Introduction

Image

Grimsby, a small town sat on the edge of lake Tyrell and surrounded by the Wyre forest, claimed to be haunted by the inhabitants of the small town, the town's high street is still small businesses, although they tend to be owned by the richer families, the most popular shop is a clothes store owned by the Pentaghasts, the mother designs and makes custom dresses for the woman, whilst her husband is a professional tailor, their daughter is in charge of stock and purchases the latest fashion trends and sells them in her parents boutique. The theatre is owned by the same family, but run by their son, it films the biggest movie at the time for a week whilst also showing a few less new movies, occassionally showing a classic movie, a few times in the year. The Pentaghasts are the richest and most influential family in Grimsby, their secret? Well, they are vampires and have centuries of experience in life, and they are not the only supernatural species in Grimsby.

Image

Vampires
These vampires aren't like the ones you know however, they still age and reproduce, however, they are exceptionally strong and fast, nearly invincible, unless touched by fire or silver, staked in the heart or beheaded. They are all capable of glamouring, yet the odd few have other gifts, such as telepathy or flight.

Werewolves
These werewolves are men and woman who shift in direwolves when the moon is full, they tend to roam the forests in packs. They are bloodthirsty killers and attack anything not a wolf during the full moon, this blood thirst has even travelled into their human lives, they are easily agitated and quick to anger, when angered to a certain degree they will semi shift into a lycan, with pointed ears, sharpened teeth and elongated canines and claws instead of nails, a few weres can achieve this form without anger and can maintain it.

Witches
Witches are humans, who can utilize magic, any human can become a witch if they bind their soul to an angel or demon, these witches are the most powerful, yet are very rare as the spirit cannot possess the body as its own and that is all such spirits want, except for angels they have no care for the human world. However some are born with the power to utilize magic without binding, their magic tends to consist of potion making, precognition, palmistry and soul summoning.

The night was quiet as the Pentaghast family descended onto the town, the mother graceful and proud strut with purpose, her arm occasionally lifting to place a cigarette in her mouth and passing smoke through the air, her husband had her other arm looped through his as he strode with confidence. His daughter trailed behind, eyeing up the men on the other side of the street, casting smirks and winks in their direction, the son stayed behind his family, he was almost hidden in the darkness, her torso covered by a dark jacket and his legs wearing dark denim.

As the Pentaghast family descended on the underbelly of the town, a small run down warehouse which housed the homeless, the all sniffed the air and smirked at each other before Nicholas wrapped the door with a gloved hand. A small slit in the door slide across to reveal two piercingly bright eyes, emphasised by the pale skin. "Nicholas," a sultry voice acknowledged before opening the door to reveal a tall woman, hair dark as the night and eyes bright like a beacon. "Right this way." The herder led them into a wide open area of the warehouse, filled with cages and the scent of fear and panic, Louisa letting out a moan of pleasure, fear was her favourite flavour. As the family chose their blood donor, screams disturbed the peacefulness of the quiet harbour.

…

Jenna was finishing closing up the cafe as they passed her, she could feel their darkness and a shiver passed through her body but she simply continued about her own business, no way was she going to stop them. The town was dark and cold, a slight moisture to the air, teasing the coming rain, Jenna hugged herself and rubbed her forearms as she walked the short distance to her gran's house.

Once inside the house, Jenna heard the light patter of the rain starting, she let out a slight laugh, thanking her luck. "Is that you Jenna?" Betty called down the stairs.
"Yeah," She replied, hanging her coat on the hook and placing her bag underneath. "Everything okay?"
"Of course, just making sure. Can't be too careful these days." Jenna rolled her eyes at her grandmother's statement. "There's tea on the table for you." Jenna walked into the kitchen to see a plate with potatoes, carrots, broccoli and 2 sausages on it.

After finishing dinner, Jenna climbed the stairs and went into her gran's study, she was standing over a map of the town and dangling her birthstone over the map. "Whatcha doing?"
"I can sense another witch in the town, but she's hiding herself."
"Do you think she's dangerous?" Jenna asked, picking up the potion book and flicking through the pages.
"If she wasn't, what reason would she have for cloaking herself?" Jenna looked up to her gran and shrugged. "Exactly." Jenna found the potion not long after.
"Have you tried this?" She lifted the book to show Betty.
"Of course I have, hopefully she senses someone looking for her and comes looking." Betty said, shaking her head as the scry revealed little.

