Having been born to relatively short parents didn't give Liam much of an advantage in that department. He stands at about five feet, seven inches (though he hopes to gain a couple more inches as he gets older, but doesn't actually have a lot of hopes) and weighs around 130 lbs give or take. He has always been a small boy, ever since he was born. Most of the time, it's to his advantage, but there are a few instances in which his height and stature work against him. Much like his body, Liam's face and facial features are petite. His eyes and mouth are narrow, and his nose can be described as a button nose. This too works to his advantage, as his facial structure is small and perfectly accommodating for his features.

His style can be described as comfort chic. Because he is a dancer, half of the time he can be spotted in sweatpants and t-shrts but never bland. They're normally bright colors or sport some sort of logo on them. On the days he's not dancing (which isn't very often) he wears whatever fits his mood. Though it normally consists of jeans, shirt, jacket and sneakers, the colors and styles of these vary greatly depending on what he's got planned for the rest of the day. One thing is for certain, however; Liam always looks good.

Always the optimist: Leo was basically born with a smile on his face, and yes, he's been through some hardships but he's always managed to bounce right back up. He enjoys life too much to give up. A class clown. In his former middle school he was that one kid in class that always made everyone laugh when they weren't supposed to, the one that laughs too loudly or too much, the one to make odd faces or incoherent noises when confused. He doesn't mind making a fool of himself and being outrageous if it means he gets to put a smile on his friends' faces. One of the most selfless people you'll ever meet: Leo doesn't have a selfish bone in his body. He's always looking for the benefit of others. His grandparents always taught him that living for others is much more enjoyable than living only for yourself. He has always taken that to heart. He can be quite naive at times. He doesn't find it hard to trust people and will willingly give anyone his friendship. When in a relationship, he will give the other person 110% of himself. Because of this, some tend to take advantage of him, and regardless of how many times it happens, he never learns his lesson. However, he isn't a complete pushover. He's not afraid of standing up for himself or his friends when needed, and if you do him wrong once it will be extremely difficult to regain his trust. He can be fairly resentful in that aspect. It's not impossible for said person to gain his trust again, but it is extremely difficult. But he's loyal and if you treat him kindly, you'll have a lifelong friend. He also has a shy side to him, in the sense that he blushes easily when complimented, and finds it too difficult to tell someone he likes them. All of the relationships he's had in the past have been after the other person's confession. And the one time he did try to do it himself he was shut down. He can be quite the scatterbrain always misplacing or forgetting things or events. But overall, he's passionate. A real sweetheart who isn't afraid to give his everything to the people he loves.

ImageImageLiam has been dancing from the moment he learned how to stand up on his own two feet. At first, it started out as an entertainment for family members when they came around for Christmas, but as Liam grew older and more experienced, his dancing improved more and more as the days passed. During his middle school years, Liam would watching dancing shows and attempt to mimick their movements. He would always have them down within a few minutes. Aside from dance, Liam taught himself how to play the guitar, and learned how to play the piano from his grandmother. He also really loves photography.

Liam's mother (of Thai descent) and father (of Chinese descent) met in high school. They were high school sweethearts and were even named prom king and queen. Towards the end of their senior year, his mother discovered she was pregnant with Liam. Though his father promised he would stay by her side through heaven and hell, he left her to fend for herself the moment they graduated. Luckily, her parents were kind. They helped take care of her during the pregnancy and helped take care of baby Liam while his mother worked to provide for him and went to school to get some sort of degree. Eventually she found a good, steady job and the two of them moved out. It was nothing but smooth sailing for a while. When he was only eight years old, his mother was scheduled to go on a business trip to France. His grandparents were more than willing to look after him while she was gone, and Liam didn't fuss. She was planned to be back a week later, but on her flight back there was a bad storm and the small plane was knocked out of the sky. They found the remains hours later, but there were no survivors. From there on out, Liam stayed with his grandparents.

He'd always been a strong boy, but after losing his mother, his strength and confidence plummeted. He was much quieter during his late middle school years and some kids took advantage of that and bullied him nonstop. For being too pretty, for being too quiet, for being too short, for being too smart. Anything they could really think of. It got to the point where he would cry for hours and hours because he didn't want to go to school the next day. His grandparents were at a loss for what to do, so they moved towns and Liam started at a new school. Gracewood Academy, to be exact. Liam auditioned for their dance program and was accepted as one of their top candidates. His confidence was still shattered, just like his little heart, but the kids at this new school were kinder. It wasn't long before he found a good group of friends. From there on out, Liam began his road to recovery. His confidence began to rise once again, he's made many good friends and his smile is as bright as ever. However, the scars of the past are still there, and as much as he likes to tell himself he has fully recovered, there's still a very scared and sensitive boy hiding deep down.

So begins...

