Thunder the Speedster

"Me, a hero? Nah, more like just some loser who can kick butt."

239 views · last seen in Earth
a character in “Abaddon”, as played by The Great Thundorz

Description

Stands at roughly six feet two inches, having spiky medium dark brown hair, brown eyes, tanned skin and a sort of skinny look while also having some build to his body. An unusual trait about him is that at the age of seventeen, most of his body hair is not there, the only exception to this being the hair on his head and his eyebrows.

Personality

Is seen as being sort of laid-back, carefree, calm, and makes smart remarks at times. When he gets serious, he is cold, protective, and determined to his goals.

Equipment

For the time being, he only has three sets of clothing, a suitcase, a blanket, pillow, and a pair of sunglasses.

History

Being born into America, Thunder's real name is for the time being unknown, for he refuses to be called by his real name. Having survived the injections as a baby, he was taken away from his family as a child at only seven years old, already showing signs of unusual speed. Being classified under the Super-Speed category, his power looks pretty basic for the most part, however he feels strange whenever he uses it. He was treated like any other experiment there: Like he was being trained for the military. Being let free at the age of eleven, he paired up with a group that decided to defect from Abaddon and has since been with them, travelling around America. His role is to keep everyone's spirits up, also serving at times as a guide, being able to travel very fast from one place to the next. He can also be seen as a bodyguard at times, and his goal of becoming the fastest man in the world helps guide him through the hard times they all go through.

So begins...

* ~ Previously, during the night... The time was 1:23 A.M. ~ *

- He ran, for some reason his feet kept telling him to just plain out run, and he trusted this feeling with his life, speeding past building after building as he searched for the entrance, although he couldn't make out that much besides the street lights, he knew he was late and had to make it back in time. Plus he had been a little reckless, as he could tell behind him, the two speeding cars gave chase as they tried to track him down. "Jeez, you think they would show me some more respect..." He spoke quietly to himself as he turned a corner, shortly hearing the two cars make it as they were slowly advancing, hoping to catch him. His heart quickened as he kept away from the lights they made, the sounds of the car's horns blasting out for all to move out of the way or be ruined. "All I wanted was to buy some lovely popcorn, and they go and tell me I'm two bucks short! Well, guess it looks like I'm going to sleep hungry again tonight!" He continued running down the street, searching for a sign, looking for a little sign of hope that would get him out of this trouble. Then he noticed it, a small little opening in the trees, a smirk grew on his face as he quickly increased his speed, the blue lines now appearing visible on his legs, as he made himself a blue blur for three seconds, before dashing into said opening and vanishing from the speeding cars line of sight. Continuing on the road, the drivers were baffled by where the sudden blur had gone, followed by angry shouting from the back of the lead car. Although he didn't know any of this, he felt satisfied for some reason. -

* ~ Morning, the time is 8:23 A.M. ~ *

~ He awoke with a headache and a growl from his stomach as he groaned a bit and put his arms over his stomach, looking around silently as he grabbed one of the three apples near his bed and took a big bite out of it, followed by two more as he smiled and put it back down by the other two, sitting up and stretching his arms up, he yawned out loudly as he got up after this and quickly used the bathroom. He took a shower as always, which lasted for six minutes with two of those minutes for him to spare. Then he brushed, which took about three minutes with 1.25 minutes to spare. Then he dried off, got into a t-shirt, some jeans, and finished his apple, taking about five minutes, with 2.8 minutes to spare. After making sure his hair didn't look like a mess, he exited his room and sighed out. "Why do I feel like someone's going to yell at me today...? I probably got on the news again or something, but who takes the time this early to notice, everyone's most likely asleep~" With this reassured confidence, he began to head down to get himself a large breakfast. The hideout was an old abandoned mansion somewhere in the woods, and while not perfect, it provided them with probably the best they had lived so far. How long would this peace last though, was the question they all had to ask themselves. ~

Throwing a look that appeared casual over her shoulder, Namie felt rather than saw her hand slip through the man's coat, a small red glow surrounding it. She felt the rather large wallet, gripped it, and phased it right through the coat and into her own pocket. The man remained unaware that he walked beside a pickpocket. Hiding her grin with her hand, she straightened her tan beret and split off the sidewalk and into an alley, the beginning of a network of sidestreets and shortcuts. She stuffed her hands into the pockets of her beige shorts and whistled an upbeat tune. Her victim would most likely realize his wallet was missing in about an hour or two, give or take, if he didn't enter any shops or such. Namie stopped her whistling to give a half-smile of triumph. Sucker. Nothing like an early morning treasure hunt.

Namie decided not to examine the contents of her bounty until she reached the hideout. She slinked about the alleyways, careful to watch where she stepped. A man stepped out of the darkness. A knife flashed. Namie phased right through the guy, taking a few seconds to adjust, turned around and met the guy's face with a roundhouse kick. He dropped, out cold. Another sucker. "That's a two-fer," she laughed and strode off.