Emerald looked out the window. The weather was getting nasty with winter upon them. Something Emerald never liked was the cold wet weather. She wished sometimes that she could control the weather instead but it seemed like she was just stuck with her lucky witch charms. Being home all the time and all alone she wondered what life would be like if she ever decided to uncloak herself. Who knew what other witches, or mythical creatures laid out there. Wanting to harm her espically. She decided she would rather stay in her room and practise spells while her parents were away.

She decided to go downstairs and grab some dinner which was most definetly needed. She walked down into the kitchen and watched the rain come down. It made her feel a bit depressed but she decided staying home being alone she was so used to it and that if it ended up coming to her being out in the town she most likely wouldn't last. Reading, writing sometimes on the computer. She never really made friends she didn't even know who her parents were she was a loner she had admitted it a long time ago. She grabbed a pot and made some Kraft Mac and Cheese. After it was made she put it into a bowl and brought it up to her room. Grabbing one of her many books that she had read many times she opened it reading the content again.

The witch books was in her dead grandmother's attic. She had grabbed it before her parents could even notice. Emerald opened it reading it looking at her necklace around her neck. Her grandmother said it was her birthstone and very important. Emerald felt something like a sense all of a sudden and wondered it was not knowing really what to do she continued to eat letting it not bother her to much. She decided to do nothing but try a simple spell and let that be some sort of warning or signal to who ever was looking into her. She decided to make her bowl move to the table. She did and watched it set nicely on the bedside table.

Jenna watched as her grandmother's birthstone swayed violently towards the suburban area. Jenna closed the grimoire and set it aside, she lifted one of the bottles and showed her gran.
"Is this the tracker?" Betty nodded and Jenna took a deep breath before dripping the blood like substance drip onto the map, focusing her energy she focused on the energy moving the birthstone and the droplets all started to move toward a specific spot until it stopped and the liquid simply vanished. "What happened?" Jenna asked looking at her gran with confusion covering her face, the birthstone hung limply only swaying because of Betty's shaking hands.
"I think it was a threat… or maybe she's young and doesn't even know she's being cloaked." Jenna set the vial on the table next to the map. "I think we should let her be."
Jenna gave a slight smile to her gran before lifting the grimoire and putting it back on the bookshelf. "I seen the Pentaghasts today, I think they were on their way to the Warehouse, Jenna told her gran, sadness lacing the words so delicately.
"If it were up to me and the sisters, we'd have sent Sapphire away long ago… but she has the protection of the Pentaghasts." Betty said weakly, she had given up on any chance of redemption for her old coven sister. "Maybe a travelling pack of werewolves will find the Warehouse and we'll only have to deal with cleaning things up when they finish." Jenna looked at her gran with a look of disgust but she merely walked out of the study.

For a woman of 63, she was in extremely good shape and looked as if she was only in her 40s, Jenna knew it was her magic but she couldn't help wonder how the citizens of Grimsby didn't notice it, I mean sure they pointed out that she couldn't possibly be 63 and stuff but how well Betty looked was not humanly possible at all, however Jenna just shrugged that thought off for the time being and went back over to the map. "It couldn't hurt to see who she is." Jenna removed her necklace and hovered it above the map, gently swaying her hand and focusing her energy on the magic. There was certainly something tugging, but it was faint, like it was hidden but only just hidden.

Emerald still felt something like she was being located but she ignored it hoping she had scared them away or something and that they just understood. Emerald got up and put her hair into a ponytail looking in the mirror. Literally always being alone she never really knew how to connect with people. She wouldn't even know how. She never went to school and when she did go outside it was just in her backyard for a walk. Her parents were never home and she liked it that way. Emerald got up and walked downstairs and put her dishware in the sink. She looked around and realized that she still needed to finish her puzzle in the living room. She walked out to the living room and sat down in front of the 5000 piece puzzle of cats. She did like cats most likely because she had a cat and loved it to pieces. She picked up her cat Furball and looked at her. "Aren't you so cute eh?" She put Furball down and felt that the presence was gone and there was no one looking for her. It seemed like they had given up and she was fine with that.

Emerald continued to work on her puzzle with some classical music playing in the background. Emerald then felt the presence again and she knew that it seemed she wasn't going to give up who ever it was. Emerald didn't know anyway of contacting this other witch, Her grandmother never had it in her spell book so she decided to just let her continue to search she would see if they or whoever could spot her then they would. Emerald continued with her puzzle letting the feeling stay there getting stronger all the time. Eventually the cloaking spell wouldn't work and she would be found but it was just a chance she was willing to take.

