they had to head out again, but it was too late for that. She couldn't even say he was sorry to Yuna either, for what he did. "Not that you deserve it anyways." Fake Yuna laughed in his ears, prancing about in his mind. He tried to wave her out.

Well, he might as well go practice with his swords then. Ignoring the delicious food Falkor could do, Tarun decided to try to make use of the training he received from his old boss. Under the poop deck of the ship he retrieved his two swords from his quarters, then began to train. Hard at work he did the drills to sharpen his movements, his footwork, his speed and accuracy with his dual blades. He wasn't bad, but he could feel Rin giggling at him and teasing him for not being good enough, not being fast enough. If he was anything it was persistent and he kept on trying to kill the image of Rin in his head that took her own sword and practiced against him. He would win. Next time he met her, he would win at any cost.

❝Maybe if I save him he'll be a good brother again.❞

"No, Yuna's a girl." Rin assured her new old friend as they entered the ship, a nice smell wafting about the place. "Don't be so dirty in front of her, she's too innocent for that!" The former princess said with a giggle, enjoying having him back. It all just felt so nice. If only Run could go back to his old self from what felt like thousands of years ago when he was nice and a bit shy, preferring to read books rather than learn how to fight, if only she could bring that brother back then maybe everything would be okay. Would they like him? Rin sure hoped so! Joel always did his best within the constraints of his rules, and that was something to be admired in someone.

With anticipation Rin nodded, almost hopping on the balls of her feet as she did so. She told him about her position on this ship, earning exactly what she expected from the enigmatic genie -a mixture of excitement, disbelief, and maybe even a bit of pride, if she wasn't overthinking this of course. "Our goal is to defend the treaty." Rin explained to hopefully clarify what her purpose here was. She herself didn't care too much about it - her main wish here was to protect the smiles of her friends on the ship and repay the debt she owed to Constantine, her savior and big brother figure. Sera exclaimed that she was going to go tell Yuna that dinner was ready so Rin decided to get herself ready to eat too, removing her specially-made shoes that could fit her talon feet and brushing off any extra sand from her now ruined dress.

Eventually Yuna and Sera, both cleaned up, were spotted by Rin and Joel as she was showing him the place, following the smell of their food. Yuna, the tiny adorable unicorn, began with her introductions. "See, she's adorable!" Rin nudged Joel with a tiny cracked smile. "Yes, this is my friend. Don't worry, he's bound to my wishes and won't hurt you. His name is Joel!" Her eyes told the genie to play nice with little timid Yuna, she was a little bad with people but as Joel was her friend she wanted everyone to get along. "And the fox girl is Sera. Which, by the way..." Pulling out her second bottle, Rin grinned at everyone. "I have Starfruit Nectar ready for after the meal! I don't know what it does, but I heard it's a delicacy of the island." The bottle was very well contained and the liquid inside was almost begging for Rin to drink it.

❝Maybe if beat her the world will make sense for once.❞

Run was busy imagining killing Rin by cutting her head off after beating her in a duel - no, just kidding. Even though he was working hard his mind always failed him, as if it couldn't fathom the idea of being able to beat Rin in a duel of blades. He had fallen over onto his back as the imaginary Rin jabbed and now her imaginary rapier was at his throat. "Now what a surprise, you can't even beat a fake version of her." Yuna giggled, laughing at her and his ears burned red in shame and misery. "I'll never be good for anything." He murmured, shaking his head, trying to get it out of his system. That was when he heard the call, Mickey's voice. Must be nice to have talent. Too bad he had none - anything he tried, Rin did better. The only thing he was ever good at was reading, but when did that ever matter?

"Yeah, yeah, I'm here." The food was delicious and he dug in, giving Falkor a grudging scowl of approval for the food. Not that he needed them. Falkor's wings were probably better anyways. Ugh, all of this negativity was getting annoying! He just needed to keep trying, that was all he needed! But that dumb Genie's laughing kept itching in the back of his mind despite it all. "Food's good." He eyes the starfuit nectar greedily, wishing for a bit of respite from his own hopeless head. Mickey and Falkor were swapping tales, but Mithras, Run's home, was nothing but pain and failed expectations and disappointment. He probably didn't even have any cool stories to tell. Oh, if only Rin was here for real, then maybe Mickey and Falkor could beat her and he could cut off her legs or something.

