{Full Name}
Samuel Ren Kim
[Sam's mother always wanted to name him after his father Ren, but his father thought the boy should have his own name instead of a copy of his dad's.
They eventually settled on Samuel and used Ren as a middle name instead. Sam doesn't particularly love his name, but he doesn't hate it either.]

{Nicknames}
Sam Since he was just a baby, he has always been called to as Sam. Rarely if ever does anyone ever call him by his full name. He prefers it when people call him Sam rather than Samuel because he feels as if Samuel is too formal.
Sammy This nickname is used mostly by close friends and family members. It's become a common theme that when someone realizes how sweet of a boy Sam is, they begin to call him Sammy instead. It's a cute nickname and since it usually comes out of love, Sam doesn't mind being called by it either.

{Age}
sixteen (16)

{Sexuality and Romantic Interest}
Bisexual + Biromantic [openly]
Sam isn't very experienced in the love department. He has had a few crushes before, but they were fleeting moments. As far as an official relationship goes, he has never been in one. He has, however, fallen in love before. Only once. At the beginning of his freshman year, he fell hard for one of the seniors at Buckley. This boy was perfect, it seemed. He was a royal. Tall, handsome, talented in different sports and to Sam, he could do no wrong. He always payed extra attention to Sammy and went out of his way to make "his freshman" smile. Sam really and truly believed this boy cared about him. Only a month in of almost-dating, because he never officially asked Sam out, and he managed to convince Sam to sleep with him. It wasn't hard, considering the innocent freshman was head over heels. So he easily took Sam's virginity. Not even a week after, his beloved senior threw him away like a piece of garbage, going as far as ignoring his entire existence. After an early graduation on the latter's part, Sam never heard from again. It's been months, but Sam has yet to fully recover from that blow.

{Heritage}
Korean-American
Sam's great grandparents on both sides of the family came from South Korea. His grandfather on his mom's side married an american girl, and so did his grandfather on his dad's side. His family has lived in the United States since.

Sam quickly found his place with the artisans because of his creativity and ability to capture the beauty in ever little thing. While his sisters loves being in front of the camera, Sam prefers to be behind it. At his young age, he's already become known within the artisans for his beautiful photographs and his ability to capture every moment with perfection. He's also a skilled painter, though he doesn't practice as often. On times when they're stressed or just overwhelmed by life, he and sister have painting sessions. Their love for creating colorful paintings is one of the few things they have in common. And despite how much he denies it, Sam is also a very good dancer. After watching his sister dance year after year, he began to pick up on techniques without even knowing.
Sometimes she'll ask him to help her rehearse and never forgets to tell him he should join the dance team with her.

Androgyny at it's finest. That's usually how people would describe Sam's physical appearance. He can be as pretty as he can be handsome. His sister sometimes teases him by complaining about how it's not fair that he's prettier than her. His body is fit, tight abs and a nice build, but his face is soft and delicate. His features, like his skin, are soft and beautiful. Though he was born a male, and identifies as such, that doesn't stop people from mistaking him for the wrong gender. He generally doesn't mind it or takes offense to it, but some tend to use it to mock him with nicknames like "princess" or "Samantha". As much as he tries to ignore them, it only adds to his already present insecurities. Of course he would much rather be handsome instead of pretty, but that's really out of his hands.

{Style}
He may be an artist, but his wardrobe doesn't show it. He generally dresses very casual. Dark wash jeans and t-shirts, sweaters, cardigans, or button up shirts. It depends on the occasion. He doesn't like bringing unnecessary attention to himself, so he keeps his wardrobe as simple as possible.

{Height and Weight}
5'7' || 148lbs

{Hair}
Jet black and naturally straight.
He has never dyed it before nor does he intend to anytime soon.

{Eyes}
A deep, dark brown (almost black) with specks of gold around the pupil

{Distinguishing Markings}
Adorable dimples || His dimples are a clear sign of happiness.
They tend to only show when his smiles/laughs are genuine rather than forced.

{Body type}
Sam may not play sports, or spend his life dancing like hid sister, but he's still managed to get a nice body. He's adequately fit and has pretty descent abs and arms. Just enough to not look scrawny.

The very first thing anyone will notice about Samuel Kim is his innocence. Something rare in today's society, especially in boys his age. But Sam knows very little about the world. He's extremely trusting and gullible, ready to trust and believe just about anyone. He's the kind of person that looks for the good in people, even when there clearly isn't any. In that sense, he's warm and welcoming. Accepting of everything and everyone. It will be the end of the world and hell will freeze over before you find him talking bad about anyone. His open mind and open heart is what gains him many friends. Everything about Sam is genuine, right down to the tiniest smile. It's second nature for him to be selfless, always ready and willing to help someone. He's the sweetest boy you will ever come across, which can be an amazing thing. But it can also cause him harm. The thing is, not everyone that says to be his friend truly is. More often than not, people mistake his kindness for weakness and use it to their advantage. Even still, you won't hear the poor boy complain. He's much too timid and insecure for that. There's nothing he wants more than to be able to stand up for himself, but his fear of hurting other's feelings is usually what prevents him from doing so. Yes, he can be a bit of a pushoever, but he's got his own charms. He's that quiet boy that readily flushes a deep firetruck red when he's flirted with, and becomes a stuttering mess when complimented. BUt he's also an amazing friend. The kind of friend everyone needs. They say patience is a virtue and Sam has a plenty! He's soft-spoken and gentle with his words, and if you entrust him with a secret, he will take that to the grave. Generally, when someone gets to know Samuel, they can't help but to develop a soft spot for the boy. He's got that charm that, as his sister puts it, "could even make straight boys question their sexuality." Sam doesn't really agree with her.

{Greatest Strength}
His cheer: He may not show it often but Sam is a very cheerful boy. It if wasn't for that, he probably wouldn't have made it through half the things he has. Even if he isn't as outgoing or talkative as his sister, it doesn't mean he's unhappy. He's good at finding the bright side of a bad situation.

{Greatest Weakness}
Too kind: Despite being tricked and tossed in the past, Sam still tries to find the good in everyone. He hardly ever says know and is always willing to help. This is his weakness because it leads people to constantly take advantage of him.

{Priorities}
first comes his sister. Even though she's more than capable of taking care of herself, Sam would do anything for her. second are his grades. Like Jasmine, Sam is riding on a scholarship. They don't have the privilege of having parents with thousands of dollars like most students at the school do, which means they have to be extra careful about getting bad grades. and third comes his love of photography

{Past}
Samuel was born and raised in San Francisco, California. He's always been quiet and introverted from a very young age, so he wasn't too fond of the bustling cities. When the family went out he felt intimidated by the outside world.. His parents always taught him to be kind and generous to others, and that happiness depends on what you do with what life gives you. They taught this to both Jasmine and himself, and although Jazz is generally better at showing her emotions, Sam isn't a pessimist. On the contrary, he's very cheerful and optimistic given the circumstances. He lived in a nice home with his parents, their three dogs and sister Jasmine. Even though his parents taught Jasmine to always take care of him because she was the older sister, Sam felt that he should be the one protecting her since he is the brother. Unfortunately, Jasmine turned out to be much more assertive than he'll ever be. When they were toddlers, people would often mistake then for twin girls, and Jasmine would be the one to stand up for him. Despite the personality differences, they have always been inseparable. When Sam was only nine years old, his father died of cancer. This made him even more quiet and introverted than he already was, but it also brought him and Jasmine closer together.

{Present}
Currently, Sam is living in a small apartment with Jasmine, their mother and a small cat name Cheshire. Because their mother works too much, it's more the time that she's not home than the time that she is. Jasmine and Sam have had to become accustomed to almost living alone and doing everything for themselves. They usually cook their own meals, do their own laundry, and travel to and from school together. It's not difficult, especially since Sam is very responsible and mature for his age. At times it really feels like he's the oldest of the two. They're not poor by any means. Their mother works excessively to make sure of that, but Sam would much rather have less money if it meant getting to see his mother more often.

{Future}
Short Term Goals: It's a complex goal and he's not sure how he will manage, but Sam has given himself the goal of being less timid. He wants to be able to stand up for himself and what he wants. It's not okay that Jasmine always has to come to his rescue when he's in trouble, even if she swears she doesn't mind dong it. By the end of his senior year, he wants to feel like he's changed for the better. But changing a personality trait as deeply rooted as this won't be a simple walk in the park.

