Introduction
Death, the pact keeper.
The Pact(plot)
In an ancient time, when witches were hunted by brave paladins and heroes, Death, the creator of the Witches, or "Soul Collectors" made a pact with a handful of them, they would be eternal, immortal, If they always did as Death said. If Death was cheated, he would send his Witches to collect their soul. As long as they collect all of the required souls by the deadline they remain eternal. If not, Death will collect their soul. The pact is to remain at all time secret. But what will happen when a few of the Witches refuse death? Well it makes sense to send the other witches on a hunt for their souls.
Witches
Deaths minions, a usual misconception that they are women is wrong. Most witches are men, though female witches are more feared. These "Soul Collectors" have the given ability to absorb a soul upon death. Souls will make the witch stronger, unless it goes to death for collection. Any extra souls feed the witches power. All witches have somewhat different powers, they can all control some sort of energy, light, fire, electricity. And they can control some physical aspect of themselves; super human strength, super human speed, shape shifting. But every witch only has one of each, no witch is the same. (all witches can also teleport to anyplace they've seen, but only once a day.)
Witches rarely fight each other, but when they do, if a witches soul is absorbed by another witch, they gain their powers. If they absorb a Human soul that doesn't need to go to death they gain all their knowledge.
All these witches are still very young, in their twenties, or so it seems. They're all rich, being alive for hundreds of years give you plenty of time to make a successful business.

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 6 authors
"Daniel, when do you think we should get this done?" she asked him trying to get him involved with the meeting again. He seemed to have drawn into himself and she felt bad for him. Briefly she wondered why she never really saw any of the others outside of their assignments, she thought it was about time to change that. She hadn't been with this particular group of witches very long but knew that Blake was at least in the same age range as she was. Moving to sit crossed legged in her chair she thought about how she didn't know much of her team, she should change that.
βGuys, real sorry to break it up now when we're on a roll but I gotta get some air. Be back in a secβ Tristan flashed the room a rather fake smile noticing everyone seemed rather on edge but paid it no heed. The looks flashed his way made it very clear they knew he hadnβt been listening but frankly Tristan didnβt care.
Hurrying out of the room quickly Tristan walked quickly to a few blocks away breathing quickly. The descending fog in his head clearing Tristan grabbed for his pipe filling it. Damm Iβm nearly out well might as well restock as Iβm in the city. Tristan leaned back against the alley wall closing his eyes letting the air flow through him.
Tristan heard a soft shuffle about a street away wrapped around the stench of alcohol. Tristan smirked perfect. Tristan took of quietly walking into the next street then her saw her.
Late 40s defiantly, homeless and extremely drunk. She hadnβt noticed Tristan as she was trying to light a cigarette with shaky hands. Smiling sadly Tristan walked over to her quietly taking her hands. She raised her head, her eyes unfocused. βShush, itβs all right Iβll take it all awayβ her head titled back as Tristan drained her soul out of her easing her into a deep sleep, one she would never wake from.
Tristan lowered her body gently to the floor, she would be found in the morning. Tragically died of an overdose or something. It wasnβt like anyone would care.
Tristan walked towards an old oak tree, standing rather awkwardly in the street. Sitting under it Tristan closed his eyes twisting his hand in a figure of eight. The leaves of the tree fell gently twisting in the air around Tristan. The soul Tristan had taken earlier was released into the air hovering amongst the leaves.
Tristan twisted his hand concentrating on the soul carefully, forcing it into the leaves with a final flick of the wrist the leaves collected in the bowel of Tristanβs pipe. Well thatβll last me about a week Tristan thought leaning against the tree, smoking.
I wonder what we all agreed too Tristan smiled softly Iβm sure someone will tell me. A couple of blocks away Tristan heard the thud of feet on the pavement.
Well the peace was nice while it lasted.
Daniel waited another moment before speaking again " Let them have One last game Before they Die maybe? I don't know. " He spoke aloud once more but didn't return to his seat, being still partially irradiated with what just happened before.
βGuys, real sorry to break it up now when on a roll but I gotta get some air. Be back in a secβ "Thats one more to the count." Daniel said to the remaining four witches after Tristan Left.