Oh, the food was really good.

...

When would he get to stop being a burden?

❝Maybe if I save him he'll be a good brother again.❞

Rin was all smiles as Joel tried to make nice but the second in command didn't earn that position because she had a good smile. "Um, one second, Joel. We - I need to talk to them." There was something wrong, maybe more than Yuna's normal anxiety and Sera wasn't her usual touch feely self. Sure, Rin didn't exactly enjoy contact, but still, something was wrong when Sera didn't at least try to touch her wings once a day. Constantine was babysitting, so it was up to her to take care of the crew. "Hey, Yuna, Sera, is something wrong?" Still holding the bottle, she approached them so Joel hopefully wouldn't hear. "Is it my friend? I can tell him to wear something nicer, if you want?"

Yuna was a bit too much stammering than her normal shyness, and Seraphina was being odd with, but for the fox girl it was a bit harder to place. Her eyes furrowed, was it the nectar? "I'm sure it's just juice?" She never heard of Starfruit nectar being anything but just normal juice, right? The guy at the stall said as much anyways. After trying to find out what was bothering them, she decided to give in and give Yuna and Sera both a hug, despite the chills running down her spine. "I'll listen to anything you need." She told them, before skipping back to her seat next to Joel to dig into the delicious meal Sera had so kindly made for them. "I don't know what you mean by party, but this does look good." She gave Joel a strange stare.

Well, whatever. Food finished, it was time to drink! Rin poured some into a glass for herself, the sparkling of the nectar very nice to the eye. She downed it... and then she felt loopy and strange. Her head was spinning and so Rin stood up abruptly. "Poison? Was I poisoned?" She asked in the haze of confusion and happiness. Wait, happiness? Rin was so lost that she tripped over her own feet, landing face first on the wood of the ship. "Joel, help, I'm poisoned! But it's a happy poison?" Cheeks flushed, mind going in fifty circles at once, Rin flopped around, wings exploding out of her back, then she sat down, trying to make sense of anything.

A strange energy was welling up inside of her.

Rin decided to dance. That was a bad idea, of course, because suddenly she tripped over Joel's head somehow and fell over again. Whatever this poison was, it was going to kill her! "H-help?" She asked, crying. "Poison?" What even was going on anymore? Why was no one helping her?

❝Maybe if beat her the world will make sense for once.❞

Listening as Falkor spoke about love made his chest twinge. Yuna, Run wanted to see her again. Would they ever get to meet as something other than enemies? Sure, it was partly his fault - mostly his stupid sister's fault really - but still, it was pain anyways. Falkor sounded as if whoever he was in love with, this Seraphine who Run vaguely remembered from the ship with the old losers back with the Pirate King and his overly happy team. "Must be nice to have had someone." He mumbled as he ate the way too delicious food, trying not to feel jealous as he always did. Skill with cooking, why couldn't he have had any skill with which he could use to seduce Yuna? "What skill? You were never good for anything, it's silly to think I could love you."

Next Mickey told a tale of home after trying to get him to slow down his stuffing of his face. As the fish told him that he began to cough, almost choking on the food he was wolfing down, his plate pretty much all but consumed now, nothing but tiny little remainders of what used to be a dish left. Mickey began to regale them with tales of home under the sea, Run feeling somewhat sick as this only brought back reminders of his own life back in Mithras. "My son, your job is to earn me the title of Queen and become the promised Heir." Every night his mother sang into his ears. "You worthless brat, is it so hard to beat that girl? She's just a girl, why can't you show her up!" Run rubbed his cheek, still feeling the sting of the slap he received after every failure. All he wanted to was please her and show that he could be a good son, why couldn't win just once?

