β€’ Fashion Sense
Ace tends to dress well. He likes look crisp and clean, and finds that dressing too casually is not only lazy, but simply bad for one's image. That's not to say that he's always walking around in dress pants and a suit jacket, but to put it simply, he puts effort into his outfits, whether that means he's wearing a collared shirt and slacks, or a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. He's aware of how image is a key role in how people perceive you, so his biggest "must" for his fashion is looking clean and put together.

β€’ Overall Attractiveness
10/10 and he'd say that without feeling an ounce of worry about sounding cocky

β€’ Written Personality
Ace Bronson is one of those people who things have always seemed to come easy to. The money, the friends, the good looks, the athletic ability… he has it all. From the outside, he seems like the kind of guy who should have nothing to complain about, and well, on the inside… he doesn’t really have anything to complain about either. He’s not one of those people who deserves an Academy Award for putting on some show about how great their life looks to the outside world, while inside, everything is falling apart. No, Ace has been privileged and blessed enough that he really is living a great life. Just because things have always been easy for him doesn’t mean that he’s perfect, though.

Physically speaking, he has nothing to complain about, but something that very few people know about Ace is that he suffers from anxiety very badly. In this case, he does do that great job of pretending that everything is perfect when he’s not. For that, he could nearly be dubbed a thespian. It’s not an anxiety that pertains to any one specific thing. He doesn’t have a problem with standing up in front of a class to give a presentation, and he’s not scared of crowded spaces or anything specific. It’s the type of anxiety that creeps up on him in the middle of the night, usually, and can literally push him to the point of feeling sick to his stomach over nothing and everything, all at once. While he’s doing things, he rarely ever feels anxiety to the point of it being crippling, but it’s once he’s alone at night, that he starts to overthink everything, silently berating himself for something minimal that occurred that day, or freaking himself out for something minor that was supposed to happen the next day. It’s a side of Ace that most people probably wouldn’t believe existed, because he really doesn’t show it around people. The Ace that most people know is the one who’s cool, calm and collected. It’s the Ace that’s always laughing and joking around in the hallway, or making out with your ex a few days after you break up, just because he knows that he can. He’s not a douchebag, per se, but he likes power and he likes feeling powerful and in control around other people, almost as a way of coping with the fact that he often feels extremely out of control with his life in his own head.

Overall, he’s a well-liked guy, who is funny, charismatic, smart, sociable, well-spoken and charming. The most frequent criticism that he receives would be that he’s cocky or is too aware that he does have a lot going for him (which he only believes is being confident), that he can be selfish or cold towards other people’s feelings, and dismissive towards people below him. What tends to surprise a lot of people, is the heart that he has when it comes to people he likes. You wouldn’t expect him to be the guy who’s so sensitive towards his own feelings and the feelings of people that he cherishes, but if he ever admits to loving you, you can bet that it’s real. He doesn’t do it often, as he knows his friends who grill him for being β€˜soft’, but Ace can be more emotional than he likes to let on. His biggest downfall, however, is the anxiety that he deals with. It causes him to overthink everything and feel guilty about everything that he’s ever done, and it has already starting pushing him towards smoking marijuana more regularly than he knows he should, and looking into prescription pills like Ambien.

Past
β€’ Hometown
He was born in Manhattan, NY, but moved to Los Angeles, CA when he was four years old.

β€’ Upbringing
The only thing that you really need to know about Ace's upbringing, is that he's one of the four grandchildren lucky enough to call Eli Broad their grandfather. Don't know who Eli is? It's not surprising, as his name doesn't resonate with many like Bill Gates, or Elon Musk or Walt Disney's would, but all that's really important to know about his grandfather's legendary career is that he's the only person to build two Fortune 500 companies in different industries (KB Home and SunAmerica) to date. Ace's mother was one of Eli's two children. No one's complaining about it, but Eli is still alive, which means that Ace's mother hasn't inherited her share of her hefty inheritance yet. It's not something she's looking forward to, though, for obvious reasons, but also because she and her husband have done well for themselves on their own. Holding a top corporate position at SunAmerica has been his mother's career path of choice, while Ace's father owns a hedge fund company based out of New York, and is a prominent stock trader on his own. To put it simply, Ace's childhood was financially comfortable.

Emotionally, it wasn't half bad either. It's worth noting that his father did, and still does, spend more of his time in New York than he does in Los Angeles, but his parents have always claimed that it works for them. That's not to say that Ace isn't convinced, with some pretty good evidence, that both of his parents have had affairs, but he does his best to pretend to act unknowing of that information. Other than that, Ace thinks of his childhood as a normal one. His mother took good care of him (and when she didn't have the time, she had nannies there to pitch in), he had an older sister to constantly annoy, and his dad was around enough to tell him that he was proud of him when he did well in school, with sports, or with girls.

Ace's only major issue throughout his life was that he's always struggled with anxiety, or he's struggled with it for at least five or six years. He's never received therapy or treatment for it, or even spoken to his parents about it because he knows his father is the type of guy who thinks that therapy and all of that is for wusses, and he's convinced his father would be disappointed in him for being so weak and emotional.

β€’ Pets
His mom has a little Yorkie named Angel.

β€’ Education
Ace is AP student who has attended Buckley since kindergarten

Present
β€’ Household
His household consists of himself and his parents right now, as his eldest sister is in New York attending Columbia University.

β€’ Pets
His mom has a little Yorkie named Angel.

β€’ Secrets
The fact that Ace Bronson, one of the most popular and perfectly-imagined students at Buckley has crippling anxiety that can literally cause him to get sick in the middle of the night is definitely a fun fact that only one or two people know about, and he plans on letting it remain that way. It's something that he's embarrassed about, especially since he has such little control over it. His recent drug use is something that he's also kept a secret from even his closest friends.

