A former prince of Kronezwall, now a wandering swordsman.
Solemn and gruff in most situations Seig displays a sociopathic disregard for others. A man of few words he prefers to let his actions talk for him, often through a grossly disproportionate act of violence. His only concern is furthering his own agenda and he will do whatever it takes, even if it means stepping over his ‘comrades’.
When in battle Seig is truly psychotic, throwing himself at even the most insurmountable foe with relish. He cares little for his own life in this state and fights only for the enjoyment of watching his prey thrash in their death throes on the end of his blade. In these instances he is totally lucid, grinning madly and laughing madly as he dismembers his foes.
A cunning tactician, Seig is far from the idiot his brutish persona might suggest and he is quick to spot the devious plans of others. He prefers however to take the simplest, and often most violent, solution to his problems and solve things through force.
Seig’s sword is not just for decoration, as evidenced by the numerous pits and chips that cover it’s surface. The design is a Kronezwall cavalry sword, a thick and heavy weapon designed to bludgeon through armour as much as to cut through flesh. Its thick diamond shaped cross section and full tang construction makes it easy to use and repair without worry of breaking the blade The weapon is roughly three foot five inches long from the pommel to the tip. It is straight edged with a gently tapering tip and fuller that makes it ideal for thrusting and chopping motions. Two thick, plain quillons protect the top of the wielder’s hand from attack while allowing for maximum manoeuvrability.
An expert swordsman, Seig is extremely skilled with the weapon and finds that it fits his fighting style perfectly as it allows him to attack relentlessly without concern. While he is a skilled fencer, Seig prefers to overwhelm the enemy with powerful strikes rather than subtle technique and he often gets lost in the battle, succumbing to a bloodlust that surpasses berserker rage into sadistic pleasure. While one may find his love of killing unpalatable they cannot argue with the results.
The son of the Kronezwall royal family, as a child Seig witnessed his parent’s death in battle. His mother, the captain of the cavalry and his father, the king were slain brutally in a border skirmish. Following the incident Seig withdrew into himself, becoming a solemn and morbid youth who rarely spoke. In public he conducted himself with the dignity befitting a prince, but in private he was utterly broken by the experience. While his elder sister took to the task of ruling the nation, Seig pursued a career in the military. He was a talented warrior and excelled with little effort.
When the Crimson Knight came to take his homeland, Seig was on the front line of the battle and fought back the tides of monstrous apparitions within the ethereal mist which enveloped the battlefield, culminating in a battle with the Crimson Knight himself. Seig found himself outmatched by his monstrously powerful foe and he was defeated soundly. However, either by design or some fluke of fate the Knight spared Seig and he awoke in the middle of the corpse strewn battlefield, born anew. The incident broke Seig’s mind and he fell into a deep madness. When the mist lifted and Seig witnessed the devastation around him his already broken mind shattered. Convinced that his survival was an omen of invincibility, he believed that it was his destiny to slay the Crimson Knight and he set off to confront his enemy. Now Seig wanders the battlefields of the world, murdering all in his path in search for the Crimson Knight.