Jenna clicked her tongue as she grew impatient with the magic, her head starting to hurt as she forced a lot of energy into breaking the cloaking spell and then she heard her gran shout,
"What did I say about leaving the poor girl be?" Jenna put her necklace back on with a sigh before rolling up the map and leaving the room, locking the door with a very old key and waving her hand over the door, causing it to vanish as if no door had ever been there, as in its place was a window overlooking the garden.

Jenna descended the stairs, Betty standing at the bottom with a hand on her hip. "If the girl doesn't want to be found, then we won't bother her anymore." Jenna rolled her eyes and went into the living room, sparking the fire up and turning the TV on she slumped onto the sofa, her eyes watched the TV but her mind was more focused on the other witch.

…

Louisa snarled as she finished her meal, Sapphire fed them well and made them the best blood banks ever but the Louisa had picked a bad one and she wasn't happy about it. She charged the blue eyed witch and grabbed her by the throat,
"He was rotten!" She cried, her hand clamping forcing the witch to react, sending Louisa flying backwards to which Julie caught her.
"Now, now, Louisa. You chose him, not Sapphire, she merely supplied several and you chose the wrong one, get over it." Julia told her daughter, her voice harsh yet somehow a purr. "Apologise, Sapphire, we'll be on our way. You can expect your money within the week." Sapphire nodded as the family left the warehouse.

Louisa freed herself from her mother's grasp and ran away, she had picked up a much sweeter scent not far from her and the family wouldn't follow her, they merely thought she was running away in a huff. Following her senses, she was led to a house and she wiped the blood from her mouth and rubbed it on several places on her face before walking up to the door and knocking, she could see a tanned, brunette sitting in the living room doing a puzzle and she called out,
"Please! Please, help me!"

Emerald looked at her puzzle still quite intently focused listening to her cat purring made it feel better for her. She listened and felt the feeling getting stronger and she knew any minute that the cloaking spell would be off and she would no longer be hidden. But she decided that maybe it wasn't such a bad idea but then again it could be, she really has never spent any time with people she didn't even go to school. All her learning was done here at the house on her computer online. Her father gave her instructions in the morning she woke up once. Her parents weren't really parents they more were like the inn keepers who you never saw. Emerald was so emerged in the puzzle she didn't even realize that the feeling was gone and again she wondered what for things were going on with the female or male hunting her down but what for.

Emerald was busy and picked her cat up and placed it on her lap listening to nothing but his purring and classical music. She heard a knock at the door and knew the person could not have found her already. She took a breath and began to mumble a few words she decided letting someone know where she is wasn't that bad anyway she decided that she could always get the gun out of the garage. She got up and placed her cat on the floor letting him follow her. She walked over to the door and checked into the umbrella bin noticing the one gun was still there. Emerald looked out the door window and opened it a slight bit. "What can I help you with? What's wrong?" Emerald didn't know who she was and what she wanted she still only kept her head out just a bit wondering what for trick or what was going on.

Louisa lifted her hand to her face, "Please, some maniac attacked me out here." She cried, "Please, can I just come in, I dunno where I am, I was just passing when my car broke down and out of nowhere this nut job attacks me." Louisa was an excellent actress and only the most perceptive of people could see through her and even then, they had to know her better than she did.

…

Betty let out a pained gasp, Jenna sat up worried, "Gran?"
"Something's about to happen?" She got up and walked over to the window, looking out into the street. "Something bad."
"Like what?" Jenna asked, standing beside her gran.
"I don't know, child." She admitted before a face popped up in the face, causing Jenna to scream. Jenna ran to the front door and opened it for Andrew, the eldest child of the Pentaghasts, he placed a kiss on Jenna's cheek before stepping into the house. "Andrew, what's the matter?" Betty asked him, worry lining her wrinkles.
"Louisa, she wasn't happy about Sapphire's service and went run about." He informed the two, he looked down at Jenna. "I thought she'd come here, magic blood attracts her… I got worried."
"Thank you, Andrew, but we can handle ourselves." Betty told him, her voice harsh. "But she didn't come here anyway, we have no idea were you sister is."
"I'll help you look." Jenna grabbed her coat from the hook and pulled it on.
"Thank you, Jenna." Andrew smiled, yet Betty shook her head before providing something helpful.
"Check the other witches houses, for all we know she's already killed them."
"What about the other witch?" Jenna asked, but Betty simply shrugged.
"She's of no coven, it wouldn't spark a war."

