Introduction
You have been taken by an evil villain and thrown into an alternate universe.
Now, your life is ruled by cards!
The villain (called "The Dealer"), gave you a deck when you started your new life.
He told you, that you can't do anything without cards. You look at your deck and see a card labeled "SLEEP" and another labeled "BUILD HOUSE".
"There is a game every night, that is mandatory. If you want more cards, you should win these games."
HOW IT WORKS/MORE QUESTIONS ANSWERED
When you die, your cards are just left there to create fighting between people left.
People in the Alternate Universe don't know that to get back to the real world, they must "die", so they are still afraid of dying.
If you run out of cards, you have 4 hours to marry someone with cards.
The marriage is your choice, the other person doesn't have to agree.
If you divorce, you die.
You are given a love card when you marry.
When you are married different cards are unlocked, like a baby card.
The card game each night is different, and people don't know the rules, they must learn as they go.
During the game, the dealer can see your cards.
You can choose when to use eat, sleep, etc cards, but emotion cards happen randomly.
The different suits define how much affect the card has ex. diamond illness card= a cold spade illness card= cancer
CARDS
Eat=you need this to be able to eat
Sleep=you need this to fall asleep
Build House=you need this to build a shelter, which you need unless you share a house with someone
Destroy House=you need this to destroy someone's house
Plant=allows you to create a plant. Plants randomly spit cards that the owner of the plant is forced to take.
Kill Plant=allows you to kill a plant
Illness=card works randomly. Strength of illness is determined by the suit of the card.
Hate=card can make you hate someone. Not your choice when you use it.
Love=card can make you love someone. Same, not your choice.
Like=allows you to work with someone, like them, friend, ect. Your choice when and who to use it with.

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 5 authors
I concentrated hard, back in the room that magnifies my power. I was setting the force that would give the cards their effect. I felt a "snap", thats what I call it, and I knew everything was in place. Under control. It would be so fun to watch these kids. I had picked them well. They all thought that they had it under control. It would be interesting to make them realize that now, they didn't.
Everything felt so surreal. And at the same time he sort of felt like he wanted to throw up, completely groggy and senseless. He was trying to latch onto something and couldn't, trying to find some sort of sense in this state he found himself in. At the moment, it was sort of like he was just moving on his own. Kent had no control of his body, everything was just doing whatever it wanted. It was a feeling he didn't like. Feeling useless, helpless, powerless, none of those things were okay with him. Ever. Kent was the sort of person to always be in charge, and this... this wasn't him being in charge.
He took a deep breath and opened his eyes. The first thing he noticed was that he was in some sort of building. No, no, it was too small to be a building. But the only other reasonable explanation would be that he was in some sort of cage, like a stall or something. That was insane, who would put him inside a stall? He had no enemies, no one that wanted to hurt him. Quickly he searched the small room, mostly with his eyes rather than actually moving around. It seemed there was nothing, not one thing in there but himself.
"Hello?", he called out, but the only answer was the echo back of his own voice. He highly doubted anyone else could hear him. Hopefully his brother was still safe- he couldn't deal with himself if his brother had gotten hurt.
Dorian sort of liked the feeling he was getting. Which was actually quite childish of him, considering it was probably somewhat like he was being drugged. Who knew though, perhaps this was death. Though he was young, dying in his sleep seemed very unlikely. Oh well, if it had happened, it had happened. There was no reason to question fate, not like he was going to get an answer anyways. Just let it take him where it wished, right? Probably the only logical explanation he could come up with right now.
That is, until he woke in a stall. "Hm," he made the sound, causing his lips to vibrate as he reached out with long, pale fingers to touch a wall. "What is this?" Poor boy, always had a tendency to talk to himself. The whole thing didn't seem very much like death, perhaps he was still alive. But in that case, where exactly was he? Just a bit ago he was napping in the studio, right? God, he had better find his way back there soon, they still had a few songs to record and if their band was missing a guitarist, it wasn't going to go over well.
"Can someone let me out?" The words came out directed to no one in particular, he really just hoped it was a prank or something from the band. Someone was bound to walk by soon and help him out. "I really need to get back to the studio!" He called again, as if giving a reason was going to help him out of this mess.
Finally he sat, legs crossed and hands in his lap. Oh well, someone would come by and let him out sometime, no need to worry himself about it.

I let the kids out of their stalls and became invisible, so I could watch and plot. They all looked kind of confused, but of course they would. It is their first day in a new world. MY world. I had picked them specifically on their one unifying feature: their tendency to think that they could, and should, be able to control things. Now they couldn't. I'm in charge.
There was also that girl, the one who was born here. I didn't want her here, but I couldn't exactly get rid of her without raising questions. I would have to make sure she got a hate card. I began planning the game for tonight. It would be compromised of mainly bad cards, to keep the tension. Make especially the boy with the weird clothes, less,.........happy. Give him another hate card, and then a Destroy House card, possibly a kill plant card. I would give the new girl a Plant card, and make sure the boy's emotion didn't set in until the plant was grown. I would give the girl less cards, so she would rely on the plant, and then.........it would be killed. I half-smiled and chuckled to myself. Of course I wouldn't actually be "giving" anyone cards. No, I would be working under the thin veil of fair play. Ha, I wondered when they would figure out that nothing was REALLY chance. No. I didn't like chance. I wanted everything under MY control.
OOC: Gosh, the Dealer sure is a control freak! :) By the way, please post what cards you have at the end of each post now that the "game"has started.
The Dealer: MWA HA HA!!!
Me: Shut up!
His head hurtβ¦
That was the first thing that registered in his mind when he began to wake up. It wasnβt like the pain you would get from a headache or even from being hit upon the head. No this particular βhurtβ was different. It was more like he was separated from himself, like half of him wasnβt there with him. The idea of that however, was completely illogical. He raised a hand to his head and brushed his dark bangs from his eyes, which was about when he started to open them. It was apparent then, that he was not at home or anywhere else he recognized.
What the heβ
He shouldnβt over-react this was probably another kidnapping attempt that people would make to gain access to his fatherβs company. All of them had failed, so this would too. Soon he would be back at home with his games, to play in peace. Thinking of that matter he slipped a hand into his pocket to ensure that no one had taken his prized possession β¦a deck of cards.
Feeling them there he sighed in relief chuckling slightly. Didnβt people realize how dangerous he was with them? His kidnappers must be pretty dumb. He pulled the deck out of his pocket to shuffle randomly and did a double take.
Theseβ¦.were not HIS cards.
In fact the deck had a completely different look to it, than he had ever seen before. Not to mention there was some ones with odd words on it rather than numbers. βEat? Sleep?β He narrowed his eyebrows in confusion. What kind of weird kidnapper did he have? He lifted his head and looked around the area, and then his eyes went wide. There were more people besides himself and all inside pods of some kind. The most interesting thing was that everyone was looking at a deck of cards.
Was this some kind of game? Or somethingβ¦.
He had no idea but he decided to take a look at the rest of the cards anyways. Perhaps the βspecialβ cards, meant something. He flipped though the deck quickly as any card player would and held the odd ones in front of him.

It is 9:00 pm. Time for the game. I am scared, but this is mandatory. I am handed three cards, an illness card, a death card, and a kill plant card. Why is this deck so horrible? The dealer puts down a like card and smiles. He picks five cards from the deck, what?! I am next, I put down my death card. People gasp loudly. This is a rare card that only appears in few games. I pick up five cards. A like card, house card, destroy house card, plant card, hate card, and hate card. The Dealer yells "Incorrect move!" in his cold voice. He takes away my like and house cards. The next person goes and they pick four cards. That is also incorrect. This is crazy!