Reemerging near the train station, Namie restarted her whistling and looked around a couple times. Then, she turned on her heels, rubbing the leather wallet with her thumb. Wow, she was in a good mood this morning. About fifteen minutes later, she was in a thinned out section of the city. Pretty soon, she could see the trees. She slipped off the sidewalk and into the woods, following discreet landmarks she'd memorized. Namie started jogging. Minutes later, she found herself in front of the looming mansion. Their home.

Upon entering, she saw her companion in the kitchen, fixing himself quite a large meal. She hopped onto the counter and opened the wallet, pleased to see a few hundred dollar bills in there, along with a few credit cards. The guy had been well off. What luck. She dropped the bills on the table and greeted her friend. "Yo."

A frantic scribbling echoed around the dark room, a eerie blue-green glow emanates from the corner that the sound is based in. A raspy, voice seems to chuckle as the scratching of pencil on paper ceases. A moment of utter silence. Two. Then the blue-green glow fades to black. Not more than a second later, a yellow glow fades into view across the room, accompanied by a deep chortle. The yellow glow's voice speaks. "Yes yes Thane, this is quite good. Let us see here." The yellow glow seems to split into two, the second half copying the first glow's blue-green hue. "Yes Marcel isn't it glorious? After all these years," Thane says to the yellow. "After all this time, finally more are coming back. Abbadon is up to it's old tricks isn't it?" However, the yellow glow, Marcel, has disappeared. Three of Thane's mask eyes focus on the small scrap of paper, the other half focusing on anything they can. A faint yellow glow hovers in some of the eyes. "Yes Marcel, sleep. Soon you won't be the only one who can speak with me. No no, the others will come." A dim light blinks on overhead, casting shadows all across the room. On the paper in The Lich's hand are names and the word 'Abbadon'. Scattered around the room are more slips of paper, identical to this one, with hundreds of names crossed out. "Yes yes, and these tender little children, well they'll be what Marcel needs to help us for a few more decades." The Lich sinks into the shadow as the list flutters to the ground. "Mister Karol, Miss Sekruez, Miss Hathaway, and this boy who calls himself 'Thunder'," His voice whispers as the last bit of his head disappears into darkness. "They'll be just fine." The shadows warp and twist themselves onto the point where The Lich was levitating, making a sort of vortex. Spinning first up and obliterating the slowly swinging light-bulb then down into the earth, the last traces of The Lich in this room faded alongside a dark and sinister laugh.

~ He had concentrated on making half of the table full with just food for him, for some reason he knew he wasn't going to get that far as he wiped his forehead with his arm and let out a tired sigh as he walked back into the kitchen to prepare some more food when he heard someone sitting on the counter and putting down a few bills. When he looked over, he found himself looking at Namie, although he had no idea where she had been, he hoped she hadn't known what he had done last night. Time was running out, and he needed to eat fast, but then again he always did feel like a brother in the group, so why would he go and hide? If there was someone who had a problem with what he did, they should tell him, and he would be terrified most likely. "...What did you do?" He asked her, assuming she had stolen as he knew she had been known to do it several occasions when she first joined, after she got comfortable in the group, that is. "Don't tell me you stole again, oh, you know how I hate it when you do that! Do you realize what you just did to that person's life?! I mean, I'm not saying we're a group of heroes mind you, but we are also not suppose to look like villains! If people started to assume we were out to get them, they would be terrified of us! Just..." He took a moment to calm himself, he knew everyone must be starting to wake up by now, and he couldn't keep himself or his food waiting. "....What did you do...?" ~

*** Meanwhile, in a dark room, the two men stared at monitors of some of Abaddon's elite soldiers being trained, they saluted like soldiers, they marched like real soldiers, they carried firearms like soldiers, but they had something a little different, enhanced armor. "Sir, I do believe with all do respect towards our elite group, why we are allowing this fool to try to kill one of the people we are trying to take?" The man in the chair simply patted his cigarette with a finger, letting it's ashes fall into the ash tray, before putting it back in his mouth for another intake. When he pulled it away, a lot of smoke would emit from his nostrils and mouth, his form becoming a bit wispy before returning to a physical like state. "Because this is a test of survival of the fittest, mind you. Abaddon's forces are meant to be trained in the ways of the strong, if they cannot handle a real life and death situation, there is no just in the world. I want them to be ready physically and mentally, if they die, then we find another group. However, we have only one chance to see if this group will be the one we have been looking for. Now then, tell me about the boy who recently escaped from my clutches...? The one who's name they forbid to say to even my face." ***

Rose was outside. She had woken before the sun and wanted to go out fro a walk. Nightmares took over her night these days. Almost every night The thoughts and sound. Images that didn't belong to her. She hopped over a fallen tree. the grass was still wet from the morning dew. The forest was quite in the morning and her mind was silent. She liked the calm. it wasn't something she got to see often. She took a deep breath and sighed. She moved slowly towards a house. It was an old victorian style. Quite nice for what they had seen in the past. You couldn't see it from the road and the drive was now over grown with grass and trees so it was safe. Well as far as safe went for them. She had been on the run for a while now but had only recently join with the others. She was so use to being on her own. It was still a little hard for her to adjust but she thought she was doing quite well. She started towards the house when she stopped. She wasn't far from the house but she could feel 1 more person then she should have. She got low and into the grass. she was completely silent when she got in view of the house. She scanned the area and saw no one. But she could feel someone. She closed her eyes and pushed her mind. That was when she felt him. Laying in the grass under cover. She was behind him. Thunder and Namie were in the house just beyond. They didn't know he was there. She pushed her thoughts into his mind. It was a far distance but focusing on one person was easy.

