Avolair Academy: Academy for the Supernatural

0 INK

Avolair Academy is home to supernatural beings of all kinds. They are also a top of the line school which promises great education, but on the side of teaching students to master their powers, they are hiding a secret that their students are in danger.

2,345 readers have visited Avolair Academy: Academy for the Supernatural since Temperance created it.

Introduction

Avolair Academy
(My second time making this RP, made it on my main account, and restarting it again)

Avolair Academy appears to be your everyday, average boarding school. It looks as if the rich are housed here, pampered, and given the best treatment and education around. Okay, so perhaps some of that is true, however, Avolair Academy is a school for the supernatural. Not only the supernatural but anyone who possesses magic goes here. They are not allowed to apply, they are invited - there are some exceptions however. Here they are taught how to use their abilities, given the best education around, from teachers who have been around forever, and are able to participate in tournaments to test their abilities. The school can seem chaotic due to the mass amount of different types of students, and often times there are fights among different races, but now and then there are those moments where they co - exist peacefully. Outside of the academy, there are those known as hunters, whom the students have not been informed about. They are like bounty hunters whom are supposed to bring back the dead bodies (or body parts) of the supernatural for money. Though there are some that insist on purely torturing and toying with them. The school tries its best to keep said people away, but their number grows by the day.

While at the academy students do not hear from or see their loved ones, unless they are in the academy themselves. They are stripped of all personal electronics (though the school has its own electronics such as computers, lounge televisions) but things like cellphones and ipods and dvd players or game consoles are forbidden (with the exception of the game club - no one knows how that's there, everyone believes a teacher is behind it.) There is a large amount of land surrounding the academy, and students live in dorms having one or two dormmates. They do not choose their dorm mates and see them on the first day.

Many secrets lurk about this academy, but no one knows if they are true...

Vampires

Type A: Type A vampires are your basic sensitive to sunlight, garlic, die by the stake vampires. The need to drink blood every so often to even stay alive, and they are pale in complexion. They often have a great sense of smell and are very agile and quick on their feet.

Type B: Type B vampires are like type A vampires but have went so often without blood, that they have become emotionally unstable. They are violent when hungry, even if it is not in their nature, and they are stronger in physical strength when hungry than normal vampires. The downside is they are hungry way more often, and their bite is extremely painful. It is rumored that when on the brink of death, the males can poison with their fangs when they bite - regardless of if that was their intention.

Type C: Type C vampires are like backwards vampires. They are extremely rare as well. They are not sensitive to sun, they don't dislike garlic, and a stake is not their natural enemy. They are like that of humans except one thing. They need to bite - to give blood. They need to get rid of excess blood every so often or they fall ill and throw up blood or get extreme bloody noses. These vampires are able to read emotions of those they bite and their bite is said to feel nothing but amazing.

Werewolves

Type A: These werewolves are like shape shifters, they change at will into their werewolf or dog like form, and at will they change back. They have a great amount of endurance, stamina, are quick on their feet, and are always warm.

Type B: These werewolves only change during the full moon, however they are much stronger than type A when in their wolf form. They are natural lovers of the night, and also heal quickly in their wolf form.

Demons

Type A: The only type of demon, they do not have wings like some people think. They have a good amount of strength and heightened senses. They are good fighters when it comes to darkness and shadows. The night is often their friend. Most of the time they are cunning or deceitful.

Succubus/incubus

Type A: Type A is your stereotypical female (or male) that attracts the opposite sex and is often times able to get them to do things just by talking to them. They are alluring to anyone of the opposite sex, even if they don't want to be. They are always attractive, and they have heightened senses, voices like silk, and their touch is always warm.

Type B: It is extremely rare, but type b is somewhat like that of type A, except they attract the same sex, and REPEL the opposite sex.

Zombies

Type A: Type A zombies look like normal humans, however they cannot be in the light or they will slowly burn. They were people once human, who died and were brought back to life by a necromancer. Zombies are the walking dead and thus cannot die - ever. They never appear to age. They are physically strong though a little fragile. They do fail pain when injured, though the heal themselves over time even if decapitated.

Type B: Type B zombies are like zombies you see in horror movies. They ARE the dead, scary, creepy, slow and slow talkers as well. Hard to understand, not easy on the eyes.

Ghosts

Type A: Type A ghosts look like humans, humans that cannot be touched and cannot touch anything. They do not age, they are already dead, and have no special traits.

Type B: Type B ghosts cannot be seen, they are like spirits, you hear them, maybe you feel them, but you never see them.

Witch/Wizards

Type A: Type A wizards need some sort of item like a wand, pendant, or etc to use magic. Without it they are rendered useless. They know certain types of spells in which they must recite to cast - they are otherwise human.

Type B: Type B wizards do not need anything to cast their magic, but do recite spells just like type A wizards - they are otherwise human.

Type C: Type C wizards do not need to recite anything, nor do they need an item, their magic ranges from many things, but they are known to lose energy quickly due to their amount of power. They are your massive damagers, but constant fighting is not their forte.

Alchemists

Type A: Alchemists are your everyday humans who tamper with items, potions, your general alchemy to create misc magical like creatures or objects. They are otherwise human.

Necromancers

Type A: Type A necromancers are able to ressurect the dead. They are able to bring someone back to life thus making them a zombie, kill a zombie which they have ressurected (the only way to kill them.) Or, give a ghost a body. If someone has been long dead, they can temporarily control them. They are otherwise human.

Type B: Type B necromancers are able to kill any undead, and bring them back as their eternal slave. These are extremely rare.

Dark Magicians

Type A: Type A uses dark and forbidden magic which is often dangerous to not others but its caster. They work with magic regarding shadows, darkness, blood, and poison. It is not rare for them to die due to their magic.

Type B: Type B uses lost magic, overpowered single shot spells, some which have the power to even kill someone. Every time they cast one of these spells, their life span shortens and they become more and more emotionally and physically fragile.

Hunters

Perfectly human, hunters are haters of supernatural beings and humans who use and possess magic. Their sole purpose is to hunt and kill them, and often bring them back for an award. Depending on if they work alone, or for an organization, their rules and morals vary.

Groups

Naturally within the school walls, groups have been formed amongst the students. Most of them without staff or teachers knowing about it. Some are perfectly innocent while others are dangerous.

RAW: RAW is for people that believe those with natural given superior power should rule the school. They have a desire to over throw the head of the school and take over making it their own.

Misfits: The trouble makers of the school, though most of what they do involves petty crimes, bullying, and your everyday fight - they have the potential to be dangerous , though nothing compared to RAW.

Guardians: This grouped formed after hearing about RAW and Misfits. They make it their duty to protect anyone in harms way, and try to make sure the school stays unharmed. They don't have a good reputation, as many people think them stupid and childish.

The Covenant: A group formed by creatures of the night, they pose no threat, and are just looking for acceptance and comfort amongst their kind. Some people - usually humans, get the wrong impression.

Teach: A small group dedicated to teaching people how to better use their powers.

BLOOD: No one knows, but everyone wants to. Wherever these people go, they leave words written in HUMAN blood.

Rankings (do not apply to humans):

Pureblood: People born within a family of pure (insert creature) blood - does not apply to human types. They are often powerful, and usually feared. They posses the most money, usually have followers, and always a protector.
Nobles: Second after purebloods. They are strong as well but not as much so, they come from money but not as much as a pure blood.
Basic: Your everyday, average (insert creature here.)
Misfit: The bottom of the line, weakest, often tossed aside. Their kind usually hates them, as their blood is 'dirty.'

Guardians:

Every pureblood needs a guardian, often times nobles are their guardians, or very skilled humans. Guardians usually protect that of their own race - again, unless they are human or hybrid.

Hybrids

You are only allowed to hybrid two races together, they may not be overpowered. I will only allow three hybrids, and they must have good character sheets and information.

College

College schedules are more lenient, and since you choose more major, you are going to get to make up your classes. Your schedule is not the same as high school students, and you pick the times and days you want to go to school.

Race heads

Race heads are the purebloods of their race, whom lead and watch over their kind. They are not voted as head, but simply get there based on power. These people have some control over their race the others would not.

(It is not completely neccessary, to have a race head, though. Not applicable to humans.)

Vampire head:
Werewolf head:
Demon head:
Zombie head:
Ghost head:
Succubus/incbus head:

School hierarchy:

The school has a ranking system in which some special students are assigned to. These students have some power over the school almost like the school government, but different. They are meant to keep people in line, if they have good intentions, that is.

King [Has the most power over the school, though sadly is not always filled in about the dangers that surround it]: Lance
Queen [Aid to the king]: Allura
Jack [Aid to the kind and queen, their to do person and messenger]: Ziva
Ace [Somewhat the same ranking as Jack, but as able to get bossed around by them]:

Pawn [Somewhat of a personal slave and snitch]:
Pawn [Somewhat of a body guard]:

Tournaments

There are different types of tournaments that take place different times of the year, every student is required to attend the tournaments even if they aren't in them, as guests. However, some tourneys are mandatory to test progress of students. As prizes students receive trophies and it is considered a high honor amongst the school.

Types of tournaments:

Singles:

Tourney A: Your basic by elimination singles tournament [Mandatory]
Tourney B: Survival, everyone against everyone, last man standing wins. [By choice (though must be in ONCE within their whole stay at the school.)]
Tourney C: Target practice- the students must hit targets that go further and further. Highest score wins. [By choice]
Tourney D: Usually the smallest tourney - Spotlight- students with magic appealing to the eye compete in a non violent way, showcasing their magic. Most skilled and attractive wins. [By Choice]
Tourney E: Obstacle course of sorts - changes every time. Can be physical obstacles, as well as monsters, creatures, or people in your way. Considered dangerous.[By selection of school committee.]