Alessandra Chase was angry at everything. She was being naive, young, and emotional. She was acting like a child. So her so-called choice of friends was not as she expected. It didn't matter. Why did she care for the normal boy she nearly drained this night? That did not matter at the moment. She was a witch working for Death. Allie had tried one last chance to act like she was normal, but she always knew it would never work. She was angry at herself for acting so. Alessandra gritted her teeth before walking back into the meeting room. Her face was emotionless, her eyes dark and sharp she looked at nothing. Her movements were smooth and graceful, not that of what she was really feeling.
Alllie sat back in her chair and her posture and the air around her was screamed predator. She was an experienced witch just like the rest of them in different ways, and it was time she reminded herself (and them) of how fatal she could be to the vulnerable ones in this world.
Somehow, when she sat down, she realized that she might just be a souless creature compared to the others. Castile was strong, and practical, while Annette was insightful. She on the otherhand could be cruel and aggressive when it wasn't needed, she never really cared for her actions either. She was just a loose cannon. She was dangerous and unpredictable to friends and enemies. Alessandra sat silently commanding her brain to contemplating the death of these 'Heros.'
Blake got up. He zipped up his pale grey/blue hoodie. He felt a little cold, in more ways than one. "Not here though," Blake said with a slight shiver. "maybe the bar, down town." Blake then disappeared in a low glow of blue, then a puff of smoke.
Blake appeared in his room. He kicked his shoes off and dived into his bed. He closed his eyes but couldn't sleep. he was too busy thinking... His mind kept thinking of the argument. They had never even done anything like that. he feared someone would turn. It wouldn't be good.
Alessandra was pissed. She was just a muzzled dog barking at passing strangers. She was contained, caged and chained. Completely harmless in her current state. She watched Blake leave and when she did, she couldn't help but let out a breath that she didn't know she'd been holding. "Finally..." With that she was out of the door walking down the street ignoring the mob of drunken idiots on the alley across. She glared at them, her green eyes blazing with an unnatural sparkle that made them back away with awe and fear. Mudanes. Allie turned to walk away and paused to realize she didn't have anywhere to go. She didn't sleep, never. Not ever since she became what she was now. She could spend the night at one of the other witchs... "Aw, hell."
Allie scrunched up her face too deep in thought to care about how she was standing in the middle of the street, at night, by herself. She had money and some apartments that were being rented out to make more money, but she had never actually bought her own estate or a home she could stay at by herself.
She had foolishly moved into a dorm room she shared with a chinese girl too silent even for Allie. Besides, her room-mate had clearly stated that tonight was her night. Meaning she got the room to herself all night, what for, Allie didn't want to know. Alessandra would need to spend the night somewhere. Even if she didn't sleep, she needed shelter and... Food. She despised looking to the other witchs for help and now here she was ready to make a house call. Allie sighed and concentrated on where she needed to go. Instead of disappearing like Blake did, there was a flash of light at her center that blinked and she disappeared almost somehow looking as if she was sucked into it.
Alessandra Chase appeared in Blake's room, her eyes adjusted quickly to the sight of Blake in his bed. She silently picked up a shoe she found and threw it at him. "Get up!"
"You can come cuddle up with me in my bed," Blake smiled. "or you can use the guest room." Blake said as he crawled back into his bed and adjusted the blankets. "In the hall, to the left, next door." Blake said as he laid back down. "And if you're planning on staying here for a longer time, don't worry. I've been looking for a roomie. Just buy some groceries every once and a while." Blake yawnd.
Castiel frowned, listening to the children bickering. It was like this every time, one of them would be stubborn or have a different idea. Actually, the stubborn one was usually her, so this was a bit new for her. Now, it didn't exactly bother her. But she would much rather be in bed at that moment. Alessandra ended up standing and leaving, and Cas sent her off with a lovely good riddance, bitch. So you could say she wasn't the most thrilled with the girls quick reappearance. Same as always though, she wasn't required to be friends with her and the first chance she got, Cas would probably stab her in the back. Literally or figuratively... she was still trying to figure out. There was no doubt that Cas could get this done herself, any of the witches in the room could take on these tasks by themselves. Death must have a reason for making them stick together.
People began leaving, leaving only Daniel, Annette, and herself in the room. This was when she finally rose from her seat, uncrossing her legs and softly stepping back onto the cold floor. She was tempted to shift, just because it would be easier to get back to her bike if she could run as fast as a cheetah or something of the likes. But she didn't yet, and probably wouldn't until she got back outside. After stretching, she turned to the other two witches and offered a small wave. "See ya' guys." and she turned and left. On her way back to her bike she saw Tristan, and gave him a similar goodbye as she had the other two. When she reached her bike, she didn't return home. Instead she pushed it onto the sidewalk and shifted into a grey and white husky dog. There was no way that she was going to get sleep after this, so she might as well spend her time wandering around town.
The whole night had not gone the way she expected it to and now she was tired. Stretching as she looked off into the distance sky she noticed the sun still hadn't started to light the sky, she still had enough night left to get some decent sleep. Even though her bed room had black out curtains she still found it difficult to get a restful sleep during day light hours.
Annette began the short walk back to her car, her hands in her pocket. She held onto the hilt for comforts sake not that she felt she would actually need it. She was almost to her car when she saw Tristan leaning against a tree, she'd have to pass by him to get to her car. Stopping in front of him she tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. "Meeting adjourned, we meet up again tomorrow." Annette said her tone tired with an edge of boredom while she watched the smoke from his pipe dance and swirl in the air.
He focused on His home and Darkness Swirled around him. The Darkness Disappeared and So did Daniel. Moment's later The darkness reappeared Swirling in front of his Door and then the Darkness Disappeared once more and Daniel was there.
Now I know why I hate Traveling.... Every Time I hear Travel it Reminds me of this weird Feeling. He had felt like there Were June Bugs flying up his body while underneath his Skin. Quickly he Ran upstairs, walking Phasing through his Door and laying down on his Bed, Closing his eyes. His Dog Jumped up on his Bed and Laying down Beside him Coiled almost. "Yeah I missed you too." The dog then Closed it's Eyes. Satisfied with his Words.
Alessandra glared at Blake, ignoring the unexpected feeling of finding pleasure in frightening Blake. "I don't sleep, nor do I cuddle Zeus." She cocked her head, "I thought soul collectors can't sleep. Huh. I guess its just me." She walked out of the room as silently as she appeared in Blake's room. She found the corridor empty and wandered about until she found the kitchen. She opened the refrigerator and stared at its contents before deciding that ice cream would be good. Allie picked it up only to feel the weightlessness in it. She opened the box, realizing that it was empty. "Cruel, evil-doer, nasty person, sick joker..." On it went, Allie blurting out negative words that somehow seemed morbid yet funny.
Allie threw the box in the trash and went back, scavenging out some grapes, and milk. An odd mixture. She sat down at the table and began to pull out her wallet, and spilled out her things. There was some cash, her I.D. and other cards for stores. She began to cut them up and stopped at her recent driver's card staring at her picture and the name that went with it. "Goodbye Alexandra Cooper." She cut it up to and threw the cut up peices in the trash along with a picture of her, Sam, Sasha and other people.
Alessandra walked over to her seat and began to eat her snack, thoughts on the boy she almost drained earlier.
Alessandra looked stonily at Blake and listened but when he was done speaking she popped a grape in her mouth. "So how old do you have to be to get over this long term insomnia?" Then she cocked her head again. "How old are you?" She asked the qustion bluntly not caring about human manners. She also noted that the cookie jar was above the fridge. Allie was curous about the creature before her, and she still had some qustions she's been holding for awhile. She took one cookie and dipped it in the milk before biting into it. She chew quietly, her thoughts on the years she saw. Allie was the youngest of the group but she certainly wasn't that young. What she didn't know was why she can't sleep even after she's passed the years of a novice collector. "I've existed here for approximately 148 years." A mentor-like person had showed up the day she signed the pact and told her some stuff and said that after existing for 58 years you started sleeping again.
There was quite for a little while then Tristan heard a new set of footsteps, light defiantly female mildly annoyed ah Annette. Tristan flicked her eyes upwards and smiled at Annette. "Meeting adjourned, we meet up again tomorrow." She said in a bored voice flicking the smoke coming out of his pipe.
Tristan smirked tilting his head to the side flicking his left hand. The bluish smoke twisted into butterflies, twisting around Annetteβs head. Smiling βThat bad huh, sorry I left I just had to erm get some air. I donβt do very well inside stone walls you see. But never mind me how are you Annette?β
"I'm actually pretty tired, it's so annoying to not get a good nights rest and then to top it off we didn't really make much progress." shifting from her right to left foot she looked past Tristan to her car. Annette was missing her bed, it was a lovely commissioned piece that hung from the ceiling covered in silk sheets, a suede comforter and plush pillows.
"So I'm head home now, do you want a ride anywhere?" she gestured towards her car. She didn't know where Tristan lived but she didn't mind giving him a ride home if he wanted one, or anywhere else really.