"I see you." She pushed the word into his head.

She needed to get closer. It was a strained distance for her. She go closer staying silent now. She needed to get them out. But how? She could yell? No they would just run out the front door. She looked around. Nothing that would help her in a fight. She then knew what she had to do. She pulled any thoughts from the mans mind of hearing any sounds behind him. It as starting to give her a head ache now. She needed to move quickly. She then ran and jumped onto the man making more noise then she wanted to. She tried to get the gun she saw out of his hands and managed to have it tossed a few yards away. She then pushed as hard as she could to the others. Trying to make sure everyone in the house could get her message.

"RUN NOW! BACK NOT FRONT!" She pushed feeling her head pound instantly and her eye sight go a little fuzzy.

~ His heart sank as something entered into his mind, his head began to feel like it was being overloaded at the moment as he gritted his teeth furiously now. He quickly rushed out, leaving the food he had taken so long to prepare for, and his eyes quickly wandered. Behind him he knew he could hear two figures beginning to take action. No, no! He thought to himself. I can't let them kill anyone, not today of all days! With that he slammed his hands quickly on the ground and, the blue lines erupting up his legs, he dashed off like a speeding bullet towards where the struggling came from. His instincts came in to attack, but he knew better then to go for a kill, his heart would never allow him to do such a horrible thing. Upon seeing the two struggling, his worst fears began to erupt when he saw the pistol being aimed, and suddenly his wrath blinded him. Speeding around like he was turning a corner, he shot himself forward again and outstretched his leg as he approached the man with the pistol. Aiming to knock his left leg out as he passed, Thunder's speed was out of control now as either way, his body would be sent flying into a tree as he felt his leg collide with it, yelling out in pain as he held it close to him, rocking back and forth as his eyes were closed tightly. He felt himself begin to sweat now also, he was tired from having ran all the way here with super speed, but he still had to fight, somehow, he had to try! ~

## The two figures Thunder had heard emerged out of the Mansion shortly after he left, both of them were intimidating in appearance. One stood at a height of six feet five inches, his white t-shirt revealed the muscles that had grown over the years, but he was no body-builder, but for a young man at only twenty-one years old, it was still impressive. The other stood at a height of five feet nine inches, unlike the other who only wore a t-shirt and shorts, he wore a pair of jeans and a nice button-shirt on the top. He also wore a hat on his head, while the taller one wore sunglasses over his eyes. They both looked in the direction Thunder had gone off in, assuming the worst: Abaddon had found them. "Shall I dispose of him now with his own weapons?" The shorter one spoke, adjusting his hat to keep the sun out of his eyes while the one with sunglasses began to walk. "If you get close enough to him Darren, yes. I am allowing everyone a kill the enemy on sight objective. No mercy towards our enemy." He spoke, shortly afterword Darren rushed over to be by the taller one's side. "Very well, Ben, and what will you do if you find him?" Darren asked him, as Ben slowed down his pace a bit to let Darren go ahead. "I'll crush his head with my bare hands!" With those words spoken, Darren quickly raced off towards the scene, leaving Ben to wander and think. Thunder was right about one thing, neither were afraid to kill loyal dogs of Abaddon. ##

Seemlessly flipping over the speeding man, something that he was expecting to fight a runner a fast one at that. If Vincent's eyes weren't so powerful he would have his leg broken in 20 different places from the sheer speed of impact. Watching the man fling himself into the tree holding his injured leg close to him, the pain of the impact was written across his face. The uncontrollable speeds brought more pain to the man rather than Vincent shooting him, but he couldn't take any chances sighing as he kept his vision on the downed girl. Walking toward the gun that she knocked out of his hand picking that one up while keeping his pistol aimed at the girl, "God you people make things so easy, I was sent to kill Sekruez and I get two other traitors how...HOW DARE YOU." Vincent's calmness faded and the other side took over, with a laugh a dark twisted one. Spinning his pistols in a sinister way firing 9 bullets toward the downed speedster, "Move out of the way from that."

Vincent's hands trembled, as he held the pistol towards the girl peering past her as another made his way toward the group. This is something completely unexpected, the hate was written across the face of the one who was advancing. This forest would be come a deadly battle ground, but Vincent could careless only the killing interested him. Lifting his pistol as he walked past the girl firing at the man sprinting their way, "This forest will be your resting place..." Vincent's voice was changed distorted, evil echoed as he spoke the drive to kill was to much the feeling of washing away life entered his brain almost clouding his thoughts with every step.