Teams:

Tourney A: Your basic elimination match, but in teams. Sometimes chosen at random, sometimes chosen by students. [Mandatory]
Tourney B: This is a teachers vs students match. An often favorite. [By choice]

Glory heard a new voice cut through her concentration on the negative energy. At first, she thought she'd ignore her instinct to observe the newcomer, since the teacher would certainly start the exercise soon and she wanted a decent store of negative energy. But she thought better of it, knowing it would be to her advantage to learn as much as she could about the potential friend or foe. After he made his way to her vicinity, she turned her gaze on him and was surprised to find he was nearly a foot taller than her. She noted the strength of his body, his trim muscles clearly the result of a sword skill, and slowly moved her eyes to his face. Glory recognized him as Scott, a wizard in her year. Her eyes boldly met his, surprised she had not studied their unique color before. Glory realized she had studied him longer than she had intended, and turned to Jason upon hearing his rash judgment of herself and Allura. Glory considered intervening in the incubus' attempt to turn Scott against them, but decided Scott would be able to judge for himself. Glory turned sharply back to the door, hearing something fall in the hall. She watched the soaking boy walk in, and nodded her head to him after he introduced himself. She didn't recognize him, he must have just transferred. Glancing back towards Allura, she let a half smile curl her lips at hearing the girl's impatience.

Then the room started to change. The challenge had begun. The mist curled around her legs and she felt the energy she was holding pop into non-existence. Anger flooded her senses, followed quickly by fear. Were they fighting something that could tap into her dark energy? But then she couldn't feel the dark energy around her at all. It was gone. She hadn't realized it before, but she was always aware of the energy around her and her ability to tap into it at will. Suddenly she felt horribly exposed and helpless. Just when a feeling of panic began to plague her mind, she felt a surge of awareness and her head began to ache horribly. She put both hands to her head and tried to keep it from exploding. She attempted to listen, hearing Mr. Lee's voice. He said, "Magic has many forms, and you must learn to control magic, even if it's not yours." Glory cringed, feeling nothing but an aching head. Whose powers could she have possibly adopted? Then she felt a tangled blackness on the barrier of her mind. It made an awful noise that only made her head ache worse. She steadied herself, seeing a the monster manifest in front of her and Allura.

As the wind picked up, pelting hail and rain onto her face and skin, Glory realized she could feel the beast's intentions, and they weren't good. She also felt a sort of glamor, like she had some kind of film between herself and the outside. Glory sighed, she had the incubus' power. It would be handy for feeling when the beast would attack, but otherwise, she doubted the beast would fall prey to seduction. Its mind was too chaotic and didn't form coherent thoughts. She would have to attack without magic. It wouldn't be so impossible, she had done it before. But as she tugged on her sweater sleeves, she realized the wrist blades were gone. Glory almost growled in anger. But she checked her emotions, deciding she was well versed enough in martial arts to take the creature down by hand. And there was always Allura, but she wouldn't let her have all the fun.

Glory then felt the beast summoning magic, and aiming it at Allura. "Allura!" She shouted, but realized her attempt was futile. Her new ability to read the monster's intentions allowed only a small warning didn't grant enough time for her to verbalize what she felt. Then she felt the beast turn its attention to her. She was able to evade with ease, flipping and whirling in a graceful dance as the monster attempted to hit them with its magic. She was glad Mr. Lee couldn't remove her reaction time, strength, speed, and agility.

Glory felt the head ache subside as she concentrated on her strategy. She needed to get close to it, which wouldn't be too difficult. But she wasn't sure she could badly injure the monster with her hands alone. It was an unfamiliar beast and its anatomy was completely foreign. The pressure points she was accustomed to targeting would prove useless. She looked back to Allura, seeing she had some how acquired a blade and a shield. Glory sighed in exasperation. She saw Allura rush the monster, evading a bone crushing smash and managing to rip a few generous cuts into the monster's arm and torso. Glory saw the opportunity and ran towards the monster's front, taking advantage of its concentration on Allura. She jumped high, executing a perfect layout, and landed on the creature's shoulders with her arms around the its thick neck, attempting to break it.
"Think you can conjure me a sword there, Allura?" Glory asked through gritted teeth, realizing the creatures neck was too thick to break by hand. But when she turned her attention to Allura, she missed the creature's decision to turn on her. It threw her roughly from its shoulders and Glory attempted to recover but her footing was unbalanced. The creature was on her before she could evade, and it clamped its claws into her shoulders, blood pooling slowly at the entrance of the wounds. The creature roared victoriously into her face. giving her a full view of rotting teeth as long as her arms. Glory felt the monster grappling with the decision to eat her or simply dismember her. She took advantage of its distraction but kneeing it roughly in the wounds on its torso and moving her arms against the wounds in her shoulders. The beast howled in pain and concentrated on pinning her legs. The white hot pain lanced through her limbs, but got a grip on one of the long canines, and ripped it from the monster's mouth before it realized she was aiming for its gaping maw.

The wound she inflicted in its mouth forced the beast to withdraw its claws quickly and painfully as she retreated, still holding the sharp tooth. Glory felt the blood flow freely, coursing down her arms and made her way back to Allura, hearing the angry beast thrashing angerly behind her.
"Never mind. Got one." She said with a slight smirk, holding the canine up in explanation. Glory felt giddy with the adrenalin surge from her wounds, but she knew it would be gone quickly.
"I'm not going to last long. One of us needs to hold its attention while the other goes for the head." Glory stated simply, but breathlessly. She could already feel a cold sweat gathering at the back of her neck. "I got the incubus' powers, and I can sense some of his intentions. I'll distract, you kill it." Without waiting for what was sure to be a smart ass reply, Glory readied her weapon and ran back the way she came. The monster had recovered and was already spewing damaging magic, the winds and rain running wildly, a small tornado forming behind them. Glory rushed the monster, enticing and withdrawing, evading and baiting, with all the grace and ease as if she were the ebb and flow of water. But her movements were quickly slowing, her strength diminishing, and the well aimed strikes with her fang-weapon were getting increasingly sloppy. She was fading fast.

"An Abomination! Are you crazy? You just can't stitch a few corpses together and give it a false soul unless you want it to kill anything in its path! Unless this technique is like my eye, well two can play like that!" Jason yelled describing his, Scott's, and Aiden's monster who was green along with larger then the version of the other teams monster and used his favorite power, The eye of Irunar. This power could still be used since it was a fully personalized ability that just about anyone could use if they were told how by Jason. The green monster appeared to have a large axe and club which he raised into the air.

"Ow! Ah! Help!" Jason screamed as the Abomination sliced him in half.. Jason fell to the ground as the abomination smashed Scott and Aiden to the ground as he stomped on Jason. "Me win!" The monster roared waving his arms in the air and breathing a green smog around the white area. "Well it seems that you kids lost, to think you lasted this long and made it past high school. You are all pathetic." The teacher laughed with a smug look on his face back in the classroom.

What a depressing dream you thought up teach. I have to say you seemed so proud when you were back at class but you didn't notice my power come into play. Jason's voiced boomed out of no where and the white area came back to the teachers mind. The monster was standing in the middle of the area and was being tortured by four incubi. "Scott, Aiden kill it while I have it stunned!" Jason yelled in his normal tone in the dream area looking over to the others to kill the Abomination.

Azymus stood silently at the far end of the hallway, Rookwood perfectly motionless next to him. He had managed to escape to start his break early to see how his sister's first class went. Social Studies. Obviously he was risking her wrath, checking on her after her first class, but his fraternal instincts had been nagging at him since he last saw her and he was not going to ignore them.

The door to the social studies classroom opened and the noise of highschool freshmen going to their next class filled the corridor, followed shortly by the freshmen themselves. Azymus and his guardian drew more than a few curious glances from the passing students, Azymus also got quite a few blushing stares from some of the girls and one happy smile and nod from the only girl he was looking for. Relieved, he smiled and nodded back, waved to Annabel further down the hall then turned to go back to the training courtyard.

Satisfied now Azymus? he thought to himself She has Annabel, she doesn't need you constantly looking over her shoulder, she doesn't need you at all.

"She'll always need her big brother Azymus" Rookwood said, startling Azymus out of his thoughts.

"How do you do that?"

"I've known you all your life, I know how you think"

"That's just creepy, you know that right?"

"Stop trying to change the subject"

Azymus sighed, then chuckled slightly in rememberence, before turning curious eyes back to Rookwood, "She's old enough to handle most things and she has Annabel to help her with everything else, what does she need me for?"

"She needs you to be her brother, sure Annabel can protect her from just about anything, but she can't grow if she's being constantly shielded from everything. You've been here long enough to know how things are done, you can help by making sure she doesn't have to always look over her shoulder or have Annabel hold her hand. You're the Scion of Evanclear and the Werewolf Race-head, you can't think of anything to protect her from afar?"

Azymus walked in contemplative silence all the way back to the courtyard, occasionally looking sideways at Rookwood or nodding to himself. When they arrived back at his space, Azymus finally looked like he had come to an internal decision and looked at his guardian and friend with a smile. "Thanks Rookwood"

"You are welcome My Lord" he said as he drew his blade "Prepare yourself" then he lunged.

Azymus had his broadsword out in a flash and the sound of metal-on-metal echoed around the courtyard. Azymus have a grim half-smile and pressed the attack.

Alright I guess I will see you there, But I have runes tonight and Magic mastery for the rest of the day with the mean queen and some Glory girl. Idk, they both are avoiding me so 'they don't get trapped under my spells', as if they aren't even hot! But Lisa you remember Lisa right? Well she was totally hot!

Lance was sitting on the Park Bench, in the Rain. It wasn't like he cared anyway, I mean, he was drenched as, it wasn't like he would get any wetter. He laughed as he read Jason pay out Allura and that Glory girl. I mean, sure Allura was mean, and she could seem stuck up at times, but she isn't actually that bad. Lance had somehow managed to gain a Love-Hate Relationship with her, but like Jason said, she probably wouldn't become one of his real Friends due to his Incubus Genes. Lance definitely remembered Lisa, wait.... Uhh....