β€’ Summer Spent
Ace spent the first half of the summer interning at his father's hedge fund company in New York. After that, he spent two weeks island hopping in the Caribbean, and two weeks in Europe with his mother and sister.

β€’ Socioeconomic Status
Upper Class

β€’ Residence
1231 Lago Vista Drive in Beverly Hills, CA

β€’ Transportation
He was recently gifted a matte black Audi R8 by his grandfather, and it's safe to say that he absolutely adores it.

Future
β€’ Short Term Goals
Resolve his anxiety issues (preferably without continuing to experiment with drugs) . Graduate with good grades . Get accepted into NYU Stern Business School

β€’ Long Term Goals
Take over one of his grandfather's companies

β€’ Aspirations
He aspires to be a successful businessman, with a lot of money. Having a picture perfect family at home wouldn't hurt either.

β€’ Clubs/Sports
He plays on the tennis team in the fall and on the basketball team in the winter. He's also a member of the Varsity Club and Student Council.

β€’ What Are You Looking Forward To?

Ace's parents always went out of town this week, which made throwing the end of the semester party so easy. This week tended to coincide with his sister's last week of the semester at Columbia, so his parents enjoyed taking a week long trip to New York to coincide with that. His father always had some end-of-the-year meetings to take care of for his company that was based in Manhattan, and his mother loved catching up with old friends and doing some Christmas shopping, before they all flew back to California next Saturday. Sometimes Ace wished that he could join them, because he loved New York, but having a week home alone was definitely worth postponing his New York trip for a few weeks, until he could fit it into his schedule. His post-finals party was always easy, and a lot of fun, so it was something that he was excited for regardless.

While Ace was never the type to be meticulous about his party details, everything usually turned out to be big and fun. He had already had a bunch of his older friends buy a ton of kegs, cases of beer, and bottles of liquor for him, and they were all already set up; mostly in the yard, since his family's house had its own bar set up in its open layout outside area, but with one drink station in the kitchen as well, for those who preferred to be indoors. While he was already expecting a crazy party, in his defense, he always did his best to make sure that there was minimal damage done to the inside of his house, since waking up the next morning with a crazy hangover did not mesh well with having to freak out about how he was going to get a huge vomit stain out of his mother's insanely expensive new couch. He had went out yesterday and bought tons of mixers, cups, ping pong balls and snacks, and he had a few tables set up in the yard for beer pong and other drinking games, and he was paying a junior Animal to DJ the party. Additionally, he had already placed various orders on Grubhub from different restaurants in the area, ensuring that around eight o'clock, they would be getting deliveries of pizzas, burgers, tacos, sushi, and whatever else he had impulsively added to the orders. It all went on to his father's credit card, but Ace had already told his parents that he was hosting a "small gathering" with some of his "closest friends" to celebrate being done with finals, and that they were mostly going to pig out on food and watch movies. That would justify the thousand plus dollars worth of the Grubhub bill, and though he wasn't being entirely honest, Ace knew that his parents knew what he was really up to anyway. He was lying mostly out of respect, he justified to himself, because at least now they could act like they truly had no knowledge that their son was hosting an underage party in their home.

While this party wasn't going to be fancy or super official, Ace had invited over some of the Royals to help him get ready. Some of the girls were hanging string lights in the yard on the tree, to make the ambiance a bit prettier, and the guys were ensuring that the kegs were properly placed, while the DJ was setting up his gear. Ace, meanwhile, sat on one of the stools in his kitchen, and he watched intently as Alyssa, a prep, poured chips into a bowl on the other side of the island. He wasn't truly interested in her, but that didn't mean that he couldn't admire the view whenever it presented itself to him. Besides, she was one of the more down-to-earth A-listers that he knew, so she was always a go-to choice for helping him get ready. Until everyone else got here, Ace was opting to drink beer from the bottle. He would probably move on to drinking from the keg once people started showing up, and there was no doubt in his mind that he would end up turning to liquor before the night was over, but for now, he would be as classy as a seventeen-year-old drinking beer could be. "I love Jules, don't get me wrong," Alyssa said, as she tossed the empty bag into the trash, before returning to face Ace. "But I feel like she's not that into you. I mean, you've been trying to get her to date you for how long? Trust me, Ace-y, if a girl was into you, she would date you the second you offered. Actually, let's be real. She would be the one pushing to date you. If I had one wish for tonight, it would be that you would try to broaden your horizons. Hook up with someone else, for a change." Ace knew that Alyssa was probably right. He and Juliette hooked up pretty regularly at parties, but it was always him who was pushing for more, even if that just meant seeing her soberly and grabbing dinner or watching a movie. She seemed to have little interest in any of that, and in all honesty, that was something that was new for Ace, since he was used to being drooled over. Clearly, the chase was part of the reason that he was so insistent on winning Juliette over, but he considered now that maybe it wouldn't hurt to branch out tonight. The last time he had done so, with Camila, he definitely had nothing to complain about when it was all over, even if she swore him to secrecy over it. Still, though, it didn't keep him from sending a text to Juliette, along with some other people, after he posted a picture of him and Alyssa to Snapchat.

I'm hurt that you didn't come through to help me set up.

