Introduction
Ok, that's enough.
Wait, what?
Let me take over, you suck at this stuff.
Excuse me? I was just trying to explain-
Key word? Trying. Not doing a very good job.
But I-
Listen hun. You may be the GM of this RP, but I'm the one running this show.
What kind of character are you!
The best kind. Now go get some coffee or something sweetheart. I've got this.
*I walk away grumbling*
Pfft. Creators. What a trip. Anyway, here's the real lowdown. Shit's gotten out of wack. Way outta wack. People smile and wave to each other as they walk down the street. Guys open doors for gals and little old ladies get helped across the street. Robbery is almost unheard of. No country has so much as pointed a finger at each other in a decade. The Joker- remember him? The villain with the clown face?- is now a children's comedy show about a clown and his dog sidekick. No joke. I swear if I see one more heart felt confession from a couple who have been faithful to one another for years, I will vomit. I mean it. Like, huge, nasty chunks flying everywhere.
So, you see the problem right? You don't? Lemme esplain eet to joo. There. Is. Too. Much. Good.
For some stupid reason, people tend to think of balance as a circular race track that can only be driven in one direction. Evil people try to be too evil. They win a bit. Good guys save the day. Balance restored. Lather, rinse, re-fuckin-peat. But guess what? Balance requires both elements to be equally powerful. In other words, sometimes Superman has to get his ass whooped by Darkside and Batman had to loose Robin. That sure as shit isn't happening right now. The good guys have us undesirables stomped into the ground, and they're keeping us that way. But times, they are a-changin. Wanna know how?
We're taking back the night bitches.
My name, is Lues. It basically means Bane or Evil in Latin. (Kick ass huh?) But to everyday, average joes I am known as Lois DeFluer. My front is a quaint little floral shop on 5th avenue called "Nature's Gifts." I cringe everytime I realize it's mine. (By the by, the addy's 6782 5th Ave. Remember it.) But in actuality, I'm a millenia old demigoddess of evil.
Best. Job. Ever.
So here's what happened. One day my big brother Dependendum, which means Balance for you Scoobies who haven't commited to learning a dead language, walks into my establishment with an agenda to talk about. And it ain't about getting petunias for his knew girlfriend. He says that the light's gotten a bit too bright and it's time the darkness dimmed it a bit for the sake of balance. He doesn't care how; he just wants it done. So now there's a bright side to our little predicament ladies and gents. You see, there are no rules. We, the villains, get to deal with this good infestation however we want. Translation? Par-tay. I've been tasked with the duty of selecting a few champions of evil to help me out in our noble quest. Trust me, you don't wanna miss this. Shit's gonna get as fun as hell and high water. Don't be late to the party kiddies. It'll be a blast.
Can I talk now?
I dunno. Can you?
Oh for the love of- May I talk now?
Sure, knock yourself out... Literally.
...Yeah. Anyway here's the technical stuff. We obviously need some very evil villains. I'm looking for the lowest of the low and the baddest of the bad. Your character can be any type of bad guy from any timeline you choose. Just know that the RP will take place in a modern setting. They can be sci fi, fantasy, modern, or mythical. Anything you want. The champions of darkness will be invited using a method which Lues likes tremendously... You'll be hit in the face with a rock that has an invitation attached.
However, we also need good characters. These characters are going to be on the bad guy hitlist that will be sent out by our dear Lues. They don't have to be overtly corny or anything; anti-heroes are acceptable as well. Also, don't make youur good characters too weak. They are supposed to be the dominant force right now so it wouldn't make sense if they all died like... Like... Um...
Like bitches?
Well yeah, but I was trying not to curse.
Speaking of cursing, as you can already see, it will be apart of this RP as will violence and possibly sexual things too. So if that's not your cup of tea, maybe this isn't for you.
Character Skeleton
Name;:
Alias: (nickname or codename. Ex. Lois DeFluer)
Age:
Gender:
Appearance: (Either words or a picture will do)
Occupation: (Ex. Goddess of Evil, Vampire, Sorceror, Assassin, Cop, etc)
Abilities: (optional. You can reveal this throughout the RP if you so desire)
Personality:
Alliance: (Just good and evil for now. We'll see about nuetral characters later)
Likes: (optional)
Dislikes: (optional)
History: (If you would prefer to unveil this during the RP rather than explain it all right out, that's fine. Update this section as the character history is revealed.)
