|Personality|
Shannon has two modes. There is happy Shannon and mysterious Shannon. Happy Shannon is naturally bubbly and playful and full of life. She's very spontaneous and runs about five miles a minute in her own head. She's constantly smiling and her wide, childish smile can brighten up the whole room. She's the type to notice if you're upset and do everything in her power to make sure that whatever's bothering you stops immediately and you're back on the way to being happy and smiling again. She loves to joke and play pranks and have fun all the time. This can be a problem sometimes, as Shannon doesn't like to focus on serious conversation. She finds it much too stifling and boring. She'd much rather go with the flow and avoid the rough patches, rather than plan out how to deal with them, and cross bridges when he gets to them.
Mysterious Shannon, on the other hand, is more than just a little sad. Mysterious Shannon doesn't come out often. She only ever surfaces when happy Shannon has been reminded of her family. She won't ever reveal mysterious Shannon unless there is a physical, real-world stimulant that forces her to think about it. Mysterious Shannon is soft-spoken, polite, and nothing at all like happy Shannon. All mysterious Shannon wants to do is sit by herself and ignore everyone and let the world pass her by until she's ready to deal with it again. Mysterious Shannon can, however, be comforted if she is allowed to hug a person and cry on their shoulder.
|History|
To say Shannon grew up in a normal house, with a normal childhood, would be a total understatement. She had a mom, a dad and a sister. They were a happy family, by all notions of the word happy. Her parents had jobs, she and her sister went to school... life was good. That is, until the fire. One day, when Shannon and her younger sister were at their self defense class, their apartment building caught fire. They came home just in time to hear the Peacekeepers say there were no survivors. This broke Shannon, and her little sister.
The normal childhood meant Shannon was brought up in family environment, receiving all the basic needs i.e. Food, shelter, parents, love, care, education, sports, etc etc. Some children become victim of sexual abuse, violence, child labour and some are nurtured as an orphan, but that was never the case for Shannon and her sister. They were loved, and with that suddenly gone for her and her little sister, they were scared.
She sat on bed, not eating or drinking anything for a long time. Her sister was the only one who could get through to her and get her to eat something. She tried to act normal, but was only able to truly smile and laugh around her sister.
She was all but forced to grow up and take care of her sister, since she was a kid at heart, and therefore was immature sometimes. She was also the only one who could cook without either burning the house down or making them sick.
However, Shannon knew she had to keep it together for her little sister. One day, while Shannon was at school, her little sister ditched school and never came home. This crushed Shannon. He went into a spiraling depression that took about a year to clear up.