Jenna and Andrew left the house, Jenna turned to Andrew with a curious look in her eyes. "You could have easily tracked Louisa on your own, why come to us?" Andrew chuckled with a cocky grin.
"I like spending time with you," Jenna nudged him before rolling her eyes.
"Regular casanova." She uttered before taking off down the street.

Emerald looked at the female. Something about her was just nothing to be trusted. She looked at her up and down again. "I don't know my parents are just upstairs and don't like me opening the door to strangers. I will close the door and go get my mom." Emerald locked the door behind her and grabbed her gun from the umbrella stand putting it into her pocket and walked upstairs pretending to call her mother. "Mom there is someone in trouble at the door maybe you should go check it out." Emerald walked up the stairs and ran to her parents room grabbing the phone off their bedside table. She realized she couldn't call the police because they wouldn't believe her to be weird they wouldn't get the bad glooming feeling.

She was freaking out but sitting behind the door with the gun in her hands she knew she most likely wasn't doing anything and could have been really harmed but the truth was her entire life no one ever came here she was planted with a house in the middle of the woods no one would come here nor would she. She decided that contacting someone wouldn't be to bad. She decided to contact her. She quietly creeped into her bedroom and grabbed her witch spell book. She began to read a spell to contact another witch. She grabbed her necklace and drew energy from that. She called the other witch hoping that it would work and she or he would answer soon.

Emerald sat on her bed listening to her cat meow and hoping that somehow someone would answer soon.

Jenna and Andrew were walking down the street when Jenna felt faint and tripped, Andrew managed to catch her before she fell to the ground. They both gazed into each others eyes for a short while before Jenna shook her head and pulled herself up. "Are you okay?" Andrew asked after they'd straightened up.
"Someone's trying to contact me, they seem scared." Jenna told him, he looked concerned.
"Louisa." He exclaimed, "Try to get through, have them tell us where they are."
Jenna clutched her birthstone and closed her eyes, focusing on her breathing and energy. She passed her energy into the birthstone and it glowed, Jenna sent out a telepathic broadcast.
"Whoever you are, tell us where you are! You are in serious danger!" She cried out telepathically.

…

Louisa watched the girl walk up the stairs and listened to her call out, but Louisa saw right through, she could only sense one person in the house and she snarled with delight. "I do enjoy the hunt." She whispered, before kicking the door in. "You should have just let me in, I would have let you live that way." She laughed before walking up the stairs, she walked down the hallway and kicked a door in, checking the room it was empty, no-one was under the bed or in the wardrobe. She let out a giggled before moving to the next room and doing the same search.

Emerald felt darkness when she knew that the female at the front door was close by she felt her heart beat faster knowing that was not smart she knew that soon she wouldn't have a mother or father or this world would cease to exist to dead Emerald. Emerald sometimes knew she could be a bit dark sided and that it wasn't going to work out for her. She always saw the doomside of it I guess you would say.

Emerald suddenly felt a bit faintish and knew that it worked and she got through to the other witch. Hearing the message she knew she was in trouble it was obvious. She closed her eyes clenching on her necklace and then sent a message back. "I am Emerald Lane I live in the woods. And I know I am in danger i sense the darkness with her." Emerald sighed quietly and listened as the female walked through the house slamming doors. To be honest all that was on Emerald's mind right now was how her parents would react to the house being a mess.

They most likely would be very pissed.

Jenna picked up the call and grabbed Andrew's hand, "We have to go to the wood." Andrew lifted Jenna and sped off, Andrew was fast even fro a vampire and as they ran he sniffed the air, he had finally picked up on his sister's scent and he was now following it. Jenna could feel herself slipping and hugged closer to Andrew as he ran, and they were soon at the house. Jenna jumped off of him and called out.
"Louisa! Stop, she's under my protection!" Jenna called out and Andrew thrust his hand out, making Jenna stop in her tracks.
"She's in bloodlust, she'll kill you."
"I can handle myself." Andrew shook his head before running into the house, leaving Jenna out in the cold, she could feel the eeriness of the forest and could hearing banging and yelling from within the house, the sudden noise making her jump and when she heard Andrew yell in pain she ran for the front door, "Andrew?" She called out before Louisa appeared in front of her.
"Hello Jenna." She purred, before running at her, Jenna ducked underneath her grasping hands and tripped her up and she ran into the living room, where Andrew lay on the floor and the furniture smashed around him.
"Come on, wake up." She yelled as she smacked his face, before he woke up.
"Stop hitting me." He cried, grabbing her wrist.
"Stop your sister." She yelled pointing at the front door, Andrew disappeared with a whooshing sound as Jenna ran up the stairs. "Emerald?" She called out, worry lacing her voice.