"Whoa, Mind Blank or what.... Lisa.... Lisa.... Lisa..... uhh.... Yeah I got nothin."

Lance stood, the Rain splashing onto the Monitor of his iPhone. He looked up, wondering where His only remaining relative was, was Alex, no... Was this... Monster, dead? Or was he simply biding his time, and then would he sudenly lash out and finish what he'd started. A sudden wave of Paranoia hit Lance like a Truck that was speeding down a Highway at 400 km/h. He looked around, trying to see in the Fog that was brought on by the Rain. He caught sight of a Figure and jumped, shock bouncing through him like a Lightning Strike. He quickly realised that the Figure was nothing more than a Student. Lance sighed, he'd been on edge lately, after all, his Brother could strike at any moment, as Lance knew that he would do anything to get to Lance.

He'd even hurt Lance's Friends....

Lance felt the force tug at his will, and he knew that Lazarus was responding to his anger and fear. Lance grabbed his chest as a spasm shot through him, and he fell to his knees. His head touched the ground, he had no choice. No Choice.

No choice. No choice. No choice. No choice. No choice. No choice. No choice. No choice. No choice. No choice. No choice. No choice. No choice. No choice. No choice. No choice. No choice. No choice. No choice. No choice. No choice. No choice. No choice. NO CHOICE...............

"NO!"

Another spasm went through him, and it sent him onto his stomach, dulling his senses and forcing him to make a Decision.... Lance was vaguely aware of the rain, and he was it was to only thing keeping him conscious. Eventually the pain passed, and Lance sat on his knees, wondering why the Spasms had stopped suddenly. Lance grabbed his phone, which had been flung from his hands as the First Spasm hit. He quickly brought up the screen and texted Jason.

"Dude, you know those Spasms I get when Lazarus tries to get out of wherever he is? I just had some more, and they were the worst I've had in ages."

Lance stopped writing for a second as a Red dot appeared on the iPhones Screen, which he instinctively wiped away. Unlike thee pixels that die suddenly, the liquid was rubbed away with ease. Lance realised that he was bleeding. Again. Stupid Spasms make him vomit up blood involuntarily.

Lance continued to type.

"Ugh, now I'm spewing up more f*cking blood. Why does this always happen? It's annoying as hell... Anyway, I'll be at Maths soon, I just need to get myself cleaned up. -_-"

Lance pressed the send button. He looked around to make sure that no one saw him and felt for his Necklace. It must be in my shirt, he thought, and, in the smallest rays of the Sun, he glimpsed something shining in the Grass. Lance walked over to it and picked it up.

The Nausea hit him like a Train. The thing that he was holding in his hands, was his Necklace. Then, everything went Dark...

--------------------------------------------------------------

Lazarus stepped out of the boys subconscious, and proceeded to take control of his body. Lazarus opened his eyes, no, not his eyes, but the eyes of his Host. Lazarus was aware that he had finally been given the chance he had been waiting for. Lazarus stood, feeling the ground beneath his feet. He let his eyes roam around the buildings, and let his skin take in the touch of the icy rain. Lazarus knew that his counterpart had a Class, he could feel it. All Lazarus had to do was extract the information, then proceed to class.

It took him a few minutes, but eventually Lazarus found what he was looking for. He had Maths. Lazarus pulled the details from his memory, and he eventually remembered where he had to be. He took a few steps and felt an odd sensation. He felt... alive! He breathed in the fresh air and felt the cool aroma of fresh air fill his lungs. He felt good, better than he had felt in a while. He took more steps, getting reused to the feeling of walking. His muscles ached for some reason, but Lazarus didn't care. He was too taken up in the euphoria of being free.

It took him a few minutes but Lazarus had made his way to his Maths classroom. He stepped inside and laughed slightly at the fact that it seemed too stretch infinitely in all directions, obviously it was some of the Teachers Magic. Lazarus laughed even harder when Jason told the others to Attack it. Lazarus simply walked over to it. "What an interesting creature we have here, don't you agree Jason? Wait... surely you remember me, I mean, you did help me fight off that pathetic Brother of mine. You see, the Necklace is gone, Jason. and I have control."

The Creature smacked away at the Incubi and Succubi that surrounded it, knocking them out pretty fast. The creature was slow, but it was devastatingly powerful. Lazarus grinned at the Beast, but then he laughed. He had really expected more from Lance's 'Teacher'. I mean, he was a Teacher after all, wasn't he?

Lazarus had tired of this game, and he was eagerly thinking of things he cold do. One idea amused him. A lot. Lazarus walked up to the Teacher, and gave him a good whack across the face with his fist. Then two more. And then another, and then one final one. Then another. Then one last punch. Then one more. Okay, this punch was the last one. Ah screw it, one more couldn't hurt. Well, it couldn't hurt Lazarus at least.

Lazarus was happy with what he'd just done, and hopped away from the monster before it could whack him. Lazarus grinned, and held up the Necklace, which he immediately threw away. He laughed, and the laughter was dark and deep, and pretty darn capable of inducing nightmares to almost anyone. The sound soon rose, turning into a high pitched cackle.

Lazarus turned to Jason, a look of glee in his eyes. He laughed again, and spoke:

"So Jason, how do you expect to get you friend back?"

Amy sat there with her head on her desk, feeling really embarrassed. She heard someone talking and when she looked up she noticed Traril was talking to her. She looked at him for a few minutes then smiled "Yeah i know, happens to me all the time" She slightly laughed while scratching the back of her head. She smiled and observed him "So your a necromancer, right? I thought Mako was the only necromancer" She looked a bit confused and scratched her head thinking. She looked back at him "Oh i'm Amy, nice to meet you" She said with a small cute small, putting her hand out to see if he would shake it. "Ooo, I bet you can't guess what I am! Nobody ever got it right" She smiled, looking proud for some reason. "Oh, and whats your name?" She looked at him, Amy was the type of person that could talk about 5 different things. So she can get a bit confusing at time.

#, as written by Cayleen
The silent battle between Kyle and his unwavering hunger continued in the back of the classroom, the other students oblivious to the fact that if his rapidly depleting willpower failed him they could be his next unfortunate victim. Kyle's slender hands turned to fists as he set them on the desk in a failing attempt to keep control. Thin streams of blood trickled down his chin as long canines began to sink into his lower lip, his grip of stability slowly slipping. He struggled to keep his composure as a series of painful chills surged through his damp body, causing him to involuntarily shiver. Though the dark haired vampire's pallid skin felt cold and clammy to the touch, every nerve in his body felt as if it had been set ablaze. His shallow breathing quickened as his olive orbs darted from neck to neck, the gently pulsing carotid artery in each tantalizing him further. Small trails of blood similar to the ones below his lip began to form on his palm as his nails dug deeper and deeper into his clenched fist.

The teacher gave Kyle a questioning look as she passed his desk. "How's the paper coming along, Kyle?" The dark-haired vampire rolled his eyes upward and gazed up at the teacher. She was a slender yet defined woman in her mid-forties with mousy hair pulled sharply back in a strict bun. Her thin eyebrow arched above the rim of her glasses as she spoke, "Do you think maybe a piece of paper and pencil would help?" Small sniggers and wry comments could be heard but Kyle ignored them, swallowing hard, and barely managed a brusque nod of his head. The woman shook her head slightly as she stalked off towards her desk, heels clicking loudly against the classroom floor, to retrieve the needed paper and pencil. Kyle clenched and unclenched his jaw trying to keep his mind off the blood vessels streaming red and white blood cells throughout the surrounding students' bodies. Within moments of leaving, the click click of the teacher's heels grew louder and Kyle's eyes rose from his tight fist to the woman standing above him. She slapped the paper and pencil down on the wood and turned on her heel, continuing her patrol of the aisles.

Kyle hesitantly spread out his right hand, the palm now stained with red, and shakily picked up the pencil. His hand was the only thing that gave hint to his struggling state as he sat at the back of the class. It shook unstably as he brought the pencil closer the blank paper and his grasp on it tightened with every movement. The pale boy brought the pencil lead to the paper and pressed down hard. As he began to write the lead snapped under the immense pressure being asserted and this caused Kyle to increase the tightness of his grip. The last squeeze was too much for the pencil and it splintered in his palm. Slowly the vampire opened his hand, the pencil halves falling from his grasp, and studied the splinters protruding from his already stained palm. An unnoticeable grimace crossed the teen's face as he slowly pulled the bloodied slivers from his hand.

Kyle quickly re-clenched his right hand in an attempt to prevent any further blood loss. his olive orbs moved from his hand to the surrounding students. They flicked from student to student ensuring no one had seen his little incident or attracted any unnecessary attention to himself. Just as he was about to conclude no one saw, he locked gazes with a purple haired girl seated not too far from him. Her large blue eyes held a look of bored interest and Kyle quickly dropped his gaze. Wrapped around her neck was a bright tie the color of blood. Kyle felt his heart begin to quicken and without realizing it his gaze began to roll up the tie and landed at the crook of her neck. The hungry vampire's tongue involuntarily grazed his bloodied lower lip as he watched the main artery in the girl he recognized as Mako White 's neck pulse.

The spidery fingers on his hands began to stretch and ball back up and Kyle began to move restlessly in his wet seat. His eyes never once left Mako's smooth neck as he moved about. He swallowed thickly as his heartbeat accelerated and his breaths quicken. Damp, dark hair fell into the vampire's now glazed over olive eyes. Thoughts raced threw his now hunger possessed mind; thoughts revolving around blood, how hard he should launch himself, and were exactly his fangs should pierce. Then his mind was blank, his eyes glazed and the hunger took over completely.

Kyle slowly began to stand, preparing himself to launch at the unexpecting Mako who now had her back turned towards him. The muscles wired throughout his entire body tensed, prepared to fling himself out of the chair, and just as he was about to leap a painful sting penetrated the skin protecting his neck. Kyle's now vivid olive eyes widened and he glanced to his side. A girl no more than 5'3" stood at his seated side, fangs buried deeply into his neck. Her damp auburn hair fell from the unkempt side bun and covered her face. Kyle began to reach around her, attempting to pull her off but his arm froze as it curled around the girl standing behind him.