To: Leah

The one thing Derek could appreciate about his bedroom was the ceiling fan his parents had scrounged up to get installed about two years ago. Only the master bedroom and their grandparents' bedroom had ceiling fans initially, and considering the fact that he ran a bit hotter than normal on a regular basis and was privy to overheating at times, the addition to his room had come as a welcome reprieve that he hadn't hesitated in showing his gratitude for. Especially now. Though he could definitely say that he needed the shower after the running and stretching he had done, and especially after the day's grime had felt like it lingered even in his pores, a hot shower only served to make him feel warmer than normal, and the fan's high speed was much appreciated. The cool air kissed his fevered skin when he returned to his bedroom with just a towel slung low on his hips along with another one on his shoulders. Derek basked in it, taking the time to check his phone for the notifications and text messages he figured would be there. To no surprise at all, there were a few from classmates he followed on Instagram and Snapchat who were already at Ace's place setting up or just hanging out in their stories, and others pre-gaming for the party. The already drunken tomfoolery caused a deep chuckle to escape before he turned his attention to first texting Ace and then responding to Rhapsody. The latter made his smile just a bit brighter.

Derek didn't bother asking Luke about where he was yet. He figured he could get on that when he was on his way out of the door. He used the towel around his shoulder to catch the stray droplets of water from his head, belatedly pleased with not having to deal with his longer hair. He really didn't need to walk out of the house after a lecture from his grandmother about going out at night with his hair still slightly wet and how colds can happen in any weather, whether cold or hot. He'd never get anywhere if he had to deal with that. Derek could definitely admit that he wasn't exactly the fashion-forward sibling of the family, but he could at least dress himself, especially if the style was casually. Regardless of whatever smart comment Luke would come up with, there wasn't a moment that Derek had ever walked out of the house looking like a bum. He put in a bit of an effort, though not much, in finding a good attire for the evening, but soon enough he was lacing up his sneakers and pulling on the beanie he had found in his closet. Grabbing his keys and wallet, he shoved those into his pockets and then scooped up his fully charged phone, making sure to text Rhapsody while calling out, "Lola at lolo, ako pagpunta sa para sa gabi. Huwag maghintay para sa amin!" {Grams, Gramps, I'm headed out for the night. Don't wait up for us.}

At some point, Luke had lost Camila, Cydnee and Juliette - not that it was too much of a surprise. Royals just didn't show up to parties with Wannabes, which was fine. He wasn't salty, not at all. Plus, Aaliyah hadn't even been with them when they arrived, remarking that her niece had not been really asleep when Aaliyah had set her in her room. And considering the fact that Aaliyah never really ever, as far as Luke was concerned, didn't leave the house without checking in on the toddler, it made sense that she didn't want to leave when the girl obviously knew that she was still in the house. So, she was just going to get Malcolm to bring her after she made sure that the young girl had something on her stomach that wasn't a snack and was comfortable in her room. It didn't even occur to Lucas to even question it at the time because the tequila sunrise, combined with a shot or three - who's really counting - of the vodka Malcolm had brought, made him giddy for the night ahead of them. So, so what if the Royals promptly ditched him considering the fact that their queen wasn't present to force them to humor him? He didn't need them.

He totally did. Screw whatever his bitter tipsy side said.

Nevertheless, when it hit eight o'clock, Luke was having a pretty good time grinding against this scrumptious looking Animal. It wasn't his scrumptious, super mysterious for no damn reason but obviously in the best way Animal, sure, but Roman wasn't even his to begin with, let alone to be thinking about when he had hot, semi-sweaty male behind him. Buckley may not have been the most...open about a lot of things, especially sexuality, but house parties like these were where there really weren't no rules. You could do what you wanted with who you wanted. Granted, depending on who you were, you would probably want to keep a bit quiet if you were caught with a person far below you on the hierarchy, but again it was a party. Shit happened at a party. Not many took the time to judge at a party. And Luke was taking advantage, sucking down the contents of the wine cooler bottle like it was nothing but water. To him, it was considering it was pretty much a flavored beer and not at all as biting as something like vodka or tequila, but definitely enough alcohol to make him feel A-ok with everything. Including texting Rhapsody.

"Ok, but where do you wanna go next?" Genneya asked after stealing a handful from the fry basket on their table. By the time eight o'clock had come, she was starving, but had been in the middle of girls vs. boys skyscraper rope course race that she just had to give her all to because she would be darned if Louis thought for a second that the boys were going to win. Granted, she did love her some Chris, but he ultimately was grouped in with the rest of them and was the enemy at the time. Sadly enough, it was a tie that Genneya swore they were going to broke, but she was a part of their group that had wanted to go back to their tables and get their grub on. Her mom had rented the whole place out for the evening, leaving the lower school division to do as they pleased. So, Gigi hadn't even hesitated or felt the least bit ashamed when she grabbed three slices of the meat lover's pizza, a basket of lightly salted french fries that she totally was going to share with whomever she was sitting with - which happened to be Chris and a few other classmates - and a strawberry crush that had just been refilled.

She dipped a fry into what used to be Chris' large dollop of ketchup, but it was currently more of a puddle of tomato-y goodness that she was going to steal since their table didn't have a ketchup bottle and she didn't feel like calling to someone to bring her one or ask for the direction the one they had been using went. Besides, friends didn't let friends go without ketchup. There was a handbook and everyone needed to read it. After a few chews, she continued, "We could do the laser maze or the arcade...pretty sure I'm gonna kick your butt anyway, but I figured I'd let you decide which one you wanted to lose to me in."Grinning at her own audacity, Genneya playfully captured the straw from her cup between her lips, sucking the sweet carbonated beverage up to chase the salty fried goodness she honestly had an addiction to.

By the time that 8:30 rolled around, Juliette definitely had enough alcohol in her system to be labeled as drunk. She wasn't wasted or sloppy, reaching a point where she could barely stand up straight or was slurring her words to a point of being nearly non-verbal, but she was drunk. A happy level of drunk. A fun level of drunk. Juliette wasn't always drunk when she hooked up with Ace, but this was definitely the version of her who liked to initiate it more than the sober one. That was why at some point around eight, she found Ace and dragged him away from the beer pong tournament that he had been involved in, and somehow ended up in his bedroom with him. "That was fun," she said, a smile situated on her face as she stared up at the ceiling, taking a moment to catch her breath. It was moment's like these where it was easier to convince herself that she was stupid for not taking Ace up on his offers for a real relationship. She had firsthand proof that he was good in bed, and when she was drunk, she could convince herself that she did like him more than she truly did. When you were laying next to someone who looked as good as him, it was hard to think otherwise, in her defense.