Emerald felt her heart beating she was now looking through the magic book to see of like a disappearing act. She knew she would be doomed if she stayed here another second. Emerald looked through it when she heard running outside the house and running into the house. Barbra worried and wondered what was going on. Emerald listened as she heard a female yell and then a male speak to her also. She seemed young maybe around the same age as Emerald. She wondered what they would look like. Reading so many books it was one of her many charastics who could come up with a image quickly in her head.

Emerald stopped and heard the female chasing her start fighting with the male. The way her house was being damaged so much. "I guess my puzzle can't be saved."
Suddenly the other female walked into the house again and was doing faint talking to the male and she didn't know if it was safe for her to come out but then again when was anything safe she was a witch and there was a vampire just chasing her. Emerald listened carefully while someone ran up the stairs really quickly and then normal human speed walking. That must be the female. She heard her name be called and she knew that it must be the female tracking her.

Emerald got off her bed and moved the chair from behind the door then unlocked it and opened the door looking at the female and male in front of her door. She looked at the female and then the male. "Who was searching for me? Was it you or ... you?" She said pointing to the female. She knew it must have been the female but she might as well add emphasis on this conversation. Emerald looked at her looking through the slit between them walking down the steps to look at the damage of her house that her parents would kill her about. "My parent's are going to be so PISSED!" She said looking at the damage but the truth was her parents would most likely leave a check for a repairman or fix it while she was sleeping.

Jenna heard a door open and ran to it, "Yes, it was me. My name's Jenna Fray, this is Andrew Pentaghast and that was Louisa Pentaghast..."
"She succumbs to the bloodlust, unlike myself." Andrew interrupted Jenna, who gave him a look of annoyance. "We're vampires and Jenna here is our little witch."
"Are you alright?" Jenna asked as they descended the stairs, but Emerald seemed to ignore her and went on to express her concern about the house. "That can be fixed no problem." Jenna waved her hand and the room repaired itself, Jenna had seen it a thousand times so it didn't bother her and so she stepped in front of Emerald. "Are you hurt at all?"

As the trio stood in the living room, three people entered through the newly repaired front door. "Jenna!" Exclaimed the eldest of them as she ran over to her and wrapped her arms around her.
"Mother, Father." Andrew acknowledged before walking towards the door, as to return home. "I'll see you tomorrow, Jenna. Nice to meet you, Emerald." The corner of Jenna's lips tugged up as Andrew mentioned tomorrow.
"So you are the witch?" Betty asked, extending her hand for Emerald to shake. "I am Elizabeth Beauchamp, the resident Oracle and protector of Grimsby. This, as I'm sure you know, is Jenna Fray, my granddaughter, a powerful psychic like the rest of us Beauchamp witches, although she did get some necromancy from her father, only the soul summoning and possession though, none of that ugly business."

Not being much of a people person she didn't know how to react. It was difficult and different to see what other people look like in the flesh. She could not remember the time when she saw her parents or another person she really had everything she would need here in this house so she never found a way or want to go outside and talk to other people. She lived in the woods so no one came to her. She listened as she came over and watched as she spoke. She had watched on tv how to talk to people that you just met. "It is enchanting to meet you Jenna and Andrew. Thank you for helping me in my..... situation." Okay so she mainly watched old fashioned movies from the 1800's but she was new to this.

She listened as Andrew spoke on their species but all she really heard was the interruption he did. "Interrupting is rude just so you know. And I could sense that about you." She continued to descend the stairs and looked at Jenna as she asked about her welfare. "I am fine thank you for asking though." She listened as she replied to her comment about the house and she had a reply that Emerald could not believe. She watched as the house was repaired with the wave of her hand. Maybe Emerald should take lessons from this lovely lady Jenna.

"Thank you my parents won't leave me a note telling me how much trouble I am in." She smiled. Looking at how the place was fixed someone walked through the repaired door. She listened as an older lady walked over and hugged Jenna and watched as the parents presumably came to retrieve Andrew. "Yes very lovely to meet you Andrew thank you for the help again." She watched as they left and the elderly lady came towards Jenna and Emerald.

"Yes I am the witch." She wondered if the lady was going to be mad but things changed oddly and she was quite happy they had. "Nice to meet you Elizabeth I am Emerald Lane. I was just telling Jenna I was very happy that she helped me in my situation." She listened as they spoke about things she hadn't heard of before. "Well why don't you come to the kitchen and I can get you some tea and cookies.