Long Term Goals: It may not be a big dream compared to what most of the students at Buckley want for their future, but Sam would be content with it.
He wants to open his own photography business at some point. A thing of his own that he can accommodate to his wants and likes. He wants a solid base for the business. Maybe in California, maybe somewhere else. It doesn't really matter, and he also wouldn't mind being able to travel, photographing different parts of the globe. But to open his own business, he really needs to reach his short term goal first. He lacks the assertive mindset that he knows he will need in the future.

{Grade}
10th {Sophomore}

{Lifer or Newcomer}
Kind of a newcomer. Sam started at Buckley in 8th grade. His family moved into town just a few years ago. His sister was about to start her high school years, so when his mother found that Buckley was a k-12 school, she thought it was a good idea for them to attend the same school.

{Scholarship or Not?}
Scholarship. If it weren't for Sam's grades and intelligence, he would not be a Buckley. Without a scholarship it would be impossible for his mother to pay for both him and his sister. Even now, she has to work long hours because the scholarship is not a full ride. Sam is trying to find a part time job to help pay for tuition. Maybe then he'll get to see his mom at home more.

{Group/Clique}
Artisans

{Are you happy?}
Despite the bad experiences, Sam is happy at the school. Partially because he has found a place in which he can belong, and partially because he's with his sister. her and his friends make his life at Buckley an enjoyable one.

{Clubs/Teams/Sports}
The art club was a given, from the second Sam found it he wanted to join. He's also been recognized by the NHS for his above average grades and attendance. Despite his shy nature, he does try to help out as much as he can. He's not a part of any sports teams mainly because he's not skilled at any. The only sport he's somewhat descent at is baseball, but not enough to join the team, as least not by his own standards. He's also one of Journalism'S designated photographers.

{What are you most looking forward to?}
Graduating

Jasmine's creation of Sam, Behati's outfit, Jasmine's outfit
[x],[x],[x]

    XX"Nope. No way..." Jasmine can feel a sigh emanate from the deepest part of her soul. She had already managed, with the help of Behati, to convince her younger brother to attend tonight's party. Not because she thinks he necessarily has to be there, but a little bit of unwinding is surely needed on both their parts. Aside from that, Jasmine knows for a fact that she's not the only one hoping to see him there. However, that battle has already been won and Sam has begrudgingly agreed to attend. The obstacle now is the outfit Jasmine had already picked out for him (convinced that she would by any means get him to show up).

    XXShe stands on the other side of the bedroom door, arms placed on her hips in concern, while her eyes bore holes into the closed door. "Come on Sam, just let us see" he argues as calmly and sweetly as her impulsive nature allows her to. There's a long stretch of silence and finally, much to Jasmine's relief, the wooden structure slowly opens. The sixteen year old boy steps out as if carefully calculating his every step, and a proud smile makes it's way onto Jasmine's red-tainted lips. "How do you feel?"

    XXSam resist an eyeroll with full force, moving in place a bit to make sure the black fitted pants haven't cut off all of his circulation. "Like death" he mutters, extremely tempted to run back into the comfort of his bedroom and pull on his usual sweatpants and plain black t-shirt. Jasmine doesn't fail to catch on and quickly takes his hand, leading him further away from the possibility of barricading himself in his bedroom. "Well you look amazing!" she chimes. "What's the point of having a killer body like that if you don't show it off". The comment alone in enough to make Samuel's pale cheeks tint a heavy pink, and the fact that he and his sister are not the only ones in the room isn't helping his cause. Round, pleading eyes shoot in Bea's direction, desperately hoping she'll say he looks terrible and that Jasmine should not be allowed to dress him ever again.

    XXIt had been approximately forty five minutes since Behati arrived at the Kim's residence, and already she was feeling a bit exhausted. She had gotten a call from Jasmine, on her way out, about needing help to drag Sam from his room and to the party that was about to take place soon. Now, she stood with one heel tapping impatiently, and a hand positioned on her hip.

    XXXXThey were going to be late. Sam was going to make them all late.

    XXStaring at his door, she anticipated for it to open and to see Sam clothed in whatever overdressed, outerwear his sister forced him to wear. But, he didn't and Bea can just imagine her friend on the other side passing back and forth, anxiety hitting him faster than a speeding bullet.

    XXShe felt bad. Really bad. She knew that he didn't want to go, but to some degree Bea wanted him to have one night to enjoy for the sake of memories. It was one party that he had to attend, neither Bea or Jasmine asked for anything more. Bea knew that Jasmine loved her brother tremendously, if she didn't than she wouldn't be going through any trouble dealing with Sam's stubbornness, and Bea wouldn't be there counting down the minutes until she would finally be getting her groove on.

    XXXFifteen minutes passed, and with an exasperated eye roll Bea looked to Jasmine simultaneously jerking her head towards the door as if to say, "go get your brother." Jasmine made no hesitation as Bea watched the petite girl step up to the closed door, eyes peeking through its tiny slits, "Come on Sam," she called, "just let us see."

    XXAt that, there was a click followed by an audible creak as the door swung open and out stepped Sam, careful with each step he took as if he emerged a jester waiting to be laughed at. But, there was only Jasmine and Behati's eyes who saw, and Bea found herself gaping at Sam longer than should be. Her eyes trailing from his black sneakers, noticeably buffed, to his jeans, and his silk shirt its zipper left open revealing a perfectly set of abs, sculpted in all its glory.

    XXBehati knew that Samuel was good looking, but she wasn't the one to praise him for it. His warm personality was reason to forget his physical attributes, and for Bea that was enough. They've been best friends long enough for her to forget that alongside his amiable personality there was a fitted Sam standing before her. Witnessing it brought mixed feelings to Bea uncalled for, and it wasn't long before she felt Jasmine's eyes on her including Sam who gazed up at her from the floor. His dark eyes were pleading for Bea to snap at Jasmine for dressing him, like some Ken doll. But, a part of her also wanted to hug and thank Jasmine for dressing him up, like quote on quote 'some Ken doll.'

    XXFinally, Bea managed to clear her throat, "Jasmine's right, Sammy. You look handsome." Taking a step closer to him, she tugged playfully at his shirt and added, "Are you sure I'm not the Duff in this relationship?" Referencing a well-known movie, her Hazel eyes looked up, greeting him with an honest smile.

    XXSam's dark orbs meet his best friend's for a couple of beats before falling to the wooden floor underneath his new sneakers, provided by none other than his beloved sister. "Of course not. You look beautiful..." he muttered, the pink tint on his cheeks only increasing with every passing second. But he didn't see the point in arguing anymore. It was two against one and, even if it had just been Jasmine he knows he would have ended up losing, but the fact that Bea was present to back her up only tripled the impossible. Letting a triumphant smile settle on her features, Jasmine took a step back to allow Behati to lift up Sam's courage. It most certainly was a good move to call her over. But now about an hour had passed and if they didn't get a move on they were going to be late.

    XX"Great then, let's go!" she exclaimed with a loud clap of her small hands, taking hold of her purse and car keys. "I still have to pick up Cat!" the petite blonde added in alarm upon seeing the Snapchat notification. There's no doubt in her mind they would be late now, but having been able to convince Samuel to not only join them, but to allow himself to look painfully handsome for a night, was definitely a great victory and one worth being late for. Taking a quick snap of her brother's attire without his knowledge, she quickly sent it a couple of people's way. The battle may be won, but the war isn't over and some extra back up won't hurt.

    To: Jasper, Jenna, Charlie
    MSG: Please bombard Sammy with messages and tell him he looks handsome enough to stop traffic.
    Open Attachment

    XXAfter the text had been sent on it's way, Jasmine made sure to reply to cat with a Snapchat of her own and a quick Adorably beautiful as always! We're heading over to pick you up. before strutting towards the door. Or in Sam's case, to the point of no return. It's not that he had anything against parties, or getting dressed up, but it's no secret Sam is clueless when it comes to socializing and, despite what Jasmine and Bea may insist on, he doesn't believe himself handsome enough to pull off the majority of the clothes Jasmine finds him. The thought of "turning heads", as she so excitedly put it, isn't something Sam tends to do nor is it something he knows how to handle. The only comfort is knowing that he won't be alone at this party and if need be, he'll steal Jasmine's car keys and drive right back home where he should be. She can always find another ride.

Jenna carefully inserted her earrings as she stared at herself in the mirror. Sure, she wasn't one for looks, but everything about her had to be perfect, or else Jenna would go crazy. It's a damn curse. Jenna needed it and hated it at the same time.

What was weird was that Jenna insisted on doing everything herself, even if she had no idea how to do it. It may sound strange for a perfectionist - trying to randomly perfect something they had no idea how to do, given its high failure rate - but in the end, for Jenna, it always worked out.