βSo you liked the butterflies then maybe you could make your own withβ¦fire wasnβt it. Well you know what they say thereβs no smoke without fire so it appears your stuck with meβ Tristan winked again then chuckled βIβm only teasing you know gods knows we could use a laugh.β
Tristan eyed Annette thoughtfully βdonβt you find it strange that after all these meetings most of us barely know each other. Itβs even stranger none of us ever asked. I wonder whyβ¦β Tristan trailed of thoughtfully βitβs probably nothingβ.
Unless something wants us to keep apartβ¦or someone.
"You should be fine." Blake said. Blake finished his cookie and he yawned. "Another way to get you to sleep without nightmares... I have an idea... You may not like it..." Blake trailed off. "If you slept in my room, I could go into your mind. I could somewhat control your dreams so they don't turn into nightmares." Blake told her. "Just an idea though." Blake said.

Strange how she remembered so little about her life before this... living nightmare.
"So what do you say? Want to close your eyes and see true dreams?" Blake asked.

Alessandra began to eat the cookies, when she opened the door to the guest room. There she surveyed the room. It was small, cramped and dusty. She sighed and sat on the bed, her arms hugging her knees to her chest while she tried to sit against the wall. Allie lay her head on her knees and closed her eyes.
Sleep. Sleep. She tried to catch the elusive blackness but was only able to lull herself into a weak version of sleep. Any noise could wake her.