A sudden calm washed over Kyle as he sat staring at the stranger biting his neck. His eyes returned to their normal size and all pain disappeared from his body. A low moan emitted from his slightly parted lips and Kyle relaxed in his seat, allowing the ethereal feelings of pleasure to envelope him. Kyle's weight began to shift towards the girl due to the fact his strength felt as if it had been ripped away just as the pain had and his slender frame began to mold into her curves. Subconsciously, Kyle tilted his neck, allowing the smaller vampire to sink her fangs in deeper, sending a pleasurable spark through him. The arm still wrapped around her seemingly regained its strength and using it Kyle pulled the girl closer to him insisting she continued her meal.

Another low moan escaped Kyle as the fangs sank even deeper still. The arm curled around the female vampire tightened about her slim figure and pulled her closer, closing any space that might have been between them before. The overpowering sense of pleasure overwhelmed the male vampire's confused mind and using the arm already wrapped around the girl he pulled her onto his lap. Surprisingly and to Kyle's delight through all this movement the girl's jaws stayed latched on to his neck. The dark-haired teen quickly took his free arm and wrapped it around the girl, hugging her warm body to his cold frame. His now open, bloodstained hands clung tightly to the pale, loose sweater that now exposed one of her shoulders. Kyle's chin hooked over the girl's bare shoulder and one of his hands crept upwards, entangling itself in the girl vampire's messy locks.

The fact that he was in a room full of people, let alone his English class, fled from Kyle's mind and was replaced by all the good and pleasure coursing through his veins. He was enveloped by euphoric feelings, by pleasure and comfort and the girl seated on his lap. Sitting like this Kyle began to notice things about her; She smelled of fresh rain, of sweet things like fruit and maybe even a hint of cinnamon. She felt warm and comforting, an air of charisma and joy floating about her. The longer they stayed like this the more connected and attached Kyle began to feel. He began to feel the need to keep her safe, to ensure her happiness. He felt like over these short few moments together they had bonded, that the vampire sitting with him had some how become a part of him.

As they sat there Kyle began to feel safe like he was the one being protected, shielded from the outside world and this drove him to hug the girl even closer to him, her legs dangling off the side of the chair behind him, and stayed like this, unwilling to move.

Feeling a heated stare beat down on him, Scott averted his gaze from the knee-high socks and began a search for the stare's owner. His gaze was immediately met by a pair of somber, yet lovely, lapis-blue eyes. These somewhat familiar pools of blue, each veiled in a shroud of dark lashes, captivated his attention and Scott found himself racking his brain for a name. A brash comment from the boy sitting beside Scott caused the somber eyes to look away and being too enveloped in his search for a name, Scotty took no note of what the incubus had said.

A rather loud thud and an irked male voice broke the blonde's concentration and he found himself gazing at a drenched stranger bustling about with a pile of damp papers. Silver dripped from the newcomer's dark hair and into a pair of intriguing fox-like emeralds. These two gems adorned an olive tinted and rather effeminate face. Scott’s violet gaze slipped from the dark-haired boy’s face and slowly rolled down the boy’s body. His slender frame donned a close-fitting grey V-neck that exposed most of his collar bones. As a second layer to shield himself from the rough whether outside, the dark-haired newcomer wrapped himself in a dark jacket now glazed in rain water. A few shades darker than he had probably bought them as, the boy sported a pair of dark, water speckled, skinny jeans.

The newcomer seemed distracted as he made his way to the side of the room Mr. Lee had instructed him to. He kept glancing back at his many notebooks and papers, a look of concern flashing over his face each time he did so. The boy stopped beside Scott along the wall and gave a small smile before kneeling down and observing his slightly water damaged papers. With a sigh the boy stood up and introduced himself as Aiden. Scotty returned Aiden’s greeting with a wide grin and a loud chuckle “Names Scott, Scott Thomson, but you can call me Scotty.”

A blunt remark about coming to class and a comment on the manipulating ways of women replaced the typical introduction from Jason. This caused Scott to laugh lightly and he began plucking at the torn, brightly colored and water sodden shirt.

The boy calling himself Aiden hugged his wet notebooks tightly as if protecting them from any further damage and Scotty couldn’t help but wonder what was hidden within them. He began to creep closer to the dark-haired boy inch-by-inch and before long they were brushing shoulders. His usual playful smirk adorned his lightly tanned face as he turned towards the green-eyed boy. “Are your notebooks okay? Was there anything important in there?”

The next comment coming from the brown-haired incubus’s direction snagged Scott’s attention and he tore away from the mysterious notebooks. Jason’s mentioning of the price of a single semester caused Scotty to drop his smile. Most of the students attending Avolair Academy came from generally wealthy, well off families who could afford tuition easily. The Thomson family was on the opposite side of the financial scale and each semester they barely scrounged up enough money. Sometimes they were thousands of dollars short but for reasons unknown the school still allowed both Scotty and Kyle to attend. Part of Scott believes it’s because the school doesn’t want an emotionally unstable vampire type B wandering the city with no one to control it. Scott’s never mentioned this idea to Kyle and most likely never will. Kyle already hated himself for being born a “disgusting blood-sucking monster” enough as it was. Adding another thing for Kyle to hate about himself would never be a smart move due to the unknown toll it would have on his already waning stability.

Scott’s thoughts were interrupted as the room began to grow and the walls, ceiling, and floor seemingly evaporated before disappearing completely. Scott stared at the transparent floor as a swirling mist licked its way up his legs and into the clouding sky. Rolling thunder could be heard from every direction and a smile flicked across Scott’s face. Was this some kind of simulation conjured up by the teach? Maybe an illusion? Or maybe they were all really asleep in the classroom and this was some kind of dream Mr. Lee had created! Ideas flicked in and out of Scott’s active mind at rapid fire and his violet eyes sparkled excitedly.

The storm suddenly grew in intensity. The rain began to pour down relentlessly, soaking them all within seconds. The wind roared and howled in Scott’s ears and the booming thunder echoed from behind. The temperature dropped rapidly and the pouring rain began to turn to pelting hail. The chilling winds stung at Scotts face and his eyes watered as he squinted between burning lids. Loud thunder clapped from every direction and lightning flashed dangerously close.

Too engrossed in his ever changing and exciting surroundings, Scott missed the teacher’s possibly important instructions and the monstrous creature heading towards him came as a shocking surprise. It was huge, much larger than the one the girls had been stuck with, and a pale, sickly green in coloring. The skin was anything but smooth, numerous patches of discolored skin stitched together in random, uncoordinated places could be seen on its tough hide and an awful stench wafted off of it as it moved closer. It was grotesque to say the least, its eyes bulged and its unruly claws scratched at the floor with every step. Scott’s violet orbs shot open and his mouth agape as the thing thudded towards the spot he was standing. Glancing around, Scott spotted Allura charging at a different monster. It almost came as a surprise the amount of pent up strength and energy lay hidden inside such a small body and Scott couldn’t help but chuckle quietly. Turning back to his own monster, Scotty’s eyes returned to their normal size and his open mouth clicked back into its usual smirk. “Let’s get this show on the road!”

Strangely the monster stopped in it’s tracks with no warning at all and began batting at invisible opponents. Scott stood strait and stared quizzically at the monster. "Scott, Aiden kill it while I have it stunned!" Jason’s voice yelled from the side. So he did this. Scott’s grin grew. “I’m on it!” Spreading his legs out in an offensive stance Scott closed his eyes, calming his senses and in a normal tone spoke “Staminis mutatio mutatione fiunt atom.” The Latin rolled off his tongue easily as he recited the spell for Atom Mutation. Opening his eyes Scott found a surprising sight; nothing changed. The wizard cocked his head to the side and arched a thin eyebrow “Kay…again!” Closing his eyes once more Scott spoke in a slightly louder voice, “Staminis mutatio mutatione fiunt atom.” Scott opened his eyes to the same disappointing scenario. “The hell…” Scott tried his eye closing routine once more and in an even louder tone recited the spell,“Staminis mutatio mutatione fiunt atom!” Opening his eyes to find nothing had changed and frustration began to boil inside the blonde. This time with his eyes wide open Scott recited, “Staminis mutatio mutatione fiunt atom!” Nothing. “Staminis mutatio mutatione fiunt atom!!” Once again, nothing. Scott’s frustration slowly grew and out of aggravation he shouted, “Staminis mutatio mutatione fiunt atom.!!” As expected nothing changed and just as he was about to shout the spell once more a flash of metal caught his eye. Turning his head from the monster Scott saw two shields sprout from the bands around Allura’s wrists. Atom Mutation? Scott pondered on the thought of having his powers stripped and given to someone else and decided that was the only explanation. So whose powers do I have? Scott’s violet orbs darted from each classmate his mind solely wishing he paid more attention to everyone’s powers in previous years. Scott sighed, not remembering a single power his classmates had and turned back to the still stunned creature. The more he looked at the thing the more it seemed familiar to him. Where had he seen it before? His brow contorted as he struggled to remember.

Suddenly it hit him; the colossal creature standing before him reminded him of a very similar picture he had seen upon many occasions in the public library near the Thomson residence. He had gone there many times, never by his free will of course, with his adoptive brother, Kyle. The picture hung on the wall above the return slot and Scott remembered having sat in the chair across from it for hours waiting for Kyle to finish his reading. The picture was of a grotesque beast halfheartedly sewn together with needle like teeth and claws. He had practically memorized every detail of the picture by the time he finished the 4th grade.