Jenna carefully finished painting her nails as she closed the nail polish bottle. She was never one for plain colors. Her nails were iridescent, shimmering in periwinkle and blue hues. Jenna was about to unpause her episode of Sherlock on Netflix when there was a sudden - though relatively minor - explosion. Jenna cringed as one of her adoptive parents, Orion, swore. Jenna was completely fine with swearing, but when Orion swore...well, that was something big.

"No, no, no!" Jenna's other adoptive parent, Romulus, scolded. "You made the simplest of mistakes, Orion! Sometimes, I wonder how you survive in this world."

Jenna rolled her eyes, continuing to apply the finishing touches on her makeup. Same old, same old. Once have lived with those two for a decade or so, you get used to bombs exploding in the house. Although, the damage was always strangely minimal.

Once Jenna had put her shoes on, her phone rang with a notification.

From Jazz:
Please bombard Sammy with messages and tell him he looks handsome enough to stop traffic.

Jenna raised an eyebrow as she opened the attachment. "Sammy-boy doesn't need encouragement," she muttered to herself. Jenna tapped on Sam's name in her contact list and sent him a text.

To Sammy:
Damn, Sammy, you look good. Show off those abs, and I'm sure all the cars on the street will stop for you.

Jenna laughed, turning her phone off. She just loved embarrassing Sam - in a friend way, of course. She stepped towards the door, about to leave when she realized something. "Damn, I need a ride," she muttered to herself.

Jenna pulled out her phone once again, pausing for a moment before selecting Jasmine's name on her contact list.

To Jazz:
Hey, would you mind picking me up? Sucks that I can't drive :(

Sam held onto the seat belt laying across his chest, terrified for his life. Generally Jasmine is a good driver, but he had forgotten just how lethal she can be behind the wheel when she's in a hurry. "Seriously, the light has been green for like ten hours, what are you even doing!" she protests at the small car in front of them with a couple of honks, earning an exasperated sigh from the boy in the passenger seat. He gives Behati, who's gotten the backseat, an apologetic look on his sister's behalf.

"You know the world isn't going to end if we're a few minutes late." Sam comments, immediately biting the tip of his right thumb in regret. He really shouldn't be the one to talk considering he's the reason they're running behind in the first place, but really it's just a party and no one arrives on time anyway. Of course, Sam is in no hurry to get there. Jasmine, on the other hand, is gas-pedal friendly. Her eyes, hidden behind round sunglasses, dash across the street before the car makes a sharp turn. "No, but I will get an earful from Cydnee if I don't give her the Cat free time I promised." the small blonde huffs, the screeching of the wheels almost drowning out the last few words as the vehicle comes to an abrupt stop in front of a very lavish residence. Jasmine wastes no time to pull out her phone and send Cat a quick text, responding to Jenna's in the process.

Letting out a breath he didn't know he was holding, Sam unbuckles the safety belt and transfers himself to the backseat. Bea is probably already exhausted from having to keep up with Jasmine so it's only fair he saves her the struggle of having to keep up with Cat too. He wiggles carefully into the seat, still just as uncomfortable in the clothing as when he first put them on, giving Bea a pained look in the process because in a way his suffering is also her fault. His shirt is now zipped up to just bellow his collar bone and tucked into the black jeans, which he's convinced will explode off of his body if he makes any sudden movements, leaving little to no space for his phone.

As if on gueue, the device begins to buzz uncontrollably the second he sets it on the seat beside him. He picks it up, reading Charlotte and Jenna's messages back to back, his cheeks quickly tinting pink and eyebrows flying up at their content. There's no need for him to wonder how they know what he looks like, this is obviously Jasmine's doing. He can feel the subtle heat in his cheeks increase tenfold and his heart seems to stop for a good minute the moment Jasper's name pops up along with the rest. Out of all the people she could have messaged! Not a word about Sam's growing and most likely unrequited feelings towards the jock have ever left his mouth, but Jasmine has always been exceptionally skilled at reading him. There's no doubt in his mind that she has caught on by now and while part of him is relieved, the other part really wishes she hadn't, precisely because of situations like these.

Sam's dark and rounded eyes shoot upwards to meet his sister's in the rear view mirror, his cheeks now a pair of ripe tomatoes and his tone low and distressed. "Why are you like this?". The feeble protest only earns him a giggle from the girl in the driver's seat, who is clearly very proud of her actions.

"You're welcome!"

Cat's Outfit
Cydnee considered trying to get ready while Cat was still in her bedroom, but she knew that was going to be more trouble than it was worth. The energetic redhead would either insist on trying to do Cydnee's makeup for her, or if Cydnee left her vanity unattended for even a minute, she was sure that Cat would find her way into her expensive stuff and somehow find a way to ruin it. Instead, Cydnee opted to walk her downstairs. She didn't specifically tell Cat to get out, because she wasn't that stressed out where she needed to be rude, but also because she knew Jasmine would get there eventually to pick her up, but forcing her into the foyer of the Shanks home was the closest she could get to doing just that. "Don't be touching your face like that. You know that's bad for your skin, don't you?" she said, doing her best not to sound snappy as she watched the girl glide her fingers over the highlighter on her cheekbones. Not only was people touching their faces a pet peeve of Cydnee's (because she was one of those people who hated the idea of people letting their dirty hands cause breakouts on their skin), but she didn't want the girl to somehow mess up the makeup. Even if Cat didn't ask her to redo it, Cydnee would feel compelled to do so, because anyone who walked out of her door with a face of makeup was a reflection of her. Doing a bad job (even if it wasn't her fault), would only make her bad, and in turn, possibly deter future clients from inquiring.

"My hands are clean!" Cat insisted, though she did drop her hand back to her side. "I just wanted to make sure you made my face shimmery too!" she insisted, though with the setting spray that Cydnee had sprayed on her, little of the makeup even came off when she touched her face, so she still felt half-convinced of it, even as she peered into one of the mirrors on the wall to confirm that the highlighter was there. "Are you sure that you don't want to just come with me and Jasmine and everyone else now? You can sit on Sam's lap if there's no room in the car. He won't mind! You don't wanna be late!" she chirped, though she was barely even listening to herself speak as she opened up videos on Snapchat of people she followed. As she was watching a Snap, she got a text from Jasmine, saying that the girl was already waiting outside. "She's here! You're really, really, really sure that you don't want to come?"

Cydnee was glad that Jasmine had arrived, and was also glad that she had informed a staff member to be expecting the girl's car shortly, so that the gates to the residence were already open for her to drive through, shortening the amount of time she had to wait even more. "I don't have an ounce of makeup on," she said, as if Cat were stupid to even think she would possibly say yes to leaving now given that. "Just go, I'll see you when I get there, okay?" she said, holding the front door open for the girl. She liked Cat, but she liked her in small doses. Too much, and she was a headache waiting to happen. "And keep those damn hands away from your face!" she chastised once more, as the girl was heading out.

"Okay, okay!" Cat called out to Cydnee, as she did her best to run carefully in her heels out to Jasmine's car. She assumed that she was going to have to sit in the back seat, but her face lit up when she spotted the passenger's seat empty, and she quickly took the opportunity to round the car and claim the seat as her own. She didn't even question why it was empty when Sam and Bea were in the car too, instead basking in the happiness of getting to sit next to Jasmine, but with all of them in the same car, overall. "Hi people!" she gleamed when she slid in, shutting the door behind her. "Tonight's going to be so fun! You all look so pretty! Even you, Sam!" she said, and it wasn't because she meant that Sam naturally looked unattractive, but more-so because she considered "pretty" to be a feminine adjective, and felt the need to clarify.

When Cat was outside, Cydnee quickly shut the door behind her and returned to her bedroom. She read Aaliyah's text along the way, and smirked at it, though she was sure her cheeks grew hotter at the sight of it, too. Aaliyah was the only person who knew that she had a very unexpected thing for Juliette Arnault. It was a crush that Cydnee wasn't necessarily proud of. Juliette was a spoiled brat, who wasn't smart or kind or anything else that would be somewhat admirable in Cydnee's book. It was the way that she was so easy to bother, and get a reaction out of, that probably enhanced the fun that she hand bothering Juliette, but she always felt more than just amusement when she provoked and teased the Royal. She didn't want to have a crush on her, but it was one of those crushes that she couldn't shake, no matter how hard she tried. While she had come to terms with the unwanted feelings by now, what made the matter all the more difficult was that she couldn't stop being mean to Juliette. Even if the snarkiness was only meant playfully (or at least some times it was only meant playfully), Juliette was so sensitive that Cydnee knew that the girl disliked her, and Cydnee had too much pride to stop antagonizing her and try to approach the crush aspect of their relationship in a way that had any possibility of actually panning out in her favor. It was... complicated to say the least, and she knew that Aaliyah knew that too, which was why she had to respond back in the way that she did.