Let's try to avoid one dimensional characters. Also, let's make a good variety of Occupations. Demons are awesome and all, but we don't need five of them. Mix it up a bit. Be creative.
P.S. Feel free to ask questions. Don't be shy.

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 5 authors
Theodosius stared at his abominable creation. He'd somehow managed to create a skull out of the plucked petals of a lily. It was quite creative really. He'd just begun to gather some roses to add in red eyes when his employer and mistress, Lus, stepped out of the hidden back room.
"They here yet?"
Teddy rolled his eyes with a sigh and replied "If they were here, you'd have seen them already."
Lues smirked at his exasperation and hopped onto the counter. She made herself comfortable and crossed her stocking-covered legs. She had decided to play up the "Lois DeFluer" image and had dressed herself in a creamy white blouse that covered everything in a show of modesty. The baby pink skirt she wore complemented her occupational status in that it was decorated with various floral patterns. Her stilettos were a mix of pink and cream and completed her outfit. Teddy was getting an up close and personal view of her shoes as she had politely stuck them in his face for his inspection. "When can we expect them, mine servant?"
"Dunno. They'll show up when they show up." Teddy returned to his computer and began typing. He had a completely different appearance than Lues. He had decided to stay a bit more true to his actual self. His outfit was black head to toe. He wore simple, uncomplicated clothes without pattern or adornment. The only opulent additives of his appearance were his lip and eyebrow piercings which happened to be gold at the moment.
Lues pouted a bit at his response. When she'd sent her teleportation rocks flying through distance and time, she had forgotten to specify a time on her "invitation." If they worked right the champions could show up anywhere between a few minutes and a few hours. Hopefully they wouldn't tread past the day or year marks, then she'd have her big brother banging down her hideously floral door. Lues sighed at her carelessness.
"Fine. I guess I'll just sit right here until they drag their butts through the door. I'll get things rockin' when they all show up. I do so hate to repeat instructions." Lues clapped her hands together and a bottle of scotch appeared in her waiting hands.
"Who knows, maybe we'll get into an engaging discussion about the lovely chrysanthemums to the left... God I hate my life."
"If it makes you feel better, I hate your life too."
"That does help somehow. Anywho, I'll be drinking myself into a stupor while we wait."
"Not in a lady-like mood?"
"Am I ever?" She tilted her head back and downed about half the bottle before coming up for air. At least she'd have something interesting to do as she waited for her comrades-to-be.
He pocketed the stone and went on his marry way. He kept the stone until the invention of English and he could finally read the note all it said was to go to Nature's Gifts, he had no Idea what that meant, but as the Internet was invented he found a flower shop of the name and went to it. He opened the door to the Flower shop and saw a man and a woman. "You rang?" He asked rhetorically as he threw the rock that was thrown at him so many years ago with all his might at the man dressed in black's head.

"Son of a- That's gonna swell... Is this one of them boss?"
"Yeah, yeah he is." Lues hopped of her seat with no indication that she had been drinking. She walked right up to Alberto, without so much as a hint of intimidation, and gave him a few once overs. Apparently, she liked what she saw and smiled approvingly.
"As fit and fantastic as the first day I saw you. Yeah, you'll do."
Lues flashed her pearly whites at Alberto and stuck her hand out in greeting. "Hello Dark Warrior. Tell me, do you know why you're here or who I am? Also, what do you call yourself these days?"

Teddy, who had finished poking at his slightly swelled eye, raised an eyebrow at "Alberto's" statement. He crossed his arms and looked menacing as the warrior approached. There was something about him, other than the fact that the guy just threw a rock at him, that set him on edge.
"You off'd Alex? Hardcore man. And the name's Theodore as far as you're gonna know. As to how old I am?" Teddy pursed his lips and pretended to do some figures in his head. "I guess I'm twenty and three fifths as of today. Dunno why you thought otherwise. Just 'cause you're immortal doesn't mean everyone else has to be." Teddy had no real reason to hide his age or name, he just felt like antagonizing the newcomer.