A loud, ferocious roar much too close for comfort caused Scott to jump from his thoughts and his startled gaze landed on not one, but two monstrous creatures facing each other. Scott’s eyes widened in shock at the sight of the two nearly identical beasts and he stared at the closest monster. This was the newest creature on sight and was slightly smaller than the one still distracted by whatever Jason had done to it. Though it was smaller in physical conformation, its claws were nearly twice as long and razor sharp. Scott baffled at the newer beast, it was identical to the monster hanging above the return slot.

The library monster suddenly lunged forward and brought down a beating claw upon the 1st monster, tearing a long and deep gash through the class monster’s thick hide. The monster’s pain-struck howls barely made it over the sound of the roaring winds that muffled Scott’s ears. Brushing his soaked hair, now plastered to his head, out of his eyes, he peered through the pelting rain and hail at the battling monsters. The library monster continued to beat down on the slightly distracted classroom creature and blood began to mix with the falling rain and pool around the two. Roars and howls filled with anger and agony rang loudly throughout the space they occupied. As Scott watched the battle unfold a thought made itself known to him. Did I do this? Who has the power to bring pictures to life? Scott’s purple orbs flicked from each of his classmates, hoping to get at least some answers to whose power he now possessed.

A new figure appeared in the stormy space. A boy around Scott’s age with a nearly crimson colored mane boldly interrupted the rather dangerous class session and began laughing in what seemed a fit of hysteria. Scott arched a questioning brow as the boy easily made his way through the pounding rain and ferocious winds towards Mr. Lee. To Scott’s and most likely everyone in the room’s surprise the dark-haired man pounded relentlessly on the teachers skull not stopping until the blood began to ooze from the teacher’s face. The most likely mentally unstable man easily evaded a hard swipe from one of the monsters and went into another fit of hysteria before turning to Jason. He spoke to the incubus with a maniacal expression etched into his face. Scott’s violet orbs darted between the still battling monsters and the man talking to Jason, unsure of which was more dangerous.

Scott remembered Mr. Lee, now sprawled on the floor in a gathering pool of his own blood. Without a second glance at the monsters or Jason and the other man, the blonde sprinted to the teacher, struggling to keep his balance in the relentless winds. Scott crouched down beside Mr. Lee, staring at him in shock before carefully reaching his hand out and pressing down on the artery in his neck. After feeling a few pulses Scott exhaled deeply in relief. Seeing no sign the teacher would stop bleeding, Scott began to recite his healing spell, “Curate-“ He stopped short remembering he no longer had his own powers. Quickly the blonde whipped his head around towards where the girls were fighting ,“Allura! I need your help! Now!”

She was floating along on a white granite path. All around her was nature; the colors swirled around her, greens mixing with the brown of the bark, which fused with the pinks from the large flowers around her. They were almost like orchids, one of her favorite flowers, but yet....they didn’t look like orchids…

Confused, Cami tried to step off the path, and found she was unable to. Startled, she looked down, seeing a small three with two horns growing out of the top of its head. Growling, Cami lifted her foot, smashing the small three.

Satisfied and the mysterious flower forgotten, the path raced ahead, the colors once again bleeding into one another. As the path sped up, there was a nearing bright light. Cami shielded her eyes.

There was a loud clash. She was dressed in a formal kimono, the front sprayed with blood, and the ends frayed from fire. Another enemy charged toward her, and her katana blocked their attack, sending the warrior back. Cami noticed then that the front of his outfit bore a large 3 and was bright green in color.

Camilla shrieked, finding herself charging toward the fallen soldier, her katana plunging into his chest, blood rising up and-

She was in a palace, she didn’t know how she knew, but she knew she was. The dungeon of the palace, but a palace nonetheless. Her feet and hands were bound in shackles, her hair dull and oily. The door opened and her lips pulled back, letting out a vicious snarl.

“Now, calm down my princess. I am here to save you, you see?!” the stranger was in strange clothes, not fitting for this era, as far as she could tell. His shirt was a soft, unnatural green, but it matched nicely with his slightly tanned skin. He donned a pair of what looked to be jeans, but Camilla didn’t register this.

“Save me? Go fuck yourself bastard.” She was surprised at the words flowing so easily from her mouth, “you put me here in the first place. You and your-
The stranger kissed her and she melted into him. Her gold eyes widened in shock, and bore into his violet ones. He had unusual hair, for it was as bright at the sun itself.

She closed her eyes, enjoying the moment of bliss. The feel of lips on hers, the weight of him pressing against her; she felt his hands unbind her chains and her arms went to wrap around his neck deepening-

“Gomennasai! I lost track of time this morning. It will never happen again.” A shrill voice broke through Camilla’s dreams, and she slowly awoke. It hadn’t even been 10 minutes since she fell asleep, but she hated this person for ruining her dream. Not that she remembered anything, save for a pair of bright violet eyes. She grumbled quietly, and growled when she felt the boy sit behind her.

She could feel the annoyance roll off him in short waves, signaling he wasn’t too irked at the situation of the rain. He was afraid of thunder and lightning, a fact that Camilla didn’t feel inclined to know. Unwilling her gaze slid to the window, looking out to see the dark clouded sky.

There of course, was always a high possibility of thunder and lightning, but based upon her animal instincts, she guessed neither would happen. Against her mind’s will she turned to face the boy, and her eyes raked over his lean body, fighting a small blush that managed to sneak up on her.
He was soaking wet, like her. His pink hair clung desperately to his pale, almost ghostly white face. His silver eyes were bored, not really focusing on anything there around him. His bony frame suit him, making him seem…younger in her eyes. She didn’t know his year, nor did she care; she just found him…alluring to say the least.

She blinked, a scowl replacing the slight smile that had snuck onto her lips, “t-here isn’t going to be any t-thunder,” she snapped in a harsh whisper, so the teacher couldn’t hear, “or lightning.” She growled as an afterthought.

With that said, her body whipped back around to face the teacher, her wet hair swishing with the movement. Her head rested on her palm, sighing quietly. She knew she would get an A in the class, why should she be paying attention?

She dozed off again, images of violet eyes and golden hair flashing across her brain. She didn’t understand this, but she liked the images. They didn’t make her feel the same as the guy behind her did, but they didn’t disgust her like most other guys would. His eyes seemed gentle and caring, yet held a devilish glint in them, ensuring that your time with him would be worthwhile.

Cami slipped into another nap, this time her dreams were filled with slaying of the evil 3 and his minions of -3, all wearing bright neon green outfits. She let out a mumble, “die…3….green…die” and lapsed back into silence, the rest of the class not hearing her small outburst.

She was slaughtering the minions the master 3 had sent to try and kill her, trying to work her way to the castle he called his ‘home.’ Their outfits were bright, unnatural green, which pissed her off to no end. Beside her the strange guy was fighting with a long, sword, in the back of Cami’s sleep induced mind, looked like a fencing sword. On her other side was the hot vampire that she had talked to. Her face heated up and this moment of hesitation allowed a small -3 to creep up on her, slashing her side deeply.

She gasped in pain and her world went white. She was spiraling down, out of control. Down the rabbit hole. Down toward the pits of hell. Down to the-
With a soft thud she was in bed, her sister fretting over her, saying nonsense that she had a fever, and that their mother was going to help them. Cami closed her eyes tightly, wishing she was someone else.

Wake up.

She ignored the voice, since it was her own. She opened her eyes and saw a meadow. All the flowers were in bloom, the scene perfect, Kimi would absolutely love it.

W-wake up…

The meadow disappeared and Cami tried to reach after it, but the scenery changed to quickly and she was in her dorm. She saw the violet-eyed beauty, which had graced her dreams so far today, tossing his bag onto the middle bed, but thought nothing of this. She was observing the room, the lush white pillows that lay neatly on her bed.

That’s real, wake up.

She yawned, opening her eyes. It was a dream. Of course, Kimi was lying next to her, snuggled into her arms, a warm smile on her lips as she slowly opened her eyes to seeing Camilla looking calmly back at her. Her smile grew and Camilla couldn’t help but place a soft kiss on Kimi’s forehead before rolling out of bed and landing on her back on the soft carpet.

“You’re really cute Cami!” Kimi peeked out from under the covers, giggling childishly, “really cute!”

Cami rolled her eyes and yawned again, her eyes closing.

Wake up!

She was alone, and it was dark. There were sounds and then a boom and a fire started. Cami froze her eyes widening.

Wake

She didn’t need to see this again, and she unfroze, running for her life.

The hell

She didn’t need to see the fire that killed her parents that killed her sister that killed her.

UP!

Cami sat up rigid in her seat, before sinking back down in her seat, forgetting that others could see her. She was just glad it was a dream. All a dream…

Kimi dimly felt the weak nudges the boy was giving her before his arm wrapped around her waist, yanking her closer. She let out a soft moan, trying to stay quiet. She stood on her toes, biting harder into his neck, a sense of pleasure coursing through her veins.

Without a second thought, her arms were around his abdomen, pressing closer to him, another moan threatening to break free. She could sense his confusion mutedly, but the sensual feelings overrode his bewilderment. His head tilted back slightly, and she shivered, not from the cold, but from the raw, unaltered sexual feelings she harbored. With a small, animalistic growl, her fangs sank deeper into his neck, her body slowly releasing the extra blood that had been pent up in her tiny body.

She allowed her hazy mind to wander, wondering weakly why she was having these feelings. She fed Camilla more times than she could count, and on a few occasions had fed some strangers. But none of them had given her this feeling…she didn’t want to let him go. The thought was a small shock, but she didn’t think long on it, for with a sudden tug, she was in the boys lap.

She fought back a squeak and let her legs dangle on each side of the chair, her fangs still embedded into his neck. Another arm was wrapped around her, and she pressed herself tightly against him, her arms removing themselves from his stomach. She then realized there was something…something blocking her from pressing her body against his. Growling her hands closed around the black strap that held his camera to his neck and snapped it, somehow managing to set it gently on his desk, never removing her mouth from his neck.