To: Leah
You don't get cousin of the year award til she's sitting on my lap... or... elsewhere... and definitely not in the seat next to me. Sorry boo, if you're good enough you'll keep trying for your favorite cousin tho <3

If there's one thing that Rhiannon knew about Roman was that he was an ass, hot, but an asshole nonetheless. So, it was no surprise that when she opened the door to an indifferent Roman, he stared back acknowledging very little of the babe that was Rhiannon Prinsloo. He had his fair share of girls that came and went, some that were a little harder than others to rid, but Rhia became a nice boost to his reputation. Young, wild, enigmatic, and insanely gorgeous, so who wouldn't want to be the lucky guy to say they banged Buckley's bad ass chick? Surely, Roman was that lucky guy enough to say he did. The two had "no strings attached" sex two.. three times within the last semester, so to say that Roman hadn't gotten her to bed would be an understatement. Nevertheless, they were friends, they were able to have a normal functioning conversation without having the urge to rip at each others clothes. At least that's what Roman was getting at when he referred to Rhiannon with his utmost, bullshitted ass formality as he brushed passed her, "Good evening, Miss Prinsloo." The greeting was enough for Rhiannon to roll her eyes, shutting the door after him. What a poser. Rhiannon knew damn well that if they weren't in the graces of Casper's home they'd be shoving tongues down each other's throats long before she opened the door for him.

"You mentioned pizza?" Rhiannon followed him to the kitchen where she found him rummaging through cabinets in dire need of something strong, an alcoholic beverage that would make him unconscious to his problems. And the long swig he took from one of Casper's step dad's Corona was enough to give Rhiannon a sign that something was wrong besides Roman's usual bitchiness mood that either she or Casper had to deal with. Something was off, and Rhiannon wanted to find what that something was. They had sex, sure, but can you blame a girl for caring the very least? She watched him lean over the counter, locking eyes with her on the other side of the room with one hand on her hip and a heel out; Rhiannon's infamous, defiant stance that meant she was business. "And where has my wife ran off to?" And then there was the finger tapping of his glass. As Rhiannon assumed, something had the princess distraught.

She walked towards him until they were both leaning over the counter. Face to face, Rhiannon could feel Roman's breath hot as it tingled her cheeks, and it was then when she really saw the color in his eyes. "You mean the pizza I had not ordered for you?" The corners of her mouth lifting into a mischievous smile, "Don't worry it'll be here shortly, and your 'wife' is upstairs getting dressed for the party no one had any business telling him, but don't worry" She leaned in closer to him, pressing her lips against his ear in a whisper "that leaves time for you and I to...chat." The distraction was enough for Rhiannon to successfully seize the beer for herself, purposely locking fingers with Roman in the process before taking a quick chug at his drink.

Catching her breath, she pried the bottle away from her lips and examined the content in her hands before turning her focus back to Roman. "Now talk, what's gotten you all worked up?" She gasped, "Don't tell me it's your shark week?" Pouting, she blinked her eyes at him once.

The look Sam was giving Bea was priceless as he joined her in the back. She watched, amused as he strained to buckle his seat belt, his clothes looking a little to suffocating in various areas. For a second Bea worried that if he moved another muscle, his clothes might rip for being too tight. The thought of him loosing a button or two made Bea bite down on her bottom lip, suppressing herself before she exploded into fits of laughter. Still, seeing Sam struggle a bit was dorkishly adorable. He was dorkishly adorable in ways that Bea often had to look away at times ignoring the desire to reach across and ruffle his hair just to get him riled up, or better yet sink low in utter embarrassment.

A few moments in the car passed before Bea thought it was necessary to text her sister to see where she was at. She hadn't seen Rhiannon before Dad dropped Bea off at the Kim's residence due to her car being in maintenance at the shop. So, what better time would it be to text her now when Jas was driving to pick up Cat?

TO: Rye-Rye
YO! Where you at?

She examined the display as it informed Bea that her sister quickly read it within a few seconds it was sent.

From (1/2): Rye-Rye
At the corner of happy and healthy.

From (2/2): Rye-Rye
Kidding... I'm at Casper's.

Casper. The name was not foreign to Bea. She knew him well enough to know that he and Rhiannon were an inseparable pair, and he was nothing but trouble. He was always at the Prinsloo's house visiting Rhiannon of course; however, bringing up the devil's name in vain brought back the past Bea wished to never repeat. They almost kissed last semester at a party, or he was the one to almost kiss her. As if it was yesterday, the memories of what happened three months ago still linger, the talking, the "getting to know each other" without the presence of Rhiannon taking Casper on some wild espionage. That night made Bea realize that Casper was genuinely a nice guy whether the rumors were true, he seemed to be interested in her. That was until, without a warning, he leaned his head towards Bea almost immediately, and it was then when she could smell the stench of cigarettes and alcohol. He was as she least expected, wasted. Feeling embarrassed, ashamed she lightly pushed him away and walked off leaving a drunken Casper behind to flirt with some other poor girl who got their hopes up a little too quickly. She hadn't talked to Casper since. He'd go one way and Bea turned a heel to the opposite direction, but the fact that he continued on with his life as if nothing happened is what had hurt her the most. Casper was supposed to be her first kiss, and Bea knows for a fact that he was too wasted to remember ever talking with her, but she remembers clearly, and the worst part is she lived her life knowing that he thought of her nothing more than Rhiannon's baby sister, like everyone else at Buckley. Still, can you blame a girl for having the littlest crush on the school's bad boy? Although, she is aware where her boundaries lie, all of which don't involve Casper.

Hearing Sam's voice is what brought her back to reality, "Why are you like this?" He was talking to Jasmine of course, but there it was again, the pained side glances that he was giving Bea. She raised an eyebrow at him, chuckling a bit, "Hey, don't give me that look as if this was all my fault."

A few minutes pass, and they were outside of Cat's home not long before the little red head bounced in the passenger seat acknowledging everyone's attire until her eyes rested on Sam, she did a double take. "Tonight's going to be so fun! You all look so pretty," she beamed, " Even you, Sam!"

Bea returned the expression, "Thank you Kitty Cat, you look beautiful as well." She looked towards Sam as if to say, 'I told you, so', sticking her tongue out in the process.

The rest of the car ride had been quiet until Bea had overheard a familiar song on the radio, its funky tune was barely audible until Bea reached over for the volume tuner and turned it up to Max. She gasped, her eyes gleaming with excitement "I LOVE THIS SONG!!!" The song was Love Me Right by Exo, and immediately Bea started to match her body to the beat, her head dropping at every bass as she sang the lyrics out loud. She looked to Sam grooving her shoulder against his, "C'mon Kim, let loose."

People outside made no hesitation to rubberneck at the blonde vigorously whipping her hair left to right as they drove past. Bea was sure she was making a fool out of herself, but she didn't care if it meant that she'd crack a smile out of Samuel.

At some point, Luke had lost Camila, Cydnee and Juliette - not that it was too much of a surprise. Royals just didn't show up to parties with Wannabes, which was fine. He wasn't salty, not at all. Plus, Aaliyah hadn't even been with them when they arrived, remarking that her niece had not been really asleep when Aaliyah had set her in her room. And considering the fact that Aaliyah never really ever, as far as Luke was concerned, didn't leave the house without checking in on the toddler, it made sense that she didn't want to leave when the girl obviously knew that she was still in the house. So, she was just going to get Malcolm to bring her after she made sure that the young girl had something on her stomach that wasn't a snack and was comfortable in her room. It didn't even occur to Lucas to even question it at the time because the tequila sunrise, combined with a shot or three - who's really counting - of the vodka Malcolm had brought, made him giddy for the night ahead of them. So, so what if the Royals promptly ditched him considering the fact that their queen wasn't present to force them to humor him? He didn't need them.

He totally did. Screw whatever his bitter tipsy side said.

Nevertheless, when it hit eight o'clock, Luke was having a pretty good time grinding against this scrumptious looking Animal. It wasn't his scrumptious, super mysterious for no damn reason but obviously in the best way Animal, sure, but Roman wasn't even his to begin with, let alone to be thinking about when he had hot, semi-sweaty male behind him. Buckley may not have been the most...open about a lot of things, especially sexuality, but house parties like these were where there really weren't no rules. You could do what you wanted with who you wanted. Granted, depending on who you were, you would probably want to keep a bit quiet if you were caught with a person far below you on the hierarchy, but again it was a party. Shit happened at a party. Not many took the time to judge at a party. And Luke was taking advantage, sucking down the contents of the wine cooler bottle like it was nothing but water. To him, it was considering it was pretty much a flavored beer and not at all as biting as something like vodka or tequila, but definitely enough alcohol to make him feel A-ok with everything. Including texting Rhapsody.