Back for another year at Gracewood, and his final year. The feeling was kind of bitter-sweet to Liam. He was happy to be moving on, but he would miss the school and everything it gave him once he left. It had been a rather eventful 3 years, though mostly in a positive way. His time at the school had taught him many things. One thing it did not teach him, however, was how to be on time. Liam knew his roommate must have been in the dorm by now, probably already setting up his belongings, if not finished doing so. Meanwhile here His was, still about twenty minutes away from campus. Not that it bothered him any. Today was a slow day. A day to arrive, set up and just relax. There was no rule saying he had to be there at a certain time. Still, he hoped that his being late didn’t land him the top bunk like it had the previous years. Not only did he not like heights, but having to climb to his bed made him feel even more partite than what he already was.

Several classic rock songs later, the school’s main building finally came into view, and soon enough, Liam was pulling into the parking lot. It wasn’t as full as he’d expected it to be, which meant he quite possibly was not that late. Finding a parking spot was rather easy. The difficult part came next. The dancer looked at his belongings with scrunched brows, attempting to fabricate a system in which he could take everything in one single trip. He first took hold of his guitar case, wearing the straps like a book bag, followed by his largest suitcase and his duffle bag, mostly filled with his more comfortable dance shoes. He managed to pick everything up, close the trunk and lock his car. The Senior building was only a few steps away, surely he could make it. However, the moment he began to walk, his phone began to buzz in his back pocket. ”Seriously?” he groaned, deciding to ignore whomever it may be, and continued to walk.

The inside of the building was just as lavish as the seniors from previous years had described it. They certainly hadn’t held back for this one. And Liam couldn’t lie, it felt good to finally be living it rather than just hearing about it. What room was it again?. The small boy wracked his brain for what he thought was supposed to be his new room number, the phone in his pocket once again reminding him that it was there. With a dramatic groan, Liam finally came to a stop, setting his duffle bag on the ground before taking hold of the device. The message Missed Calls From Emily flashed across the screen. He took a moment to catch his breath before hitting the call back button. Within seconds, his best friend’s voice was on the other end. ”Where are you? I’ve been calling you for an eternity!” with an eye roll, Liam attempted to pick up his bag again, wondering he could still walk while talking on the phone. ”I’m trying to find my room without being crushed to death by my luggage, can you maybe…I don’t know, wait a bit?” he said, stopping once again after realizing he needed his right arm’s full capacity.

The girl sighed on the other end of the line. ”Fine. But just so you know, Jake is looking for you.” as if by instinct, Liam made a choking noise at the sound of the name. Why would his possessive ex-boyfriend be looking for him? That’s the one person he had zero desire of seeing or talking to ever again. ”Tell him he can fuck right off, I don’t want to talk to him,” picking up the duffle bag once more, Liam decided to try again, this time actually managing to walk quite the distance while Emily chatted his ear off. ”Anyways, let's have dinner together! Find me later?” coming to a stop in front of the room he thought should be his, Liam exhaled. ”Yes ma’am.”. Their goodbyes were said, and Liam slipped the phone back into his pocket, but not before double checking that this was, in fact, his assigned room. 435…this is the one.. He decided to try the door first, which was thankfully unlocked, saving him the struggle of having to rummage for the key. Two things caught his attention the moment he stepped inside. First was the layout of the place. This was not an ordinary dorm like the rest. From the looks of it, he’d be having his own room. There were even a mini living room and kitchenette. Second was the handsome guy at the corner of the apartment. Liam was certain he’d seen his face before, around the school halls and at various showcases. Mr. Perfect is what the girls liked to call him, though Liam wasn’t entirely sure he agreed. Nonetheless, he treated him with the same charm and cheerfulness he did anyone else. ”Hey!” he greeted, setting down his belongings on the couch for the time being. He let the guitar case rest in the ground. ”Guess you’re my roommate? I’m Liam” his introduction came with the brightest smile he could manage as he extended his hand to greet the stranger.

A few tings could be heard from when his fork and knife would hit the plate. He sat his utensils down then reached up a little to grabbed the small glass of orange juice that was in front of him. His ears heard movement come from the door now and luckily, he was a bit hidden behind a wall so he could not be seen quite yet. He decided to stay put for now and heard his roommate say hey toward him. It definitely wasn't Justin's voice so now he was even more eager to see who he was rooming with. When the male came into full view with his bright smile and extended his hand, Spencer looked at him then his hand and scoffed. Spencer proceeded to pick up his fork and knife then pointed toward the other plate with his utensils.

"Food's over there, dude." He said as he did not even bother to look at this so-called Liam person because he was really bummed that it wasn't someone that he had already known. Spencer did not even try to hide how he was currently feeling. "I am Spencer, by the way." He spoke, not even looking in his direction still. Since he had been there for a while, he had finished up his breakfast and slammed his utensils onto his plate before picking it up and going over to the sink, placing it down inside along with his glass.

Spencer was a bit upset at this point as he went back to where his luggage was and started unzipping his bags but stared at Liam's briefly. He had a rather devious thought come across his mind, which of course, Spencer being Spencer listened to and did whatever he was thinking. Spencer walked over and grabbed Liam's belongings then placed them outside of the door, not even hiding the fact that he did it.