"I didn't think I'd get to see this side of you tonight," he joked. "After you ignored me all afternoon, you know... figured you finally realized you were too good for me." Even if most of the time he could play it cool and act unbothered by Juliette acting less interested in him than he was in her, sometimes he dropped that guard. He didn't bring out full blown insecure Ace, because that was a side he preferred to keep locked away until he was alone (or occasionally, when it was too much to deal with and he had to get raw and vent to Aaliyah), but he could be a bit more humble than he normally was, with Juliette, as long as he made sure to act somewhat playful about it. Regardless of the what-ifs, he had to agree with her that that was fun, though. For him, it was more than fun. He could have brought nearly any girl at the party up to his room tonight, or any other night and it would have been fun. He liked Juliette in a way that extended past a one night stand or a friend with benefit, so for him, this wasn't just messing around with some girl. It felt more intimate and personal, which meant that he had to put in more effort to make sure that it was more than fun for her too. He needed to give her a reason to keep coming back, in hopes that one time she would realize that she wanted more than just sex too, even if that meant that he had to take a minute to catch his breath after it was all said and done too.

Juliette just laughed at that, because she didn't know what to say, really. She had ignored Ace, it wasn't like she hadn't seen his texts or anything. She just didn't think it was that serious. It wasn't like he was the only person whose texts often went unanswered by her, and since they weren't in a relationship, she didn't think that they needed to be constantly texting anyway. After another few minutes of laying next to him, she decided that she would be the first to get up. She had more in her appearance that needed to be fixed than him, so a head start would help, even if she was feeling light enough to not truly care about whether she walked out of the room looking disheveled or not. "Give me that," she said, once her pants were on and she spotted her bra on the floor near the opposite side of the bed, closest to Ace. For some reason, she now felt the need to be modest and kept one arm over her chest as she waited for him to toss the strapless bra to her. "You should probably go back downstairs, don't ya think? Make sure everyone's not tearing your house to pieces?"

Ace had no shame in watching Juliette as she pieced herself back together. He was admiring the view, but not in a sleazy way, because as everyone in their circle seemed to know, his feelings for Juliette were more genuine than the ones she returned to him. He could have stayed up there for the rest of the night with her, but her suggestion, combined with the thought of drunk high school kids ransacking his house, plus the realization that all of the delivery food he had ordered earlier was probably supposed to arrive any minute now, reluctantly had him piecing his outfit back together too. He made a quick stop in the bathroom connected to his bedroom to freshen up, but was still done before Juliette was. On his way out, he couldn't resist wrapping his arms around her waist once more, and pulling her in for a kiss. With how she was, for all he knew, she would go on to ghost him for the rest of the night, so he felt like he deserved at least another few seconds of intimacy with her, and it left a grin on his face once he pulled away. "You better find me once you get down there," he called out, shutting the bedroom door behind him as he left.

Beer pong wasn't the most pristine of activities to be partaking in, but it was also a reflection of how even kids who were raised in Beverly Hills and the surrounding areas, known for wealth, had to do more than play tennis and golf and polo, or play the harp and violin. There was a crossover between them and "normal" kids, considering that they all were just teenagers. Especially when the jocks were involved, even parties thrown by Royals like Ace could take a more frat-house spin, and though this one was fairly tame compared to parties thrown by Animals or Jocks themselves, it still wasn't something filled with activities that anyone's parents would be bragging about over dinner parties or charity events. Ari didn't think of herself as being obsessed with her reputation or her standing on the social ladder, so even if partaking in some of the more rowdy games of the party weren't considered Royal-ish (at least for a girl), it wasn't something that would ever cross her mind. She was having fun with Adrien, she was drinking, and that was all that mattered for the moment.

With the game finally coming to a close, Ari couldn't help but to hope that she got her last throw in more than before. It wasn't because she cared about winning, especially not to an extent that the two opposing Arnault siblings did, but she shared an opinion with Cydnee, that she just wanted the game to be over. She was sure that Juliette had texted her a few minutes back asking where she was, and if she hadn't, then Ari had to wonder if the girl was behaving herself or passed out drunk somewhere, since Juliette had a tendency to want all of her girl friends together when she was in her drunk and giddy mood. Either way, it was the driving force behind Ari putting a little bit of extra concentration behind her last shot, once Adrien signaled for her to go, and thankfully... it went in. She smiled proudly, and though she was sure Adrien would get the last shot in anyway, she decided that she didn't need to stick around and see the grand show he put on once he did. "I'm sorry to do this to you, babe," she said, smirking and using the moniker only playfully, "But I'm bailing, and I guess if your subbing rule really stands, then if you don't get this shot in and will it for us, then we forfeit and the girls win," she explained, as that seemed like the most logical answer. Leaving the game, now that her role had been completed, was an action that she was taking mostly for her own benefit, but she figured that it would give Juliette's twin one less reason to dislike her over, too. If anything, she was giving her and Cydnee a last shot at winning, even if it was only because of a forfeit if Adrien missed the shot, and was down a teammate.

