Red always disliked it when other assassins belittled her work. It wasn't a rare thing actually. Many of the assassins thought of her work as less then impressive, due to the lack of bloodthirsty violence. Many of them were just into violent killing, while Red was more of a thinker. Her bosses respected her for intelligence while her co-workers thought of her as not a full assassin.

It did not take long to reach the motel. Both Vincent and herself were top assassins after all. Shortly after they arrived and began inspecting the scene two gunshots filled the air to the west of their current location. Jax was moving fast but she actually thought she knew where he was going. An old warehouse they found awhile back and had used before. It was a little secret between the two but it was in that area. She would only have one chance at this, when they got their she was going to have to stop Vincent or both of them would be killed. "Vincent, follow me, I think I know where Jax is going."

He pulled down his mask and smiled at Red when she defended her profession.
"You tell 'im, Pet." he smirked. Though he wouldn't admit it, Clown admired Red's wits. "Here, take the fan ,Red. I've got to go back and make sharp pointy things that would go through a man so fast he couldn't pull a gun's trigger." He placed the fan on next to one of her computers.
Clown turned to Dan. "What about you Gramps. Would you like me to make you one of those canes that is actually a sword?"

Annette turned her head as the gunshots pierced the slience in the air. Her long red hair falling on her face, her hand lightly brushing off to the side. Her blood red eyes starred into the darkness. She heard nothing else. More assassins dead, she thought, closing her eyes, she knew Jax was nearby but she didn't want to rush into things. She opened her eyes. Annette was thinking of a plan, Jax would always be looking behind his back, anyone would, it would be obvious for someone to attack from the back, "but maybe if i were to get ahead of him," she said outloud to herself. Annette turned her head around to the direction of the company. More assassins will be on their way for the chase, she frowned I need to hurry. She looked back to the direction of the shots, and began to run swiftly into the night.
Annette reached the dead assassins. She stoped scanning the rooftops Now which way did you go, she asked herself. She then began to run in a random direction jumping from rooftop to rooftop. She peered down to the streets on the side every once in a while in hopes of seeing something out of place. She contuied running quitely, her ears ready to pick up the heartbeat of a mouse. Her eyes ready to spot the slightest movement.

He was a few blocks away from an old warehouse that he knew, planning to go there for hiding. But with this person nearby, he would have to take out any "witnesses" before he tries to go in hiding.

He dropped down to the roof without making a noise. He came in back of one of the three and punched then grabbed his throat and crack his spine to leave him numb in Shadow's grasp. As soon as he was done with that one he knew the other two would be onto him so he drew out his dual daggers. The first of the two came in and Shadow was ready for the fight. The two had swords. So as one came in he flipped his daggers for the hilt to be facing up and the blade down. A stroke down from the blade was all that he needed to boost his momentum. As the blade went down the dagger got their to block it. He calculated of the distance between the two not so far. So as the blade dropped he slammed his free dagger in the back of the throat of the striker and easily made his other dagger slit the throat of the witness.
Blood pouring onto the ground Shadow wiped his bloody daggers on the clothes of the other two. "This night dead will fall onto the streets." He told himself.

As Red defended herself he looked towards the girl and gave a small nod. He admired the smart girl more then he did the joker standing in the room and only because Clown only reminded him of the soldiers in Vietnam that showed no respect for the dead. Making jokes and stealing of the corpses only got killers into trouble. This girl though was smart and thought things through before she leapt into something. "Fine do your work and while your at it look up Jax's history and see if you can predict where he might be moving next." he said.

She lifted her chin slightly as she said, "Fine," in a clipped tone. She pulled her chair back up to her computer. She hated using it for anything as trivial as getting background information. This computer could do so much more, it was a God damn Tianhe-I! It could hack anything . . . Well, almost anything, she amended. She wasn't having much luck with hacking those satellites. She decided to take Dan's advice (even though it sounded more like an order) and look up some background information on Jax. She doubted she'd find anything useful, but she was getting a little frustrated with those satellites. She needed a quick break.