"It's because you're not good enough." Rin said one day, offering him a worm pie, two children who were playmates. "You need to get stronger and then I'm sure you can beat me." Run remembered asking her why she couldn't just let him win, why she couldn't go easy on him for once. He just wanted to read, to bury his nose into the pages of a book. It was only his mother's prodding that pushed him onto this path of ruin. "Because then it won't feel like a real win, right?" Even a fake win would feel better than endless losses, than disappointing his mother and getting beat again and again.

Mickey noticed the captain, so Run looked up at him, frowning slightly. He stood up, trying to shake the despair out of his worthless little mind. "Captain." He said as Mickey showed him the best seat at the house. "When can we fight the Pirates?" Suddenly he had an idea, he knew how he would be able to beat his sister. He just wanted a chance to show it off for real, this secret plot for victory. "I want to bring her back and then we can all share the torture, it'll be fun." He could see it, the clear path to winning.

"I think I know how to beat her."

❝Maybe if I save him he'll be a good brother again.❞

Rin was something between dizzy and nauseous as she sat back down, trying to listen to the swarming of voices buzzing around her head. Something similar to Joel telling her that wasn't poison, someone laughing her head off, loud and bright like Sera's voice, even the sound of a child enjoying the nectar and telling her that it wasn't poison. Now that was just embarrassing, Rin had an even weaker constitution for this than Yuna? Did it have something to do with her being a unicorn and Rin being a harpy? She tried to fight it off and regain her composure because this was just undignified, really. Still, a part of her did like the chance to just... be stupid for once. "My head's whirling." She mumbled, almost stumbling over the words as her wings flapped aimlessly.

It was around then that two new people joined the party. The captain, Constantine was here. Rin tried to rub at her eyes and sit up straight to look as dignified as she could with her flushed cheeks and slight swaying as she sat. The nectar, it was so amazingly good but at the same time she really was not sure she liked losing control of herself like this. It reminded her of one incident in the past where she and her brother were both given a shot of alcohol by father. Run was able to handle it of course, taking it like a man but Rin flopped over in moments, unable to hold it in the slightest. "Captain, Meirin ready for duty, I'm not - We are perfectly okay, we - I mean I - I'm..." She stammered into silence, wondering why she couldn't even say the slightest of words. Worst of all, Lilith was here, the irresponsible Queen! At least Yuna and Sera were okay, there was some history but that was for Joel and Sera to work out, it wasn't Rin's business. Meanwhile Yuna was just being her shy self.

As Lilith was about to leave Rin took a deep breath to fortify her mind. "Have a nice night, Queen." She said in her usual professional manner, then she grinned proud of herself before she could understand what even the heck an Annie was. "Joel, I wish that - no, no, I don't actually?" She was about to wish to not be drunk anymore but she luckily caught herself before it was too late. She had to save them, wishes were precious resources! Yuna too, was checking up on her. "We're okay." She said, slipping back into the royal 'We' as she took Yuna's hand and gave it a comforting squeeze. "Just tipsy." At least she could string together words now, maybe the worst of the buss was over and done with.

The salad was wonderful! "Ish really good!" But now there was one problem - now Rin was feeling a spike in the buzz and she held her head before falling overlanding on something that did not feel like hard wooden floor but rather like Joel's lap instead.

After Falkor was done reminiscing about the past, he dove into his plate of pork and vegetables. In between shoveling food in his "beak," Falkor downed many more glasses of nectar. Though he didn't seem like Falkor was paying attention to Mickey, he was very intently listening.

"Seraphine and I broke do to the fact that we had apposing views on which crew to join. I personally wanted to have a life of adventure and over taking smaller ships. Seraphine didn't want any of that, she felt her calling was on Constantine's ship protecting people and making sure the treaty is never broken. I've seen first hand what Royalty call "protecting" it's people. What a joke, all they care about are themselves. That's why up till I met our Captain here, I hated and purposely took missions that dealt pain and suffering to the rich, pompous Royals of my planet and here too." Falkor spewed angrily. Stopping himself before he said to much more, he looked over at Mickey with an inquisitive expression.