As she made her way back towards the house, she heard a group of Animals announce that the food had arrived, and she passed by several classmates carrying boxes of pizzas and bags of other delivery food out from the kitchen, and onto the patio, apparently per Ace's direction. She passed by the blonde too, though he seemed too distracted with trying to make sure the majority of the people stayed outside of his house, rather than inside. Ari's situation was different than most, considering that she didn't live with her parents, but with her Aunt and Uncle instead, but even if they were her parents, she didn't know if she would feel comfortable having tons of wild teenagers in their house, especially when they weren't home. It seemed risky, and disrespectful almost, but then again, for all she knew, Ace's parents were well aware of what his son was doing. If nothing else, she had to at least hold a bit of gratefulness for the people like Ace who were willing to go out on a limb and throw these parties, merely for the social benefit of others.

"My three favorite girls," she said as a greeting as she spotted a trio of Royals, consisting of Aaliyah, Camila and Juliette, and approached them. There was still one pizza box left on the counter, so Ari helped herself to a slice while it was still there, stepping away from the girls abruptly for just a second to locate a paper plate. The last thing she needed was grease stains on her clothes. At a last second thought, she plated a second slice and held it out in a "no buts" manner towards Juliette. Camila didn't have a slice in her hand either, but Camila wasn't like Juliette, who, to start, had a very scary tendency of not eating when she needed to, but who also liked to drink and drink and drink, with nothing in her stomach. It never ended well, as every other one of the girls had witnessed first hand, and yet Juliette still loved doing it, and then sobbing to them the next morning about how evil every deity above was for cursing her with a wretched hangover. "What have I missed?" she asked, before her eyes roved over Camila for a second time, this time more intently, as she said, "Wait, I love that top. The fringe is such a good look. I might have to steal that from you after tonight."

As if on cue, Camila and Arizona found Juliette and Aaliyah in the kitchen only a couple of minutes after the initial two found each other. Their presence was welcomed firstly because Juliette was simply glad to have her friends all in one place, but also because her cheeks had grown red and hot from Aaliyah's teasing - something that was a pretty typical reaction to it, since Juliette was transparent in her emotions and reactions, but still something that bothered her, simply because she didn't know why she still felt embarrassed by Aaliyah, or any other girl, for that manner, playfully and jokingly flirting with her. Juliette herself was a pretty touchy-feely person. Especially when she was drinking, it wasn't uncommon for her to hug her friends and kiss them on the cheek, or insist on sitting on their laps or laying on top of them. She would verbally tell them how much she loved them too, but when she was drunk, verbal compliments were never enough, and she had to be extra with displaying her affection. When it was done in reverse, though, even to a much less dramatic extent, she didn't really know how to react to it. Maybe it represented feelings that she didn't want to confront, maybe not. She refused to think into it any deeper.

"You missed me heroically finding Aaliyah, that's what," Juliette answered Ari in a matter-of-factly manner. By now, it was clear that her initial story wasn't true, since both Ari and Camila had made it pretty obvious that neither of them had been frantically looking for Aaliyah like Juliette had claimed, but that didn't mean that she was going to abandon her typical victim role quite yet. "Shockingly alive and in one piece," she continued, before reaching out and pinching one of Aaliyah's cheeks, before letting go once she decided that she would probably get smacked for touching any longer. "But with a little bit too much of a glow in her skin for me to think that she wasn't doing something she shouldn't have been doing, instead of hanging out with me. Or us. But you guys basically abandoned me too, so mostly me. So what, or who, were you doing all this time, Queenie?" she asked, giggling to herself in a childish manner at the insinuation of Aaliyah having been off messing around with someone, which was probably ironic given that Juliette had just come from doing the same. "And don't you lie to us!" she said a beat later. "I may not notice, but Camila definitely will and she'll call you out on it!" She opted against returning to what she and Leah had been talking about a minute before, and insisting that she should have somehow known what Luke was wearing, because this conversation seemed more interesting. It seemed interesting, but it would have been even more interesting if she had a drink in her hand, and though there was some liquor in the kitchen, it wasn't the good stuff, that Juliette knew was outside. That prompted a quick text to Ace, saying: "Hiiiiiiiii. Can you bring me, Leah, Cami and Ari drinks in the kitchen? Something good, surprise me <3"

Juliette wished that she could have pretended to not see Ari holding a pizza slice towards her, but it was kind of too obvious to ignore, and trying to ignore it would have made it clear that she was purposely trying to ignore it, and make it a bigger deal than it was, so she took the slice from the girl without saying a word. Admittedly, had it been Camila or even Aaliyah offering it to her, Juliette probably would have rejected it and insisted that she would have a bite out of theirs, but that she wasn't hungry enough for her own slice. Give some excuse about how she had eaten a feast-worthy amount of food before getting to Aaliyah's house, or how coincidentally, all of the food that Ace had (which seemed to be quite a lot), were foods that absolutely made her sick to her stomach when she was drinking. Drunk Juliette was definitely inclined to eat more, and specifically, more junk food, than a sober Juliette, but the sight of a big, greasy slice of pizza still didn't make her feel entirely comfortable. "Make Cydnee fix my lips if this messes it up?" she said to Aaliyah, coincidentally more softer and less dramatic now, a typical change of tone for Juliette when she wanted something and needed to sound more sweet and innocent, as she paused with the slice an inch away from her mouth, wanting confirmation before risking ruining her makeup for the second time.