"What is this pain...this glorious feeling of ending life...why is my mind twisted...thinking is so difficult...but releasing this anguish means more...Kill...Kill...Kill everything" Vincent's mind was twisted and in pain but he didn't know why would this happen now why would he lose control of himself the side of death was calling out to him. It had already taken control everything around him needed to die in a bloody mess. Trying to refocus Vincent backs away stumbling back while holding the guns up laughing crazed before trying to stand again.

Namie froze. "...I was sent to kill Sekruez..." Had she heard right? Then again, how could she mishear her own last name? She took in the scene. Rose and Thunder were engaged in combat with an armed man. The dude looked seriously psycho. She shivered. She was not in the mood for psychos.

A thought occured to her. If he was after me in the first place, maybe I can lead him away... She didn't allow herself time to consider all the things that could possible go wrong. Namie sized up the guy. His back was to her. Goodie. She swiftly hauled herself up into a tree. Standing up on a sturdy branch, she called out to the assailant. "'Ay!" she yelled. "Namie Sekruez is right here and ready to beat yer ass, ya damn psycho!"

Alex was closer to the shots then he exspected. He crouched down moving towards the shots. When he got close enough to house to see Vincent, he knew that it was not going to be an easy fight. "Well I guess i'll wait. No one knows i'm here yet." He said as Thunder rushed passed him hitting a tree. "What the?!" he whispered as he jumpped out of the way and quickly pulled out his dagger. Alex walked over to Thunder. When standing over Thunder he heard more gun shots. He quickly through Thunder out of the way and he himself ran out of the way. "Hide speedy. Vincent will not let anyone get out of here alive..." he said as he dropped his backpack off then running out into the open. He ran out into the open. "Namie get in the house. He has hawk eyes and good reflexes." he said as he ran for the house. "Those are his powers." said as he got closer.

Rose Felt the man throw her to the ground and pull the gun and point it at her. Her adrenaline began to pump through her. Her vision was still a little blurry bust she saw Thunder go through the trees. The man but down the gun and walked away from her towards someone behind her. Two men came from around the house. She could tell something was wrong with the man with the gun he seemed to loose it. Rose got up quickly and moved towards Thunder. She could hear Namie yelling from a tree. She tried to wave her down quickly. She saw another boy Alex. Her eyes were now starting to clear he seemed to be on there side.

"We need to get out of here! They guy with the gun has gone crazy. He can distract them while we make a break for it!" She said hoping Namie had seen her.

(Alright, let's try to go by the order from here on. The order, as far as I know at the time, will be Me, Beach, Black, Aira, Reaper, Sword. I want to quickly thank everyone for adapting to this and I hope we can grow stronger with this)

~ Thunder felt so useless right now that he fought against the pain in his leg, trying to shake it off as he shook his head desperately at this. This maniac could kill any of his friends at any time, and he didn't want to see it, not again. "I -- I'm fine!" He cried out, trying to sound like he wasn't in pain, as he fought back against crying out in pain. "J -- Just let it cool down, please! I can still fight!" But his words seemed futile against the man he saw enter the scene alone, Darren. "P - PLEASE! DON'T TAKE ME AWAY! I HAVE TO STOP THIS!" But even he found his own words sounded false, he closed his eyes tightly as he kept a hold of his leg, not wanting to see any of them get hurt at what was to come next. ~

## Darren wasn't no fool, he knew what to do, he knew bullets were so yesterday, super powers were the way to go from here. Quickly evading the bullets by moving to his right, he felt one pierce past his left cheek as when he stopped himself, he saw a cut had been made. He didn't like that, no one did that to him. "You BRAT!" He shouted, stretching out his right arm at him, as he began to send electromagnetic waves to disrupt anything electrical on him. "How about I kill you by making a phone on you go haywire? Or how about I make that pretty little Ipod of yours make you bleed? Do you have a suit on you, hmm? One of those pathetic little toys that Abaddon's elite soldiers wear to enhance their abilities? You make me laugh! You aren't cool, you aren't hip, you are yesterday's trash! And trust me, you don't want to mess with me, kid! I'LL KILL YOU! I'LL SEND YOU BACK TO MOMMY CRYING FOR HER TO GIVE BIRTH TO YOU AGAIN!" ##

~ Thunder struggled to get up, what was Ben thinking, letting Darren handle this?! Darren was a murderer at heart, he had always seen that from his actions and how he always placed himself above everyone else. He had to stop this, even if the man was a dog of Abaddon. Yet people were talking of escaping?! He couldn't run, yet he also couldn't move that much, for he could only get on his good knee for now. "I -- I can still stop him! Just let me cool my leg off, please!" He cried out in desperation, his heart sank with every minute this went on. The cars they had gotten to the mansion with were safely hidden - a few miles away. Even then, Darren's actions might end up destroying them if he got too close. They had finally found a good home, a place to relax after days of on the road, and here this man was, ruining it! On top of that, there was Darren! "JUST LET ME FIX THIS SOMEHOW! PLEASE!!!" ~

"You...you're...The Abaddon Assassin." Vincent spoke laughing in a high pitched voice, pointing to his nano suit and laughing again louder than before gripping his guns tightly "This is a newer model made just for YOU! ah to think I get to fight you... blood will be shed and it will be yours!" Vincent screamed as he readied himself, the wave of energy disrupted some of the suits functions but overall it came out in tact kicking off of the tree shooting five bullets from each of his weapons reloading as he drew himself closer to his enemy. "You get a free pass today Sekruez. Leave only I get to kill you..." Vincent said jumping over the man and into the trees firing 7 more shots at him, attempting to relax and hone in his reflexes in case he would be forced to go toe-to-toe with this one.