"Ok, but where do you wanna go next?" Genneya asked after stealing a handful from the fry basket on their table. By the time eight o'clock had come, she was starving, but had been in the middle of girls vs. boys skyscraper rope course race that she just had to give her all to because she would be darned if Louis thought for a second that the boys were going to win. Granted, she did love her some Chris, but he ultimately was grouped in with the rest of them and was the enemy at the time. Sadly enough, it was a tie that Genneya swore they were going to broke, but she was a part of their group that had wanted to go back to their tables and get their grub on. Her mom had rented the whole place out for the evening, leaving the lower school division to do as they pleased. So, Gigi hadn't even hesitated or felt the least bit ashamed when she grabbed three slices of the meat lover's pizza, a basket of lightly salted french fries that she totally was going to share with whomever she was sitting with - which happened to be Chris and a few other classmates - and a strawberry crush that had just been refilled.

She dipped a fry into what used to be Chris' large dollop of ketchup, but it was currently more of a puddle of tomato-y goodness that she was going to steal since their table didn't have a ketchup bottle and she didn't feel like calling to someone to bring her one or ask for the direction the one they had been using went. Besides, friends didn't let friends go without ketchup. There was a handbook and everyone needed to read it. After a few chews, she continued, "We could do the laser maze or the arcade...pretty sure I'm gonna kick your butt anyway, but I figured I'd let you decide which one you wanted to lose to me in."Grinning at her own audacity, Genneya playfully captured the straw from her cup between her lips, sucking the sweet carbonated beverage up to chase the salty fried goodness she honestly had an addiction to.

Successfully dodging, and even catching one of the bread sticks that are chucked in his direction, Roman bites into the soft dough with a mask of amusement. "Should have guarded your wallet better" he says in response to the acusations thrown at him, picking up one of the fluffy fallen sticks and heaving back in Casper's general direction, purposely missing his head. There's no reason why he should be blamed for anything. Rhianon could just as easily told him about the party that Roman didn't plan on going to in the first place.

Speaking of the blonde, he decides to join her by taking a slice of pizza for himself, despite her previous declarations that the Italian delicacy was not meant for him. Surely she can't finish it all on her own, and Roman is more than happy to help her out. While enjoying the feast he can feel Casper's glare boring holes into the side of his face, and Rhianon's too most likely, as he goes on about being on delicate terms with his mother. Roman knows that all too well, having heard it before from Casper himself. After rubbing his hands together as if he's brushing off dust, he pulls out a wing and holds it up to Casper's pouting face with a wickd yet undeniably charming smile. "Relax babe, have a bite" he teases and waits for the boy to accept the food before taking one for himself. "Just tell your folks it was my doing, I'm sure they'll forgive me just this once" he states confidently as his long finger pick bits of meat off of the bone. It's no secret that both Casper's mom and step-dad have taken a strong liking to Roman after the blonde managed to charm the pants off both of them. He's also never given them a reason to distrust him. Surely enough he can help Casper out of this predicament.

The time passes quicker than anticipated and now they really are fashionably late, as Rhianon described it. Not that Roman cares, in fact, th real party doesn't truly start until later into the night when everyone's had one too many drinks. He's still not pressed about going, but maybe he can find something, or rather someone, to lifts his spirits and follow him home at the end of the night.

Sam is still not sure how and at what moment he managed to loose both Jasmine and Behati. Surely enough, it must have been sometime between Jasmine's third drink and a very pretty girl that he'd definitely never met before coming up and pulling him onto the dance floor and away from Bea. Most guys would be thrilled to be in his position, but the amount of unusual attention he's been getting since he stepped inside is making his head spin. All the sounds, colors and faces are starting to blend when he hasn't had so much as a single sip of alcohol.

Needless to say he's beyond relieved that the lights have been dimmed. It's the only thing capable of hiding his ruby red cheeks, a result of both the flirting and the lack of air his Jasmine-produced outfit provides. Sam had fully expected to feel out of place, but this is an entirely new world for him, because being flirted with constantly is not something Sam has any experience with, let alone knows how to handle. Because Samuel is the quiet boy that no one knows, the one that is never noticed. A wallflower in every sense of the word. He's certainly not the type to be looked at the way girls, and some guys have been looking at him throughout the night. He's already made a mental not to give Jasmine a formidable piece of his mind when they get back home, that is if he makes it out of here alive.

There's a new pretty girl in front of him now. She had found her way to him immediately after he'd managed to escape from the other. Thankfully, this girl is not forcing him to dance and her bubbly personality does manage to ease his nerves, if only a little. Still, even for a socially unaware and oblivious Sam, it's obvious that she's flirting and really only looking for someone to give her a good private after party. Which is why Sam doesn't hesitate on taking advantage of the few seconds she's using to get a refill to send out an SOS.

To: Jazzi, Bea, Charlie.

He looks up just in time to catch her offering him a drink, but what catches his attention more than the strange and untrustworthy looking liquid in the red solo cup is a familiar face several feet away and coming towards them. The jock still hasn't noticed the troubled teen, probably being caught up in his own endeavors, but Sam can't help but to pray that as Jasper steps closer, he'll notice Sam's distress and get him the hell away from here.

The music thumped at Behati's heart vigorously. It's variations produced a bass loud enough to leave her even the most remotely deaf. The thought was exhilarating. The party was exhilarating. She enjoyed the sight of different cliques banding together in a moment of rejoice. It made her heart swell with just the tiniest bit of hope that the students of Buckley school can finally join hands in a game as they run around the camp bonfire singing 'Old McDonald'. Of course, the copper liquid that she held in her plastic cup was reasons for giving the free spirit fictitious visions. She took another sip, its strong, metallic taste burning her throat. She scrunched her nose in repugnance, looking up at the Senior who persuaded her with the revolting drink.

"Wow that's strong, what is this?" she wiped at her mouth with the sleeve of her leather jacket.

The guy pursued his lips, amused at Bea's expression. Clearly, Bea was oblivious when it came to liquor. Taking a look at the Junior, he could tell that she was only able to handle the amateur beverages, like beer and probably a sip or two of wine during special occasions. "Hennessy. It's state of the art. Five shots will leave you flying on cloud nine." Noticeably, the guy recognized that Behati was attractive. If he was lucky, maybe she would take up his offer in drinking more Hennessy and perhaps he'd get lucky with her tonight.

Behati pushed the cup his way shaking her head, "That's a cloud I'd rather not be on, thanks, but no thanks."

"Oooh, come on, Chica." he moved closer stinking of cheap cologne and domestic cigarettes as he broke off the personal bubble Behati had obviously bordered between them, "Live a little." She ignored him as she reached for her cell sounding with a notification of a text. She examined it was from Sam.

FROM: Sam-I-Am
Help D':

The message was more than enough to send Bea into a frenzy as she ventured out in search of her friend. "Thanks for the sample!" she called out to the guy who she was clueless to believe was only trying to get her into a bed, or better a closet, and squeezed her way through half-naked bodies pressed against one another. The sight was nauseating. Clearing, there are rooms they could go to, but they'd rather do their business right in the middle of everything. It was beyond disgusting, and if Bea wasn't on a hunt for Sammy at that very moment she would sure as hell wouldn’t hesitate to yell for the couples to get a room.

Just as she expected, she found Sam in the middle of the dance floor looking the very least comfortable as he grasped a red cup in his hands, his knuckles turning white, trying his hardest not to make eye contact with the little ratchet forcing herself onto him. Bea watched as the girl ran her fingers through his hair simultaneously trailing a finger nail meeting his zipper of his shirt all while leaning down to whisper sweet nothings into his ear.

Bea had seen enough.

Feeling the drink kicking in a bit, she stumbled as she made her way towards them before catching her balance onto Sam. "What do we here?" Taking one good look at the trash that stood before her, her face concealed with the works and wonders of Dollar Tree makeup, a skirt that was short enough at the unsuccessful attempt to show the ass she didn't have. Not much to show in the cleavage department either with the halter top. Bea recognized the girl very well, she was the kind who enjoys hanging behind the dumpster of Walmart. Of course, when they mention being the store at the 'corner of happy and healthy' at least STD-infected hoes are included with every purchase as well.

Because that's exactly what Bea was meeting eyes with.

The girl matched Bea's expression, eyeing her up and down with a disgusted look on her face, "And YOU are?" Bitch? Excuse you.