"Sorry, dude but there must be some sort of mistake. You cannot be my roommate." Spencer finally said a bit loudly and eyed Liam with his hands placed upon his hips. His mind began to wonder as he stood there looking at Liam. Yes, he was adorable and probably his type but he did not want to deal with this during his time at Gracewood this year. What was this? Maybe his feelings toward guys and did not want his friends to know that his roommate was homosexual, which was quite obvious from when he has seen him around.

"Dude, just go see Mrs. Nicole and get yourself a new roommate, okay?" He had said while beginning to unpack his belongings and stuffed them in their appropriate spots. Wondering how Liam might take his actions and what has already been done to him. Of course, Spencer had a little smirk upon his face while he did everything. "Oh and if you see Justin out there, tell him to come here for a minute." He muttered as if Liam was really going to leave the room.

With a nickname like "Mr. Perfect", Liam had expected the guy to be a gentleman. Or at the very least, take his handshake. Clearly, his expectedtations had been too high. The dancer watched with slight annoyance as his new roommate, Spencer as he so rudely introduced himself, gave him the utmost minimal attention. He eyed the food, guessing this guy had been the one to cook it, and turned his attention back to the male, arms crossed across his chest, his once bright smile now morphed into an unimpressed frown. He didn't say a word, only watched as Spencer took it upon himself to move his belongings to the hallway and came back to protest.

Mistake? The only mistake Liam could think of was thinking that someone so arrogant could actually be a decent person. He had seen how girls hovered around Spencer as if he were the last drop of water in the Sahara, one of the most popular guys in school, most likely to be voted prom king or some bullshit like that, and he always told himself to never judge a person without knowing them. But that seemed to be much more difficult now that he had actually spoken to the guy in person. They'd never met before, but Liam could take a wild guess as to why Spencer didn't want him around. God forbid his ego and fragile masculinity be damaged all because he's rooming with a gay guy.

"Are you done?" Liam asked after Spencer had finished his little tantrum. Without another word, Liam turned on his heels and walked to his belongings, dragging them back inside and into the room that had been left empty. He sat his duffle bag and the guitar case on the bed, and let the suitcase stand in a corner of the bedroom, pulling off his jacket and glasses and placing them both on top of it. "There's no mistake, I don't know a Justin and if you've really got your panties that much in a bunch over this then go talk to Mrs. Nicole yourself." Liam stated, matter-of-factly, as he walked back out into the living room-dining room area, coming to a stop just a few inches in front of Spencer. He eyed him for a moment, lifting a brow in his direction, and scoffed. "Mr. Perfect my ass..." he muttered before reaching over, taking the plate and utensils that were meant for him, and turning to head back to his new room. "Thanks for the food!".

Spencer heard Liam's question about him being done and then seen him as he was grabbing his belongings from the hallway and sitting them on top of the bed opposite of his own. He had let out a small scoff after seeing that then seen that he's getting a bit too comfortable by taking off his jacket and glasses. "Oh, brother." He had muttered underneath his breath just as Liam had approached him while he was unpacking his clothing, which he had stopped to do. Spencer then crossed his arms over his chest and let out a small breath just as Liam's mouth partd to speak, ultimately knowing that Liam was going to try and insult him somehow.

He let Liam say whatever it was that he needed to say then stepped past him, letting him hear his scoff and muttered words."Whatever, dude." He had said while he kept on walking and opened up the closet before he turned around and eyed Liam, who had walked away. "Just don't get too comfortable!" Spencer shouted out toward him then heard his own retort about the food. Spencer was still unpacking but was so freaking annoyed by this point and honestly thought to himself that he was overreacting.

"Fuck." He had spoken to himself lowly while he leaned his head back before he dropped a piece of his clothing and went to where Liam was. "Look, I am sorry." Spencer said as he leaned against the frame of the doorway, arms folded beneath his chest this time and eyes sincerely directed toward Liam. "You can either accept it or not, I really do not care but since you're here, we should at least try to get along, I guess." Spencer muttered, having a bit of a change of heart within the moment.

He had shrugged before he turned heel and started to walk back to his side of the room, not really looking for Liam to forgive him but honestly, Spencer could use Liam to his advantage. He could really use him to study with and help him out with his homework or something around that area. Spencer continued to unpack his belongings then sat down on the edge of the bed, the palms of his hands covered up his face as he had sighed and had fallen back first onto his bed. It was getting rather hot inside of their room and he had no idea why.

Spencer removed his shirt to reveal his muscular body and abs, along with a four-pac and semi v-cut. He had stood up and started to pace on the side of his room but not about Liam, no but what was he going to do about his closeted situation since classes were starting up soon. He has kept it a secret for so freaking long and do not know how to really, really feel at this point. Spencer was literally about to freak the fuck out.