Vincent himself had never encountered the Assassin, but only stories about his overly brutal and distrutive nature members of Abaddon feared this man. But the other side of Vincent craved his blood to be spilled, he knew that the Assassin was just another rouge member who needed to be finished off quickly. The calmer side of Vincent also wanted him dead but only because it was his job, he held no attachment and with Sekruez escaping Vincent would fail his first mission in years. The full extent of the Assassins power was unknown to Vincent he had no idea exactly what he could do, but Vincent's nano suit was created to make up of the lack of his natural defenses and nearly all bases were covered. He was killable just well protected, he was hunting his on kind, Vincent needed protection.

"JUST LET ME FIX THIS SOMEHOW! PLEASE!!!" Thunders voice rang out. "No...help...its not coming" Vincent spoke slowly standing on the branch aiming at the Assassin.

Rose got to Thunder. He was holding his leg. Rose could tell that he was in pain. but he said it was fine. She helped him up wrapping his arm around her shoulder. She motioned for Namie to come down. This was their chance. While nut job went off the deep end with his gun they could have a chance a getting away but they needed to move.

"Let's get out of here! I'm sure more will be on there way. They travel like wolves!" She yelled starting to lad thunder deeper into the woods hoping Namie was behind them. She wondered where the other boy had gone. he had ran towards the house. She hoped he would follow as well but they needed to leave now!

I'm Alex and the guy up into the tree. That was my old squad mate Vincent..." he said with a smile. Alex's left arm started to glow as he punched forward sending a spiral of black flames towards Vincent. "Dennis, i'll handle Vincent if you handle the others." He said lowering his arm. "Vincent, I hope that nanosuit is fire proof!" he said as he rubbed his left arm.

~ Thunder tried so hard, but he couldn't now. His head was pounding, his heart beating so fast, but now it seemed he could do nothing but wait. He closed his eyes tightly as he felt them moving away from the scene, his heart just didn't feel right for some reason now. "T-thanks..." He managed to get out, opening his eyes to look around as he wondered how they intended to get out of there. "A-are we going to walk the whole way...?" He asked out of concern this time, seeming to try to get a grip on himself as he thought over what was happening. He resented how they were forced to leave, how Abaddon's agents always got their way. He needed to find a way to stop it, somehow, he knew he could do what was thought to be impossible for years now. Just how he was going to do it was the hard part. ~

## Darren was pissed off now, first some idiot tried shooting at him, and to top it off, another idiot had just joined the scene by getting his name wrong! Moving out of the way of gunfire, he listened as he explained about some idiotic relationship the two use to have, it made him want to stab his eyes out, but it also gained an advantage on his end too. The idiot had just told them they're first names, and since he knew what they both looked like and what they could do, it would be easy to track down they're personal Abaddon records now. "It's Darren, ya deaf fool, and you expect me to leave or something?! Ha, like you have the authority to order ME around!" At this, Ben emerges as he looks around to get a look at Alex and Vincent before returning his gaze to Darren. "We're leaving, now." Ben said simply, as Darren couldn't understand what was going on. "Eh?! You all don't see the brilliance in this situation, do you?!" Ben rose a brow at Darren, as if he needed to ask. "I heard cars approaching this way, somehow they've been able to track the dog here." Darren's brows rose up, but then quickly lowered as he let out a sigh in defeat. "Fine, let's go... Good luck, kiddo! You'll need it!" With that, Darren sprinted off, Ben following close behind as he would keep close to Darren, in case the crazy shooter thought of trying anything. He would quickly learn, if he tried, that it wouldn't be as easy as he thought it would be. ##

### "So it seems we've located them again, commander. Orders to send in the troops?" His right hand man would ask, the commander responding with a release of smoke as his form turned a little wispy again, Commander Chase the Smoker of Abaddon elite force number five tapped some ash down into the ash tray before putting it back in his mouth and talk with it in there. "No, let them go for now. We already have seven cars on the move towards the location, and I have made sure none of the four soldiers in each car have a kill on sight order. If they dare to disobey this, I'll personally have them hanged. Now, let's see how one of our former agents does against his former partner." ###

Rose pushed on. When she saw Namie turn back she almost did herself. But she kept going for Thunder's sake. When she felt Namie start to come back she was happy. She could hear Thunder say thank you to her but she was just doing what she needed to do. Keeping her friend alive. When Namie caught up to them Rose lead them to the road. They needed a car! They needed to get away from here fast.