"So, Mickey besides the pure beauty of your castle, what was it like to be a fish with arms and legs?" Falkor muttered laughingly, barely being able to keep himself in his chair."No, but seriously Mickey, did your father treat as an equal or his heir or were you exiled from war strategies and all the planning it took to run a country? I ask because if we end up paired on a mission, I need to know you can come up a plan if and when things hit the fan." Falkor expressed concernedly."This may just be the nectar talking, but did you ever date any "real" fish Mickey?" Falkor joked.

"What's good Captain? I made grub if you're hungry." He said nonchalantly moving from the counter over to the table. Flopping down in his usual chair, Falkor looked over at Azazel holding up a bottle of nectar."Can I top off your glass, your majesty?" Falkor asked unsteadily."I know you were standing on the other side of the wall since I started my story about Sera, I heard you heading this way all the way from your room. So, what's your story sir, do you have a lost love?" Falkor asked pryingly."Come on sir, it's a night of celebration, plus I already your amazing show on the beach earlier," Falkor spoke eyeing Azazel over his plate.

"Don't think you're getting out of this either Runt. Since, everyone was so intrigued to here my sob story, you gotta spill your guts too." Falkor stressed sternly."We've all dealt with love, loss, anger, hatred and misfortune. I'll let you decide between your lost love or how you came to this ship." Falkor managed to fumble out of his numb lips

Standing outside the galley, Azazel heard everything Falkor was saying, even though he heard this story quite a few times. Azazel thought to himself'This never ends well, which I use to my advantage.'

"Azazel, you don't have to hide, this is your ship!" Mickey said as he hiccuped. "Want some grub Captain?" Mickey offered, sliding a plate towards his seat at the head. Before entering the galley Azazel put his bandanna back over his nose and mouth. He walked over to his "throne," this enormous chair looked more a decorative piece, rather than something you actually sit in. Azazel had brought his "throne" with from his home world.' Being king has it's perks.' Azazel thought to himself as him slumped into his chair. Grabbing the plate Mickey had slide him, with out even looking Azazel started grabbing handfuls of meat and vegetables and stuffed his mouth. After listening to Falkor speak of his split from Sera.

Azazel couldn't help be rethink the time he spent with Lilith, with out realizing it he had a crooked smirk come across his face."Can I top off your glass, your majesty?" Falkor asked unsteadily."I know you were standing on the other side of the wall since I started my story about Sera, I heard you heading this way all the way from your room. So, what's your story sir, do you have a lost love?" Falkor asked pryingly."Come on sir, it's a night of celebration, plus I already your amazing show on the beach earlier," Falkor spoke eyeing Azazel over his plate.

"My story isn't that interesting. But since we are planning this game on the one night we can't do anything fun, I will humor my crew this one time. Before I start this story we are gonna need a lot more star fruit and nectar." Azazel exclaimed as he held up his glass."To the craziest, most loyal, down right savage crew of mine!" He screamed at the top of his lungs.

After downing five straight cups of nectar, Azazel felt that he was the right amount of drunk to tell this story."Alright my scurvy crew, you talked me into it. My story is a bit more twisted then a disagreement or being kidnapped and whatever happened to you Runt. I grew up on planet that only knew war and famine. Being the only heir to the throne of the planet, I was thrown into battle before I could fully use my powers. My father was the king and his greedy, ungrateful brother was trying to over throw him. I wasn't aloud to be alone ever." Azazel paused for a second to down another cup.

With the final swallow of the nectar" The day finally came where the king and his brother faced off in open combat. Since I was the heir to throne I was placed next to my father as we charged head on, into the opposing army. With extremely heavy losses on both sides, my uncle wanted to settle this war with a one on one fight. My father being the brave man he was accepted the challenge. My father lost his life that day, but I avenged him. I snuck into my uncle's tent while he slept, I drew his own dagger and slit his throat. Feeling like my father had avenged, I grabbed the crown, placed it on my head and walked out the front of the tent. The guards came charging at me, but it my culture if you kill the king you become king, only if you come from royal blood that is. From the age of ten till I abandoned my people when I turned one hundred twenty, I ruled that planet with an iron fist. Then one day a mystic appeared, offering me a magic spell to open a rift where I could spy on whoever I chose. All he asked for in return was lodging for the night." Once again Azazel paused, but this time to eat more.

