If one were to describe Rio in one word it would be unexceptional. Rarely venturing outside of her comfort zone, she's your run of the mill teenage girl, although one might argue that she's a little too yaoi manga. but if you took that up with her she'd say that it's impossible to have too much BXB manga. This piece of fujoshi trash somehow managed to worm her way up the social ladder at Tokyo Academy, landing herself as one of the more popular girl. Apart from the normal girl talk with friends about the latest manga, Rio keeps a lot of secrets in order to preserve her image at the academy as a girly girl and track team wannabe.
The lesser of her two major secrets would be the fact that she plays video games, actually, playing would be an understatement. Rio LIVES for the things. What had started as a friend lending her an otome game back in middle school, led to daily trips to the internet cafe, organizing a clan clan for her favorite FPS, attending conventions and meetups monthly, and not to mention her all nighters to do a raids. It's a miracle that the girl hasn't developed circles under her eyes the size of Jupiter. While it wouldn't ruin her image completely, it would certainly alter how her friends see her.
Her second secret, however, is one that she guards as if it was the holy grail. Because if it were to ever come out that she, Takumi Rio, were a stalker, she could never live it down. Now, she's not exactly the stand outside your window at night snapping pictures type, (all of her pictures have to have good lighting, duh!) but she doesn't waste her time at track team practice because she's dedicated to improving her hundred meter sprint. Not even so she can sit around shipping the sweat drenched boys, though that's undeniably a perk. No, she nearly kills herself for two hours a day for one reason. Usao Sohma. Yes, the girl is there in order to build her own romance straight out of one her favorite dramas, not. More like hovering around him in hopes that he'll notice her, and of course scaring off any potential competition. Like a guard dog, if the guard dog just randomly showed up one day, had a huge crush on it's owner, and an unusually strong love of strawberries.