Most of his money had been spent running across the country, now he had to do something to get more money. The only thing he wanted to do before that was cause a riot, was it stupid to light the city up with his power like a light bulb yes, was of funny of course, would it be easy to find him no way. The only problem was which store would he hide in while the riot was happening, as he looked around his eyes rested on a flower shop Natures Gift, good as any thing all he had to do was play on their fears to keep away from it. As he started walking towards it he unleashed his powers, anyone without powerful will in a radius of 6 miles suddenly their base emotions fear, anger, lust, greed, depression, etc. were heightened to a level that they cared about society’s laws no longer they were like beasts. As he closed the door behind him, there were already three suicides, 2 murders, and multiple crimes starting; as he looked around he was surprised that the three in there were acting like his powers didn’t affect them. “I wouldn’t go out there it’s going to get much worse before it gets better and round two begins when the police or if we’re lucky the army appears.”
Mary fuckin' Theresa! I DO NOT swing that way damn it!
And Lues? What could this already slightly pissed off death goddess do once her servant had been partially molested? She laughed of course. Her laughter filled the room with ridicule at Teddy's expense. Teddy, ever the sensitive little immortal, blushed ever so slightly and glared at the bastard and the woman who'd made him immortal.
"Not funny Lu," Teddy growled. As he was he wasn't pissed but cooling off quickly, that is until he realized something. Then he shot off his desk and grabbed Alberto by the scruff of his neck. "YOU'RE THAT SICK MOTHER FUCKER WHO KILLED ME!"
"Ding ding ding! Teddy's figured it all out folks! That enough reason for you to stay tall dark and horny? Cuz I'm expecting a few more people to show up. May take a few minutes."
"YOU INVITED THE MAN WHO KILLED ME?!"
"Don't get your gothic stockings all in a twist. Geez. I haven't seen you so riled up since that transvestite tried to give you a blowjob in Budapest."
"I was a hooker with like fifty diseases and it was Sri Lanka, not Budapest." Teddy pushed Alberto away from him and started back toward his seat. That was when the second man walked through.
“I wouldn’t go out there it’s going to get much worse before it gets better and round two begins when the police or if we’re lucky the army appears.”
Lues turned away from Alberto and smiled at Malus. "Well hello there Mr. King, so nice of you to join us. And lemme guess, you've already put that nifty talent of yours to use. Wonderful. I do appreciate that type of go getter personality on my staff."

Lues pursed her lips in amusement and leaned her hip against the wall. "Very astute Sir Alberto. You're a regular Sherlock Holmes. Teddy stop playacting and get me a soda."
Thedosius' eyes stopped doing that rolling thing, the choking sounds stopped, and he dropped his hands and glared at Lues.
"Aw c'mon Lulu, this is frickin' gold here."
"Oh stop it. I'm thirsty."
Teddy rolled his eyes and sighed. "Well I am kinda stuck here yah know."
As soon as the words left his mouth, Alberto was thrown and pinned against the wall sending him crashing through rows of flowers. Lues smiled prettily at her servant.
"Better?"
Teddy rubbed his neck with an apathetic look on his face. "Much." He turned around and went to the back without another word or glance at anyone.
Lues calmly looked at Alberto's massive body. "Listen well and listen carefully Dark One. I have no intention of being disrespected or bullied."
With each word the atmosphere seemed to cave in on them. The lights seemed dimmer and more imposing though they didn't so much as flicker. The shadows seemed to slither and slide all over the place, but nothing moved. The air seemed rancid with not only the smell but the feeling of evil, a power so horrid and tangible that it seemed to reach out and caress the assembled company.
"I wouldn't be so foolish as to create a servant that you could kill, Sir Berty. So fine, I'll give you your permission since you asked so nicely. It's a trivial pointless pursuit anyway. And yes, I am a goddess. My name is Lues and I would appreciate it if you used it appropriately." Lues' tone and smile spoke the volumes of threats behind her seemingly polite words.
"Make no mistake Warrior. Your being here is a privilege. Countless rewards await you if you cooperate with me and you future comrades. All I ask for, is whatever limited loyalty that sculpted body of yours possesses. That and a healthy dose of mutual respect."
She moved away from her wall and walked up to the immortal warrior oozing menace so very potent, it was almost a visible darkness surrounding her.