Ofc :) give me a minute

The text from Juliette requesting drinks for her and her friends came just as the last box of pizza was brought outside. Even though Ace didn't paint himself as being some crazy host, he had to make sure that there were plates and napkins, and still enough cups and alcohol to go around outside before he started to put together a plate of food for himself. He had a decent amount of alcohol in him, but he was also good at holding his liquor, so he probably barely even seemed buzz to people who he talked with. It was definitely something that he preferred, though. He thought that it was embarrassing at the least, when guys got wasted and sloppy, cursing and talking trash to anyone who looked in their direction. Ace could get to that point, as anyone probably could, but he had to be blackout drunk to get there, and normally, getting to that place required a hefty amount of tequila. Tonight he was still sticking mostly to beer, though after he had a plate full of wings and a slice of pepperoni pizza ready to eat, he made his way over to the bar. He had every intention of making a rum and coke for himself, and either a few Madras or Cosmo concoctions for the girls, per Juliette's request, when one of his fellow Royals came up to him in a bit of a panic, talking about a fight. "Fuck this," Ace groaned. He was already being a good person by throwing a party that they all knew was illegal. Why did people think it was appropriate to take his kindness for granted even more? Risking people drinking underage on your parents' property was one thing, but having to possibly deal with some lawsuit due to an assault, especially one involving underage drinking, crossed the line for him. "Make sure every single fucking one of them is kicked out. I'll be over there in a minute," he told the guy, who seemed positive in his affirmation in ensuring that it happened. Ace just hoped that it wasn't an A-lister who was involved. That would piss him off even more than it being some random stranger who probably didn't have a reason to truly respect his kindness anyway.

Because his crush on Juliette was still that strong, he really considered making the drinks himself, delivering them to her, and then going to sort out this fight situation. However, one of his good friends, Alan Tristan seemed to be enjoying acting as the bartender, and it seemed quicker to get him to do it. "Dude, make me four Madras, and a rum and coke. Juliette and her friends need them, but I'll be back in a minute to grab them. Some fucking assholes are fighting out there apparently," he said, before departing. Seconds after Ace was gone, Alan turned to another Jock, Max, who was standing behind the bar with him and said, "Well, looks like we've got a perfect use for these babies," he said, discretely pulling a small bag out of his pocket, containing two Roofies, and waving it lowly so that only the other guy could see. "Dude, you're not really gonna do that, are you? I mean, as long as I can claim one of the lucky recipients of one of those as mine for the night, my lips are sealed, but you know you're fucked if he catches you trying to fuck around with his girl, or even Aaliyah. No, actually she'll probably try to kill you if she ends up drinking that." Alan seemed aware of that, though, saying, "Trust me, I'm not looking to fuck the Queen Bee. Juliette doesn't even fucking like Bronson, we all know that. She won't give anyone else a chance to prove that to her, so this little friend of mine's gonna help me ease her into the idea of another guy being able to give her dick and more. I'm gonna stick a lime in one of the drinks, and tell Ace that one's for Aaliyah, and then either Camilla or Ari will end up with the other. You'd be lucky getting to fuck either of them, let's be real." Max seemed satisfied with that, and the two prepared the five drinks that Ace requested, not knowing that Catarina Valentine was the only person who saw them very discretely drop the pills into two of the glasses. Alan secured a lime on the rim of one of the ones that didn't contain the drug, and stuck a blue straw in one of the two that he knew had the drug in it, leaving two others unidentified, with one having a drug and the other without, since they didn't care whether Ari or Camilla got that.

Ace had barely gotten halfway towards the fight when a few of his friends met him. "Don't even worry about it, man. Just a bunch of little fags fighting Collins. It's not a big deal, we've got people tossing 'em out," the reassured him, clearly knowing that Ace wasn't enjoying his party as much as he deserved to be. The logical side of his brain didn't want to just take their word for it, but by now, he was ready to just not give a fuck and enjoy himself, so he turned back around. Though he had just had sex with Juliette, he was stressed enough now where he was ready for round two, and he hoped that bringing her drinks would make a round two possible once the party ended. "Thanks a million," he said, giving a mock salute to Alan as he returned to the bar to see the five drinks he had requested ready and waiting for him.

"The one with the straw's for Juliette, since Max heard her freaking out about her lipstick or some shit earlier, and I don't know if that's how makeup works, but I feel like straws help, and the one with the lime is for Aaliyah. She asked for one in the drink I made her earlier, so I figured it's probably her 'thing'," Alan explained, though he was completely making up that interaction with Aaliyah for the purpose of his plan. Ace didn't noticed, too wrapped up in actually wanting to enjoy himself, so he only thanked Alan once more as he placed the drinks onto a serving tray that his parents had beneath the bar counter and carried them into the kitchen. His smile grew into a natural one, no longer forced, once he spotted Juliette and the girls, especially since they all looked relaxed and happy, eating and talking. "Sorry that took a little bit longer than a minute," he said, grinning as he rounded the counter that the girls were sitting on, to kiss Juliette on the cheek and set the drinks down beside where Aaliyah was sitting. He didn't notice that at some point during the walk in, the lime had fallen from the glass that had specifically been marked to not have a roofie in it, so all he knew to do was to give Juliette the one with the straw, before handing another drugged drink to Aaliyah, and the two normal ones to Camilla and Arizona. "Apparently someone was fighting outside. The guys took care of it, but I've been all over the place," he said, exhaling. He leaned back against the counter in an attempt to relax, before realizing that his plate of food was still outside. "...And of course I forgot my food outside," he said in mild annoyance. "I'm gonna grab that, and then I better get a few minutes to hang out with my girl before she's completely wasted and incoherent," he teased as he headed back towards the door, only referencing Juliette's tendency to get very drunk, and being completely unaware of the fact of how true his reference would be, given that her drink was drugged.