Liam wasn't hurt by the fact that Spencer didn't want him as a roommate, but rather annoyed that he'd have to deal with an arrogant jerk every day for the rest of his senior year. He took a bite of the food that said jerk had cooked, ignoring his comment about not getting too comfortable, and sat the plate down on one of the nightstand. Just ignore him for now, Liam. He gave himself a mental pep talk as he stared at his belongings. He needed to unpack as soon as possible and head straight to the main dance studio. The senior showcase was fast approaching, and Liam was in charge of the part of the show the dance department would be putting on and still needed to touch up some of the choreographies before sharing them with everyone else. He exhaled softly and moved the large suitcase from the floor to the bed, unzipping it to bring out its contents. He'd been so caught up in the task, he didn't even hear Spencer's footsteps.

"Look, I am sorry." the small boy's head raised as he twirled around to face the guy. There was an odd look on his face, a look Liam couldn't quite place. "You can either accept it or not, I really do not care but since you're here, we should at least try to get along, I guess." Though he had a point, Liam kept to himself the fact that Spencer had been the one to start the feud. He decided to just accept the apology but wasn't even given a chance to respond as Spencer walked away before he could. Liam bit on his bottom lip for a moment, deciding to leave things be for now. He wasn't one to hold grudges, and if Spencer was decent enough to apologize, then Liam could surely move passed it.

It took a while to pull everything out of their hiding place and into their new home for the next 9 months. Turns out he'd brought a lot more than he'd planned on. Thankfully, the senior dorms not only had dressers but a decent sized closet as well. "Finally" he exhaled, shoving the suitcase into the back of the closet. He then proceeded to pull out a pair of sweatpants, t-shirt, and comfortable sneakers. Anyone that knew Liam knew that this attire meant it was time to get serious. He walked out into the common area, heading first to the refrigerator to grab a bottle and water, before making a quick stop by Spencer's room after deciding it was probably best to make peace before leaving. "Tell you what." he started, leaning against the doorframe just as Spencer had done before. "I'll make dinner tonight to pay you back from the delicious omelet, and we can start off fresh." He put on a genuine smile, not as big and bright as when he'd first walked in, but enough to let Spencer know he accepted the apology.

He had ran his hand and fingers through his smooth combed up locks of hair and let out another sigh. Spencer never really felt this type of way, stumbling down to his emotions but around Liam, it seemingly gelt a bit different. He walked over to the mirror, which was connected to the top of his dresser and heard footsteps approaching. It had to be Liam's since he did not hear any other voices in the dorm other than his own. He turned around to face Liam, crossing his arms over his chest while gluing his buttocks to the dresser and listening to him.

Liam wanted to make amends with him and Spencer felt so relieved. Now, he can go back to being the person that he actually is but probably not toward Liam. He had wanted to make him dinner for tonight to make up for the breakfast from earlier and Spencer rose a brow up at him. "You're not going to poison me, are you?" He had joked while lifting himself up from the dresser and walked over to the bed to retrieve his shirt, which he had taken off a few minutes before.

"I am only kidding, Liam." Spencer muttered genuinely toward Liam with a little laugh following those words. He had walked a few inches in front of Liam now and rested one hand upon the door frame while the other rested upon his hip. His gaze met with Liam's and that charming smile flashed toward Liam. "You're a dancer, right?" He asked but it wasn't like he did not already know because he did. Just trying to make conversation with him for the time being.

"I feel like later on down the road. We should work together." Spencer mentioned, letting the offer ponder through Liam's mind for the moment as he licked his lips a little. It seems like fate that they have been roomed together so why not take a chance upon this opportunity. He had leaned in a bit closer to Liam now and flashed another charming smile, which was to lure him in and take acceptance to his offer. "What do you say?" He had asked and wonder what Liam's response was going to be.

Liam half expected Spencer to come back at him with more snarky comments. Possibly something about how he didn't need anyone to cook for him, or something along those lines. But instead, he joked about Liam's evil plans to poison him with food. The dancer lifted a brow, amused grin in place, as he let his head rest against the doorframe. "Well" he said, bringing a finger to his chin as if he were considering the idea. "I can't say i won't be tempted." he kept his smile, making it clear to Spencer that he was also joking. In all honesty, this was going much smoother than he'd expected it to, considering just a few minutes prior, Spencer had all but kicked him out of the dorm room.

As the male moved to pull on his shirt, Liam kept his gaze low. Lord knows what he'd be accused of thinking if he'd kept his eyes on Spencer's half-naked body. It seemed to be a theme with any straight man he met. They all are convinced that Liam has a thing for them, even though the thoughts never crossed his mind. From there on, they are either offended if Liam denies any attraction to them, or disgusted if he admits to them. There’s no possible way to win with them. For the sake of his sanity, the boy hoped Spencer wouldn't be the same.