"shh! Focus on walking alright. We are going to be fine." she said seeing Namie coming behind her with her gun belt. This could help.

"Namie we need to get a car!" Rose said as they moved closer to the road.

Alex sighed as he heard "You... traitor."He watch Vincent then fall. Then hearing. "You are alive because of me, and now you stand in the way of my mission. I thought we were brothers, I gave the order to leave you alive I regret that now."he walked alittle bit forward. "We shall always be brothers... But, for you to bring up how you saved my life, is just pitaful. I saved you just as many times as you have." he stood there talking to him hearing some of the seven cars stopping and others going off after Thunder's group." Come on than I allowed Sekruez to live... you I'm not to sure about." then saying "We have always been tied when fighting in those sparring sessions. Plus, that nanosuit does not look like it can hold up to fire very well." he looked around at the cars. "Well looks like the higher ups have little faith in you." he said smiling.

Hearing gun shots Alex quickly used his right arm's power to hit the ground making rocks shoot up with dust blocking the bullets. In the dust Alex quickly ran over to where his backpack. When he got there he quickly pulling out his gun. "Vincent! I know you don't like compitition, but how about we get rid of the peanut gallary for old time sakes!? We'll fight later alright?" he waited for a couple of minutes after saying that. Alex grabbed a box of ammo putting it in his pocket, then making a run for the house shotting at the guys that were trying by the cars shotting at him. His arm muscles twiced while shooting the first shot. When making it to the house he jumpped through the window rolling down the hallway. Alex got up running upstairs for a better vantage point and view of the area, still keeping an eye on Vincent's general area.

## Darren and Ben had discovered one of the secret cars they had used as both would enter into it, Darren staring at the other one as Ben began to start up the car. "May I destroy the other one from here? It would be quite easy to do..." Ben seemed to only glare at him as he began to drive off quickly, making action speak before words. "No, there is nothing of value in there anymore. We will have to find a way to reach the others later, for now, we must figure out where this Abaddon base is." Darren seemed to hide his anger at this, crossing his arms over his chest as he sighed out, thinking to himself then. He would need to get to a computer to find out more information about those two from before, although not recognizing them, somehow one of them had called him an Abaddon Assassin. If only either knew his real title, Darren the Magnetic, who had once been a looked up to Abaddon elite force soldier, now stuck with a rebel group. Darren needed to ponder his thoughts, perhaps soon enough, he would get the respect he deserved. ##

~ Thunder noticed that Elizabeth seemed to be moving them along with an escape plan, while Namie assisted her with getting them a car. He seemed to relax for a moment, thinking they would soon find Ben and Darren, and get a good night's rest. But then he began to hear something approaching them, as he quickly began to move him and Elizabeth faster towards the car, straining himself in the process as he could hear the familiar tires spinning against the road as the car headed towards them. It was the same car that had followed him only last night, his worst fears had come true, he may have somehow been responsible for Abaddon finding them. "I know that car... Forgive me..." He said mainly towards Elizabeth as once they had reached Namie, he quickly pushed her towards Namie, using some of his super-speed so that Namie and Elizabeth may have both been pushed towards the driver's seat door. Placing his hands down on the rear end of the car, he positioned himself as he turned his back towards Elizabeth and Namie to face the car racing towards them. Forcing the blue lines to appear on his legs, and using the car as a means of supporting his weight on his injured leg, he pushed down and jumped off the ground, quickly using his super-speed once again to this time kick the door to the car that passed by, hearing the glass shatter and some of the door bend a little from impact.
The car would quickly spin out of control as he felt himself hit the car they intended to use to escape, feeling pain shoot through his body as he gritted his teeth and closed his eyes tightly. The car he had caused to go out of control's left side soon hit a tree, scraping off most of it as the car slowly came a halt after this. Then bumps began to appear all over it as it began to be torn apart, three Abaddon soldiers wearing enhanced suits forced themselves out of the damaged car and left the four others to help themselves. The three made motions towards the car and to keep out of public eye, beginning to spread out as they prepared to stop them from escaping. Thunder's mind raced as he tried to struggle towards the door closet to him, but found his strength was fading fast now as he began to feel dizzy. "Hurry... Just go... Hurry!" He pleaded out to them, not having much choice left as he didn't seem to notice if the man who had thrown himself behind to help them out earlier was approaching or fending off for himself. ~

Rose gasped as Thunder took off to stop a car someone for them. She grit her teeth and ran after him. When thunder finally dropped she grabbed him and pulled him to the car. She opened the back door and quickly, trying to be as gentle as possible throw him in and got into the drivers seat. She motioned for Naime to get into the passenger. She kicked the bottom of the console until the wires were exposed and quickly got the car going. Without a thought she pressed down on the gas and turned sharply to the left and got onto the road. She didn't take her foot off the break.

"God damn it! Thunder are you out of your mind?!" She yelled as she swerved to get in front of a few cars.

