A travelling priestess
Cynical and jaded with a dry wit, Eria is hard to get along with. Her aloof attitude, along with her quick and caustic wit makes her a commanding presence, despite her lack of personal skills.
Eria's jaded nature and apparent maturity and knowledge of the arcane hides an odd naivety at the workings of the world. She rarely speaks about herself, save to voice her opinion on current circumstances and events. She uses her sharp tongue like a sword, keeping others at a distance by belittling them. While she enjoys being listened to, she nonetheless prefers to take a back seat role, letting others make the decisions with her judgement and counsel.
A pacifist, Eria refuses to fight or take a life, no matter how desperate the circumstances.
She is a perceptive indicidual and some claim she is able to read ones mind like an open book. She has an uncanny way with people despite her brusque demeanour and often knows the right thing to say to get someone to act as she wishes. Some claim that she uses magic to sway minds, but Eria insists she is just good at diplomacy.
Utterly self confident she acts without hesitation, something helped by her apparently preternatural luck. Things just appear to work out well for her and she takes this for granted, appearing to act without a care for her own safety or the consequences of her actions.
Despite her worldly mannerisms Eria is a shy and modest individual with a peculiar naievety about her that suggests a life isolated from others. She can be rather stubborn and obstinate, refusing to deviate from a course of action once she has decided that it is the correct thing to do and will often argue over minor points.
The ornamental dagger at Eria's belt is mainly for show, serving as a deterrent to would-be attackers. Likewise the small pouch of money is primarily a distraction, and contains only a handful of small coins of little value.
The true item of value is the cloth sack around her shoulders, or rather its contents. The bag itself is a souvenir from a visit to the port of Anra in Kishar, and is sewn with bright coloured patterns. The bag contains the 'True Mirror' an item of great power, or so Eria claims. She refuses to divulge exactly what purpose the mirror serves. The mirror itself is a small orb of reflective metallic material that shimmers at the touch, appearing to be formed of mercury, though it is solid and holds its form without a container.