With the offending item out of the way, Kimi’s hands clung tightly to his shirt, her body crushed against his. The hunger was still lingering in her veins, but quicker than she would have expected, it was draining from her body, her mind slowly regaining clarity. She felt his hand slide across her back and tangle into her hair, causing her to gasp, her fangs ripping from his neck.

Kimi gazed as the marks she had left in his neck, and licked her lips slowly, her mind finally clearing the last of the haze from her hunger. Her eyes slid up his neck, and across his face, hesitantly locking gazes with him. She was scared; of how he would react, if he would get addicted to her bites, if he would hurt her.

The fear was evident in her eyes, and her hands slowly unhooked from his shirt, her eyes never leaving his. Her hair had loosened in the bun she had put it in, her hair falling in wisps to her shoulders, framing her childish face.

“I…I’m sorry…” her voice cracked, and she looked down, breaking his gaze, “I was hungry…and it…” she thought back to how she felt during the bite and shook her head, her ponytail broke, and her hair cascaded down slowly to her shoulders, “it…didn’t mean…”

Say it Kimi, tell him it didn’t mean anything…tell him!

She whimpered softly, her hands folding together, registering in her mind that she was still sitting on him, though she was shocked to find she liked this position, she like being near him, especially sitting in his lap.

Did it mean something? Or was it just the fact that he was another vampire that gave her these feelings? Was it because he was hot and the feeling of being pressed against him excited her? Or was it something…more?

She thought about kissing the boy in front of her, and immediately blushed bright red. She couldn’t understand why, which was unexpected of her. She looked at everything the way an artist would, reveling in each moment as one that should be painted, captured forever. She was sure the sight of her face was one of the few that she would never want to be held in painting forever.

She looked away from the pretty boy and bit her lip. She didn’t want to think of liking him, after such an incident she didn’t think he would like her back. She sat back in his lap, for some reason refusing to leave him. She felt safe, protected. She liked this boy somehow, for some reason.

Deciding to forget about all the worries she had floating around in her mind, she looked back and him and giggled softly, a large smile breaking across her face.

“I’m sorry about that, I didn’t mean to, though I’d love to do it again,” her clear golden eyes held the look of innocence well, knowing full well what she had just said, “I don’t think I caught your name. I’m Kimi, it’s nice to meet you, I hope we get acquainted.”

She didn’t think he would respond to her, and with that said, she slowly and unwillingly got off his lap, turning to face the class. They were all staring at the two of them, the looks ranging from horror and disgust, to shock and…were there a few that looked, jealous? Kimi smiled politely at everyone, her eyes settling on the teacher.

“I am very sorry. I did not mean to interrupt class, I was extremely hungry,” she bowed and continued speaking; her words loud and clear for everyone to hear her, “I cannot promise this will never happen again. I am a type C vampire and the hunger comes in random spurts. I cannot guarantee your safety around me, and for that I am very sorry, I do not wish to put you in danger. Feel free to be disgusted but remember,” Her eyes swept across the room, her smile gone from her face, “some of you are worse things than I am, got it?” she bowed again, smaller this time and sighed softly. She hated when these kinds of things happened. She didn’t want to stay here, so she turned, and left, without saying another word.

Silently she pressed her back against the wall right outside her classroom, the cold air gracing its presence causing her small body to shiver involuntarily. She peeled off her sweater and shivered slightly. Her eyes tilted to the sky, the gray overcast almost fitting her mood perfectly. She sat on the floor, her head resting against the wall, and she waited for the class to end, shivering in the cold.

“I am very sorry. I did not mean to interrupt class, I was extremely hungry,”

The girl bowed in an apologetic manner. Mako couldn't help but frown a little, sure she couldn't control her hunger but making such a large spectacle could have been avoided couldn't it? Looking at the faces of her fellow classmates, she could tell not many cared for her explanation.

"Type C?" Mako spoke aloud in a low mumble. She remembered Allura saying something about them, not being regular vampires that everyone knows about. Type C's hunger like regular vampires but don't require drinking blood and must give up the excess amount of blood they have. It was an interesting fact and wouldn't have thought she'd meet another besides Allura.

The girl's eyes looked around the class after her explanation, "some of you are worse things than I am, got it?" her words sparked a few students who were visibly upset by her comment. She bowed once again but only a small one and looked a little uncomfortable. Without another word spoken she took her things and exited the class quickly. Mako could see she was visibly shaken about something, what Mako wasn't sure.

Normally she wouldn't get into other's matters but she wanted to make an exception; no matter who or what she was, she was still a fellow classmate. To be completely honest with herself, she wanted to ask the girl questions instead of just seeing if she was alright. Still not completely convinced on the idea her feet started to move on their own, but no subconsciously; it was mainly the work of Mao and Lao moving her legs. "White, where do you think you're going?" The teacher called out to her but Mako just put up her hand in response, like saying to just forget it.

After reaching the outside of the class, Mao and Lao both materialized next to her, Mako sighed and petted their heads "I get it, but next time tell me first. I'll probably get in trouble for this...Hm?" Mako looked down at the corner of her eye at the girl with her back against the wall; she shivered from the cold breeze. Mako second thought approaching her and thought just to leave her alone but she already came this far.

Kneeling down next to her, Mako smiled weakly "Hey..." She mumbled lightly, she wasn't actually sure what to say so she said the next best thing "That was an interesting entrance you had there...Um; I'm Mako, Mako White." Mako actually wasn't expecting her to answer; tired of kneeling Mako took up a space next to her and pulled her knees to her chest. Mako sat in silence waiting for a response if one would ever come, or till first period was over.

Siren gasped as she noticed a vampire girl biting another vampire.
She raised an eyebrow as she notice the action become much more sexual than she thought it would be.
The girl somehow ended up on the other vampire's lap. After she was done, the auburn haired girl stood up an apologized to the class.

Siren was in slight awe, she had never seen a Type C vampire before. From what she had heard, the dark haired boy she was giving blood to must have been in immense pleasure.
The witch wondered to herself what it was like to need to give blood.

Before Siren knew it, the girl walked out of the class room, slightly tounching Siren's arm.
As this happened, Siren could feel Raven, the spirit of an Oracle that lived inside her, take control.

Siren's dark hair turned silver and her eyes seemed to drain themselves of any color.
"Nothing escapes the Oracles sight,
As I now see two children of night,
From Lust to Love,
From the blood of a bite,
In the days to come,
Watch for the dove,
The purest bird,
A symbol of love,
And a symbol of Light."

After a loud and echoing voice said this from Siren's mouth, her hair returned to black and her eyes regained their color.
She looked at the teacher, a strict looking vampire, then at the class. "What did I just say?"

She listened and looked at him as he explained to her exactly what he is. She smiled "Its ok, i'm a succubus. Its hard to believe right?" She laughed a little. She took her hand back after he was done shaking it and noticed there was a problem on the board. She wrote it down and started solving it until the teacher called on Traril. Amy looked up at him as he easily solved the problem in a matter of seconds when Amy didn't even start. Her jaw dropped and she stared at him thinking 'Wow, he's really good at math.' She closed her mouth and finished solving the problem even though he already solved it.

Amy looked back at him when he asked her a question. "Im in Music Club" She smiled, "Kendo sounds like a lot of fun, but I think i'm too weak and small for it" She said scratching the back of her head with a half smile. Amy was never really good with things that involved strength, but she always wanted to try something like kendo or karate. She shrugged and just ignored it, she was happy to be in the Music club. She wrote the next problem that was on the board in her notebook

Allura looked at Glory with a slightly irritated look when she asked her if she could throw her a sword or something of the sort. Where did she think the shields came from? "I can't just conjure shit up outta nowhere dumb ass!" she shouted as her mind raced for ways to harness Scott's magic. It was ever so irritating, and it made her feel somewhat weak if only for a moment that she couldn't figure out what she was able to do. She knew some of Scott's magic based on seeing it in previous years but how to use it? Some part of her believed the fact that she self taught herself most of her own magical mastery was the reason that she could not harness other magic well. No one ever taught her about general magic growing up. No, her parents weren't around long enough to do that, being she had killed them and all. Murderer, she thought to herself. The creature was clearly not going to go anywhere with the hacking and slashing she was doing to it, but it was not going to die either. If it could really die in the first place. Allura assumed the teacher had warped them to somewhat of a self created alternate dimension of some sort. Whatever he wanted to be there was there, but it was only illusion at the same time. Such as that, on her hands she didn't think her cuffs were there because they didn't appear to be, but they were, or that shield bit wouldn't have been possible.

Out of the corner of her eye she saw Glory taking some damage from the monster to the point where she was losing a decent amount of blood. "Well that was fast." Allura said to herself as she jumped off the monster landing beside it. She was almost offended that the creature gave Glory all the attention even though she was cutting into it over and over again, some part of her wanted to scream at the thing. However, Glory seemed to have plans which that would have ruined. Allura was supposed to take the fucker down while she distracted it, which she wasn't doing a job of anymore, she watched as the girl slowed in her attacks and her dodges, she was going to get seriously injured if she kept this up. Glory must have been someone who relied heavily on magic to fight if she couldn't manage a physical battle long, "Fuck it all." Allura mumbled. She heard someone chuckle behind her, almost wanting to turn around, but that would have been the death of the both of them, possibly. However, as soon as Allura prepared herself for another go at the grotesque creature, she heard that insane excuse for a laugh that she was all too familiar with. It was Jason, or Jason's other self, that idiot never really could control it. As amusing as his other half was, he was psychotic and possibly just scary, even to Allura.