Without thinking, Bea interlaced fingers with Sam, ignoring the fact that his hand had fit perfectly in hers. Warm, and undeniably soft just as predicted. She ignored the fact that he was probably beet red at that very moment, and at that very moment she had to prevent herself from getting sweaty palms for touching Sam. She just could not handle his attractive quirks right now. "His girlfriend."

Lie.

There are so many ways this could have gone. Bea could have simply told the girl to fuck off from her friend, or simply drag Sam away without Bea having to be referred to as his girlfriend. Although, the thought of ever being Sam's girlfriend released butterflies in her stomach. Now saying it aloud, only there weren't butterflies in her stomach, there were fire breathing dragons. Perhaps, it was the alcohol talking. Nevertheless, Bea squeezed his hand for reassurance not only for his sake, but for hers as well because at that very moment her heart was racing at the speed of light, and realizing that Samuel Ren Kim was the reason.

_____________________________________
If the sweat drops sliding down his back aren't enough to tell Sam he's the most uncomfortable he's ever been, the turning in the pit of his stomach sure is. This nameless girl in front of him, with big and beautiful eyes, is looking at him as if he were the last piece of meat on the supermarket stand. Any attempt he makes at walking away are interrupted by a brush of his hand or tug of his shirt and, regardless of how much he doesn't want anything with her, Sam isn't the kind to come right out and say it.

Which is why the muffled sound of Behati’s voice is like music to his nearly deafened ears. His shoulders visibly relax, only to tense right back up again as slender fingers are laced with his. He hears Bea’s words as they leave her mouth but it takes a few beats for them to register. As the thought settles in his cheeks simultaneously tint an even darker shade of red, something he didn't think possible. The girl eyes him skeptically, as if waiting for him to call Bea out on a lie, but all he can do is stare back; wide-eyed and confused beyond belief. His lips and tongue can't seem to coordinate and form words and his limbs are stock still, his fingers subconsciously latching onto Bea’s in search of reassurance.

”You hadn't mentioned a girlfriend.” the girl, who hasn't even thought to share her name, protests. Sam bites at the corner of his lower lip, thinking of the nicest way possible to say that she never so much as gave him a chance.
Because I’m not, is what Bea should have told the girl instead she waited for Sam to speak first. She hoped that he would be the first to let the girl know that yes, he was off limits, but when he didn’t Bea cleared her throat and spoke for him. ”You didn’t give him a chance to,” again, Bea squeezed Sam’s hand, ”from what I saw you practically threw yourself at him.”

The girl was silent as she stared from Bea to Sam, then back to Bea with a look of annoyance before finally huffing out loud, ”Whatever.” she muttered, staggering away from them in search of a new toy to play with.

Bea hadn’t realized the breath she was holding in until she saw the girl disappear into the mass of bodies. She exhaled a little loudly than expected before finally turning to face Sam with a crooked smile plastered on her face, ”Well, that got rid of her.”

Realizing she hadn’t let go of Sam’s hand, she let hers drop to her side, her heart doing the same before clearing the lump in her throat, ”I’m going back to the party.” Walking away, she turned back to shoot Sam a concerned look, her head cocked to one side, ”Think you can manage?”

Sam really should have spoken up for himself, but as it happens everytime he's in a nerve wracking situation, his words never formed. A small part of him felt bad for the girl that has just walked away, because he really should have been straightforward with her from the beginning, but what's done is done and there's really no point in moping about it now. His shoulders slowly drop, eyes searching for Bea’s while she makes sure she's alright. She always has, and though Sam has never uttered the words out loud, he doesn't know what he would do without her. Ignoring the heat settled in his cheeks and heart racing a mile a second, he nods.

”I need to find Jazz before she breaks something. ..or someone.” he notes, only now realizing that his petite sibling is not with Bea either. He makes to walk away and leave Bea to do as she pleases, considering he's already bugged her more than necessary for one night, but quickly pivots his heels on a thought.

”Thank you” the few words coupled with a genuine smile of gratitude should be more than enough to let the blonde know Sam is beyond grateful. Not only for tonight, but for all the previous nights and nights to come.

Leaving her on that thought he quickly fishes for his phone, with great difficulty, and searches for Jenna’s name in hopes of locating Jasmine.

To: Jenna
MSG: Where are you? And have you seen my sister? If I don't find her soon she might get herself arrested.

Jenna was bored.

Yes, Jenna was that one person at parties who found everything boring. Even though she had absolutely no idea was Sam was up to, even he was probably involving himself in something, drama or...something else. Most likely someone hitting on him, Jenna assumed, given his past experiences. People definitely weren't turned off by Sam's personality and looks. Jenna was sure that at least three people she knew had a crush on him.

Any unsuspecting person would assume that Jenna had a crush on dear Sammy, but that wasn't the case. To be perfectly honest, Jenna never had a crush in her life. She was asexual, aromantic, etc. And Jenna was completely fine with that.

Jenna almost jumped with excitement when her phone buzzed with a notification. It was from Sam.

From Sam:
Where are you? And have you seen my sister? If I don't find her soon she might get herself arrested.

Jenna smiled. That was kind of like Jazz, in a sense. Although she couldn't quite be classified as a serious rebel, getting arrested was definitely possibly for the blonde. Jenna quickly responded to Sam, before she started to search for him.

To Sam:
No need to concern yourself with my whereabouts. No, I haven't seen Jazz, but I'm coming over because I have literally nothing else to do. Sit tight, Sammy ;)

Jenna weaved herself through the party-goers, glaring at the drunk ones who were staring at her suggestively. She sighed exasperatedly, finally choosing to slap one in the face. He didn't respond; he was probably too high to notice. Jenna rolled her eyes, scowling. Personally, she had nothing against underage drinking (that's probably not a good thing), but Jenna didn't like drunks. Obviously.

Soon enough, Jenna recognized Sam's black-haired head and quickly headed his way.

"Sammy-boy!" she greeted. Jenna raised an eyebrow as she recognizes the distinct look on his face. "Okay, what the hell did I miss?"

As Sam expected, Jenna was able to find him in a heartbeat, hardly giving him any time to read or even respond to her message. And it comes as no surprise to him that she quickly catches on to there having been something before she arrived. That something not being serious in any sense, but enough to get his heartrate running wild and his cheeks ablaze. "Nothing!" he assures a bit too excitedly. Sammy has always been a terribly liar, that he's well aware of. However, there's no point in bridging back past dues. The nameless girl that had been at the start of it all had no disappeared and he probably should too.

"Help me find Jazz" he quickly adds, not giving her any chance to retort, before taking hold of her hand and pulling her away from a small crowd and near another. It's not unusual for accidents, arguments and broken bones to happen at these kinds of parties, but that doesn't keep the terrified look from Samuel's features when he catches eyes and ears of what's going on closer to the entrance. One tall, handsome and undeniably terrifying Roman Eliades stands at the center of the scene. Sam's eyes zero in on a familiar face standing a few feet behind him and his frown deepends significantly.

Sam and Luke cannot be referred to as the closest of friends seeing as they run in different circles, different grades and know one another by pure coincidences, most of which were brought on by Jasmine, but they're friends regardless. Which is why Samuel can't hide the terrified concern for seeing Luke be involved in something like this.

But having come in probably at the climax of it all, Sam sees the rumble simmer down and Luke , followed by Roman, escort themselves outside. He doesn't hesitate to send a concerned text in Luke's direction before turning his full attention back to Jenna who, for the most part, is probably unphased.

To: Luke

Regardless of what you may think, Jasmine is not drunk. She's a good girl, a good girl indeed. There's no part of her that wants to be wasted beyond belief and end up in some random guy's bed. Or what's worse, the back of his car. No, Jazz is not drunk, she's merely friendlier than normal. Which is why, for the first time in a long time, her smile widens upon seeing Nick over by the bar. It's no secret Jasmine doesn't particularly like the guy, but what is a secret is the fact that what she really doesn't like is what she feels towards him. But ask as many times as you may, Jasmine does not have any form of crush on the jock.

'Nicky-nick!" her spirits are high, but her words are not slurred. Not even a little. "Well don't you look dapper tonight" one tilt of the head tells Jasmine of the possibility of reuniting with Cydnee and Cat, who are standing just a few feet away, but a commotion from behind her interrupts any intentions she had of doing so. Her head turns in the direction of the noise, but she's nowhere near enough to see or hear what is going on. She does know that there's trouble and that's enough of a warning for her. Her not by any means drunken state is still able to filter out the possibility of Sam being involved in or near the trouble. But her worries soon evaporate the moment her brother's face, along with Jenna's comes into view.

