Lucy is the oldest of the three Bellucci children. She was born three years after her parents, Adelina and Matteo, married. Matteo was an Italian citizen who met Adelina, an Italian-American, during their youth. Matteo was a Bellucci, the only son of Alessandro and Marie Bellucci, and after his father retired, he inherited the Bellucci wine company. Before marrying Matteo, Adelina was known as Adelina Ferrero, one of the two children of Michele Ferrero, the founder of the confectionery company Ferrero Group. Adelina and Matteo were both raised in Italy, but Adelina was born in the United States while her parents were on vacation, making her a citizen. Though the two knew each other since they were children, they only actually got to know each other when they were both in their late twenties and had separately moved to New York. Through mutual contacts, they ended up hanging out together and began dating when Adelina was twenty-eight and Matteo was thirty five. It was a late start (at least in Adelina's parents' eyes) but they fell in love, and married two years later. Adelina was thirty when she had her first child, Luciana. The family was residing in Milan at the time, and remained there for two years, before relocating to the states, where they wanted their children to be raised.
Luciana became a big sister a few months after the family arrived in California, when her brother, Michael, was born. Three years later, Serena was born, and the Bellucci family was complete. Lucy loved being a big sister. She wasn't one of those kids that ever worried about having to share their parents or not getting enough attention. She loved having siblings to play with and help out, and even as they grew up, she never lost that desire to have strong relationships with them. Though they didn't always appreciate her protectiveness as much as she wished they did, Lucy would describe her childhood with them as being positive.
She attended a private K-12 school near her home, and since she spent thirteen years there, she ended up with a group of very close friends. They've all physically went separate ways since graduating, but Luciana is happy to say that she's still friends with many of them today. Sometimes, she honestly does her best to keep some of the friendships at bay, since she's beginning to watch a lot of the girls get married, advance in their careers, or even start families, while she still feels like she's the same girl she was eight years ago when she left them. Following high school, she didn't attend college. She did okay in school but needed a break, and that one year gap ended up being two, and then three, and then somehow seven. Last year, she started attending culinary school, specializing in pastries, after taking a few classes with her friends, and she actually really enjoys it. She tells her parents that it's just a hobby, and that she'll go into the wine industry soon like they want (since they think it's too late/she's not "right" for anything else), but she can't imagine spending her life doing what her father does.
If Luciana's siblings hadn't agreed to sign onto the show, she likely would not have on her own. She gets far too much attention for just being a Bellucci as it is, so allowing people to tune into her life isn't something that she would ever want on her own. However, she wants to spend time with them, and make sure they don't do anything stupid on air, so here she is. After a year back in California, she's heading back to New York with the others for the summer, and she definitely doesn't know what to expect.
She cries easily. She refuses to read tabloids/the news. She usually sends her friends/family goodnight and good morning texts every day.
Good personality traits:
Compassionate, maternal, flexible, intuitive
Bad personality traits:
Insecure, closed off, emotional, sensitive
Personality:
Lucy has always had a maternal instinct in her. She's compassionate, caring, and always worrying about others more than herself. She's really the definition of a good friend, and is the girl who will wake up at three in the morning to pick you up an hour away if you're stranded. She's a good listener, and truly enjoys being able to help her friends with her problems. Interestingly, though, she rarely opens up to anyone about her own problems or feelings. She usually thinks that they're not important or as severe as everyone else's, and that she'd be selfish to complain about her own life when her friends have their own things going on. She hates being a burden to other people, and yet she rarely ever feels like anyone else is a burden to her, even if she's being taken advantage of or not being appreciated. While she does have an intuitive side to her, where she can just tell if something's wrong with someone even if they don't say so, she lacks that sense of certainty in a lot of other aspects of her life. Right now, especially, she's feeling very lost. She doesn't know what direction she wants to take her life in, and isn't very career-driven or goal-oriented. She tends to doubt herself a lot, and just doesn't know what she should do with her life, because she doesn't want to disappoint anyone or herself if she fails. Besides that, she also feels like she just doesn't know who she is yet, and is definitely scared to commit to a career, and a lot of things in her life in general.
She's sophisticated, but not to an extent where she's stuck up. Of course, she has her standards, but she's the type of person who's open to having friendships with most people, regardless of their financial status. What Lucy values more than anything is kindness and someone with a genuine character. She cannot stand being lied to, and usually tries to be honest, or at least when she knows that the truth won't hurt the person. Considering her upbringing, Lucy is definitely down to earth. Her values lie in family and friends, and emotional things over materialistic ones.
Though she's a great friend to have, and is certainly fun, she's not much of a partier. It's ironic considering that she's made a name for herself as a socialite, so attending parties and social events is at least a weekly event for her. Despite this, she's not the girl who's going to be dancing on the bar top or taking body shots. She'll go to parties if they're being hosted by people who she's close with, but she prefers to just hang out at home and have movie nights over that. She really only does it to appease her friends, who typically are also socialites or in that crowd.
Greatest joys in life:
She loves her siblings, friends, good wine, and simple, relaxing days.
Greatest fears:
She fears that she's always going to be unsure about what to do in life. She doesn't think she could live without her siblings or parents, and is scared of dogs.
Life philosophy:
"The sunrise, of course, doesnât care if we watch it or not. It will keep on being beautiful, even if no one bothers to look at it."

Lucy was never a "daddy's girl" or anything, but she'd consider herself to have a good relationship with her father. He's a very emotionally guarded and strong man, which doesn't exactly mesh well with the side of her that wants to see people's emotions and connect with them, so they aren't extremely close, but it's good. She's come to terms with it and doesn't expect him to be telling her he loves her every day. She knows she has it better than a lot of people, and she's grateful for all of the hard work her father has put in to making sure their family is well off.
Mother: Adelina Bellucci: 56 years old: Living
Lucy usually gets along with her mother, but they're just so different. She definitely feels like she isn't what her mother wants her to be and though she doesn't act like it, it does bother. She's not as exuberant and adventurous as her sister, and she's never the one being compared to the young, fun woman that her mother used to be. Adelina insists that she's proud of Luciana no matter what she does, but sometimes, Lucy doubts the authenticity of it. She feels like her mother is a bit too caught up in her own social life and on occasions, feels like the only responsible female in the family.
Brother: Michael Bellucci: 24 years old: Living
Lucy is close with her brother but their relationship is... complicated. She wishes that he was more open with her and that he was more expressive about his feelings. She feels like he's distanced himself from the family and that he's constantly seeking out new girls and being wild because he's trying to find himself, and that he thinks maybe he'll find himself in one of them. She wishes that he would slow down, but while she has been frustrated with him lately, she's still going to be there for him no matter what he does. Not surprisingly, Michael was interested in doing the show because he thought the extra publicity would be fun. Aside from their mother's enthusiasm about doing it, Michael's reaction was probably the biggest reason why Lucy agreed to sign on as well. It meant that she would at least be guaranteed some time to spend with her brother.
Sister: Serena Bellucci: 21 years old: Living
Lucy wouldn't know where to begin when describing her relationship with her little sister. They're five years apart, which isn't that much of a difference, but with their contrasting personalities, Lucy feels like she's at least ten years older than Serena. In a sense, she feels like her sister's recklessness and immaturity is normal for a young girl, but at the same time, she wishes her sister would become responsible. She wants so much for her, despite how irritating she can be, but out of everyone, Serena probably tests her patience the most. They have a normal sister relationship most of the time, but Luciana can't help but to go "mom" on Serena sometimes when she starts getting out of control.
