The fall was pain. But Gabriel felt like a fallen before he and his brothers and sisters were sent plumetting from the heavens. Now they're condemned to walk among these humans, unable to take their true form. Gabriel has nothing against humans. His father created them in his image, but his home is in the heavens. He wants to see the diamond gates and the take his rightful place at the left hand of the Father. And he doesn't. Part of him can't forgive his Father for what he did. He feels betrayed after having been such a loyal servant for so long, just to be cast out.... That is what fuels his apathy and his anger. Gabriel doesn't care about very many things anymore. He doesn't support Lucifer, but still has great love for the Father. Whether or not he can forgive him, that's the question.
"I was sent to destroy Jerusalem. I destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah."
[center]{ Personality }
Apathetic. Once he was a fierce and fanatically loyal servant to his Father, but that slowly waned over the years. He was a messenger of good and terrible visions. He was used as a weapon, though not one as strong and fierce as his brother Michael. Michael was revered in Heaven. Gabriel was not one seen or heard of so often, so that meant that the only thing that spoke for Gabriel was his actions. This angel is a kind person, though that won't be your first impression. Your first impression would be strange and you'd wonder why someone who was the left hand of God; his messenger, could fall so far into a pit of despair and apathy. What he tries to tell himself and everyone else is, that he would rather be left alone, but given the chance, he would return to Heaven in a heartbeat. Gabriel has the gift of foresight and will sometimes help humans by whispering a certain future thing in their ears, or appearing to them. He believes they are capable of great good, but also great evil. He has seen how many religions on earth have used their faith to start wars and calling them "holy." That disgusts him, and sometimes he is so vengeful that he wishes the Father would grant him his fiery sword to cleanse his creation of these blackhearted humans.
Deep within him is the fire of heaven, though it needs to be rekindled. Gabriel is losing faith.