She quickly turned around and she heard Scott cry for help, her eyes widening at the sight of the teacher on the ground, blood pouring out of his head, and Lance standing over him laughing - Scott on the floor seemingly helpless. Is this a test? She thought to herself. Save and aid your comrade who can fend for themself - but how long? Or run to the aid of someone who doesn't even look like they will survive, but are helpless? And what of Scott? Was he just going to leave Jason standing there? If this was a test she didn't want to fail, and if this was reality then the choice was clear, but what of the consequences of her decision? "You're going to have to hold out a bit longer." she said to Glory as she ran towards Scott. For a second she saw the other group, their creature was fighting another large creature. "Well that's hardly fair." she mumbled. As she reached Scott she looked down at the teacher, she had no idea why she was the one called to him, that was until it hit her that she had Scott's powers and he had the ability of healing. "Lance you son of a bitch what the fuck did you do!?" she shouted as she pushed the insane bastard with all her might. She glared at him, and as she did so spoke to Scott. "I-I don't know how to do...that. She said rather snobbishly, though was slightly nervous behind it all. Was their own teacher going to die in front of them? Was it going to be her fault she couldn't save him? If he didn't have that massive wound she could have bit the blood back into him, maybe. But biting people was not something she was fond of, she felt is was wrong in a way, due to the effect type C vampires had on people.

"Wake up! It's not funny!" she shouted at the teacher who lie on the floor appearing as if these were his last moments of life. "Uh-I.." Allura got down on her knees, sitting in the pool of blood of the teacher, the blades were still on her arms, and she didn't trust Lance's other self not to do the same to her. "Lance you dumb shit..wake up!" She shouted as she turned to him briefly. She didn't know how people healed other people, and if she remembered right Scott could not heal massive wounds like this, logically...she would not be able to either. She concentrated hard on him, as if he was going to magically heal, but nothing happened. She knew she didn't have to recite anything, but this was nothing like she was used to. Allura felt weak, and she was beginning to get angry, she looked around her, Glory was not in a good state either right now? If she had her own powers, if only she did. Allura would never admit defeat in anything, but it was like she was a whole different person right now, she didn't have any of her own magic to back her up. Who had it anyways? She hated working with other people, crap like this happened. Relying on other people, protecting other people. "Can you...help me...?" she said defeated, slightly grinding her teeth. Her eyes narrowed when she looked up to see the tornado near them, what would happen with the teacher out...? "Do you think it's possible we can get stuck here.."

Amy was a little surprised at what he said, she always thought it was better to be bigger and stronger. She was also surprised when he said he was somewhat fragile, he looked pretty strong to her. "I guess.." She said not really believing him, she still feels like she would be badly injured if she even attempted. Her face lit up when he asked her that question. "We pretty much play anything, its a lot of fun. I'm starting to learn how to play guitar but I already know how to play the violin and sing a little. The only thing I'm bad at is rapping, its too fast and confusing..." She said and kept going on. Once someone asked that question she would talk for a while.

She noticed that she was rambling on and on, she covered her mouth and stopped talking. "Sorry... I talk a lot sometimes" She turned a little red from embarrassment. "Um, what about kendo? Don't you have to train a lot? Must be really hard" She smiled and looked at him. She felt like she was using her seduction powers but she couldn't really help it. There was no use even trying to stop it cause she is unable to 'Hopefully nothing happens' she thought and just shrugged it off.

Wet and miserable, Chase sat in his seat behind the purple haired girl trying to listen to the teacher’s ramblings. The sound of heavy rain striking the roof made the hair on the back of his neck raise. His translucent skin prickled with fear. There’s no lightning. There’s no lightning. There’s no lightning. He repeated over and over again in his mind trying to calm himself down, but the fear was too strong. The rain bounced off the window with enough force that the pink haired vampire believed that the evil water would make its way into the classroom. He would be sitting in his chair, oblivious to his impending doom, and be pelted with millions of clear, cold stinging bees. They would fill the room with the sound of their rushing wings until there would be no more room between them and the ceiling. Chase would try to breathe the depleting amount of precious air, but instead would receive mouthfuls of ice-cold water. Once the air disappeared from his waterlogged lungs, he would slowly fall to his watery grave. He would wish he was dead. He would beg for death and shall be granted it. His vision would become blurry and fade and before long he would become- STOP!! Chase shook his head roughly in an attempt to rid himself of the horrors created by his imagination. He shuddered and grasped his head in his hands. Drops of water slowly slid down his boney arms from his soaked hair, making him shiver.

The vampire slowly emptied his mind of any scary thoughts and replaced them with images of rainbows and kittens with wings. After a few minutes, Chase began to realize that kittens did not have wings and that rainbows weren’t so girly. You’ve finally lost it. Who in the hell thinks of rainbows and kittens? Only little girls do. Are you a little girl Chase-kun? The image of himself in a frilly dress and pigtails entered his mind. At first he felt depressed that he would ever think of such things, but then his wet body began to shake in silent laughter. There is no way someone would get him into that outfit. It was hideous, horrendous! The color of the dress made him gag. It was the ugliest grey that he had ever seen with chunky, puck green frills. The frills were also so over the top you couldn’t define the shape of the dress. It was horrible, not to mention that it clashed grossly with his pink hair. There was no way in this world or the next would he ever wear such a thing. You would have to knock him unconscious to get him in it. The disgusting fabric might even burn off his skin the process, or worse, dye his skin puke green permanently! The traumatized vampire threw up a little in his mouth at the thought. He really needed to get some more sleep. His mind was playing tricks on him. Well that’s what happens when you stay up all night trying to watch that zombie movie without peeing yourself. He shivered again.

Chase looked back up when he noticed that the purple haired girl was staring at him. He stared back slightly puzzled. He had seen her around the academy a few times before. She was a senior so he never really had the chance to talk to her. What is her name again? Catlin, Carla, caramel? No wait, that’s a candy not a name, baka! I know it started with a c… Racking through all the random thoughts in his mind he searched for her name. A light bulb went off in the vampire’s mind. Of course her name is Camillia! Baka how could you have thought it was caramel? Returning from his thoughts he noticed that she was still looking at him. He raised an eyebrow slightly wondering how she could find him so interesting. No one really paid attention to him unless he was making a fool of himself or was caught in another prank his fellow classmates had so generously planed for him. Her sleepy golden eyes looked over his body in a swift manner. A dark pinkish color tinted her cheeks abruptly. She then stuttered something about the storm not going to have thunder or lightning. Her wet hair almost whipped him in the face when she quickly turned back to face the front.

Startled by her reaction, he looked himself over. In his rush to get ready that morning, he had grabbed a thin white button up dress shirt. Since he got soaked on his way to class, his shirt was practically invisible. Feeling embarrassed, the vampire’s face began to burn. Thinking about running to the bathroom to try and dry his shirt, he noticed that he had put his shirt on backwards. His embarrassment was now replaced with confusion. It’s usually impossible to put on a button up shirt backwards, but Chase somehow accomplished just that. He reached back and felt that the shirt was buttoned all the way up. What in the world?! He gave an exasperated sigh. Obviously today was not his day.Now what am I supposed to do? He looked around suspiciously making sure no one had noticed his awkward position. Again he thought about going to the bathroom to straighten himself out, but that would just be embarrassing if everyone saw that his shirt was see-through, backwards, and buttoned all the way up to his scalp. To avoid as much embarrassment as possible he decided to just move his shirt around in his seat seeing as he was in the back.

Slipping his cold arms inside his even colder shirt, he attempted to turn his shirt around. Unfortunately the wet fabric did not want to work with him. It clung to his skin with all its might and sent more shivers down Chase’s spine as the wetness. About halfway though switching his shirt around, he felt something tugging on his hair. He tried to move the shirt again, but it wouldn’t budge. At the same time he tried to move the shirt, tugging happened again. A thought stuck the miserable vampire: his hair was caught in one of the buttons. He silently groaned. Not only were his arms trapped inside his cloth prison, but his head was being pulled sideways because his precious pink hair was stuck in a freak’n button! By about this time Chase was a little bit annoyed. Why did God want to pick on him for his first day of school? This was becoming insane. The vampire had had enough. Instead of thinking through this predicament, he impatiently yanked as hard as he could on his shirt to try and get his hair loose. Big mistake. Instead of having his hair free from the stupid button, he pulled himself off balance, slid of his chair, and landed face first on the ground with his ass in the air. He landed with an “oomph”. It took him a few seconds to register that he just landed on his face in a crowded classroom. With his face as red as a tomato, the pink haired vampire stood up, his arms still stuck in a straight jacket, and struggled to get out of the room as the class began to erupt in giggles. Not wanting to seem rude, he did a short bow to the teacher and squeaked something about going to the restroom.

Once he was in the bathroom, he stood in front of the mirror and began to slowly pull his arms out of confinement. Thankfully no one was in there. With his cheeks still flushed from earlier, he got his arms to poke out from the bottom of his shirt. He then tried to lift it over his head, but ended up covering his whole face since his hair was still stuck. “Oh why me!” He whined. Alone, exhausted, and wet he struggled against the cursed thing trying not to rip out his hair in the process.

Lazarus was angered by Allura's actions, I mean, she'd called him 'Jason'. Didn't she know who she was dealing with? Lazarus would kill her, but it seemed that Lance had begun the process of getting his body back. Even without the Necklace, Lance had been taking classes which had improved his ability to control Lazarus, and Lazarus didn't like it, at all. Lazarus also didn't like to show distress, or, really, any emotion at all. He simply laughed one of his maniac Laughs. He turned to Allura and grinned. It made him look even more intimidating and psychotic, and Lazarus positively relished the though of snapping Allura in half. He could already smell her blood, the blood that coated him smelled different. Old. But Allura's blood smelled... good.

Lazarus laughed again, and began to walk in circles around the group of Allura, Mr. Lee and Scott. He yed Scott, noticing that he must be new here. He bent down, and put his face right in front of Scotts. "Hello there, newblood. I'm Lazarus, but it seems that our Friend-". Lazarus twisted his head, grinning like a maniac in Alluras direction, then twisting his head back to Scott."- Allura, has confused me with my, well, Lance's best friend Jason Black. I suggest you stay clear of me, and trust me, ask around, and almost everyone here is scared of me. Even you, Allura, though you may not know it". Lazarus stood, and laughed again. "So Allura, are you going to try and tame me again? Or are you going to let me do what I've wanted to do for such a long time? Heh. I'll tell Lance that you said hi, okay?"