"With the magic spell I opened a rift to spy on the Royal family for the Island of Te-Fiti. More specifically, Queen Lilith. I watched her grow up, but that wasn't enough. I wanted the throne. So, I murdered her family, but little did I know that Constantine was already in the picture. I was forced into signing this stupid treaty and also being exiled following the treaty. My heart belongs to Queen Lilith, but my only true loves are War and the Ocean." Azazel exclaimed as he got up from his chair and left the galley with out another word.

❝Maybe if beat her the world will make sense for once.❞

Suddenly the attention was on him. Run squirmed, not really wanting to talk about his pathetic past. He really just wanted to escape to his room and read the same old book over and over again because at least in the world of books, no one could bother him. It was like escapism, wouldn't you say? Luckily he was saved by the Captain who decided to quite figuratively spill his guts on his past and his story, a lot of which revolved around probably the only friend he had anymore. He told his story of war and then he just suddenly left before anyone could say anything about it. It was illuminating to say the least. But how was he supposed to tell his own story after something like that? Not that there was much to tell, his just wasn't interesting like everyone else. But he had a feeling Falkor wasn't going to just let him escape, either.

He looked away, pulling at the collar of his shirt in an attempt to be tough. "W-well, um... I don't know if any of you have heard of Mithras?" The Kingdom of the Harpies in the land far north of here in the frigid arctic circle, above where Russia once was back before it existed. "I'm the prince. Or used to be the prince. Or something." He paused to give them time to laugh if they wanted, to laugh at such a weak person being a prince. "Father was quite the womanizer, ending up with getting two kids from different mothers. Then he had the bright idea to have them both compete for the throne. Of course, which kid won, their mom would get to be Queen." He made an awkward sort of laugh then, remembering the past. "Rin and I were friends back then, almost? I liked to sit in my room and read books and she would come with me and watch."

But the competition got worse and any chance they had of a good sibling relationship was ruined. "But Father's idiocy continued, the two concubines kept on squabbling and using us as political pawns and Rin had always been better than I was." A twisted sort of smile came to his face as he remembered the next moment. "I was sick of it, so I decided to change everything. You see, everyone hated the King, he was a tyrant, he brutalized the commoners! So it was easy to rile them up into revolution, so they destroyed the place, Rin and I ended up on the Pirate King's ship for a while..." His stomach churned as he tried to get rid of Yuna's image in his mind. "But they were too happy and dumb for me so I left and now I'm here." The former prince looked away, knowing his story wasn't all that cool and impressive.

There was a lot more he could have talked about, like being tortured by the commoners as revenge against the Monarchy, of being put in a strange shield magic by Rin because she pitied that he couldn't defend himself from the betrayal, or how he had to be trained by Captain Constantine in order to once again compete over the position of second in command, or of the fleeting childish crush he had on Yuna... there was no need to tell any of that, was there?

❝Maybe if beat her the world will make sense for once.❞

The sun was shining, the birds were singing, but Tarun was not singing with them. He was quick to rise, one of the early ones to say hello to the sunrise. "Good morning to you too." He said glumly, feeling a bit dull despite everything. Well, he might as well start his training routine, but it was nice to see the morning come by. They were still here at the docks to Te-Fiti's island but soon enough they'd have to go? Tarun sighed as he listened to the calming waves. "Maybe next time I'll get to see more of Lily." He wondered aloud, leaving the beautiful view of the calm ocean and the bright sun behind as it was time to get his morning routine done.

With the clear goal in mind of beating Rin, no matter what Yuna mocked and jeered in his head, he got to work. 100 push ups, 100 sit ups, 50 lifts for both arms, he was doing his best to train his physical body to it's best. "You really are pathetic, you won't win just like this." Yuna giggled at him and he shrugged, continuing his exercise, picking up both his swords to practice swinging for both arms. "That's why I have to un-pathetic myself." He whispered, sweating a bit. At least Mickey or Falkor weren't here, they'd probably bug him even more about this. Still, socially awkward as he was, how could he ever befriend anyone on this ship?