"You're a dancer, right?" Liam lifted his gaze to find Spencer now fully dressed and walking in his direction. "Right." he nodded, wondering where this question was going to take him. The taller boy moved until the two were an almost uncomfortable distance from one another. Liam shifted slightly on his feet, pushing himself off the doorframe to stand up straight. Even then, Spencer almost toward over him. Oh, how great it must feel to be that tall. However, the height difference was the least of his worries right now. Spencer was close, a bit too close and Liam couldn’t tell if the guy was doing it on purpose or not. On the likely chance that he was, Liam shoved his free hand into his pocket, making sure to look Spencer right in the eye to make it very clear that he was neither intimidated nor flustered by his proximity. Even if it wasn’t one hundred percent true.

” Work together?” he eyed the male in front of him, the gears in his head turning at an unusual speed. Why would Spencer want to work with him? Had he even seen Liam dance? Granted, it was a possibility that he had at previous showcases, especially given that Liam was normally at the front of the dance department performances. ”Hmm...” this time he didn’t have to pretend to be in thought, he really was thinking about the possibility of the two working on something together, and all the possible ways it could turn out. Opting to play hard to get, if only for long enough to figure out what Spencer was up to, Liam responded with a slight grin, gently double tapping Spencer’s cheek with his palm. ”I’ll think about it.”

With that, he turned on his heels, not wanting to use up any more of his free time on things that didn’t involve preparing for the showcase. In all honesty, working with Spencer didn’t sound too bad. Liam would more than likely accept, but the guy didn’t need to know that just yet.

Spencer could not help himself to make a face toward Liam, who mentioned that he would think about poisoning him or not. Of course, Spencer knew that he was joking or was he? He quickly erased the thought from his mind because it was quite clear that he was joking. He was coined as Mr. Perfect and felt a bit bad and a little guilty at the way he has treated Liam this far, especially since they have just met. He did not want to be perceived a certain type of way in Liam's eyes yet but know that he already probably is from his actions earlier. He just hoped to himself that their dinner talk can squash it and they could become friends. If not, best friends then at least have some sort of mutual bond.

His eyes scanned over Liam for the moment and he had looked a bit uncomfortable. Spencer took a few steps back and stood upright off of the doorframe right now. Gosh, he wished that he was open about his sexuality so that he can tell Liam how good he had looked or something in that region of compliments. He could not help but bit his bottom lip with his upper teeth as he went back to looking into Liam's gaze, nodding his head at his question words. "Yeah. I think that we should work together." He had added just before Liam's palm rose up and double tapped him on the cheek and he muttered that he had to think about it.

Spencer did not really know how to feel but his touch sent quite the shock throughout his body. It was a feeling that Spencer was not and could not fight and honestly, he liked this feeling. "I did not hear a no." Spencer said jokingly as Liam walked off and scoffed to himself because he knew that Liam was trying to play hard to get. Spencer has perfected that himself over the years and studied that Liam was using it against him quickly.

Time went by and seemingly fast as he was already putting cocoa butter moisturizing on his face, neck, and wrists. His nose crinkled up at the aroma that was coming from the kitchen and even smiled a little. It smelt so freaking good and Spencer just had to go and get a preview along with a sample of what Liam was cooking up inside of the kitchen. He had on the same clothes from earlier but still looked himself over in the mirror before he walked out of his room and into the kitchen.

Spencer walked over toward Liam and stood beside him, flashing a charming smile his way as he grabbed a fork and dipped in the pot, stabbing a few ingredients with the utensil. He then held it inches away from his mouth and blew on them to cool them down before he placed them inside of his mouth, chewing it. "Mmm." Spencer hummed before he swallowed the food and licked his lips a little. "Smells and tastes good, Liam. I'm impressed." He said. "I'll go and set the table for us." Spencer walked over toward the cabinet and grabbed two plates and glasses then reached inside a nearby drawer and grabbed forks along with knives.

From there, he had walked to the dining table and began to set it with a smile. He knew that this dinner was going to go by smoothly and couldn't really wait for the delicious food to be presented so they could talk and eat.

Having tucked Spencer's offer into the back of his mind, Liam spent the greater half of his day practicing. The dance studio was fairly empty, save a few students that had joined him an hour or so into his practice. He was thankful for it, as he didn't have to work alone. Granted, he did most of the choreography, but having other minds fresh and giving their opinions made the task a bit more bearable/ By the time he realized, it was already time to get started on dinner. He had promised Spencer he'd cook, and Liam was not one to go back on his word. SO he parted ways with everyone, quickly making his way back to the dorm room. He was thankful Spencer wasn't there. This gave him enough time to shower, not wanting to cook covered in sweat and change into change into some clean clothes.

By the time Spencer made it back, Liam was showered, dressed and had returned with the ingredients for the dish of the night. It had been a while since he'd cooked for anyone but himself. His previous dorms never had a kitchen such as this, and during his time away from school his grandmother never allowed him to cook. She strived to pamper him as much as she possibly could, even after Liam's insisting that he needed to keep practicing his cooking otherwise he'd forget. For this reason, mainly, is that he decided to stick with something he'd cooked many times before and knew how to do well. His grandmother's Pad Thai recipe, which had been the first thing she taught him how to cook. He'd made it so many times now, it had become almost second nature. And somehow, it tasted even better each and every time he made it.