"Sammy" her relief pushes her off the bar seat to throw her arms around him in a relieved fashion. Even in the happy bliss she is currently experiencing, she can't overlook the fear in the pit of her stomach that something might have happened to Sam, which would have been her fault considering she all but dragged him here. "What's going on?" she inquires, her eyes pointing in the direction of the noise she had just heard.

"Nothing!" Sam responded all too quickly to Jenna's short and mild interrogation. The blue-eyed brunette narrowed her eyes, obviously not believing it. Sam had always been an absolutely horrible liar. But given his flushed cheeks, it was probably just a girl thing that happened. Nothing too serious, but Jenna wanted to know precisely what happened. She was that type of person.

Unfortunately, before Jenna could corner her friend and force the words out of him, he quickly added a plea to his miserable attempt of lying. "Help me find Jazz?" Before Jenna could respond, Sam quickly grabbed her hand as he pulled her away from a small crowd and near another. At these types of parties, it wasn't unusual for arguments, accidents, or even bone breaking to take place. Jenna knew that Sam was well aware of the fact, but that clearly didn't prevent a terrified expression appearing on his features. While he seemed frightened at the scene before them, Jenna glanced indifferently at Roman Eliades, clearly unimpressed. She and Sam were different in many, many ways. While Sam was the type of person who'd get a bit frightened from the commotion in front of the two of them, Jenna was almost always unfazed.

Jenna saw Sam's eyes zero in on a different face as the dark-eyed sophomore's frown deepened significantly. Ah, Luke. It was slightly hard for Jenna to believe that the two of them were actually friends, but then again, Sam would be Sam and Luke would be Luke. Sam, being the ever-so-innocent little angel, was clearly disgruntled when he saw that Luke was involved in the commotion.

The rumble of noise simmered down as Roman and Luke escorted themselves outside. Sam pulled out his phone - probably texting Luke, after all, he was his friend - before directing his full attention to Jenna.

On the other side of the party, Nick was sitting at the bar. He was definitely a beer person, and wasn't a lightweight at all. He chugged his beer, before setting the now-empty bottle down. He was still sober, which was a good thing, but a bit more beer and he'd start wandering in the world of drunkenness.

Nick wasn't going to lie, he was slightly surprised when Jasmine - very cheerily - called out to him. "Nicky-nick!" Nick raised an eyebrow and turned to the petite blonde. If her words weren't perfectly clear, he would've deemed her drunk. "Well, don't you look dapper tonight!"

Nick furrowed his brow. To be honest, he was the slightest bit weirded out. Sure, he knew Jazz was the bold, confident one out of the two Kim siblings, but this was a bit strange. "Thanks," Nick responded, keeping his cool. He half-smiled at Jazz. "You don't look too bad yourself."

Nick instantly thought that he sounded like he was flirting with the blonde. Sure, he may have the tiniest crush on her, but he wasn't going to become her boyfriend anytime soon. Despite that, Nick didn't take back anything he said. In his point of view, he was just being friendly. In a completely normal friend way.

The two of them heard a commotion, and turned to the direction of the noise. Neither of them were close enough to hear or see anything particularly dramatic. Nick shrugged to himself before turning to the bartender, choosing to order a water.

"Sammy," Jazz pushed herself off the bar seat as soon as she saw her brother and Jenna, throwing her arms around the former. She pulled back. "What's going on?" she inquired, gazing at both Sam and Jenna for answers.

Jenna shrugged in somewhat of a nonchalant manner. "From the gossip that's already spreading," she started. "Eliades and Mike - is that his name - got into a fight. Luke's semi-involved. It's over now."

Despite Jasmine's hazy understanding of the events going on around her, she was sober enough to realize that what Jenna had just said was unlikely. For a second she remained silent, eyes focused on the brunette as if asking her to repeat it again. Her gaze then flickered to Sam, who in turn nodded in assurance to what the girl had just said. Her eyebrows reacted first, quickly disappearing into her well-kept bangs. Luke may be many things, but Jasmine knows he's not a trouble maker.

"what was Luke doing in the middle of all that?" she questioned, eyebrow cocked in curiosity, her eyes flickered more towards Sam since he seemed to be the closest to the wannabe out of anyone there. A subtle shrug was returned to her as her brother glanced back in the direction of the scene.

"I don't know...we only saw the end of everything and then he and Roman left." he almost mumbled, checking his phone once to see that there had yet to be a reply to the text he had sent Luke. Sammy may not be the closest friend to the wannabe, but they are friends nonetheless, and close enough to where Sam would avidly worry about his well being. Because as trusting and naΓ―ve as he is, even he knows Roman Eliades spells TROUBLE in all its capital letters. The last thing he wants is to see someone he cares for go through the kind of heartbreak he has faced before. Granted, Luke can fend for himself much better than Sam ever could, but that doesn't mean he is bulletproof.

Jasmine doesn't fail to catch on to her brother's subtle shift of expression and decides that a change of scenery could do him some good. "Don't worry too much, Sammy, I'm sure he's fine" she chimes in, shoving her own worries to the back of her mind. "Luke is more fierce than Jenna and I combined." she jokes, throwing the girl a playful look as her hand links with Sam's. "What you should be worrying about is making sure you don't end up snatched again." her teasing earned her the desired effect; an adorable pout and pink tinted cheeks from one flustered Sam.

With a giggle, she gestured towards the back door as she suggested they go outside and get some fresh air, not forgetting to invite Jenna, and even Nick, to come along. The smell of the outdoors would be a nice change for the both of them. One step out the back door and the difference in atmosphere could already be noted. Not that it saved Samuel the suggestive looks. In complete disregard to his misery, Jasmine appeared to be proud of what she had created. Her eyes scanned the area until they landed upon a familiar face. Rhapsody seemed to be fairly unoccupied, and surprisingly not accompanied by the usual chizled jawline.

"I don't understand how it is that you look prettier and prettier every time I see you." is Jasmine's greeting directed at the taller girl. Her eyes flicker around for a millisecond, wondering if maybe Derek has already heard about the night's event and has ran off to find his baby brother. Not that Jasmine would blame him. Were it Sam in Luke's position, she would have done the same and then some.

Tipsy, not drunk. That is what Camila continued to repeat in her head, despite being assured by a few people she had talked to since Aliyah left that she appeared to be happier than usual and utterly confused. Perhaps she was, but that didn't necessarily mean she was drunk. She lazily waved goodbye to Riley as the prep left the confines of the kitchen, and once again, Cami was alone.

Were it a normal, she wouldn't particularly mind, but somewhere between all the tequila shots and sugary drinks, her common sense had mixed in with irrational thoughts and emotions and what she was feeling like Juliette on her sober days. She glanced down at her cup for a moment, contemplating whether she should go all out and just continued to refill her cup until she either lost consciousness or ended up in someone's bed. All the self-assurance about not needing anyone to love had been forcefully thrown out the rhetorical window. Being so caught up in her thoughts, it took her several seconds to realize it was Ari that was now beside her, asking about Riley. Letting out a soft huff, her head slouched over, gently landing on Arizona's shoulder. Her brown orbs stared straight ahead at the kitchen entrance. "Jus' missed 'er. I dunno where she went"

To Camila, her words were delivered as they should be, but if Ari were to tell her that her speech was slurred or that she couldn't quite understand what was coming out of her mouth, she certainly wouldn't be the first one to do so. It's incredibly hard to assure others that you are in face not drunk when you can't so much as even form proper sentences. There's no denying that the fiery liquid running through her veins is taking a good grip on her sanity. "Are you gonna leave me 'gain to find 'er?". She really hadn't meant for the question to sound like a plea, but at this point Cami was tipsy enough to openly admit that she did not want to be alone.

Jazz's eyes focused on the blue-eyed brunette, silent. Jenna said nothing to change her declaration, shrugging at Jazz's inquiring eyes. Luke wasn't exactly the quiet goody two-shoes, but he was never one to get into the trouble Roman Eliades got into. While Jenna and Luke weren't particularly close, the former knew that the two Kim siblings were friends with Derek's little brother. The blonde then turned to her brother, who nodded, confirming Jenna's statement. Jazz's eyebrows quirked up, clearly concerned.

"What was Luke doing in the middle of all that?" Jazz inquired, genuinely curious, her eyes flickering to Sam. Out of everyone there, he seemed to know Luke best. The pair may seem like unlikely friends, but to be honest, unlikely friends was kind of Sam's thing. After all, no one truly expected Sam and Jenna's friendship, but it definitely worked out. Sam simply shrugged in response to his sister's question, glancing back in the direction of the scene.

