+Singing | She has a very nice voice and enjoys singing. It relieves stress.
+Bernard "Bones" Calvert, her blood slave | After "dieting" by drinking animal blood for a decade or so, human blood is oh so tasty. She's fortunate to have found the quiet and kind man to be her blood slave, though they have yet to be properly introduced.
+Witches | None of them have done anything to piss her off, so they're on her good side.
+Stormy Nights | She likes rain in general, but there's something particularly beautiful about thunder and lightning to her.
+Trees | They can be quite beautiful and are also fun to climb.
+Schuyler MacKelter | He is her favourite coven mate other than FC: Ed Westwick. She also appreciates that he understands her dislike of vampirism.
+FC: Ed Westwick | Though she resents him for turning her, she also can't help but see him as an older brother.
|Dislikes|
-Vampirism | She despises herself as being a bloodsucking monster. Plus, she's bound to be this way forever unless she meets a brutal end.
-Werewolves | It's no secret that her coven and the local pack are enemies. Their deep rooted hatred of each other knows no bounds. Aria had a problem with the former Alpha in particular, resulting in his death.
-Nicholas Hale | He was the previous Alpha's Beta and has since become the Alpha. She knows that he would be happy to see her dead. She could say the same for him.
-Sunlight | It can be irritating at times. Aria also doesn't like the color yellow.
-Yellow | It's too bright and happy a color for her liking.
-Alcohol | Something bad happened to her while she was drunk once...
-Full Moons | It means that all of those pissy werewolves will turn at once.
|Personality|
Aria is unique in that she does not enjoy being a vampire. While others see advantages to being immortal, she can't think of anything worse than living forever. Living forever is its own form of death to her, knowing that she's destined to be a bloodsucker. While she hates what she is and having to do what she does, she does not have a death wish. She does not actively seek someone to put a stake in her heart or decapitate her. Being a disgruntled vampire, she finds that there can be difficulties getting along with others of her kind.
The vampire has two sides to her, one which she shows to most and the other which she mainly shows to her coven. To the world, she is reserved, bitter, cautious, and distant. She will not go out of her way to talk to you, but she will not ignore you if you talk to her. However, she likely won't offer off wordy answers. When around her coven, she opens up more and is able to let loose because she knows they won't harm her.
|History|
Aria's family immigrated to America in 1898 when she was 20 years old. Her family consisted of her paternal grandparents, her parents, and her five brothers and sisters. They resided in New York City up until Aria's "death," which occurred 2 years after they moved to America.
The young woman had been walking alone at night, which she knew was a mistake. However, it was either walk home alone or sit outside under a street lamp all night. While walking home, she felt as though somebody was following her. However, when she would turn around to check nobody would be there. She continued on, assuring herself that her imagination was getting the better of her. The city could be dangerous, but what were the chances of something awful happening to her?
Unfortunately, by chance or by fate, something awful did happen. FC: Ed Westwick had been trailing her, planning on turning her. He quickly attacked her and changed her, creating her into the immortal bloodsucker she is today.
Believing their daughter to be dead and stricken with grief, her family moved out of the city. For awhile, the young vampire would watch their lives from a distance. But knowing that she couldn't return to her family, she made the hard decision of saying goodbye to them forever. Angry at FC: Ed Westwick for changing her into a terrible thing, she spent the next few years retaliating against him by callously murdering people by feeding on them. It was during these times that she learned to also control her hunger, which was quite ravenous.
Eventually, FC: Ed Westwick convinced Aria to stop murdering people. He also informed her that it was possible to feed from animals, which she had not even considered. Since then, she has been on and off of "diets" where she feeds from animals. Currently, she is one year out from a decade or so long "diet" of animal blood. While she would prefer to always feed from animals, it just can't compare to human blood.
At some point, Aria and FC: Ed Westwick moved to the French Quarter in New Orleans, where they met the MacKelter brothers and became a part of their coven. She rarely discusses her past life with her coven mates.
The Former Alpha's Death:
Aria is responsible for the former Alpha's death. Just how many of the other supernaturals are aware of this she doesn't know. However, the MacKelter brothers and Nicholas Hale definitely know. The stories that both of them attribute to the Alpha's death are not entirely true though. While she directly told the brothers what she did, she did not tell them the truth as to why. Nicholas on the other hand, somehow figured out that it was her. She's certain that he wouldn't care about the details anyway.
While at a bar a couple of months ago, Aria ran into the former Alpha, Ryan. Both had too much to drink that night, not realizing what the other was. They drunkenly found a hotel room where they could be intimate.
When Aria awoke, Ryan was about to decapitate her with his bare hands. She quickly fought back, the two struggling in the hotel room to kill the other. Lucky for her, she was carrying her small silver knife. It wouldn't be able to cut him deep enough to kill him, but it was enough to cause him pain when she stabbed him. Distracted, Aria was able to grab her stuff and get away.
A few days later, the two encountered one another. However, they were in public. To attack each other violently in front of the humans would be foolish on both of their parts. Instead, they exchanged a few threats. They both agreed that their respective families wouldn't find out about them sleeping together. Ryan proceeded to threaten to attack Aria's blood slave, Bones. In turn, she threatened to attack either Nicholas or one of Ryan's family members. She wasn't planning on holding true to her words, only saying them to intimidate him.
He, however, had been serious about attacking Bones. Aria was about to feed from her blood slave when Ryan attacked them. She managed to get Bones to safety before Ryan could do any serious harm or kill him. (She compelled Bones to forget this encounter of course.) The vampire and werewolf continued to fight, both landing blows on each other. Aria managed to jump onto his back and break his neck before ripping his head off, effectively killing him. She carried his head and body to a nearby bayou, where she burnt them.
The story she told the brothers lacked the details about her and Ryan's one night stand and Ryan attacking her blood slave. Instead, she simply told the brothers that the Alpha had attacked her and she had to put him in his place. Regardless, Aria knows that she has sparked a full blown war between the werewolves and vampires. Tensions were already high before the former Alpha's death. Now, the werewolves seem more determined than ever to fight against the ruling vampires. She understands the consequences of her actions, but also see them as something that would have happened sooner or later.