Rose didn't exactly know where she was going but she didn't care. They needed to get out of the city and if possible out of the state.

"Namie check the car. See if there is anything that could be of use to us. and see if there is a map." She said keeping her eyes on the road. She looked back in the rear view mirrors to see if thunder was alright. He didn't look good at all.

"Well, I guess Vincent ran..." he sighed thinking of old times. "I need to get out of there though..." he looked around and then carefully walked down the stairs quietly. Trying to hear foot steps and talking, Alex scanned the area still moving around. The Abaddon squads were surrounding the house and going into room by room. Alex smiled shotting the first member he saw. The second one popped out, Alex quickly shot him aswell. He then ran over to their bodies and picking up their sub-machine guns. Other members started to come towards the gun shots. Alex started to spray the around the room killing the soldiers and taking a shot in the shoulder. "A damnit." After the fire fight he gripped his right shoulder and ran out of the house and into the forest. Alex ran over to where Thunder hit a tree and picked up his backpack still running. Swinging the backpack over his other shoulder he ran straight for the road not stopping till he hit the road. He looked both ways before seeing a car he held out his arm out. "I hope they stop..." he said as he kept his right shoulder stiff. The car that he was hailing was Darren and Ben's.

## Ben and Darren were proceeding to drive out of there when Ben had to stop when he saw Alex. Darren would growl as this happened. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! WE CAN'T STOP FOR ANYONE!" Ben glares at him as he quickly pulls down the window to look at Alex. "I'm only stopping for a few more seconds, get in now unless you want them to shoot us down!" At this, gunshots passed by as three Abaddon soldiers were racing towards them, firing off as Darren makes a flicker of his hand, one of the suits going haywire as the soldier screamed out, spinning around as he ends up shooting the other two, while they were going down, they ended up shooting him in return as they all fell wounded, Darren making sure that they didn't end up killing each other. Once Alex had gotten in, Ben would kick it into high gear as he rolled his window back up, Darren letting out a sigh as he put his face in his hands. Ben looked in the rear view mirror as he then looked back at the road before speaking. "I don't know who you are, why you are here, or what your intentions are... What I do know is, you are injured and we are stopping by at an old friend's. A healer, if you would prefer to call him that. With any luck, the rest of our group should be heading there as well, if not, then you will stick with us until further notice." Darren let out a groan in response as Ben made a quick turn, Darren hitting his head against the car as he groaned out, Ben holding back a chuckle as Darren glared at Ben. "You did that on purpose!" Ben responded only with a smirk as Darren just glared out his window at this. ##

~ Thunder felt his body get sent into the car as he felt Rose head off from the area quickly at this, feeling his body laid out on the seats as he slowly forced himself into a sitting up position, gritting his teeth as he looked at one of his legs on the other seat, one of them shaking due to having hit the tree, he didn't know how serious it was yet. The other wasn't shaking as bad, however it was bleeding due to some of the glass passing by his leg, he was lucky none of them had a chance to stick in. Leaning his back against the door he groaned out slightly before looking towards Rose. "S-sorry... It's just, I... I knew that car." He confessed again, trying to remember last night as some parts came and went. "I... Last night, I kind of... Went to the store to get some food, and then they ended up chasing me..." He put his face in his hands as he rubbed his face before pulling his hands away and laying them on his lap, sighing out as he forced himself to lay back down on the seats fully. "I'm sorry... I had to do something, I didn't want them to chase us again..." From what Thunder had seen while he was sitting up, no unusual cars were following them. They must be scanning the area, he thought to himself. For a moment he felt a pain in his heart, it was more personal then real, they had to leave such a nice place after being on the run for so long. "N-Namie... Check how much money you have, we may need it. Rose... Where's our next destination?" Closing his eyes and trying to calm his breathing after this, he focused on listening to whatever they were going to say, while also keeping himself conscious as he could only feel how painful they were, he couldn't tell how bad they actually were. ~

### Meanwhile... "Commander Chase, the mansion and the surrounding area are being investigated as we speak. What do you wish to do about the agent who was there...?" Chase placed his hands down on the desk as he stood up, grabbing the cigarette in his mouth as he pulled it away to let out smoke from his mouth before placing it back in as he began to walk, with Alex the Giant following by his side, although for his title he seemed shorter then Chase was, who stood roughly at around six feet, while Alex was at five feet seven inches. "I wish to meet him soon, yes, I wish to know more about him. If he has the time, perhaps send word for him to come over. I would also like to meet the man in charge of him, with any luck, we may be able to get them to help us." Alex rose a brow at him as he heard this. "But with your growing reputation within the Abaddon ranks, you could just order them to do what you want, right?!" Chase had been popular lately for being made a commander just a few months ago while also showing some sort of talents for Abaddon, making him placed as the commander of the fifth elite force. "No, that would be dumb Alex, you cannot learn about a man personally from just a record, you must know his personality first, then you must get into his head. Remember this Alex, for you may need to use it in the near future." Alex gulped slightly as he nodded in silence. ###

Alex now inside the car. "Do you mind pactching up my shoulder for me Darren?" he asked pulling out the first aid kit. "The bullet is still in there aswell...and I figured that with your power you could pull it out." he looked at Darren. "I'm Alex Kenis...second in comand after Vincent. The man that was after us to kill us. I was a former soldier of Abaddon. If you need to know anything else just ask." he said as he put his back to Darren and lifting his arm making it easier to wrap.