❝Maybe if I save him he'll be a good brother again.❞

The sun was shining, the birds were singing, and Rin was singing too, wiggling her toes to the beat of the song. She was in a good mood particularly because through sheer luck she did not end up hungover thanks to last night's escapades. The harpy princess finished practicing her voice on the high winds. Balling her hand into a fist, she narrowed her eyes. It was time to become the Second in Command again, not just some giggly floozy! "Be serious and responsible today, you already had your day off." Luckily she had already gotten most of the crew's landry. By using shield magic she could scoop water up from the sea to clean the clothes with, as well as fly up to set up wire lines to hand all the clothes on. She even used a fancy concoction that acted as a cleaning formula she bought from the island!

So for a few hours Meirin took care of the landry for the entire ship, happily doing her work to make less work for everyone else. The bottle was half empty by the end of it yet she felt satisfied, rubbing her hands together as the task was finished. "Okay, that's done." She organized each set of clothes on a different wire to separate for each crewmate of course. As she hid all undergarments inside any pants or shirts for modesty's sake. "I guess I'll clean the deck now." Because after doing the laundry the water would always pool and gather on the wood of the deck so she might as well get started. She found a mop from the closet and began getting to work, smiling a little. Was it weird to enjoy doing chores like this for everyone? Maybe so, but it was okay to be weird, wasn't it?

The room was spinning at a million miles per hour as Lilith's eyes fluttered open to the sunlight coming in through her open balcony. As she sat up in her bed, her head felt like it was about to explode. Groaning she rubbed her face until she could see clearly, her room was trashed. Curtain's ripped in half falling from the ceiling, fluffy feathers all over the room. "What happened last night?" She asked herself out loud as she continue to look at the damage done to her room, she knew this wasn't going to look so good on the pre-celebration from O'Stara. She didn't know how she was going to explain this to her adviser.

She noticed her family portrait was the most destroyed item in the whole room, it looked as if someone had tried to climb it multiple times before releasing it wouldn't hold them. She walked over broken wood, books and the ripped out pages, pieces of furniture before she got to the wall across from her bed. She reached out to touch the soft family portrait, as she did the whole thing fell, revealing a weird stone wall. Her jaw dropped at the ancient carvings within the wall, markings carved into the wall in the shape of a door. She pushed on the stone wall to try to get it to move, unfortunate it didn't work."What is this.." She said as she started running her fingers over the writings trying to find a weak spot in the wall.

As her index finger ran over the middle of the door her finger got pricked by a needle, she retreated her hands from the door as she knelt down to look at the spot on the door. A small sound from a mechanical system came from behind the door and the middle of the door slid open a small compartment. As Lilith looked at the shape now in the middle of the door, she recognized the shape from her childhood. Her eyes watered as she thought of the necklace her mother use to wear. The old Egyptian amber beetle that was encase with silver liquid. Quickly she ran to her desk to pull out a wand that she used for guidance with spells. She waved it across the portrait, waving the wand towards the ceiling as she watched the portrait go to it's once beautifully sewn curtain."Nobody can know of this, for now.."

Sweat dripped from her forehead down her chin as she wasted through what little energy she had left, by the time she was done fixing her entire room it was time for her to start getting ready for the day so more sleep wasn't an option. As she was about to head to her bathroom to get ready she saw Constantine's necklace he had gifted her last night laying on her bedside table. She smiled to herself as she reached for it, putting it around her neck as she got ready for the day. Lilith took an extra hour in her closet coming up with the perfect white colored combo for today's attire.

As soon as she opened her bedroom doors she expected the hallway to be empty, however she was sadly disappointed by the unpleasant welcoming of Viktor her adviser and his four servants. He eye'd Lilith's attire before smiling in approval. "It's great to see you are finally getting the hand of a queen's fashion senses."

"What? I never lost my royal fashion sense. There's a fine difference from fashion senses and fashion taste." Lilith explained as she exhaled, walking out into the hallway. The whole crew that had greeted her at her bedroom door followed behind her heels. Her shoulders were grabbed by Viktor as he started guiding her away from the dinning hall and towards her throne room.