Betty let out a laugh when Emerald offered her some cookies. "I knew my magic made me look young, but I didn't think I looked like a child." She managed to say with laughter lacing the statement. "Thank you, but I shan't I have no doubt in my mind the Pentaghasts are waiting for me at their mansion. I will leave the two of you, Jenna will protect you until your family arrives." Betty continued to chuckle as she walked out the door.

"I don't drink tea, but I'll take a cookie or two." Jenna said with a smile. "You have a very odd manner of speaking." Jenna pointed out as she followed Emerald into the kitchen. "I'm sorry, but you just... don't seem like a normal teenager. Are you a possessor?" Jenna asked, the manner of speak did seem as if it was from a number of centuries ago but the body was certainly that of a 17 year old girl, one of the few explanations for it would be a possessor, a human who let a spirit possess them.

"Okay well it was lovely meeting you Mrs. Beauchamp." She said in response to the way she was talking before. She smiled and began to walk with Jenna to the kitchen. She pointed her hand towards the table near a window to show some more trees that surrounded Emerald's house. "I can get you something else. I just thought your .... grandmother? Might like some tea." She smiled and walked to the counter pulling a hand crafted pottery bowl full of chocolate chip cookies she had baked. "Do you like chocolate chip cookies?" She asked while putting them out on the table.

She listened as she spoke about her speaking. Emerald laughed happily and smiled at Jenna. "Thank you." She said realizing that she still had more to that conversation. She listened and wondered what a possessor could be but then again these days she didn't know half of what was going on. She listened and sat down at the table beside Jenna and began to spoke. "It's a long story have some time?" She asked wondering what the beautiful girl would say?

Jenna took a seat at the table that Emerald pointed to and chuckled as Emerald didn't know what Betty was to Jenna.
"Yeah, Betty's my gran." She leant over the table and whispered as if there was someone nosy listening in on the conversation. "It's the magic, she's actually in her 60s." Jenna looked at Emerald with a playful look. "No, I'm the only person in the entire world who doesn't like chocolate chip cookies." She teased before lifting one. "Thanks."

Jenna lent back in her chair and looked around. "I'm pretty sure I have time." Jenna smiled to Emerald as she began the long story.

{That gif if too perfect for the cookie situation!}

Emerald smiled at her when she leaned in and wisphered something. It was odd because no one besides her really had ever been in this house so there wasn't going to be anyone listening in. She smiled and looked at her for a moment and took a cookie for herself taking a bite out of it. "WOW thats good looking for her 60's." She smiled and listened as she teased about not liking cookies.

"Well I don't know why but my mother and father were never around for as long as i can remember i never met my parents face-to-face I only know them through some notes they leave but I am always all alone. So I had to raise myself. I learned to talk and write through tv and then I was left a manual how to work the computer when I was 6 and I learned everything else from the internet i leave notes to my parents about getting involved on an online school. I have never really been in town everything I have and need is in this house. And your the first person and your grandmother and that vampire girl and her brother they were all the first people I ever really dealt with." She sighed and looked at her wondering what her reaction would be.

Jenna listened as Emerald described her story, her eyebrows were knotted and her eyes weren't even looking at Emerald, they scanned over the table as if she was looking for something. "You've never interacted with your parents? Jenna asked, more than a little concerned, it didn't seem normal, they could have been demons trying to steal her power and hiding as her parents. "How did you realise you were a witch then?"

Jenna's phone buzzed and the screen lit up, showing the name Andrew and the message he'd sent, but Jenna simply locked the screen. "Sorry." She apologised as she put the phone into her coat pocket. "Well, Andrew and I are very nice people. Louisa has her moments, but when she feeds, she succumbs to the frenzy." Jenna said with a sad smile, Louisa was nice but she was a victim of her nature.

Emerald looked at her there was nothing else to say she seemed shocked but hey Emerald thought it was weird too. "No not like normal people." She sighed and offered another cookie to Jenna. She thought that it was odd herself. "I found I was a witch when I was really mad at the tv it wasn't working with the remote and then the channel changed and then I noticed other odd things happened when I thought about it or worked on it. Plus my grandmother had left some book with spells I guess I flipped through it finally once everything was happening odd. I never told anyone about it and when I read about all the notes my grandmother made on the different species. I then did a cloaking spell I didn't want to have any problems."

She listened about what Jenna talked about. "Its alright I understand vampires can't help it it's their nature. I've watched a lot of tv." She smiled and listened to Jenna.
