"Hello? Heellllllllooooo? Are you sure its on?"
[Talking in background]
"Alright! Shut up already! Morons... Good morning Arkham! Joker here! I hope they've been taking care of you while I've been away. I see they added a few extra locks on the doors... Boy, they sure wanna keep us down, huh? It's a shame really... All that planning... They put so much time into trying to keep us in here when truthfully, we view Arkham as a resort!"
[Joker laughs]
"Plans, plans, plans! They always have their plans... But see, the problem with their plan... Is that when you take an insane person to the asylum, you're just taking him home... The very place he knows best..."

"Edward! I'm shocked! I thought you and I were buddies! Now you're all chummy with Doctor Death? No offense, Crane" He smiled.
Humpty thought hard about how to answer her. If he said the wrong thing, she'd be concerned and he'd never get a moment alone. Maybe that was a good thing though... Humpty's cogs turned in his head.
"By talking to them of course. I've always wanted to help the inmates here. Piece their broken minds back together with the super glue that is positive thinking!" He faked, impressed at how cheery he could be. "Doctor Walker? Could I maybe sit in on a session with you sometime? Or maybe we could just talk, you know... Not in the situation. Maybe we could discuss Schrödinger's Cat Theory or Collective Consciousness? I've always been fascinated by the concept of a Hive Mind... But the other doctors... They don't believe I can understand things like that. Its like I can't play with anything Ages 10+, understand? But I'm intelligent" He explained, smiling warmly. "I just want a chance to get to know you better, Cadence" Humpty said kindly.
He blushed a bit.
"I think you're an amazing person, and I think if we talked about something else besides my thoughts, we could be friend. I want to learn about you. What kind of music do you like? Where did you grow up?" He said. "I'm sorry if I sounded cold earlier, I just realized today I want more from life. I want to be normal and talk to real people and have actual friends, not rejects that I'm tortured by..." Humpty motioned to the Rec Room.
He wiped a tear from his eye.
"I just want to be a real person, for once in my life" He said, pausing as something came to him. "Maybe I could work with you! With the prisoners, I mean! You can't know everything that goes on in Arkham, but I could fill in the holes for you! You'd know plans before they happen! You could even win an award for reforming people like me and Nygma! Would that be something you'd be interested in?" He asked sweetly.

"Clown, what of your plan? Tell me, how am I to make my toxin? It will take me about a week at least to recreate the formula into one the bat man is not immune to." He paused and sent a sharp look in the direction of the Clown Prince of Crime.
"This is allowing for two hours a day to actually make it, of course... I will also be in need of many ingredients, most not exactly legal, and a chemistry lab to utilize. How do you propose this happens? After all, you need this for your 'joke' to work..." The joke being the prank I presume. Scarecrow made himself known amongst Crane's thoughts.

He pushed Crane back into the chair, but remained standing, waiting for the Scarecrow to emerge from John Crane's head; he wanted to see something other than the smug expression on his face, anything but another smirk. If he pulled that "better than you" look one more time...
)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
"Daaamn!" Harley was in awe, she'd never seen the Riddler act so aggressively. Then again, she knew as a former psychologist that male aggression, when surpressed, tends to exponge itself in large doses. Maybe he'd just held it back for too long now. She watched the scene play out from the couch, clutching the back fabric in anticipation.

"Edward! I am impressed! Where have you been storing this wonderful rage all these years?" He asked, honestly amazed by his outburst.
Cash sat nearby, chuckling to himself.
"Better watch it Crane. Nygma is a street fightin man!" He thought for a moment. "Wait... Are you Irish, Nygma? I mean, you've got red hair" Aaron asked, confused.

"Is there a lot of drinkin' in your family?" Harley asked, hoping to dump a little gasoline on the fire.
"No." Edward answered curtly.
"Was there?" She pressed.
"No, no one drank much in my family. Was is that important?"
"Are they still around?" She continued.
"Why, Miss Quinnzell-" He used her full name, hoping to irritate her as much as he was irritating him. "are you so concerned with my familial status all of a sudden?"
"Just curious." She told him sweeply, bobbing her feet of the end of the couch like a teenager being grilled by her parents.

Crane felt Scarecrow smirk terribly and maliciously in his head. Why not, it would be boring to stop this now. It's not like you and I couldn't beat him. We are still in as good of shape as you were before they stuck us in this mad house. What's one more mad patient to subdue after all? Crane smirked his smug little 'I know something you don't' smirk. Simply to futher anger this madman, if nothing else. It's not like he was more physically fit than Crane. Simply one more mad patient, embodiment of unearthly strength due to unholy rage, to hold down. And nothing more...