"Sorry, your Highness. There's no time for breakfast today, straight to the throne room. We already have a line from the front gates to the docks awaiting to give you their gifts." He stated as she began to argue her case, Lilith shut her mouth, rolling her eyes as she continued towards the throne room. Before she was to enter she had to switch crowns from her little headband to the large silver and diamond plated crown that she had learned over the years to hold steady on her head.

As she walked outside the cheering begun, making her recall last nights speech. This morning everything was to be done fast, no big speech. Her job was to walk all the way down to the docks to wish all the navy seals a safe trip and to personally open the shields so every navy ship could leave together. The list of every family she would be talking to was quickly shoved in her hand. She looked down at the list and groaned at the name 'Azazel', she had forgotten that he was first to give her his gift.

As she made it down the long tedious stone staircase she greeted Azazel with a hug, putting on her famous smile. She kissed both his cheeks before stepping back, she noticed how the three crew members wore bandannas just as he did, hiding their faces. She honestly thought she didn't know any of them, even unable to see the color of their eyes. "Thank you, Azazel and your fearless crew for joining us last night. Your company was refreshing at the beach also. I am here to personally accept your gift for the island of Te-Fiti, what will you be offering us this year?" Lilith asked him cocking her head to side, she watched as he pulled out a folded piece of paper and handed to Lilith, he didn't say anything, his eyes appeared to be locked on hers the whole time.

Lilith's face blushed as she noticed this, taking the paper to break the eye contact. As she read over the paper she took a deep breath in, trying to recover any immediate stress she received from reading Azazel's letter. "You are giving me your oath to serve under the Captain of my Navy. Wow, that's such great news. As O'Stara's festival rules I'm sure your aware that I cannot deny such an offer to another royal member of the court. I trust I will see you at dusk at the docks, I trust you now know you must lead the journey out of the docks." Lilith passed the letter to Viktor who read it over quickly, he took a deep breath, his eyes going wide as she leaned over and whispered what her next response should be.

Lilith looked Azazel in his red eyes as she reached for his hand, giving him a firm goodbye hand shake. "Thank you for taking on this responsibility Captain. I will send word when I have orders. Please enjoy the rest of the festival." She smiled as she walked down the road away from Azazel and his crew, to the next crew that had gifts for her. A foreign crew that she didn't know to much about, she waited patiently for the language adviser to explain what the Captain was giving her.

Upon awaking with the sun peaking up through the water, Joel sat up, realizing he had gone up to the decks to sleep instead of down in the bunker with Rin. There was something uneasy about the island last night that had him on his own personal lockdown. As he rose to his feet he saw the bridge wasn't connected to the docks anymore and Constantine was coming up the rope ladder. "I guess we're leaving pretty early then?" He asked, though Constantine really didn't answer him. Joel wondered if he was in ghost form or if Constantine was just focused on something in his head. He disappeared behind his Captain's courtier doors.

As Joel was headed downstairs he past Rin, coming up. "Enjoy chores, I guess." He said as he disappeared into the mist of realty, his spirit floating over the ship that was starting to sail away from the docks. He watched as everyone fell into their positions, he decided to stalk Rin, watching her work. He wanted to observe her to understand exactly what type of person she had grown up into since the last time he had granted her a wish. Although back then he was only granting one wish per person now he was up to three wishes, like the true genies before him.

He leaned back, leaning against gravity to take the weight off of him. Joel wasn't sure if he could remember where he came from and what his childhood was like, however he didn't care too much. All he knew was his life now, granting wishes and moving on. There was no way out of it, it was hard to permanently kill a genie, he had heard of it being possible but he had tried to off himself so many times, nothing worked yet.

After a while of watching Rin, she just kept mopping, it became to bore him so he decided to go stalk someone else. He tried to enter Constantine's room, when he couldn't walk through the door it suddenly opened and Constantine looked at him dead in the eye. "Even in the spirit world you cannot enter without my consent." He shut the door in Joel's face after saying that.