"You want riches? I give you an offer to take them. You want power? You'll have more than you can handle. What about a good challenge? You can bet your sweet firm ass that I'll give you that. These opponents may just hand that ass to you and send you on to the great unknown. Rock and Roll? Kidnap Ac Dc and make them your bitches for all I care. As for the sex part." Her smile took on another character altogether as she looked at the well muscled warrior. Her presence shed its menace and took on a come hither character. When she spoke again it was a luxurious, low purr.
"You and I can discuss the details of that later... Explicitly."
“Mrs. Grer, I’m leaving.” She called out to the back of the store so the owner would know to come back to the front to serve the few customers they did get.
“Take care, deary.” Mrs. Grer called back to her as the young woman walked out of the room onto the sidewalk.
She pulled her mp3 player from her pocket and put the small black headphones into her ears as she turned the device on. Not really caring what she listened to, she simply put it on random and started down the street.
I’m glad it’s going to rain today. He would have liked that. He loved the rain. Ash thought to herself as the music pulsed in her ears. Her mind couldn’t have been further removed from it and she didn’t hear the lyrics only the beat.
The streets wove into each other as she finally made it to her destination. It was a little flower shop where she hoped she could get something to put on her brother’s grave. She’d never stopped here before, usually opting for the one a bit closer to the cemetery, but she had noticed that the flowers looked to be in better quality, so why not stop? Didn’t the dead deserve the best too?
Stepping into the shop her brows furrowed in concern. There was a man lying on the ground and she wasn’t sure whether or not he was alive. Glancing around, she saw two other people, a man and a woman. The woman looked like she knew what was going on so she approached her hoping this wasn’t a bad time. Removing a single head phone from her ear so she could hear what was being said, she hoped the music wasn’t loud enough for anyone else in the room to hear as well.
“I was hoping to get some roses.” She said as calmly as she could. A man on the floor in a flower shop wasn’t something one usually saw or expected to see. Something about the whole situation had the hairs on the back of her neck tingling and the familiar sensation of being in danger was starting to rise, but she forced it back as a smiled lightly to the other woman.
The setting changes from Htrae to Nature's Gifts
In this girl he sensed sadness, caution, acceptance, and some others. He guessed that this girl was cautious because of the so called warrior being thrown across the room and him lying there when the girl came in, but the others probably someone she knows anniversary of death or some other kind of crap, but he could use those emotion, but the only ones that he cared about was the caution, patience, and sadness. while he could increase emotions he could also dim them to the point that they though that did increase the opposite effect, but this girl let’s see how would it feel if he upped her impatience to levels where she would get a little grouchy and decrease her caution to level that where she would act before she thinks, and a little depression wouldn’t hurt her.
He looked at the other two men here the big ones anger and pride were high, and the one that had smacked him was lazy and subservient to the goddess, a little fear, a little honor, some kiss-upness, is what that emotional construct was. Well if he was gonna stand here in this corner then those two might be fun, increase the big one pride to blimp level and anger to berserker, and the little ones subservientness needed to be eclipsed by his laziness. Before he worked on that the goddess had spoken to him “what would you like me to call you, Mam or Lues, and to your question about did I see the riot outside, yes, I did but I don’t think she did she walked right through it and didn't even seem to bother her.”
The setting changes from Nature's Gifts to Htrae
"I'll be with you in a moment dear. I'm afraid this man suddenly passed out --think he might need medical attention-- while I was speaking with this other young gentleman about getting him a job. Oh my. I'm just amiss about what to do! Sh-should we take his pulse? Is he breathing? Oh, how can you just stand there all calm like that Mr. King!"
Her speech became more and more frantic and tearful as she went on with her speech. If she was anything, Lues was a good actress and once she fell into the Lois persona she could be very convincing.
She bent down and started a fumbling attempt to take Alberto's pulse. Then she leaned down and turned her head away from the view of Ashling. Then she whispered to Alberto in a hissing tone. "Play along or I will end you."
She got up with a sigh, the worried look still on her face. "He-he's breathing and his pulse is fine but I don't know what's wrong! Young lady, do you have any medical experience? What about you Mr. King? I'm completely out of my element here. Oh and it's Lois dear, call me Lois."