Ari believed Aaliyah when she claimed that she hadn't slept with anyone tonight. She had been too distracted with Adrien and the beer pong game to be keeping tabs on anyone once the night really set in, so she had no reason to think otherwise. Beyond that, as Aaliyah said, she was pretty confident in her sensuality, so she wasn't the type who seemed like they would ever deny their sexual affairs, at least without a good reason. It was something that she appreciated about Aaliyah; the girl had a very strong sense of self. People could call her whatever they wished (though very few were bold enough to do it to her face), but it wouldn't shake her confidence. She knew who she was, and she was comfortable with it, so other people's opinions didn't seem to bother her. It always reminded Ari of the saying about how "the lion doesn't lose sleep over the opinion of sheep". Juliette being dishonest about he sexual encounters wasn't something that would surprise any of them though, probably. Aaliyah and Camila liked teasing her about it, and admittedly, Ari was usually amused watching Juliette squirm and try to defend herself, but she rarely ever partook in grilling the girl about sex. Did it have to do with the fact that Ari had a crush on her friend, that she hated, hated, and hated some more? Yeah, but like that crush, she wasn't willing to admit that. Besides, as they all seemed to know, Ari was probably the most gentle out of the group when it came to Juliette. She had a more comforting side to her, so it was usually Ari who Juliette turned to when she wanted to claim that everyone was being mean to her. Engaging in the teasing would only eliminate Ari's purpose, so, while a tight-lipped smile crept onto her face as the attention was turned to Juliette, Ari remained quiet and ate her pizza.

Ace appeared then, though, bringing drinks for all of the girls before making a quick exit once he realized that he had left food outside. Ari didn't have a drink in hand, so his arrival and departure had, at least, brought her something that she needed. She couldn't tell what the drink was just by looking at it, but a sip later, she knew that it had vodka in it, and guessed that it had cranberry and orange juice in it, or some other sort of citrus-y juice. It didn't taste bad, that was for sure, though she guessed that that was only because the vodka in it was a top-shelf brand, since it seemed to contain quite a bit of it, and had it been of any lesser quality, it probably would have been undrinkable. "I don't know any girl who wouldn't want to date a guy who kisses her on the cheek and refers to her as 'my girl', Jules," Ari said with a knowing smile, as she engaged as much as she could in that teasing without crossing into the "mean" category. Of course, she didn't want Juliette to date Ace. She was more than happy that she seemed to have no interest in him in that manner. However, she had to play along if everyone else seemed surprised by Juliette's lack of interest. Her next inquiry was definitely on the bolder side for Ari, though, as she turned to Camila after taking a large sip of her drink and said, "You're the one who's good at reading everyone. Can a girl even be considered straight after icing Ace Bronson so many times?"

Juliette's mouth definitely fell agape when Aaliyah mentioned how whatever she was doing earlier would have messed up her lips more than eating pizza would. Admittedly, she was on the verge of laughing as she began to tell both Aaliyah and Camila that they were dead to her for putting her on the spot and accusing her of something so blasphemous, when Ace came over. She had to drop the conversation for the moment, especially as he kissed her on the cheek. She didn't need him to be involved in this, since she knew that he would not only confirm that something did happen, but try to act all offended that she was denying it. She wasn't denying it because it was Ace who it happened with, because as Ari would go on to hint at, almost every girl at this party was probably attracted to Ace, or at least capable of admitting that he was nice to look at. It was just how Juliette was; she liked to paint herself as some innocent angel who could do no wrong, and nothing scandalous, even when that definitely was not the truth.

After distributing the drinks to the girls, Ace was barely there for more than thirty seconds, and his departure wasn't necessarily something that Juliette minded. She liked hanging out with Ace, but she also liked girl time, especially since she was in the mindset of wanting to believe that her girls had been neglecting her for the beginning of the night. "For the record, I'm not getting wasted tonight!" she called out after him. She didn't intend on getting wasted tonight, but then again, she never really did. The fact that she had consumed one bite of pizza before nonchalantly placing it on the counter was justification, in her mind, that she could have at least two more drinks without getting drunk, since that had to count as having food in her stomach. Then again, she didn't intend on drinking a drink with a date rape drug in it, and she definitely didn't notice or taste it as she sucked up some of the alcoholic drink once Ace was gone. The cold drink felt refreshing, actually. So much so that she actually allowed herself to smile, even as Ari joined in on "bullying" her. "I may have thanked him for having all of us over, because that's what good people do, but thanking him was all that I did," she defended herself, even if "thanked" definitely was the equivalent to sex. "And don't answer that, Cami!" she said quickly, in response to Ari's "playful" question. "We all know that Aaliyah is part lesbian and if you say anything about lesbians, she'll get offended and run off to be comforted by he who shall not be named, and I am not losing my baby again!" she said, dramatically moving from her position in the circle to wrap her arms Aaliyah who was seated on the counter top. What Juliette had said probably wouldn't make much sense to anyone who didn't know that Aaliyah frequently had to correct Juliette on her tendency to be politically incorrect, or in Juliette's version of the stories, correct her on Aaliyah's tendency to be ultra-sensitive and dramatic.

With another sip of her drink, she looked back towards Camila and Ari. "You two must be the guilty ones, accusing me and my beautiful angel, Leah, of things we haven't done," she said, though it was definitely her involved in talking about Aaliyah just a minute or two before. "If I look at your phones right now, who are you texting and when are you meeting up with him?" She looked to Aaliyah then to say, "Camila told me she wants to sleep with Nick Van Veenan. Just throwing that out there if you want to play Cupid and set that up."