His focus was on the pot of noodles in front of him as he stirred in the meat and vegetables. He could see Spencer approaching out of the corner of his eye, but decided to keep them on the food to ensure he didn't mess anything up. He watched as a fork reached into the pot and attempted to playfully swat it away, but to no avail. "Smells and tastes good, Liam. I'm impressed." The small boy smiled at the sounds of approval as he added the finishing touches, while Spencer set the table. "Dancing isn't the only thing I'm good at, you know." he commented, grabbing a large bowl from one of the cupboards and dumping a good amount of noodles into it. He'd made plenty, as he'd gotten the feeling Spencer was the type of guy to go for seconds. And in all honesty, Liam didn't stray too far behind. Because of his small frame, many were often surprised to find he could eat up to four times his weight. After the noodles, he moved on to place the pot stickers and their sauce into a plate as well. "Bon apetit!" he declared, setting down the dishes at the center of the table and took a seat. "Ever had Thair food before?" a small part of him hoped this would be a first time experience for Spencer, that way he could proudly say he taught him something new.

Spencer looked back toward Liam with a smile following his comment before he went back to setting up the table, which he had finished just as Liam walked in. He had sat down then eyed Liam as he did the same and declared for them to go ahead and dig in. Spencer did not even hesitate to do so as he shook his head upon Liam's question. "No. Can't say that I have, Liam." He admitted with the truth as he grabbed the utensils and started to eat a little. It was still good and he had let out a satisfied moan then pointed his utensil at Liam.

"This is amazing," Spencer muttered then went back to eating. His hand reached out to grab his napkin, which he dabbed against the corner of his lips then looked at Liam. "So, Liam, I guess we should take this opportunity and learn about each other." He said before he snapped his fingers and realized that they needed something to wash their dinner down with. "Hold on a second." Spencer rose up from his seat at that and walked around the corner and opened the fridge, grabbing two Budweiser beer bottles then went back to the dining area, sitting a bottle in front of Liam. "I hope you drink beer."

Spencer said as he sat down across from Liam again then exhaled a small breath. "Where were we?" He asked as if he did not really know. "Ah. I believe you were going to tell me a little bit about yourself." A smile, which showed little teeth, came over his lips as he could not wait to hear this from Liam. This was the opportunity that they could get to know each other better and just bond a little bit. Spencer was a bit harsh with Liam from the start and really wanted to make up for it. This dinner seemed like a better time than any in his own opinion.

Whether Spencer truly wanted to mend things with Liam or not, the boy couldn’t tell. He’d treated him so coldly only seconds after meeting, yet here he was, sitting at the table with the very person he wanted to kick out just a few hours earlier. Liam’s eyes followed Spencer’s every movement as he took the first bite of the food. The excitement on the cook’s face was almost too obvious the second Spencer verbally approved of his cooking. Not necessarily because of who was approving it, but more so because Liam was afraid he’d lost his touch. Spencer’s comment renewed the dancer’s confidence in his culinary skills and perhaps earned him a few points with the new roommate.

But Spencer’s sudden interesting in him was something he hadn’t entirely prepared for. For a moment, Liam could only stare blankly like a deer in the headlights, blinking only when Spencer moved to get them drinks. Liam had always been a talkative boy. He could go on and on about the things he loved. His dancing, photography, playing instruments, his love of all things sweet. It just so happened that anytime someone asked him to talk about himself, suddenly he was all out of words. Normally, he’d resort to bringing up the fact he was a dancer as some sort of conversation started, but Spencer already knew that.

”Well…” he brought a fork full of noodles into his mouth to excuse his silence before taking hold of the beer bottle and offering it to Spencer. ”I guess for starters you should know I hate bear.” he admitted, a slight smile of apology curling his lips. ”I’m not a big fan of alcohol in general, except maybe wine.” He was aware this may have sounded a bit rash, but ever since the day his grandfather set out to stop drinking, Liam also swore to stay as far away from alcohol as possible. It was the best and only way he could show his grandfather support.

He took another mouthful of noodles and reached for the pot stickers, placing one on his own plate and one on Spencer’s. ”But I might be just a tad bit addicted to coffee.” he added, though it was a severe understatement. Liam needed his cup of coffee every morning or he’d never get anything done. He hoped Spencer likes coffee too, or at the very least didn’t mind the smell. If not, they’d have a major issue.

”What about you?” Liam was aware he barely gave the guy any information about himself, but in all honesty, he didn’t know what to say. It’s not that his life had been boring, quite the contrary. At his young age, Liam had already been through his fair share of struggles, but those were subjects better left for a greater day. Maybe on a late night during a deep conversation, of course that rode on the answer to whether Spencer truly wanted that kind of friendship or if he wanted to go no deeper than friendly roommates.