In taking the tles one by one, he felt his resolve and hatred grow. His subconcious was telling him that he had to attackk, for his honor and dignity. But the logical center reminded him that he was in a madhouse, and if he attacked, he would be beaten down by forces he couldn't club to death with the leg of a plastic chair.
Harley let out a little squeak of delight when he had gone, leaping to her lover's side. Her whisper was enraptured. "Puddin, do you know what that much repressed raghe can do to a guy? We could have another Zsasz! Maybe worse, if he can keep his cognative thoughts going. Ohh, what if he killed Ol' Strawhead in his sleep with a pillow?" She was positivly giddy, dancing in a little primal circle around him and tossing her arms over his shoulders, kissing his cheek in pure joy.

"Well... See... I haven't heard the plan yet. They are planning something though. I'm saying, I can find out because they trust me... And then, I can tell you!" He explained with a smile.
Joker turned to Harley.
"Oh baby! You know I love it when you talk about mental disorders!" He chuckled, kissing her deeply.

"Which reminds me, for some inane reason, what exactly is your plan to give me time to create my toxin? Also how do you plan to obtain the necessary ingredients and workspace needed? I would like to know, if you please..." His tone left no doubt that he didn't care one way or another if the clown pleased or not, Crane would find out because it pleased him to know.
"Out with it Clown!" Crane's soft baritone had abruptly switched to Scarecrow's gravelly bass, even Scarecrow wanted to know- after all, soon enough he would get the chance to gas the bat man, perhaps even driving him mad with fear...

His face still neutral, he continued, " 'If not for my toxin,' clown-lacky? If not for my toxin the bat man would have condiderably less fears, that I am sure of at least. And plus, it is the only time any of us was able to hit the city in such a devestating way at one time. They even named it, 'Fear Night,' quite apt do you not think?"
Crane's words had double meanings, just like always, after all he wouldn't be a good doctor if he didn't twist the truth somtimes...

With this, she glanced over at the Joker and smile. "Speaking of fun, my Puddin' might've coaxed me to liberty, but I can still manage all the things in my head without him there. Isn't that right, Johnny-boy?" She stood, rather proud of herself, but waiting for the inevitable hard-blow that might come her way. It always seemed that when she was her happiest, something always went wrong.

And of course he has fears, all humans do - even I. And I did dredge them up, along with carefull cultivating more as I delved into and twisted the delicate psyche of the bat man. This made him grin slightly, soft enough that most couldn't see.
'And managing all the things in her head'? Well he truly did laugh at that. Perhaps it was because he was insane, or perhaps it was because he truly found it funny, or perhaps, it was because the other -crueler- personality was fighting to the surface, but he laughed. By God did that madman laugh. 'Twas the laugh of one who knows he has gone insane but can't quite accept what that really means- perhaps thinking that it only ment he was more intelligent than them all. After all, there is a thin line between brilliance and insanity, a line is a very dreadful thing to cross, don't you think?
Suddenly Crane's laughter, already somewhat disturbing from such a placid and stoic man, took a turn at hysterical, made a right on psychotic, and parked neatly on Unhinged Ave. Soon, though not soon enough for most everyone listening, Crane gathered himself and stood from his doubled over position he had aquired from laughing so hard, straightening his clothes and hair. He looked different somehow, wilder perhaps. Crane cast his eyes downwards, and none saw the flash in his eyes, shadows, it seemed, gathered on his face, giving him a dark and deeply evil - down to a very rotten and deranged core - brilliant in his own right, however. He tilted his head upward to meet his eyes to Quinzel's, his eyes oddly a clear give-away to his unbalanced mind.
Scarecrow's voice was deep and was truly a perverted version of Crane's own, darkened in a terrible way, "You wanna try me, girly?"

Re: [OOC] Arkham Asylum: Delirium
Okie dokie! There are tons of awesome villains still available, but if you want me to give you a loophole... I never said anything was wrong with making a original doctor/guard character and then having them slowly lose their minds to one of the inmates ;)
Like Joker did to Harley... You could become a new villain character!
Or hell... What if I just let you make an original villain? Would you be able to create one you feel comfortable with? As long as its not like someones son or daughter, it'd be fine :)
I think you'd be a good addition to the RP honestly. You seem very into the storyline
What do ya think?

If you ever change your mind, you're always welcome to come in at any time! We'd love to have you! Since its a hospital, your character can be admitted at any point during the RP :D

Well, have fun, guys!
Re: [OOC] Arkham Asylum: Delirium
@The Joker116 - I'm sorry :( There are plenty of other characters that are just as insane, if not crazier. What about Mad Hatter or Zsasz?