Rose smiled when she saw both the wallet and the maps. She took a fast right and kept going at her speed. She could hear the roughness ins thunders voice. He didn't sound good. Rose couldn't help but think about what she had heard in that agents mind. He had been surprised she was able to break through some type of defence they had created. And what was worse. They didn't know about her. They didn't remember her from before. It had worked.

"Naime look for a road way out of the city. Not a highway. They will have cars patrolling the highways now." Rose said taking a road she knew vaguely.

It had been over 5 years since she had gotten away from them. she had walked out the back door and ran. No one should have remembered her even being there. She not hoped the agent didn't report her back, though, she knew he would have to give a status report and in that he would say they had found a telepathy. Rose hadn't met anyone with her type of gifts. Well, at least not yet but they could have had a number of them at home base. she took the thought and kept driving. Then Thunder asked where they were headed she got an idea into her mind. She shook her head and turned a sharp left. she knew where she was going now.

"A safe place." she said simply keeping her emotions hidden.

## Darren seemed to almost glare at him as he kept putting his attention on him and not Ben, he already didn't like the guy to begin with, so why was he pushing his luck now? He thought about just leaving the poor guy to bleed, but a quick look from Ben told him otherwise, and he proceeded to get to work on the bullet. "For one, we don't need to ask you any questions. We use to be with Abaddon too you know, we know how they work... And another, stop being so friendly with me. All I want to know is why he called me by that name, or how he even knows of it." He said as he looked to where they were travelling while wrapping his arm, afterword he would sigh and close his eyes hoping to the rid of the fool. "I'm sure you know of us if you knew our real titles.. I am Ben the Steel Wall, and he is Darren the Magnetic. We are, how you would say, wanted men at this point. Don't be frightened now, we won't harm you, but I do have to wonder how Abaddon tracked us down. No one was planted on with a chip, and even if they saw one of us, it's rather odd how they came to this city of all places..." ##

~ Thunder closed his eyes as he listened to what they said, seeming to fade in and out as he tried to think, but couldn't get much out from his head. He seemed to be weakening, he didn't like it, he might need medical attention soon. No, he couldn't have that, that might slow them down. He didn't know what to do now, he seemed lost with no enemies around. Yet every day, every night, it felt like they were being observed by something or someone, Abaddon was weird like that. He remembered the time he was in there, they always seemed to be just in the middle. They never showed any caring for you, yet they also never allowed you to be killed, after all they were the future soldiers for Abaddon, or so they thought. How long had the tradition of letting your own experiments go out into the world gone for now, ten years, fifteen years, he never knew, but it was always there, a choice, an option. The founders of the group were all, in a since, once brothers, none of them related by blood. Ben was the oldest, followed by Michael the Wind, followed by Ron of Darkness, followed by Alex the Large, and then Thunder the Speedster. Ben and Thunder were the only ones now left that hadn't been taken back into Abaddon's ranks, and he always had the feeling that they would soon find one of them again. Although he loved his brothers like real family, he had to think about Rose and Namie for now, for they were the ones he had to protect in this current crisis. ~

. . . He moved silently through the base, alarms going off as they all rushed in. The base of Abaddon Elite Squad number twenty-six was under attack, there position had always been in Mississippi, and they had always done a good job of hiding, but now it was nearly all in ruins. A sinister shadow swept into one of the few remaining soldier's, a scream was heard as he suddenly collapsed, lifeless. The figure continued to move without regard for any of the lives before him, the leader backing away as he fired multiple bullets at the figure, but they all somehow missed. "S-stay away! I did nothing wrong, I have done nothing to draw you here!" He screamed out as the figure made a shadow raise, his eyes glowing yellow as the man let out one last scream before the shadow covered over the spot he was at and left nothing in his trace. The man knew this would reach all over Abaddon as he walked away, that was his intention. He would do whatever he found necessary to carry out his mission of exterminating Abaddon. Now he just needed to go back into hiding until the time was right. . .

Namie nodded, grabbed the wallet, shoved it in her pocket, and phased through the door of the sedan. Whistling, she straightened her beret as she jogged up the porch steps. A slight breeze blew stray strands of her cherry red hair that had not been tucked under her cap about her face. She brushed them behind her ear as she phased through the door of the old house.

Namie blinked upon taking in her surroundings. Old-fashioned foyer. Ornate, albeit faded, filigree decorated the trim on the walls. Not bad. She turned around to face the door, and turned the small knob that locked the wooden door. She opened it and poked her head out. "'Sall good," she called to Rose, who was helping Thunder to his feet.