"I keep telling you babe," Aaliyah stated drolly, eyeing the drink she had been given for a moment before raising an eyebrow at Juliette, a smirk curving at the corner of her mouth. "If I were actually a lesbian, you'd already be mine." Grinning, Aaliyah sucked the straw of her own drink into her mouth, drinking some of the contents of the cool drink. Considering the barely discernible, but definitely present sticky hot atmosphere of the crowded home, the drink was a relief that Aaliyah hadn't even realized that she needed until the liquid was sliding down her throat. Immediately, in satisfaction, she expelled a puff of air, relaxing back until her head was pressed back, comfortably, against one of the overhead counters. Leah didn't necessarily mean it when she teased Juliette about wanting her, but them ever hooking up - if she actually decided to make a move on her friend wouldn't necessarily surprise her once the deed was done. As it stood, Juliette was considered one of her best friends and so currently, her platonic feelings outweighed any possibility of there being more than that. Not to mention the fact that Juliette had a rather traditional outtake on sexuality, identities, and so forth. Aaliyah tossed in the occasional educational commentary, even though Juliette would be the first to say that the way Leah said it was mean, but she was pretty sure she couldn't allow the actual bulk of their relationship to be her educating her friend on what was politically correct. Aaliyah would have gray hairs and while she did have proof that black did not crack in her family, she didn't necessarily feel like testing out that hypothesis with the stress that Juliette could be. Lovable stress, perhaps, but stress nonetheless.

Going back to munching on her slice of pizza, while shooting Arizona a rather knowing glance when the girl tried to make Camila question Juliette's sexuality, Leah took a moment to ponder over the fight that had broken out. She had half the mind to go demand what had happened as she doubted that anyone had actually tweeted about it yet. With the drinks and mischief in the air, as they always were during a party that anyone threw, a lot of her classmates would declare themselves too traumatized by whatever proceedings that had taken place, but would be the first person to try to tweet about it or have a video uploaded the second the hangover seemed like it was dissipating. The thought made her roll her eyes, even as she got to the crust of her pizza. Besides, she didn't have to rush to know what had occurred. It would all appear in due time and besides, the real fun was seeing how long it took for Ari to start staring at Juliette longingly and wondering if the latter was ever going to take the time to just notice. Things would be far more interesting if Juliette just opened her eyes sometimes. She wouldn't because it was Juliette, of all people for Arizona to have some kind of interest in, but at the same time, Aaliyah wouldn't call herself cruel all of the time. Plus, she was interested in what that could become, even though the back of her mind was aware that it would come at Ace's expense, whatever the thing would be. But then Juliette was drudging up some of Camila's own secrets and Aaliyah turned to the girl a teasingly inquisitive gaze. "Oh, really now, Miss Santos?" Considering the crust of Papa Johns' pizzas were her favorite part, despite many complaints about it being too chewy or what-have-you, Leah tore at the bread with her teeth until a piece was in her mouth, chasing it down with more of her drink - unknowing of the dissolved contents - before becoming a bit more interested in this...interest of Camila's. Nicholas was definitely not anywhere near Aaliyah's type, but he was a nice guy, if what Juliette said was actually a thing. The girl was loose with her tongue when she felt cornered and even more-so when tipsy. "And why am I just hearing about this, hmm? Or is this just another one of Jules' I-feel-attacked-so-I'm-gonna-drag-everyone-down-with-me schnick?"

"Stop it, you know you look gor-geous, too!" Ari insisted when Camila complimented her and followed it with a self-depreciating comment. She purposely mimicked the way that Camila pronounced gorgeous teasingly, though she knew that the girl was probably too drunk right now to even catch on to being teased. If she was too drunk for that, she was definitely too drunk to need another drink. Make no mistake that while Ari didn't mind playing the role of the mom to her friends, she didn't like having to be the fun-police. She didn't like being the person to have to kill anyone's vibes or regulate the fun, so if Camila was only tipsy, or even if she ate a slice of pizza or two and a good amount of water, Ari wouldn't be too bothered by the idea of her having another drink after, to keep her buzz going for the night. Right now, though, she just knew it wasn't a good idea.

The level of drunk that Cami was at now was fine because she was still functioning and fun. Too much more alcohol, though, and she would cross over that thin line of being a fun drunk, to being one who was a stumbling mess. It wasn't so much that Ari didn't think she could deal with it, because she knew that she would try her best, but she knew that Camila would regret it the next morning. Cami was a poised girl who had garnered a lot of respect for herself at school. She had a reputation to uphold, and while even she was allowed to let loose with a few drinks every now and then, Ari didn't want her to get to a point where she would do anything that she would regret. "Food first, drinks later!" Ari insisted, giving a tug that was only subtly stronger than the one that Camila had exerted on her, in the opposite direction. The greasy food that was typical at parties like this wasn't the type of food Ari liked to let herself indulge in, but she had enough alcohol in her to decide that she could count tonight as a cheat day for her normally healthier diet.

Ace had returned to the kitchen as promised, after getting his food from outside, but by the time he had returned, he found that the girls had all went their separate ways. He shouldn't have been surprised that the most popular girls in school had people to socialize with and things to do, and though he did genuinely want to spend some time with them, since he was good friends with most of them, even if some more than others, but it didn't bother him too much. There were other people that he ended up talking with in the kitchen, and they provided him with enough of a distraction that he wasn't even thinking about his two good friends who were both quickly succumbing to the effects of the drugs that he had no idea were in the drinks he gave to them. They only crossed his mind when he had finished eating and returned outside with an ice cold beer in his hand, looking for some of his guy friends, and he happened to spot Ari tugging Camila towards the tables that were still pretty full of the delivery foods. "Food first, drinks later?" Ace repeated with a chuckle, not noticing immediately that Cami was considerably drunker than Ari. "Not a bad motto," he decided, and though he was tempted to playfully chide them for ditching him earlier, he found his eyes searching Camila's figure for a moment. He liked Juliette more than he could explain, but right now he definitely couldn't find it in him to regret hooking up with Camila a little while back. Hell, she was looking good enough tonight that he could see himself doing it again. "But making sure my guests are happy is what hosts do best, so want me to grab you another drink while you get some food?" he said, his eyes eventually making their way up to meet Camila's eyes. "If you're not gonna got MIA again the second I leave, that is."