As she turned to Malus her look sent the same message to him: play along.
She had to keep herself under control for this. She knew about Ashling and that demon hunting shrew was one of the first Champions of Light on her hit list. This is why she hated flowers. All these stupid goody two shoes types seem to be absolutely frickin fascinated with them!
The setting changes from Htrae to Nature's Gifts
Ash winced slightly at the pain and lifted her hand to touch her temple. She put a little bit of pressure on the muscle lying just under the skin, but it didn’t do any good for her. Shaking her head she turned back to the woman.
The shop owner’s reactions to the man seemed to put her at ease a bit. It was something she expected though the feelings never quite went away. She watched the whole event before shaking the head to the question directed towards her.
“No, I don’t.” She said. Her voice was low and she hoped contained so her feelings of concern at the situation of unease not the man itself couldn’t be picked up on. “Really, if this is a bad time I could come back…” Or never. She thought. “I just wanted to get flowers for my brother’s grave.”
It wasn’t like she couldn’t go to another flower shop. Like the one that was closer to the cemetery to begin with. The music pounding in her ears didn’t help the ache that was forming in the back of her skull and behind her eye lids. She just wanted to go home. She had mid terms to study for and papers to write before they were off on break. She would be working the whole time, but that wasn’t what bothered her.
Something about the whole situation was bothering her. The pushing against her barriers was the worst. She never usually felt things like what she was now. Not to mention the unsettling feeling that she was getting. The flight and fight mode were gearing up and gaining speed quickly. She wanted to leave, but she felt socially bound not to just duck back out of the store.
The setting changes from Nature's Gifts to Htrae
"I'm so sorry to hear that. And so young too! Here, take these and don't worry about the cost. Ugh, I always feel just awful when children walk into my store looking for graveyard flowers."
She gave Ashling a bouquet of assorted lilies and other white flowers. With any luck the little do-gooder would choke on them.
"Heavens, now I'm all mucked up with problems. First I'm not prepared from an interview. Then a man passes out on my floors and to top it all off I will probably spend the next few minutes brooding about these wretched boquets of the deceased. My day certainly hasn't turned out as I'd expected."
And that was the truth. Lues hardly thought assembling a troop of ne'er do wells would be easy (where's the fun in that?) but she wasn't counting on the pretty little princess making a cameo until a time of Lues' discretion. Whatever. It hadn't gone terribly awry.
“Listen, thank you for the flowers, but I don’t take charity for whatever reason. My brother is dead. I don’t want handouts because of it. So please, I came for rose. Six red, six white.” She hoped she wasn’t being overly pushy or even mean. The woman really did appear to be having a bad day.
That wasn’t her problem. What her problem was that everyone babied her and treated her like a breakable doll after Liam had died. She wasn’t something to be put on a shelf. For some random stranger to do the same thing, while unknowingly, it hurt. It was a hurt she didn’t want to live with. So she couldn’t take the free flowers.
The setting changes from Htrae to Nature's Gifts
And as soon as he saw where it was that this call brought him, he decided it was worth his while having answered it. Rather, it was not the place - some small street in a place he didn't recognize - but the means by which he was brought there that was interesting. Teleportation, being instantly (or nigh-instantly) transported from one place to another, and with no visible means by which it was performed. It was quite impressive, and he would have liked to meet with whoever made it possible. The location of choice seemed strange, however: a very archaic-looking town which looked like it belonged in the early twenty-first century. What was so special about that place anyway?
Deciding he would find the answer upon reaching the source of the "call", Richard started moving. It wasn't long before he reached an area where some sort of riot was taking place, with people just rampaging about. Was it how this "call" affected lesser beings? He noticed how out-of-fashion their clothes looked and realized he had nothing on but his nano-suit, which wasn't exactly a common sight either. It was always better to at least try to blend in, as far as he was concerned.
He managed to obtain some brown shirt and trousers that probably passed off for normal clothes here without any trouble, save for the occasional seemingly insane person attacking him and being instantly dispatched. He didn't really care what the reason for their behavior was, if they got in his way it was their own fault. The young man had soon arrived at a small flower shop, and smirked at the sight. The place was obviously made to blend in, but now that the surroundings were in complete chaos, it remained as idyllic as it presumably was normally, completely untouched. He saw several people on the inside; he had no doubt none of them were there purely by chance, but one woman stood out. She was the one called him to that place, he knew that the instant he saw her.