Spencer arched a brow whenever Liam mentioned that he did like beer and reached across the table and grabbed ahold of Liam's beer, sitting it right beside his other bottle. "Well, more for me then." He chuckled then nodded his head toward him as he mentioned that he liked wine and Spencer swallowed the little bit of food in his mouth before he responded toward him. "Have you ever been to a winery? You know, where they drink wine all day and have cheese and crackers?" He asked because if he hasn't then Spencer knew of the best one across town and would not mind taking him one day.

He had watched as Liam placed a pot sticker onto his plate then looked up at him, looking as he mentioned his coffee addiction. "Dude, I have to take you to Stephen's down the street one morning then. Coffee, bagels, donuts and cake." Spencer leaned back in his chair and placed his hand over his heart and leaned his head back before he popped it right back up and eyed Liam. "You will die for a few minutes and go to heaven." He had joked then nearly choked on his noodles whenever Liam asked about him. There wasn't really much to tell, honestly and it shook him that he hasn't heard about him, at all. With all of the gossip going on around the streets and halls.

Before he answered him fully, he took a moment to think about certain details that he really wanted to tell Liam. Of course, he really just wanted to wing it but had to be careful about certain aspects within his life. To not keep Liam waiting any longer, Spencer eyed him again and parted his lips to speak. "Well, there isn't much too tell, honestly. I'm sure you heard a little bit about me though." Spencer mentioned with a shrug of his shoulders.

"But uh, I play the drums, sing, like board games, beach and you know, just like having an overall good time." He muttered toward Liam then picked up one of the beers, taking two sips from it before he sat it back down in front of him. "Sorry if I disappointed you with my information. I'm just used to people already knowing me, you know." Spencer muttered as he looked down to the floor for a moment then popped his eyes back at Liam. He picked up his napkin and wiped the corners of his mouth before wiping around his whole mouth now then stood up.

"Well, dinner was great, Liam." He said as he picked up his plate and started a trek toward the kitchen, laying it in the sink then walked back in the dining area and leaned up on the wall. "So, what do you want to do next?" Spencer chugged back the beer then locked his gaze with Liam's.

If Liam had to be honest he hadn’t expected Spencer to be so easy to talk to as he was. The rude asshole that attempted to kick him out of the dorm room earlier that day? That was the Spencer he’d expected to have to deal with the moment the dancer saw his face and regretted every life decision that had led him to that point. But sitting here, having a nice calm meal and listening to the guy ramble on about different places Liam had to visit with him was an unexpected, yet nice surprise.

The small boy chuckled at Spencer’s expressions as he talked on, not sure which question to respond to first. Liam was surprised by how little he talked about himself. In all honesty, Spencer had come off as a bit conceited anytime Liam happened to run into him, the kind of guy that would love to go on and on about himself but Spencer ended that subject fairly quickly. He was full of surprises, it seemed. Liam simply watched him with slight amusement, adding in his two cents and a soft smile every now and then.

”Well…” he finally spoke, taking a moment to swallow the last of his noodles and a few sips of water. Spencer had been quick to finish his food, a sign that he truly liked it. ”Classes start tomorrow, right? So why not make the best of the few hours we got left?” he suggested with a slight tilt of his head.

Liam got to his feet, taking his own plate along with the rest of the dishes and setting them in the sink. There wasn’t much to wash so he opted to do that while he carried on about his idea. ”Can I take you up on that offer to go to the coffee shop?” he asked, though a bit cautiously. It was rare that someone as popular as Spencer didn’t already have plans for the night and Emily was sure to give him hell for going out with someone other than her. But it was a new year, a time for new adventures and new friendships and what better place to start than with your own roommate?

After putting the leftovers into the refrigerator, Liam wiped off his hands and walked back to Spencer, coming to a stop just a few feet in from of him. ”I could go for some good coffee right now.” he folded his arms across his chest in true Liam fashion and gave the taller man a slight smirk. ”Not to mention you still have to make it up to me for trying to kick me out this morning.”

Spencer continued to look at Liam though this time, he raised a brow up at him for a moment. Before Liam could take notice at his curious gaze, Spencer mind did begin to wonder as instead of offering a reply toward him, he just simply nodded his head then leaned up in his seat a bit. When Liam had got up, his eyes followed his every move then came the ultimate question that he had wanted. Luckily, Spencer did not respond because his own personal choice would've been a bar but a coffee shop sounds like a better option for them both. Especially with classes starting up tomorrow for them and such. He had taken another swig from the beer then mashed his lips together, pondering on the question a bit more now.

"Yeah, I could go for some coffee."
He had responded before his gaze went down to the beer bottles in front of him. "I don't want to be hung over on the first day." He muttered while letting out a chuckle after he muttered those words and took another swig from the beer and grabbed the other one as he stood up. Liam was not the typical type of person he'd hang out with but they were going to be roommates so, he gave it a shot. Spencer walked toward Liam, standing mere inches away from him as he dropped the beer bottles in the trash then walked back to where Liam was.