"Well okay then!" Joel screamed at the door, knocking over all the swords that hung on the wall next to the door. He looked back to Rin who looked spooked by the sudden disturbance and nobody around. "Well.. Eh, I don't care." Joel muttered turning to go see what the cook was doing.

As he turned to face the hallway he had walked into he screamed loudly as a horn impaled him... Well not really, since he was a ghost. He turned to see Yuna running up the stairs to the deck that he just came from. "I thought I was sneaky." Joel whispered to himself as he clung to his shirt, his heart pounding from the sudden event, where did that kid have to go in such a hurry? An imagine appeared in his head of Yuna falling and getting her horn stuck in the deck flooring, that instantly made him feel better hoping he'd actually be able to see that one day.

Joel stepped into the kitchen, he expected Seraphine to be dancing around making food, but she was reading a book at her small kitchen table. She wore a brown tattered shirt and blue shorts, it was obvious she had messed with the shorts to make room for her tails to come out a custom made hole. It actually worked the more Joel thought about it. Seraphine didn't look so good, sick or sad, he couldn't really tell her emotions. She looked like she was rolling around in flour and oil, breadcrumbs stuck out in her hair and her blue orb was a black color, something he hadn't seen yesterday.

Not wanting to get caught up in whatever drama was happening in the kitchen he slowly backed out and retreated back to the docks to sit on the deck railing and stare at the water while the crew members all played their part on the ship that was well out of few from the little island.

It started like a normal day for Seraphine, or so she thought as she started to get up. The last thing she could remember was leaving the ship long after everyone had gone to bed. She remembered getting into a debate with Falkor, however getting back to the ship was all a blur. She rubbed her stomach, it felt tight and sore. She ran to the bucket in her room to throw up anything she had eaten before she went to bed. She never got sick, what was this? Suddenly she was all better, she took a deep breath before she grabbed her toiletries and went to the bathroom.

Her shower was long and relaxing, her tails took forever to wash mainly because the feeling of water on her fur was an uncomfortable feeling. Not to mention it put so much weight on her hips and lower back. She hadn't successfully found a way to 'work out' her tails besides throwing stuff with her tails, which didn't come in handy like she thought it would.

After getting ready for the day Seraphine quickly got started in the kitchen, lightening a fire for the stone oven and started to boil some water for warm tea to serve with at the breakfast bar she was going to do. Everyone had a busy day of chores, so during the morning real breakfasts weren't really a thing. However she always delivered breakfast to Constantine, it was how she got what to make for lunch and dinner. He would sip on his tea and pick at the food she would bring him. Then he would tell her what to make for lunch and dinner and to be on her way.

Seraphine carefully cut up a bag small bag of potatoes into small cubes, she rinsed them over cool water and then placed them in a basket. She added three more pots of water over the fire stove top, dumping the potatoes in one of those pots. She then placed a bag of eggs into the other pot and a handful of fruit in the third pot. As she could hear the water within the large iron kettle pot start to boil she grabbed the large wooden tray she normally put Constantine's breakfast on and placed it on the table. As the kettle started to whistle she had placed freshly peeled hard boiled eggs, bread, cheese and a cup on the tray. She split the boiling water in two tea pots, placing one on the tray and the other on the counter in the kitchen. If Yuna or Rin were hungry they would know to fix their selves a plate from within the kitchen.

Seraphine fixed some dough up and placed it in her metal dish. Next she cut up the boiled fruit and put them in a bowl, she mixed honey, sugar, and cinnamon in with the fruit before placing it in the middle of the dough. She covered the whole thing in oil and placed it inside the stone oven. As she waited for it to cook she decided to read the next chapter in a book that she had been reading over the last two months, rarely did she ever find time to read it. It took her three days to read one chapter because the baking process of breakfast only ever took ten minutes and it turns out she was in fact a super slow reader.

After her fruit creation was done she took portions and separated them on plates, one of those being on Constantine's tray. Seraphine knew the Captain liked fruit so she gave him more than she normally would. After his tray had the right amount of food on it she grabbed Falkor's recipe book and the tray she happily walked up to Constantine's corridors.