"I don't know," Sam mumbled, glancing back down at his phone. He was most likely checking for a response to the text message he presumably sent Luke earlier that night. "We only saw the end of everything and then he and Roman left."

Both Jenna and Jazz caught the subtle shift in Sam's expression. The latter tried to help out immediately. "Don't worry too much, Sammy," The blonde chimed in cheerily. "I'm sure he's fine.". Jazz continued on with her somewhat cheerful ramble, clearly attempting to give her little brother a change of scenery. "Luke is more fierce than Jenna and I combined." she joked, throwing Jenna a playful look as she grasped her brother's hand.

"I'm insulted," Jenna gasped dramatically, putting a hand on her heart in a joking manner. "But seriously Sammy, anyone fiercer than even one of us," Jenna referred to herself and Jazz, "can handle himself, no problem." The brunette smiled at her artist friend, attempting to ease his worries. She was never the sensitive one of the two, but Sam was one of her best friends, and she wanted to help. Jenna was known for her rather harsh nature, but didn't put too much effort into treading lightly with Sam, mainly because she knew her friend was quite used to her bluntness. Sam knew Jenna meant no harm.

"What you should be worrying about," Jazz continued, in a teasing tone, "is making sure you don't end up snatched again." Jenna swore she saw a hint of a mischievous smile.

Sam's cheeks flushed at his sister's teasing, and Jenna laughed. Jazz gestured to the back door, inviting Jenna, and even Nick, who was downing a shot of beer, for some fresh air. Nick had a slightly surprised look on his face, but started moving with little hesitation.

"Well," he started, grinning, setting his glass down. "Getting drunk isn't ideal." He slid out of his seat.

"Why aren't you hanging out with your little gang of jocks, Nicky?" Jenna questioned, her tone slightly teasing. Hey, they were friends. Sure, Jenna wasn't as close with Nick as she was with Sam, but they were on good terms. The light-haired jock raised a brow at the nickname, but let it slide.

"To be honest," he started, "I have no fucking idea what the hell they're doing right now." Nick shrugged. "Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, they're probably just doing their own thing. We're not exactly a giggling group of Royals." Nick's tone as he said the last part showed that what he said wasn't meant to be offensive.

Jenna shrugged. "Good enough for me."

Rhapsody wanted to object to Jas saying that she looked better the smaller blonde girl but before she could say a word Jasmine lifted a finger. She just took the compliment with a bashful smile. "Thanks, girl." Rhapsody was never good at taking compliments, especially from friends because she felt that they were only saying these things because they were her friend. It was even worst with Derek, sometimes she believed him like when he would lick his lips and look at her with those hooded eyes of his but other than that she always objected even if she only did in her mind. When they began talking about Samuel who wasn't far away from the pair, Rhapsody looked towards him to see how good he looked. She had to smirk towards Sammy. He did look really good which wasn't surprising. He was a cute guy, just not her type. He was quiet and shy and she liked guys with a little more confidence to them since she liked to joke around saying it was her job to be too humble in her relationship. "You weren't kidding, he looks really good, Jas! Looking like that he will have to shoo his admirers away with a stick." She chuckled, returning her gaze back to Jasmine for a moment before getting the feeling that someone was walking up behind her.

She didn't really react until she felt a chill crawl its way up her spine. Partially because it caught her by surprise but mostly because she knew exactly who it was. No one else really had the balls to flirt with Rhapsody let alone touch her, not with someone like Derek constantly with her. And when she felt the arms tighten and saw the small feather tattoo on his hand, she knew exactly who it was, allowing herself to finally drop the surprised look off of her face and turn it into a smile as he greeted and kissed her. She wrapped her arms around his. "Hey baby." When he asked if she had seen Malcolm her smile flattened a bit as she sighed sharply. She turned towards the drifter slightly before speaking. "I saw him pass through but he didn't come say anything to me. He looked at me and left," She tried not to look like it annoyed her, but she wasn't doing a good job. Anyone who wasn't close to her wouldn't be able to tell that she was... less than pleased with her brother but with the pair around her. She just didn't get it. He's been acting weird for a while now. Spending the night at friends' houses, keeping things from both her and Derek, it just didn't make any sense! And now, what? He was too busy to say anything to his own sister. He could talk to Poppy but, not to her? Malc never just ignored her even in public around his jock friends who already made it clear what they thought of Rhaps. An artist pain who just so happened to have a great ass, their words. She took a deep breath before smile towards the two and tightening her grip slightly on Derek's arm, feeling the few small scratches she had left on his arm. "But, it is fine. We can call him on the way home or when we get there. It will be... fine." If he actually went home tonight. Which was doubtful.

She couldn't be happier when Derek changed the attention from her to Jasmine. That is until she heard what he asked. She slyly slid back how she was moments ago with her back against him, trying to plead Jasmine with her big eyes not to say anything about the whole Luke thing. It wasn't like she wanted to hide it from him, she just wanted him to have a great night. And besides, it wasn't like he wasn't keeping something from her (not that Rhapsody knew that). She chuckled at Derek saying that Luke hadn't texted him about disowning him. Which he couldn't say tonight because Derek looked good. Not that Rhapsody ever saw him any other way other than fine as hell. And she let that be known. Thankfully she said that she hadn't seen him all night but assured Derek that the sophomore was fine. "If he was in trouble he would have texted me." She knew if he was in real trouble Luke would have talked to Rhaps probably before Derek since the younger brother didn't feel like she was just trying to act like the boss of him or whatever he would say to Derek when the older brother tried to help him. Rhapsody smiled towards Samuel, waving towards him when he greeted the couple. "Hey Sammy! A little birdy told me you have not been able to keep the suitors away." She smirked with a small wink.

Jenna and Nick watched as Jasmine conversed with Rhapsody and Derek. Jenna liked Rhaps; she was nice. The two girls had many similarities, despite their age difference - for one, they were both artists. Both of them were also quite intelligent. They shared some personality traits, although Jenna thought that Rhaps was too humble for her own good. And Nick was and is - somewhat - bros with Derek. Even though Derek was technically no longer a jock, Nick saw no reason in not being friends with him.

Although his sister was quite openly talking to Derek and Rhapsody, Sam had stayed back with Nick and Jenna. "Come on, Sammy," Jenna chided, swinging an arm around Nick's shoulders. "Go chat with them. They're probably gossiping about you already anyways.

"No need to stick around with loners like us," Nick joked, flashing the younger boy a genuine smile.

As if on cue, Jasmine gestured towards Sam as he started walking towards the group. "Guys and gals have been swarming like bees to honey," Jazz stated mischievously.

While Sam, Jazz, Rhapsody, and Derek talked, Nick felt his phone ring. He frowned slightly as he noticed the number. His uncle never called him unless it was Sunday morning or afternoon. He turned to Jenna.

"Gotta take this," he explained. Jenna gestured for him to do so.

"I'm a big girl," she said, "I can take care of myself." Nick flashed her a thumbs-up, before heading outside to answer his call.

Jenna approached the group of four as Nick left to answer his phone call. She approached just as Derek had asked, "Hey, Jasmine. Sorry to interrupt, but you seen Luke? Haven't seen him since he left the house earlier and I usually at least get a drunk text about how much he's gonna disown me for whatever I wore for the day. Haven't got it yet."

Jenna and Jazz were thinking the same thing; clearly, Derek hadn't heard about the Luke and Roman scandal. Jasmine formulated a decent response.

"I actually haven't seen him all night," Jazz replied smoothly. Technically, Jenn figured, the statement wasn't a lie. "I'm sure he's doing fine."

Jasmine might do things for the faint of heart, but Jenna didn't. She was blunt by nature. She opened her mouth to tell Derek about what Luke was up to - she had no problem being the bearer of bad news, at least she was being honest and giving him the information he wanted - but at the sight of Sam's pleading eyes, the blue-eyed brunette veered off-course. Like Jasmine, Jenna quickly formulated a response to send Derek's way.

"Sorry for crashing your group talk," she apologized almost lamely, biding her time to come up with something, "but to answer your question, Derek - I know it wasn't directed towards me - I haven't seen Luke very recently. But I agree with Jazz, he's probably fine."

Unlike Jasmine's response, there was a direct lie in Jenna's, but then again, "dishonest" was one of her personality traits.

Bea Prinsloo stumbled into the party. She was looking bomb asf. She had red lipstick and a skirt that was so flowy and long. She scanned her eyes through the throng of drunk kids until her eyes met with Samuel Kim. She confidently strode in his direction, sashaying her hips from left to right. She grabbed his face in hers and planted a smooch on his lips. She pulled away, smiling, "Happy fourth anniversary, bitch."