Lazarus turned, walked a few steps, and then spun back around, and kicked Mr. Lee is the side of his Head. Lazarus turned around and proclaimed that that wouldn't kill him, Mr. Lee would just be a bit screwed up for a while. Then Lazarus laughed.

-----------------------------------------

Lance was still conscious, somehow, and he was trying to regain control of his now possessed body. He knew that he must fight against Lazarus as hard as he could. He couldn't let his Other hurt anyone else. Lance knew he was fighting a losing battle, but he definitely wouldn't give up.

Traril sat there stunned trying to keep from asking her on a date or anything. Lets just concentrate on the math. Looking down at his paper Traril noticed Amy legs and whistled in his mind. what are you doing looking up again he finally cracked under the pressure. Amy sat there looking at him with an innocent smile. "You should its a lot of fun.. Hmmm, maybe i'll come by one time and watch" She said smiling, she was really interested into it and you could tell by just looking at her. She started working again until she heard him say something, she looked over but noticed that he was just doing his work. 'Maybe im just hearing things' She shrugged and continued working. For some reason she felt like someone was looking at her but she thought that it was just her imagination. She turned her head to ask Traril another question and was suddenly kissed by him. Her eyes widened, she slightly pushed him away and covered her mouth as her face slightly turned red.

She stood up and raised her hand "Teacher, can I please go to the bathroom?" as soon as he gave her permission she calmly walked out of the classroom but ran down the hall. Amy ran to the bathroom and went into a stall, she didn't know what to do. 'Why would he kiss me?! We just met?' She thought to herself 'Its because of my stupid powers that i cant control' She sighed walking out of the stall. "I really need to learn how to control my powers" she said with another sigh "I'll just wash my mouth and pretend this never happened like with all the rest' She thought slightly smiling but had a somewhat painful expression.

Amy washed her mouth and dried her hands and mouth. She walked out of the bathroom and started heading back to the classroom 'Just act like nothing happened' she repeated in her head. She opened the door, entered the classroom and took a seat at her desk. She hummed quietly while swinging her legs back and forth when she was doing her work. 'I just hope he doesn't mention it again' she thought and continued working.

Amy glances over at Traril's desk and only just noticed he was gone. '....Wow, I should pay more attention to my surroundings' She sighed and continued with her work. She really wanted the period to end but there was still some time left. She sighed with boredom, she really wasn't in the mood to work right now. She started drawing on the corner of her notebook while resting her head on her hand. Amy looked out the window and watched the rain as it fell from the dark sky, she would always feel tired whenever it rained. She rested her head on her desk and her eyes slowly started to close. 'Wait I can't fall asleep on the first day of school.... But i'm really tired... I'll just rest my eyes for a few minutes...' She thought, convincing herself it was ok to sleep so thats what she did.

As Amy was sleeping she felt something hit her head somewhat hard. She slowly rubbed her eyes then opened them, when she looked up the teacher was there with a angry expression. Amy was still half asleep so she had a slow reaction, once she realized that she fell asleep in class she was wide awake. "I-I'm sorry Sensei." He hit her on top of her head with a packet of papers somewhat hard again and told her to go out in the hallway. She walked out of the classroom rubbing her head and hearing a few student laugh quietly.

Amy waited out in the hall "I can't believe I just did that." She sat on the floor and leaned against the wall, she sighed. She just sat there not knowing what to do "Hopefully this period is almost over." She waited patiently for the bell to ring so she can go to her next class.

Allura! I need your help! Now!” Scott’s frantic voice was muffled by the roaring winds and thundering skies as he called out to his fellow classman. She seemed hesitant to leave her position but after a long pause, she listened to Scotty’s cry for help and darted through the raging storm to his aid.

Scotty’s eyes were wide, startled pools of swirling purple as he turned from Allura and stared at his new teacher, covered in a pool of crimson and dying before the class. He reached out to the helpless man, clutching his hand tightly within his own, as the small classmate beside him yelled at the one who caused this tragedy. “Don’t die on us yet, Teach…” A mix of uncontrollable and ferocious emotions flooded through the blonde’s sturdy frame all at once, causing him to shake. These raw emotions bubbled up uncontrollably, forming as sparkling tears that rimmed his angry eyes. These tears trickled down from his dampened lashes and merged with the moist trails the cruel rain had left behind.

Scott sniffed quietly as he remembered Allura standing beside him. “You may not know how to now,” his voice was shaky, filled with the coarse, raw emotions from before and he had to take a deep breath before continuing, “But I can teach you.” Allura kneeled in the pooling blood as Scott was and he took her small hand, placing Mr. Lee’s inside of hers. Now with Allura’s and the dying teacher’s hands between both of his, Scott began to speak. “You managed to summon those blades at your wrists without knowing the incantation, right?” Violet orbs looked sternly at the white haired girl as he spoke, “Well, maybe if you actually recite the incantation the power levels will be increased…” Scott paused as he pandered the thought of his powers being increased and the effect they would have on others before continuing. “Now, I want you to close your eyes and relax. Isolate yourself from your surroundings. Don’t let anything distract you, you’re going to need all the energy you’ve got in that body of yours, got it?” Without waiting for an answer the soaked blonde continued, “Before, after, and while you recite the incantation I want you to focus all your positive energy on Mr. Lee, okay? Every last ounce of it.” He noted the angered look adorning the white haired female’s face and his voice perked up and a smile stretched across his face and spoke with a cheerful laugh, “To have this work you’re gonna havta turn that frown upside down!” Now with a softer, more sincere smile he said, “No more Miss Gloom, kay?” His spidery fingers wrapped harder around her hand, forcing her to grip Mr. Lee’s. “Picture yourself somewhere quiet… Peaceful. Imagine whatever it is that makes you happiest in life. Remember any moment that caused you to smile, even if it was just a twitch of the corner of your mouth I need, no... Mr. Lee needs you to try your best.” He spoke calmly, a faint hint of honest somberness underlying his almost cheerful tone.

"Can you...help me...?" She sounded so defeated, so… helpless that these few words came as a bit of a shock to Scott. Did they really just come from the Queen of Mean, the woman without a heart, the girl whose cold stare could freeze a man’s soul? Scotty didn’t know and didn’t pounder on the thought. Instead he spoke with a comforting tone, “Of course. All you have to do is listen to what I told you and everything should work out perfectly.”

An unnerving laugh from behind caused Scott’s body to go ridged. His violet gaze flicked from the deflated queen to the menacing figure looming above the spot he was crouched at. A chill tore through Scotty’s spine as this Lazarus character addressed him. Newblood? Did he just call me a noob? The corner of Scott’s mouth twitched upwards in a sarcastic smile, hiding his anger. The blonde took a deep breath, controlling his temper, and turned back to the still kneeling Allura.

"Do you think it's possible we can get stuck here..?" Allura spoke in a barely audible whisper and Scott followed her gaze. A raging tornado spiraled wildly in the direction of the students and Scotty’s jaw dropped slightly. “Wicked cool…” He spoke in an amazed whisper as he stared with wide, excited violet eyes at the danger heading their way. With nothing barring the tornado’s way, it tore through the thundering storm and swirling mist easily, closing the gap between it and the crowd of people fairly easily.

Scott reached into the soaked pocket of his water sodden khaki pants and searched for his cellphone. He cursed as his fingers wrapped around air and pocket lint. damn… I must have left it in my dorm… Scott rarely took pictures and it was just like his luck that at one of the few moments he wanted to capture a spectacular moment on film his camera phone was out of reach. “Where’s Kyle when ya need him…” He spoke his thoughts in a whisper as he longed for the camera that was always present hanging about his adoptive brother’s pale neck.

Scotty looked down in defeat and his eyes grew as he saw the blood mixing with the rain. “Shit! The teach… I totally spaced!” Shaking his head roughly, soaked golden locks whipping his face, Scott looked back at Allura. “Right, the incantation. Now I want you to repeat after me. Curate nisi sanetur auxilio crescere incipiat.” He spoke each word carefully and clearly, pronouncing each Latin syllable perfectly. “It’s very important to get the pronunciation correct so listen carefully one more time. Curate nisi sanetur auxilio crescere incipiat.” Certain the girl wouldn’t forget it, Scott smiled lightly, “And don’t forget to smile!”

Suddenly a strong foot came heavily out of nowhere, harshly smashing against the side of the fallen teacher’s head. The smile dropped from Scotts face and his eyes widened. He stared at the odd angle Mr. Lee’s head was now positioned in and the distraught emotions from before came rushing back. The blonde’s strong frame began to shake and his hands balled up into shaky fists. The emotions overflowed once more, framing his eyes in irate tears. To Scott’s good-fortune the frustrated tears were concealed by the rain that slicked his face.

The shaking blonde stood up from his crouch slowly, trying with all his might not to let his anger explode. A light chuckle emitted from his lips as he spoke, “Hey Laz…” He paused for a moment, glancing to find Lazarus turning slowly in Scott’s direction. “Don’t you know it’s impolite to a kick a man when he’s down?!” The anger was too much for Scott to bear and a ferocious fist propelled through the storming rain, coming in direct contact with Lazarus’s left cheek. The force of the blow caused the shorter male to stumble backwards, his dark hair whipping around. Scott’s breath came sharply and he took a deep breath before standing straight again. Without turning away from the stumbling male Scott spoke, “Remember, Curate nisi sanetur auxilio crescere incipiat and don’t let anything distract you, Allura.”

Lazarus was shocked. Not only had he just been punched in the face by a Newblood, but Lance was somehow gaining ground. Lazarus could barely move as Lance retook his Body. Lazarus pulled his fist back into a Punch, and threw Himself at Scott, intending to main Him. His Fist was only a few centimeters away from Scott's face when he stopped abruptly. Lance was somehow stopping him from hurting Scott.