He smirks, as he took a few steps, thinking for a moment till he looked into an alley by the street. It was the perfect place for a "hunter" to sneak in and wait for the prey to just walk by. He lifts one of his guns and tilts it to the side, aiming at a wall in the alley. Pulling the trigger, he fires. A bullet then ricocheted off the walls, suddenly jumping all around the alley as it traveled along it to draw anyone out. Once the sound of the jumping bullet stopped, he chuckled abit, letting it echo down the dark and dirty alley. "A silent and sneaky one huh? So they finally send someone tougher this time?" He spoke out into the alley so whoever it was could hear. He went along to putting one gun back onto his belt and taking out one of his katanas, letting the sound of the metal slideing against the case as it was removed. Gun in his left hand and a katana in his right, he went along to taking a few steps into the dark alley. He couldn't enter his "hidding spot" until he was sure no one was watching him.

Leaning against the wall she was hiding behind, Henrietta closed her eyes trying to calm herself down. This was how they caught her last time, she was too worked up and she had made mistakes, this can't happen again, not this time. She had to escape. Henrietta pulled out her side arm, fingering it for a second. She wasn't sure what to do but she had to stop Vincent and make him away of the second assassin, whoever she was. Closing out her sight Henrietta concentrating on her hearing, she could do this. The first sound was of a blade being drawn from it's scabbard, that was Jax, the sound was familiar but afterwards there was a faintest chink. Henrietta's eyes shot open. Quickly, Henrietta fired three bullets from her hiding spot, aiming them so that they would hit directly at Jax's feet which would make him step back and dodge whatever was being thrown at him. At the same time however she was pulling out one of her P90s and vaulting the ledge of the building they were on. As she leveled with Vincent she squeezed the trigger as her body dropped.
She was not worried whether or not the bullets hit Vincent or not, she was so close to him that some of them must have, she could only hope that they killed him or at least wounded him enough to allow her and Jax time to escape. Henrietta slowed her fall by grabbing onto the third and then second story fire escapes before making a rolling stop on the ground in front of Jax. On her way down she had indeed spotted Annatte but was quickly back on her feet and running. She didn't stop and just ran past Jax, "Run with me" she said as she passed him.

As he reached by her, he spoke, "What the hell do you think your doing?!" He wasn't planning on getting anyone else involved in this "mess" he got into, especially not someone that he knew well. "Don't you know they'll most likely kill you instead of brining you back?!"

"What the hell do you think your doing?! Don't you know they'll most likely kill you instead of bringing you back?!"
Henrietta scowled. "I know exactly what I'm doing. And you know what, I would rather they killed me then I be forced to serve another day under them. You have no idea what they did to me Jax. If you knew then you would not be asking me what the hell I am doing."
Henrietta kept running for as long as possible until she thought they had reached a safe distance away before stopping in the shadows to catch her breath. She hadn't expected to make it this far, she had expected to not make 10 feet by herself. "Why Jax?" Henrietta whispered. "Why did you leave without me.... You promised, You promised we would leave together and you left me there. Do you know how I feel? Being left by my only friend in the hands of the people who... who.... raped me!" She wanted to punch him in the face but she couldn't bring herself to throw that punch. She couldn't hurt Jax. Her voice softened and then cracked "Please Jax.... I want to know." she said looking up into his eyes. Tears were still glistening her face but her eyes were almost like daggers, she had to know why he left her there. "Please tell me..."

"God I'm bored." he said with a sigh. Then he got another idea. "Well, that's what geniuses with no talents do." he said with a chuckle to himself.
He'll just sneak out to see how the hunt is going. He won't try to capture Jax, but he'll just watch out.
Clown went into his room, and quickly opened the window. As he jumped out, he closed it on the other side.
Clown fell against the roof a couple stories down with a loud THUD.
"Ouch." he moaned, but slowly got up. "Thank God that I don't have real bones."
He streched for a moment and then took a running start and began to jup from roof to roof.
When he heard gunshots near by, Clown grinned. "Yup."
He raced to where he hear them and found the assassin known as Vincent screaming at another assassin.
"Hello there." he said looking over Vincent. "Need some help?" Clown smiled.

Henrietta walked beside Jax a little while, listening carefully for anyone who might have been following them. So far there was nothing so either they gave up, which was highly unlikely, or they lost Carnage temporarily. However, it was difficult to escape from Carnage. She had never known anyone to escape from them, but every once in a while an escapee's sign shows up as terminated without a body. There was hope in that she thought. "So, where to now Jax?"

She located some background information on Jax. Unfortunately, none of it was particularly useful. He'd spent most of his life in Carnage. There was a record of past 'missions' he'd been on. She doubted he would return to any of these places though.
"No bites," she told Dan, who was still standing in her doorway, as she spun her chair around to face him, "He has no connections. It's a dead end."