"I got your call." Richard addressed Lues casually, entering the place like he owned it; that was how he usually held himself everywhere, unless circumstances demanded otherwise. He wasn't sure what was happening, and while his mind ran through hundreds of scenarios, he honestly didn't care all that much. He stated his business quite bluntly. "Why did you want me here?"
The setting changes from Nature's Gifts to Htrae
"Alright dear. I'm terribly sorry, I just wanted to show my sympathy. Thank you Mr. King. I appreciate your efforts. though sometimes you can be a bit over zealous..."
Lues let that statement hang in the air. She liked Malus' ability well enough, but there was a time and place. She'd have to teach him how to hone his abilities to their greatest extent. Lues waved Ashling over to the check out counter and ringed up her purchase. Quickly wrapping the roses Lues sent a mental message to her servant to receive the two conscious villains and keep the disruptive, ignorant bastards busy. Being a beautiful, immortal, evil goddess could be so taxing at times.
Shifting the flowers around she put the earphones back into her ears and restarted the mp3 player. Glancing out the door, she looked at the scene with a shake of her head. The living’s issues never concerned her unless of course there was something supernatural attached to their problems. The riot that was going on had nothing to do with it, so what did she care.
Turning the volume up, she took one last quick glance towards the inside of the store before heading down the street straight for the graveyard. Walking up the hill, she went until she was standing directly in front of the grave: Liam Warren.
Sitting down, she crossed her legs Indian style and placed the roses on the grave. “I miss you.” She whispered as a single tear fell from the corner of her eye. The anniversary was always the hardest, and having not been able to defeat the demon that had killed her brother tore at her conscious. It was the only real reason she still continued what he had done. She had a promise and she never broke it. One day she knew she would kill the demon that had taken her best friend.

1) The difference between "your" and "you're"
These two words are homonyms. In layman's term, this means they sound the same, but are spelled differently and have different meanings. Despite the lack of attention the internet pays to this rule, it an important part of literary writing. For those of us who are just one step away from being Grammar Nazis, viewing the wrong usage of these words are just short of agonizing. So let's define the two!
Your: one's (used to indicate that one belonging to oneself or to any person)
This means that the word "your" should be used in the context of showing ownership.
Ex. Your jacket; Your grades; Your responsibility
You're: contraction of you are
This means that the word "you're" should be used in the context of defining a person or personal characteristic.
Ex. You're so funny; You're a liar; You're so smart
Note: The usage of you're constitutes a complete thought on its own while your does not. (However, if you choose to write the thought "You are" by itself, you would not use a contraction.)
Other mistakes occur in homonyms such as there, their, and there, two, to, and too, and other such words. Here's some quick definitions.
There: in or at that place (opposed to here)
Their: a form of the possessive case of they used as an attributive adjective, before a noun
They're: contraction of they are
Two: a cardinal number, 1 plus 1
To: used for various expressions (look it up at dictionary.com if you want to know them all)
Too: in addition; also; furthermore; moreover (smart, funny, and rich too); to an excessive extent or degree; beyond what is desirable, fitting, or right (too sick to travel); more, as specified, than should be (too near the fire); used as an affirmative to contradict a negative statement (I am too!); extremely; very
And now you know about the most common homonyms.
P.S. This wasn't meant to insult, single out, or mock anyone. These mistakes are common ones that you see dozens if not hundreds of internet authors make. Generally speaking, following these rules adds more credibility to one's writing and builds upon one's writing potential. The only reason I do this is because I care. Personally, when I make mistakes or when there are things I can improve about myself, I want to know. (I'm hardly the perfect author myself yah know.) As such, I extend this courtesy as I often wish to receive it. As Haas33's signature says: Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance. And yes, I'm serious. I'm going to do this weekly. XD

In your opinion guys, what would have been a more intuitive way to start things off so I can avoid anymore confusion. Don't be shy (but don't be mean either). Constructive criticism is appreciated since I'm still learning and all. Once again, sorry about that.
