Description: Lizzie is a woman of average height. Literally. She's not tall enough to be considered 'tall', and she's not short enough to be considered 'short'. She's just... average; like pretty much everything else about her appearance. She's never in the latest fashion, but rather can be seen sporting an assortment of different workout outfits and other loose-fitting clothing items, unless she's "going out" somewhere specific. Her hair is a rich auburn and oak-tree brown, with natural red undertones. Her eyes are dark and large, like a frightened doe.
Personality:
{Artistic, Dorky, Reserved, Intelligent, Restless, Straightforward, Disciplined}
Lizzie is painfully loyal, to the point that it may even hurt her sometimes. Once sheâs decided sheâs on your side, sheâs by your side to the bitter end. She would do anything for the one she loves, even uproot and leave her entire family behind for her friends (again, being a little too loyal?). Lizzie is a charming young woman, it is very easy for her to make friends, as people just seem to like her despite having no real reason to. She likes to keep to herself, as large crowds make her a little nervous. Not to say that she doesnât enjoy a night out dancing with friends, because she does, but sheâs aware that many things could go wrong when sheâs in a crowd (did I mention she is a little over-cautious sometimes?).
Elizabeth has lived most of her life trying to be the 'perfect' daughter for her parents. She has taken piano, ballet, and singing lessons from the time she was four years old to current. In school she often missed out on football games and other activities her friends enjoyed, like movie nights, due to rehearsals and concerts. She was never the 'cool' girl in school, but she was always on honor roll.
Lizzie is wonderful at lying and good at keeping secrets, and while she believes that trust and honesty are the foundations of all stable relationships, she also believes that sometimes people can't handle the full truth.
She loves animals, particularly birds, because her mother used to call he âlittle birdâ. Robins and Blue Jays are her favorites. She secretly writes in a diary, religiously, every night. Sheâs also a huge, huge scardie cat-- Ghost stories and midnight walks are most certainly not for Lizzie. I mean, the girl sleeps with all of her limbs tucked under the covers for fear of a demon grabbing them if one dangles off (she reads a little too much...).
Over-all she is a spunky, soft spoken and driven young woman who loves to let loose every now and again, but basically has to be forced into doing it. Her family thinks she is very well-behaved, but that's only because she's never actually gotten caught sneaking out of the house. Lizzie struggles to maintain her 'perfect' appearance, because she genuinely wants to be the 'whole package'. This strive for perfection has driven her to great lengths, some she is struggling to come back from and some that she can never take back.
While on the whole Lizzie is a composed and proper young woman, once she is convinced to 'let loose' she quickly spirals into a dark place that is hard for her to come back from. She suffers from an addictive personality, and while large groups make her nervous, an audience excites her. She's the friend that gets drunk and goes off on 'adventures' at 3 in the morning on her own, winding up naked by someone's pool. One of these days her bipolar attempts to find who she is without her parent's strict regime around is going to come back around to bite her. Will she lose herself in the big city, or find who she's always wanted to be?

Bellerose Ansel was born in a small country-side house, in an untraditional water-birth via her parentâs bathtub, just outside of Paris, France. She grew up in a quiet life, taking dance lessons by the age of four, singing by the age of five and piano by the age of 6. Her mother was once a semi-famous Russian ballet dancer, and was insistent her daughter would learn the art as well. Her father, a Frenchman, worked for a local theater as a pianist, where he met Lizzieâs mother.
She was just fourteen years old when her parents died in the car accident, leaving Bellerose to their next of kinâher grandparents on her fatherâs side, who had migrated to America before Bellerose was born. She became a French-American resident under their care. It was her freshman year in high school, and she barely spoke a word of English. She was quick to go by Elizabeth or Lizzie, after being teased by some of the more asshole types at school. She was never going to be the most popular, she was not without friends. She became very close with a group of seven other students, and with no siblings to talk to, and only grandparents back home, they became her family. Her everything.
The day she turned 18 she inherited her parentâs life insurance money. She would never go without, money wise, but if given the choiceâĻ she would have given every penny to have her parents back. She has told no one about the large sum of money sheâs come into, or how she/her grandparents are affording to pay for the expensive ballet school in New York. At first she wasnât going to go, but her grandparents were insistent. They convinced her that it would have been her parentâs wishes for her, and so while they were not pleased that she was leaving with a group of people so youngâĻ they fully support her decision to go.
With their blessing and promises to call every week, Lizzie set off for New York with her second family. She got a small job at a flower shop on the corner right by the apartment as a means to explain how she's affording her rent, despite her initial lack of floral knowledge. However, as time progresses, she's actually started to fall in love with her job and now works there because she likes to. She's recently acquired a collection of books on flowers and can be found studying them between rehearsals.
**Will be adding more here after I collaborate with everyone on backstories. Iâd love for Lizzie to be someoneâs roommate! **