Spencer laughed at his last comment then returned his smirk. Liam was really alright in Spencer's book and hoped that this friendship was going to be longlasting, for sure. "Yeah, about that..." He had placed his hand onto the back of his neck, the other hand traveled down into his pants pocket. "I was just expecting someone else, that's all." Spencer admitted truthfully then wrapped his arm around Liam's neck and started to walk toward the door, looking over at him with a smile.

"But hey, no hard feelings, right?" He had asked him, grabbing his keys and patting his back pocket to make sure that he had his wallet as he opened the door and exited first. He twirled his keys around his index finger then turned back to eye Liam for a moment. "You did lock the door, right? Also, are we going to Stephan's or did have another place in mind?" Spencer questioned him then held a hand up before he could answer, making an expression in the process. "And please, do not say Starbuck's or else, we're not going anywhere." Spencer had joked as they were nearing toward the parking lot, where he had unlocked his car for both of them to get inside. He had turned the key to crank up the engine but waited a moment before they'd pull off.

Spencer's gaze went over towards Liam as he settled inside of the passenger seat. His car was rather worthy of something around the millions but that's a secret he kept close to himself. His ears twitched at Liam's words as he grasped onto the steering wheel with a smile. "Thanks." Spencer muttered before pulling out of the parking lot and almost ran a red traffic light as he laughed about it about a mile or so down the road.

"How about some music?" He asked as he did not wait for an answer before reaching to turn the radio on an instrumental station. Spencer had started to bob his head to the beat, looking over at Liam briefly before transitioning his gaze back to the road. "So, how long have you been dancing?" He had asked of him as the silence between them was really bothering him. Spencer hated silence especially towards someone he would eventually consider a friend.

Spencer kept on driving, listening to Liam as he talked and nodding his head to every word. They weren't far away from Stephen's by now but as Spencer leaned up and squinted his eyes, it had looked like they were close. He had scoffed a bit underneath his breath as he pulled over to a nearby parking lot, leaning back in his seat with a thoughtful look on his face.

"So, Stephen's is closed." He had muttered with a little sigh then turned his gaze towards Liam. "I guess we'll be going back to our dormitory." Spencer spoke as he was preparing to back out of the parking lot then shifted his gaze back towards Liam with a quirked brow. "Unless you wanted to do something else?" Spencer inquired because he did not want to be locked up in his dorm all night. Especially with Liam.

Liam had to admit, if only to himself, that being in Spencer’s expensive car just the two of them wasn’t as bad as he’d imagined it to be. Still, it was nerve wracking enough. Not because of Spencer, because as far as Liam was concerned this guy was descent. From what little he knew of him that is. No, Liam’s nerves derived from an entirely different source.

The last time he was in an expensive car with a handsome guy, things didn’t end well for him. It had been a guy very similar to Spencer, but not quite so...honest. Liam had to admit that he’d been one of the most handsome men he’d ever met, charming, talented, someone he trusted. Someone he loved almost more than himself. It all was good for a while. Great in fact. Late night drives to hidden coffee shops, walks though the beach, extended practice sessions which consisted of Liam dancing and Benji complimenting his every move. It all felt too good to be true. And...it was.

"So, how long have you been dancing?" Spencer’s voice pulled Liam from his time traveling thoughts back to the present. He blinked a couple of times, like a deer caught in headlights, as Spencer’s question settled in. How long? Liam attempted to pinpoint the exact moment he started dancing, but he couldn’t remember. ”I don’t know, I...i guess since I discovered I could stand on my own.” All his life, Liam had only thought of one thing; dance. It’s what he loved, it’s what he was good at.

”My mom used to play me music while I was in the womb. So I’ve always loved it.” he explained, a smile made up of fond memories and longing. It’d been years since Liam lost his mother, but it still felt as fresh as today. ”I was born dancing.” he added, his smile morphing into one a bit more carefree.

However, it slowly disappeared the closer they drove to the coffee shop and realized it was closed. Liam couldn’t lie, he was a little disappointed. Not so much because of the coffee, which he could have anywhere else, but for the ruined opportunity to get to know Spencer better. A Spencer that only he as his roommate would ever see. Hopefully a more genuine Spencer than what the rest of the school has come to know.

”We can go back…” he said, his voice trailing off for a moment before he turned to face the driver. ”But...it’s still early and I’m kind of a night owl so…” there was a sudden nagging in the back of Liam’s voice that told him to stop while he was ahead. Just because Spencer was friendly didn’t mean they’d become anything more than roommates. But the trusting part of Liam was louder, insisting to give Spencer a fair chance even if just to be a casual friend. ”Do you still want to go to that bar?” Maybe Liam would end up hurt. Maybe he’d come to regret those words but, at the very least he could say he tried.
